  • Path Of Exile 2 (6 Co-Op Mode Changes): How To Improve The Multiplayer Co-Op Experience?

    Posted: Jan 27, 2025

Path of Exile 2 Early Access has been very well received since its release, not only because it is the first sequel to POE series that has been popular with MMO players for decades, but more importantly, POE 2 itself provides players with a great co-op experience, even in Early Access stage.

However, GGG must not stop here if it wants to maintain the original enthusiasm of the large number of players after the full version of POE 2 is released, because there are indeed some design choices that are not ideal.

With this in mind, let’s talk about the co-op mode issues in Path of Exile 2 that need some serious adjustments, and improving them may really help POE 2 take the top spot in multiplayer co-op games!

    1. Teleporting

First, let’s start with something that many players have been complaining about, and that is Teleporting.

Teleporting has always been a very important core mechanic of group games, but in POE 2, it is unnecessarily complicated.

If you’re on the same map as your teammates, you can’t even teleport to them! You either have to walk, which can take a long time on enormous maps, or walk back and forth through town portals. That’s right, either you teleport to the town, then teleport to their checkpoint, and your teammates have to open their portals so you can jump back to them. It’s tedious and a waste of time.

The solution seems simple, though: by using an existing button in UI, let us teleport directly to our teammates, no matter where they are. GGG could perhaps add a short cast time to balance things out. That would save a lot of trouble.

    2. Map Display

Another headache is the map display, which is complex and unclear map information that can easily make players completely lost.

Not only that, there is no way to sync map discovery between teams, which means that if your team explores separately, the areas they discover will not be synced with everyone else’s map, which will just keep wasting your time backtracking. Imagine how frustrating it would be when you spent an hour exploring a map that your teammates have already swept and never found an Exalted Orb!

In fact, we don’t need military-level planning to scout the map in cooperation, just a simple shared map. This will greatly improve the exploration process, reduce backtracking, and keep everyone on the same page.

    3. Resurrection Speed

It is well known that it takes a long time to revive teammates in POE 2, especially when the enemy keeps interrupting you. Everything will easily return to the starting point.

Some players may want to say that as long as the character’s survivability is improved, it will not be easily killed? But seriously, building evasion or relying on crowd control skills such as stun, shock, or freeze will indeed help, but even so, it is a hit and miss. Not to mention, a high-survivability character often requires an enormous investment of POE Currency, which is difficult for early players to do.

In contrast, shorter casting time or immunity to interruption will often help us a lot. In addition, outside of combat, why not completely eliminate the casting time? This is completely unnecessary downtime. Although they have made some minor changes to the casting time in patch 0.1.1, the penalty system still feels a bit over the top.

Other than that, respawn options in POE 2 are minimal. If you die in co-op, you can basically just wait for someone to revive you, or wait for everyone to wipe out and then respawn together. This is totally unnecessary.

Imagine dying on the other side of the map and then you just sit there doing nothing, waiting for your buddies to come and rescue you, which is absolutely frustrating in the middle of story progression.

I think GGG could have just let players respawn in towns for non-endgame content. That way, you can rejoin the action right away instead of dragging everyone down. If you want to have a better chance of winning battles after respawning and upgrade your gear with more orbs, why not join the giveaways that are often offered in IGGM Discord? You have nothing to lose, anyway!

    4. Flask Charges

Next, let’s talk about Flasks. Flasks only recharge when you land a critical hit, which doesn’t make sense in co-op, especially if your teammates use Culling mechanic or deal a lot more damage than you do. Of course, you can improve this by finding potions with charge modifiers, but the effect is poor.

So what’s a better solution? In short, count the kills of the entire squad. If someone kills, everyone’s Flask should be charged. Only such a simple and fair application method can keep the action going.

    5. Skill Effect Display

Now turn to this headache skill effect problem in POE 2. If you have ever played with a spellcaster, you will know how difficult it is. Their spells, special effects and minions fill the entire screen, and you can’t even see your character. What’s worse, this also includes the skills of the boss you should avoid. Fire spells are the worst, especially between the firewall and the explosion, everything is a mess.

Therefore, players urgently call for a simple slider to adjust the transparency of teammates' spells and minions to solve this problem.

    6. Endgame

Finally, let’s talk about the endgame survival problem. Because in the endgame map, if you die, you’re done, just like the hardcore mode in Diablo 4. When you die in co-op, you either wait in town or lie on the ground until your partner completes the map, which is terrible for co-op. Not only is it harder if one of you dies, the others have to do the rest of the mission alone without you, but you don’t get any loot.

Why not use the existing portal system to improve this? There are already six portals per map, so why not let players use them to respawn? Of course, the penalty mechanism still has to be retained, but it allows everyone to participate. This will make map making feel more collaborative, less punitive for co-op players, and more fun for those who are looking for a higher difficulty challenge!

    Outro

Well, these are the 6 points that we have summarized that are in desperate need of improvement in POE 2’s multiplayer co-op mode. These changes will make co-op more fun.

Although this is already a great game, some adjustments like this will further improve the co-op experience. So, what do you think? Do you think there are still areas that need to be adjusted? See you next time!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Best Life And Mana Flask: How To Get Them?

    Posted: Jan 26, 2025

Whether it’s Path of Exile 2 or Diablo 4, what are the most important resources for players? The vast majority of builds need health and mana. Health represents your tolerance for mistakes in the game. The more health you have, the less likely you are to die in the game because of a single mistake. And the more mana you have, the more skills you can unleash.

Players have many ways to restore health in Path of Exile 2, such as passive, life drain, etc., and the methods of restoring mana are similar. However, these methods only extend your endurance. If you are really in danger, these methods are not enough.

The best and most direct way to restore life and mana in Path of Exile 2 is to use Life Flask and Mana Flask to restore you directly. There are more than one Life Flask and Mana Flask in Path of Exile 2, and they have different effects. So what are the best Life Flask and Mana Flask in Path of Exile 2? They are Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask and Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask.

    Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask

Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask is a valuable consumable. This Life Flask will give the player a large amount of instant life recovery, which can often save the player from danger.

When you click on Life Flask, you will be restored immediately, while other Life Flasks in Path of Exile 2 are mostly restored slowly over a certain period. Instant Recovery is far more popular than slow recovery in Path of Exile 2.

Normal Ultimate Life Flasks can only restore 30% of the player’s life at a time, while Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask can restore 100% of the player’s life at a time, which is why Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask is the best Life Flask.

    Here are its specific effects:

    • Restores 920 Life Points in 3 seconds
    • Uses 10 of 75 charges when used
    • Has 75 charges
    • Instant Recovery
    • Increases charge by 100–150% each time used
    • Excess Life Recovery lasts 10 seconds as a Guard

How To Get Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask?

Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask only appears as a drop from Olroth, Origin of the Fall, Expeditions pinnacle boss. Players can only find Olroth during Level 79+ Expedition Logbook runs, and Olroth still appears with probability. Fortunately, its probability of appearing is quite high, and players have at least a more than 50% chance of encountering this boss.

To find Olroth, Logbook is essential. You can participate in Expeditions activities, defeat the enemies that jump out after the explosion, and then get Logbooks from the treasure chest.

Expeditions activities not only give you Logbooks but also a lot of POE 2 Currency, making them one of the most interesting endgame activities.

Once you have enough Logbooks, you need to talk to Dannig in Hideout to open the map to Olroth.

    Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask

Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask has a lot of description. As powerful as it is, you also have to take some risks when using it.

    Here’s what it does:

    • Restores 310 Life Points over 3 seconds.
    • Consumes 10 of 75 charges when used.
    • There are 75 charges.
    • The effect does not disappear immediately after the mana bar is full.
    • Duration increased by (200–250) %.
    • Deals chaos damage equal to 50% of the mana consumed per second to nearby enemies in 3 seconds while in use.
    • Instantly restores all mana.
    • When the effect ends, takes chaos damage is equal to one quarter of the remaining mana.

It can be seen that Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask is not just a Flask that can only restore mana. It can also cause certain damage to monsters. This item can increase the output of the spellcaster.

How To Get Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask?

Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask is a drop from Kosis, the Revelation of Delirium event. Players need to use 300 Simulacrum Splinters to synthesize a Simulacrum.

Simulacrum Splinter is relatively rare in the game. Players can exchange a Simulacrum with other players through Currency Exchange using your POE 2 Exalted Orb, or you can instill your Waystones with Delirium fog, which requires the use of instilling mechanic. After success, you can find 10-50 Simulacrum Splinters on each map.

The specific number of Simulacrum Splinters obtained will be determined by the number of monsters on the map, so you need to choose a map with more monsters as much as possible.

If you want to trade a Simulacrum with another player but don’t have enough Currency, you can enter IGGM discord, where there are often giveaways that can help you get Simulacrum.

That’s about Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask and Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask. Not only are these two items consumable, but they are not necessarily dropped by the boss. You may find a lot of Currency from the boss, but not the flask, which is normal. However, you can definitely get one of the boss’s unique drops, so don’t be discouraged.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Explosive Shot Deadeye Build: How Does This Low-Budget Build Perform?

    Posted: Jan 24, 2025

Here we are, Exiles, sharing a new Crossbow build in Path Of Exile 2, Explosive Shot Deadeye Build with Shockburst Rounds. It is extremely powerful in the endgame and is one of the great builds that every Crossbow lover should not miss!

    Weapon Swap Mechanics Explained

Before we get started, though, let’s explain the new Weapon Swap Mechanics. In POE 2, Weapon Swap refers to the ability to quickly switch between two different sets of weapons, usually using the “X” key by default, by assigning specific abilities to each set of weapons, players can use different skills and play styles depending on the situation, effectively changing the focus of the character depending on the current combat scenario. It can greatly improve your Crossbow build without spending too much POE 2 Currency. Even with some dangerous modifiers, this build is pretty solid for farming T16 maps, as long as you follow our crossbow tips in this guide.

    How To Optimize Your Weapons?

The core items in this build have not changed, including the primary weapon for Shockburst Rounds. Note that here, you should not equip the implicit version of the crossbow with extra bolts. This is because the reload speed of this base is very low and you have to shoot quickly to avoid being crushed by monsters.

So if you are going to upgrade your weapons, it is recommended that you get extra bolts as explicit modifiers, along with high attack speed, physical damage, and short reload time. You can even use Weapon Swap for this.

To be more cost-effective, you can use bolts with a lot of flat physical damage for Shockburst Rounds, and bolts with fast attack speed, short reload time, extra bolts, and decent physical damage for Explosive Shot. You can even get some fire damage in there.

How important is the extra bolt here? It’s as powerful as double damage and double attack speed. So you can swap weapons between these two depending on the difficulty of the encounter.

    Weapon Swap Settings

Once you have Weapon Swap set up, it’s really easy.

First, you open the skills section and tick the weapon group for each skill according to the 2 slots you put them in. You can even try to tick the Always attack without moving option. After you load a single crossbow shot with the respective bolt, then you can forget about it. For this, we even have two separate settings in the passive tree, because one is for clearing and the other is for boosting lightning damage.

Then you might ask, how important is Weapon Swap in the passive tree? It is a very powerful boost to single target damage, because you are actually trading the points you spent on clearing for free passive damage points. For example, you can give Shock effect and Area of Effect to weapon 1, while putting all the damage points into weapon 2. After testing, this is very powerful. You should give it a try!

    Passive Tree

The current passive tree has changed a lot compared to before. Like we said before, we take points for Shock effect and Area of Effect for weapon 1, while we put points into Lightning Penetration and damage for weapon 2. For Explosive Shot, the more projectiles you have, the damage will be doubled.

So why didn’t we use Scattershot Support? First of all, Scattershot has a big drawback, which is its slow attack speed. When clearing things like Ritual and Breach, you need to fire faster. This support will give you a huge amount of damage, but at the cost of this major drawback. If you lack damage and like this, then go for it!

You can use Scattershot against major single targets, anyway. For this, it is important to increase the duration of the shock on the target, which you can get from rare gems. If Shock lasts longer, it helps make boss fights less annoying.

How To Avoid Dying On T15+ Maps?

If you try this build and die too many times in T15+ maps, here are some important issues you can fix.

First is the clearing and attack speed. You need a bigger AOE explosion and attack rate. Then there is the considerable damage, you also have to constantly upgrade the main skill gem and its slot, just upgrade the main attack gem and you can get a lot of damage. In POE 2, if you don’t kill them first, they will eventually kill you. Unlike POE 1, currently you can’t face every hit in the game, no matter how much life or ES you have, some monster explosions on the ground can easily destroy any build. So make sure you stack as much life, evasion, and resistance as possible.

For physical damage, we have no choice but Wind Ward. If you die before getting the fourth Ascendancy, then you can swap Endless Munitions for Wind Ward. Your Explosive Shot will do a ton of damage, but at least you won’t be hit by attacks off-screen.

Getting Tailwind is easy for Crossbow builds, you can get Tailwind from every projectile of Explosive Shot, or even if you switch between ammo and shooting.

Another important thing to note is that if you don’t have more than 10k evasion and don’t have Tailwind, then you shouldn’t pick up Acrobatics keystone. This is very important for evasion builds no matter what you play, because Acrobatics only work if you have at least 50% evasion after you grab it.

Another tip is that if you are overwhelmed by things like Corrupted monsters, which are usually more tanky, you can quickly apply Voltaic Mark on one of them and then fire an Explosive Shot. When you kill the monster, it will explode, dealing huge lightning damage and an area effect.

All in all, this Explosive Shot Deadeye Build is one of the most powerful options on a limited budget. You even need less than 2 Divine Orbs to complete it. Of course, you can also equip it with better items to maximize its potential. If you are low on orbs, some of the orbs giveaways launched in IGGM Discord can allow you to refill your inventory for free. So why not give it a try? You have nothing to lose, anyway.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Ancestral Warrior Totem Build: How To Optimize This Melee Totem Build?

    Posted: Jan 23, 2025

How are you, exiles? I believe that most players have had a good experience during the early access of Path of Exile 2, because this new sequel not only retains some popular mechanisms in the original, but also readjusts the overall game difficulty and quality of life functions, so that more players can enjoy the charm of POE series of games here.

Among these changes and reworks, the most concerned must include Melee Totems, especially for some melee builds enthusiasts. Its impact on the build is crucial. Here, we will talk about the changes of Ancestral Warrior Totem in POE 2 and bring a melee build with this as the core. If you just want to enjoy the exciting and gorgeous effects brought to you by the totem effect, then don’t miss it!

    Ancestral Warrior Totem

First of all, Ancestral Warrior Totem is a main skill that can be linked to any eligible Mace skills. Here, we have Stampede Totem and Sunder Totem.

You can then convert everything to fire damage via Avatar of Fire keystone, and scale damage with fire, which is more cost-effective and easier. Since it is in the lower left section of the passive skill tree, it only costs less POE 2 Currency and you can change skills as needed, whether it is Volcanic Fissure, Earthshatter, or even Shockwave Totem.

At the same time, we also tried Titan and Warbringer, and found that Gemling Legionnaire can better make up for the weaknesses of melee builds.

In POE 2, Melee Totems have its weapons, and the way to make a totem weapon more powerful is to upgrade the gem or increase the global damage. Since the skills will consume a lot of mana because of the upgraded gem, Gemling Legionnaire can both reduce the mana cost and increase the gem level as needed. Also, change Blood Magic and Life Regeneration to Mana Flask so that you don’t have problems on maps with reduced mana regeneration.

Another advantage of using Gemling Legionnaire is that you can use skills across classes without being restricted by attributes. This way, you can use skills that support totems even if they require a lot of Int and Dex.

    Build Basics

In this build, we used 2 weapon sets. The dual wielding set as an offensive set, and the mace and shield set as a defensive set. We put all totems in the dual wielding set, which will snapshot our passive offensive skills. At the same time, we switch back to the mace and shield set to support our totems, which have passive skills for support and defense.

    Offense

In terms of offense, as you know, in Path of Exile 2, to get the most out of totems, we need to increase the gem level and increase global damage. We can increase the gem level by:

    • One-handed Mace up to +5
    • Two-handed Mace up to +7
    • Gloves and Amulets will give you +2 and +3
    • +1 from Ascendency

You can corrupt gems with Vaal Orb to get higher skill levels, but it is risky and you may end up with nothing. All in all, you can get to a level 40 Totem.

Then, we will convert all damage to fire damage from the passive skill Avatar of Fire. So in weapons, we need to look for the prefix “Increased Elemental Damage with Attack”, which is a global increase. We can also add Soul Core of Citaqualotl to increase the fixed damage from other parts such as gloves and rings.

In the passive skill tree, we focus on finding nodes that increase Totem Damage, Attack Speed, Area of Effect, and Attack Area Damage, as well as jewel slots with Totem Damage, Fire Damage, or related content.

In this build, Fire Penetration doesn’t do much besides mapping. Because when we face the boss, the boss resistance can already be lower than 0 just by using Curse and Fire Exposure. So when you encounter the boss, just place Solar Orb, cast Flammability under the boss, and channel Incinerate on the boss to help the totem cause more damage. For Curse, if you have to fight a boss that changes position frequently, you can use other auxiliary in addition to Cursed Ground Support.

    Defense

Next, let’s look at the defense mechanism of this build. Since we start from the bottom and have a lot of Evasion or Armour nodes, we equip a hybrid armor that can increase both at the same time, and assign a keystone called Iron Reflexes to convert all Evasion to Armour, providing us with some survival armor.

In addition, at the bottom left of the passive skill tree, there are a few points that can increase the maximum elemental resistance. So if you still have some points, increasing these resistances is a good choice. When combined with gems that increase maximum resistance, you can even increase resistance to 90%, especially for Fire Elementals, which is easier than other elements.

For defensive skills, we use Scavenged Plating, because it has a good synergy with Resonating Shield, which can increase our armor by more than 80%. That’s almost double. In the meantime, Crest of Ardura Shield and Cooldown Recovery Rate in the passive skill tree allow you to quickly get away from danger.

    Gear Selection

Finally, for the equipment selection of this build, you can rest assured that it does not require mandatory unique equipment, which means that it is completely affordable even if you don’t have a big budget. For all starting items, you can use them at a cost of no more than 20 Exalted Orbs each.

The helmets, body armor, gloves, and boots we need are all mixed Str and Dex, which can provide us with Evasion or Armor. The only thing to look for is gloves with +2 for all melee skill levels and amulets with +3 for all melee skill levels.

For weapons, in the offensive set, you look for 2 two-handed maces with a required level of 64 or lower, which have +7 melee skill and increase elemental damage on attack. The reason for looking for level 64 or lower is because they easily convert the stats to Int and Dex, and it costs about 2-3 Divine Orbs. Whereas the ideal mace is one that has both +7 and elemental damage without the conversion requirement, but they are very expensive, about 20+ Divines.

For the defensive set, if you have the spare money, you can find another mace similar to the offensive set. If not, you can also put in a one-handed mace, or use Sceptre to get more Spirit, and try other skills.

For the shield in the defensive set, you can use a rare shield that mixes Str and Dex, or you can just go with Crest of Ardura Jingling Crest Shield to get the movement skills and mana regen rate.

If you have more currency, it’s better to just grab gear with better stats, but if you’re short on money, keep an eye on the giveaway channel in IGGM Discord and be active in the group, you might be able to get some of the items you need for your build!

That’s all you need to know about this Ancestral Warrior Totem build, which has crazy coverage, speed, and DPS to help you eliminate all the non-uber content in POE 2. So, give it a try and enjoy the fun of totems blasting through dense groups of monsters!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Slithering Dead: How To Complete This Quest And Choose The Best Reward?

    Posted: Jan 22, 2025

There are many quests waiting for you to complete in Path of Exile 2. Among them, quests related to the main line or quests that can provide a lot of POE 2 Currency naturally need to be completed first, but if you think these quests are too difficult or just want to relax in the game, then the side quests are also worth exploring - in fact, they sometimes provide you with unexpected small rewards!

This time we are going to introduce you to one of the side quests, Slithering Dead. When you enter POE 2 Act 3, you have a chance to encounter this quest. Based on this, we will provide you with a guide to complete this quest and successfully obtain the relevant rewards.

    What Is Slithering Dead?

As a side quest, the quest plot of Slithering Dead is when you meet Servi, a local guide at Ziggurat camp, she will ask you to help her uncover the secrets of the hostile tribe and the fate of her son Apus as the beginning of the quest.

What may confuse you more than the completion process of this quest is how to choose the final quest reward. Since you can only choose one of the three quest rewards offered by Servi, and this choice is permanent and irreversible, you must treat it carefully to maximize the value of the reward you get.

    How To Complete Slithering Dead?

Once you enter Act 3 or Act 3 on Cruel difficulty, look for the entrance to Venom Crypts in Jungle Ruins map here - it’s next to Jungle Ruins waypoint.

It is worth noting that Jungle Ruins map has two exits, namely Venom Crypts and Infested Barrens. The latter can help you further advance Legacy of the Vaal, one of the main quest lines, while the former is easy to miss because it is not related to the main story. Fortunately, if you do miss Venom Crypts during the game, you still can return here after entering the endgame.

After entering Venom Crypts, you first need to explore the area until you encounter the corpse in Den of the Serpent Priestess. Like all maps in POE 2, this place appears randomly, but it’s usually far from the entrance, so you can focus on searching in that area.

Once you find the corpse, click on it to interact with it, and your character will automatically pick up Corpse-Snake Venom. Then you can directly teleport back to Ziggurat camp and give the venom to the quest giver Servi, and the Slithering Dead quest will be completed.

How To Choose The Best Quest Reward In Different Situations?

Since Slithering Dead is a repetitive side quest, it will appear both in Act 3 and Cruel difficulty Act 3, but the quest rewards are different in each case, so we will introduce them to you separately.

How To Choose The Reward In Act 3?

When you complete the quest and talk to Servi, she will give you 3 venom reward options. You can choose one and drink it to get the relevant buff. This way, when you need these buffs later in the game, you don’t have to resort to other exchange methods, saving yourself POE 2 Chaos Orbs.

The bonuses and their effects are:

    • Venom Draught of Stone: Grants you 25% increased Stun Threshold
    • Venom Draught of the Veil: Grants you 30% increased Elemental Ailment Threshold
    • Venom Draught of Clarity: Grants you 25% increased Mana Regeneration Rate

The safest choice here, and one that works for most POE 2 builds, is undoubtedly Venom Draught of Clarity, which increases mana regeneration by 25%, especially if you are playing melee classes like Monk and Warrior, as these classes will always face the problem of too little mana regeneration at critical moments in combat.

You May Like: Diablo 4 Fans, Would You Give Path Of Exile 2 A Try? - 5 Reasons

The next best choice is Venom Draught of the Veil. It is mainly suitable for Witch and Sorceress, as Elemental Ailment Threshold of the venom can help these classes be less vulnerable to bleed, poison, chill, freeze, ignite, electrocute, or shock type damage caused by enemy attacks.

Finally, the least popular one is Venom Draught of Stone, because Stun Threshold it brings can only protect against damage that causes stun. However, since some Warrior builds are not good at dealing with stun, this venom may be effective for them.

How To Choose The Reward In Act 3 Of Cruel Difficulty?

Here, the venom rewards provided by Slithering Dead are as follows:

    • Venom Draught of the Lost: Adds +10% to Chaos Resistance
    • Venom Draught of the Sky: Adds +5 to All Attributes
    • Venom Draught of the Marshes: Adds 15% Slowing Potency of Debuffs on you

In these three rewards, it is recommended that you directly choose Venom Draught of the Lost, because chaos resistance is more difficult to obtain in Path of Exile 2 than elemental resistances such as fire, thunder and cold, and most gear cannot provide you with enough chaos resistance. Therefore, the 10% increase in chaos resistance of Venom Draught of the Lost is not to be missed.

If you feel that the gains from these venoms are not enough for you, and you want to get more orbs to give your character more good gear, then why not participate in POE 2 giveaway event held by IGGM Discord now! You will share a lot of orbs with other players!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Act 3 Bosses: How Difficult Are They? - Top 6

    Posted: Jan 21, 2025

It’s been over a month since POE 2’s early access launch, so where have you been in the game? If you’re diligent enough, you should have made it to the final act of the early access-Act 3, where you’ll find that the bosses in Act 3 are very difficult.

While some of these bosses are optional and fighting them isn’t necessary to play the game, killing them can bring you generous POE 2 Currency as a reward and help you enter Path of Exile 2 endgame more smoothly. So which Act 3 bosses are more worthy of your challenge? We’ve listed the top 6 for you based on difficulty.

    1. Doryani, Royal Thaumaturge

As the final boss of Act 3, Doryani is also the gatekeeper to Cruel difficulty and the endgame Atlas, so he’s undoubtedly top 1, but this also means it’s going to be difficult if you want to win this battle. To do this, you need to pay attention and learn how to avoid all types of elemental and physical damage from this boss, otherwise even if you have the strongest builds, you are not safe.

One thing you need to pay attention to is that the laser barrage will be fired from the back of the construct carrying Doryani, and the damage it causes is fatal. So when you find it rising and lighting up, remember to move to the other side of the boss immediately, and keep close to the boss while moving in a circle to avoid being hit when the boss rotates.

It is also important to learn how to avoid the AOE slam from the boss. When you find that Doryani disintegrates and floats into the air, you need to run to the edge of the AOE outline when it stops to avoid his attack.

    2. Viper Napuatzi

This is one of the mandatory bosses in the third act. You must defeat her to complete this act. Since she will summon helpers, when facing her, you need to avoid not only her melee poison attacks and elemental AOE attacks but also the poison spears of the soldiers who are constantly approaching around.

Although learning to avoid most damage is the only way to defeat Viper Napuatzi, you will also get a lot of help if you trade with other players through POE 2 Chaos Orbs to get the poison immunity amulet. In addition, the scene of the battle with Viper Napuatzi is very epic and will definitely leave a deep impression on you.

    3. Mektul, The Forgemaster

Mektul is the last optional boss in the third act of POE 2. Compared with the two high-difficulty bosses in the top 2, the biggest feature of the battle with Mektul is the time limit. Specifically, he will release a wave of molten metal at the beginning of the battle to trap you, and you must not only avoid this deadly fire and physical attack, but also cause enough damage to the boss within a limited time to win.

    4. Bahlak, The Skyseer

In fact, this boss is one of the three bosses you will encounter after entering the first Trial of Chaos. It mainly causes damage to you by causing high physical damage and lightning damage, and summoning tornadoes and wind bombs.

In this fight you need to focus on the boss’s two main attacks, both of which are marked by the boss flying into the air: if it flies vertically upwards, it means the boss will dive bomb, and you need to keep moving and dodge the subsequent physical attacks after the boss disappears into the air; if the boss flies forward and flips, it means it will attack you with a gust of wind bombs and claws, then you can hide behind the boss.

    5. Chetza, The Feathered Plague

Chetza is another boss you will encounter in Trial of Chaos. It is a monster that looks like a crow. If you are hit by its attacks, you will not only suffer high physical damage and bleeding damage, but you may also be disabled, causing your movement speed to drop significantly.

Without a doubt, the slowed movement speed is the most annoying damage effect of Chetza, because it makes you more vulnerable to multiple hits from the boss, so it is recommended that you exchange some amulets with high movement speed and bleeding immunity from other players by Chaos Orbs in advance. Although this fight may be difficult, it is worth it because you will gain some Ascendancy skill points later.

    6. Uxmal, The Beastlord

This boss is the last of the three bosses in Trial of Chaos. As an optional challenge, it is also the way to gain your second set of Ascendancy passive skill points. By now, I believe you should have noticed the importance of Trial of Chaos and how difficult it is.

In terms of appearance and attack methods, Uxmal is very similar to Xyclucian, another boss in Act 3. They both attack you through all elements, poisons and physical damage, but the special arena setting will make Uxmal more difficult.

First of all, Uxmal will fly into the air regularly, interrupting the attack path you may have planned, forcing you to reposition. In addition, it can also spread extremely destructive ground effects based on the narrow paths and connecting stairs of the arena, making it difficult for you to navigate the arena. However, if you can overcome these challenges, you may obtain some corrupted Vaal loot after winning the battle, as well as the second set of Ascendancy skill points.

Although we have provided some guides for dealing with these tough bosses, you may still encounter obstacles, so in order to complete Path of Exile 2 Act 3 more smoothly, you must also regularly upgrade your gear. At this time, you may be in urgent need of more orbs, and the fourth 2025 POE 2 giveaway on IGGM Discord should help you!

  • Path Of Exile 2 (6 Monk Builds Skill Gems): How Do They Work In Battle?

    Posted: Jan 20, 2025

There are currently six classes available in POE 2, some suitable for melee and some for ranged. Among all melee classes, Monk has won the favor of many melee players with its powerful CC and amazingly high DPS, and it is completely worth choosing it as a melee enthusiast.

Of course, after choosing Monk as your class, you also need to build and use some good builds around Monk to make it work in battle, and the creation of builds is inseparable from the selection and matching of skills or skill gems. Therefore, we will introduce you to 6 skill gems suitable which can form good Monk builds.

    1. Falling Thunder

Although the actual use of this skill is a bit complicated, the effect it brings is also very impressive. When you use it in the early stage of the battle, you can output basic damage by jumping up and slamming the long stick in a very small range, but if you gradually accumulate enough energy to charge, this slam will further generate a lightning shock wave that can spread far, thereby expanding the damage value.

So in the early stages, it is recommended that you use Killing Palm to obtain energy charges from low-health enemies, and then make appropriate investments through continuous energy charges, so that Falling Thunder can help you clear large groups of enemies with one easy move and obtain more POE 2 Currency from enemies at one time.

    2. Storm Wave

Although Monk is a melee class, it is sometimes necessary to equip some ranged skills in builds. The current ranged skill gems available for Monk in POE 2 are Storm Wave and Glacial Cascade.

Among them, Glacial Cascade is suitable for hitting single targets, while Storm Wave can help you better control the crowd in battle with the help of auxiliary gems such as Upheavel.

    3. Flicker Strike

When Flicker Strike allows you to flash from one target to another at an amazing speed and deal amazing damage to them, you will know how cool this skill is, and Flicker Strike can even clear large groups of enemies with just one activation.

However, it should be noted that Flicker Strike also requires a lot of energy to use, and the more the better. Fortunately, you can continue to gain energy by combining Flicker Strike with various other different skills. For example, combining it with Momentum will allow you to do more damage the further you move while the skill is active, and combining it with Perpetual Charge will give the skill a certain chance to retain its energy after activation.

    4. Hand Of Chayula

Of all Monk skills, Hand of Chayula can be said to be indispensable to help you get through the endgame stage smoothly, because it can easily defeat most ultimate bosses. Of course, this does not mean that other Monk skills are useless against powerful bosses, but that Hand of Chayula can make your boss’ battles easier.

After casting this skill, you can insert curse skills and marks on a single target, causing him to be affected by multiple debuffs at once, and you can weaken a single target with a single move. If you are an Ice Strike Monk, Hypothermia, Freezing Mark, and Enfeeble among these debuffs will be very useful.

    5. Tempest Flurry

Skill gems in Path of Exile 2 actually come in different tiers, and once you start getting level 5 Monk skill gems, you’ll notice that your combat experience will be greatly improved, as level 5 skill gems include the best Monk DPS skill gems, Tempest Flurry.

This skill replaces the basic Monk staff attack, increasing your attack speed by infusing lightning into your staff while causing shock to enemies, which is actually a more effective form of DPS attack. In addition, if you have enough POE 2 Exalted Orbs, you can consume it to make your staff itself more powerful, or let auxiliary gems such as Martial Tempo and Primal Armament work with Tempest Flurry to improve combat efficiency.

    6. Ice Strike

Like Tempest Flurry, this is also a level 5 skill gem, and based on its actual combat performance, the vast majority of POE 2 players think it is the better choice. Although Ice Strike takes effect a bit slower than Tempest Flurry, it deals with more powerful frost damage and freezes enemies for a few seconds, during which they cannot move or attack you, allowing you to take them out in one fell swoop.

In addition, Ice Strike is an essential part of Double Herald Build, one of the most powerful Monk builds. With this build, you can quickly clear groups of enemies in seconds by combining Ice and Thunder with Ice Strike.

In addition to the above information related to the specific game content of Path of Exile 2, we recommend that you pay attention to and participate in POE 2 Currency giveaway event in IGGM Discord! You will share many different types of orbs with other players, helping you trade with others more smoothly in the game or making your gear more powerful! Don’t miss this opportunity!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Mysterious Shade Quest Guide: How To Complete This Quest Fast?

    Posted: Jan 18, 2025

Mysterious Shade is the third quest we have to do in Path of Exile 2 Act 1. This interesting quest takes you to a graveyard to collect some keys. In this guide, we will cover how to collect two keys and defeat three separate bosses with similar mechanics to complete this quest. If you are still stuck on this quest, then don’t miss this guide!

    How To Start?

First, let’s see where to start this quest. You can get this quest after completing Secrets in the Dark quest or discovering Grim Tangle in Grelwood.

Note that you must complete Secrets in the Dark quest, otherwise the tree roots will block your path and you will not be able to proceed.

    Secrets In The Dark Quest

To start Secrets in the Dark quest, talk to Una in Clearfell Encampment. You will then need to explore Clearfell until you reach the entrance to Grelwood. The exact location varies per instance, so you’ll need to explore and find it on your own. There’s no predefined method.

    Entering Red Vale

Once you’re in Grelwood, you’ll need to find a tree with three glowing runes at its roots, then summon Una and she’ll send you to Red Vale. Again, you’ll need to explore Grelwood to find the entrance. You can also kill Forgotten Witch and Brambleghast for some extra POE 2 Currency and loot.

    Finding Obelisks Of Rust

In Red Vale, you’ll need to find these structures called Obelisks of Rust, interact with them, and clear the monsters that spawn after the interaction. After clearing them, be sure to loot the green items that drop. Repeat the above steps for the second Obelisk as well. However, at the third Obelisk, you’ll need to defeat the Rust King instead of a normal monster. So be prepared ahead of time.

    Defeating Rust King

Since Rust King is vulnerable to lightning damage, it’s best to prioritize using lightning attacks if you have any. I must say, don’t skimp on your Chaos Orbs, using them to scale your lightning damage stat as much as possible can help you kill Rust King as quickly as possible. It’s definitely worth it.

Rust King’s attack pattern is pretty simple. First, he’ll create some spikes around him that will shoot out 360 degrees in all directions. You can avoid them by simply placing yourself between two spikes, though.

Then, he’ll raise his axes high and smash them in front of him, while you can duck behind him and sneakily deal some damage.

His last move is to summon an army and smash his weapons. If you’re a melee character, you can keep them close to the boss and clean them out while you attack the boss. If you’re a ranged character, you can lure them out of the area a bit and get some cover from the boss while you clean them out.

Once everything is done, grab the green item that the boss drops and open the portal to Clearfell Encampment, interact with Renly. He’ll give you some spikes and use Waypoint to return to Grelwood. Then pierce each rune with the spikes given by Renly, interact with Una, and return to Clearfell. You will then have completed Secrets in the Dark quest!

    Mysterious Shade Quest

Once you have completed the above quest, you can officially begin your Mysterious Shade quest. Head to Grim Tangle, which you can find through Waypoints, or while exploring Grelwood. As mentioned before, the map is always random, so the map described here will not be the same as yours.

    Draven

Una will help you clear the roots, and now your goal becomes to continue through Grim Tangle. This means you need to explore Grim Tangle until you find the exit to Cemetery of the Eternals.

Find that exit, then talk to Lachlann the Lost, who will let you find two keys in two different Mausoleums.

Explore the cemetery until you find the first one. In this instance, our first key is found in Mausoleum of the Praetor. Here you need to find the boss room, the center of Mausoleum, where you will fight Draven.

Draven’s main mechanic is that he attracts those little green ghosts, and when he attracts three of them, he gains power. To stop them, you just have to step on them. It is worth noting that in addition to his basic attack, he will also send out a barrage of projectiles, so dodge them in time.

In phase 2 of the battle, he will summon his girlfriend Asinia to help him. She will draw some circles on the ground, and the player will be damaged shortly after entering the circles. So when you see Asinia, start moving around to avoid the circles.

After defeating Draven, grab Memorial Key and use the portal that appears in the boss’ room to go to the cemetery.

Then explore the cemetery until you find the second tomb. Here we will encounter Tomb of the Consort. Go in, repeat the above steps, and explore until you find the boss room, marked as Heart of the Tomb on the map.

    Asinia

This time, you’ll fight Asinia, the Praetor’s Consort. The same ghost mechanics work here, too, with Asinia also attracting green ghosts and gaining power, and again, you can stop them by simply stepping on them.

In the first phase of the fight, she mainly does melee attacks and summons circles on the ground. Then in the second phase, she summons Draven to help her, who fires a barrage of projectiles when he appears, so dodge in time.

Then you need to watch out for her two attacks. The first is when she puts her hand over her chest and bow and then sends out a barrage that deals a lot of damage, and the second is when she launches an attack on a cage. When she puts the cage down, break it with your attack and then walk away, or dodge it because there will be a barrage soon after. After defeating her, take her key and return to the graveyard to talk to Lachlann.

    Lachlann

Open the gate, and then you’ll start the final boss fight of this quest, defeat Lachlann.

Firstly, don’t stand behind the boss at first, because he will slam his weapon in front and then slam it in the back, which can do quite a bit of damage. Then another attack he does with his weapon is a wide swing, which is pretty easy to dodge, though.

He has two main Souls attacks. First, a giant green circle appears on the ground where he summons souls and then shoots them straight at you, which is also pretty easy to dodge. Then, the hardest to dodge is when he extends his arm out in front, then brings souls out of the ground and then quickly drops towards you. You’ll need to time this well to dodge. What’s more, the souls will also leave frost trails behind them, so when the big green circle appears, be sure to position yourself carefully so that the frost trails don’t get in your way.

After defeating Lachlann, you can get Count Lachlann’s Ring and a bunch of loot, and this ring is a necessary quest item that you need to complete Mysterious Shade quest.

Anyway, that’s it for this Mysterious Shade quest guide. Hopefully, these tips will help you get through all the boss levels more smoothly. However, I must remind you that it is essential to prepare some suitable equipment and items before starting the mission. • Path Of Exile 2 Patch 0.1.1 Update Revealed: What Issues Are Fixed?

    Posted: Jan 18, 2025

Exiles, I believe you have had a great time during the early access release of Path of Exile 2, but this does not mean that POE 2 is problem-free. Fortunately, GGG is always actively listening to player feedback and looking for solutions. Recently, Path of Exile 2 released Patch 0.1.1, which aims to solve some problems that can be solved relatively quickly without creating a new league or a new economy immediately.

Here, we will discuss some of the issues that have been discovered in POE 2 and the measures the developers plan to take in Patch 0.1.1. It’s worth emphasizing that if you find a particular issue is not on this list, it doesn’t mean that GGG is not aware of it or that it won’t be fixed, it just means that they either can’t fix it quickly or can’t fix it without the need for a new economy. So we just need to wait and let time solve all the problems.

    Map Basic Experience Improvements

First of all, one of the main areas that needs a lot of attention is the map basic experience, and the developers have made a lot of changes here.

    Endgame Balance

It is worth mentioning that the number of monsters, chests, magic and rare monsters, Essences, Strongboxes and Precursor Artifacts in endgame maps have been balanced. With these adjustments, you should find that map farming is more valuable than before, because maps are usually focused on one or more particularly valuable elements. So you can farm POE 2 Currency in a targeted way without wasting more time getting a bunch of useless items.

    Added Tower Map

Now, Towers are very important for players because we need to run a lot, but there is only one Tower map at present, which makes many mechanisms for this useless.

Shortly after Early Access was released, many players gave feedback that they hope to add more changes here as soon as possible, so Patch 0.1.1 added four Tower maps: Alpine Ridge, Bluff, Mesa, and Sinking Spire.

    Lost Towers Map Rework

In addition, the developers have reworked the existing Lost Towers Map to make playing there less boring. At the same time, since some maps cannot spawn bosses, the probability of loot drops is much lower than we expected at the beginning. Therefore, they chose to compensate for this problem by increasing the drop probability so that they can get the actual expected probability. Then, the developers also added a new type of Tablet that allows you to add bosses to your map using your own mod pool.

    Strongboxes Changes

Of course, Strongboxes also need some attention. They now spawn monsters faster, the fog effect is less annoying, and the timing and effects of the mods have also been changed. Players can get a better gaming experience here.

    Adjusting Effect Visibility

Now, let’s talk about the visibility of effects. Because many maps are too cluttered, the effects on the ground cannot be rendered, and you can’t see and dodge them in time. For these reasons, the developers have changed both the clutter level of some maps and some effects to ensure that they are always visible.

In addition, the visibility of elemental explosion effects has been improved, and they will last longer before exploding. If rare monsters die, they will disappear without exploding. What’s more, Volatile Plants are also easier to see before exploding.

They have also now increased the zoom level of Atlas and fixed various terrain collision issues on many maps. They have also shortened the loading time for opening World Map and Atlas panel to show the map’s biome on hover. For other in-game content systems, there is a greater focus on making all rewards consistent with what they should be.

    Endgame Fixes

For Delirium, the developers recently fixed a bug that caused Delirium monster to not spawn after the opening section. Additionally, Simulacrum will now appear 20% less often to make it more consistent with the pace of finding Expedition and Ritual bosses.

For Ritual, Omens now appear 60% more often in Ritual Tribute window. For Expedition, the rarity of items in the store has been increased, but we hope that GGG will make some more substantial changes to the rewards for this league later.

    Improved Pinnacle Bosses Experience

Right now, one of the main issues we still see regularly is that it takes too long to play through the Pinnacle Bosses content, and when you finally get there, you only have one attempt and no chance to get to know the boss.

To address these issues, the developers have made the following changes:

First, Citadel spawn points are closer to the center of Atlas, and they’ve also added an effect so that you can see them from farther away in the fog of war. This makes them easier to find.

To address the issue of only having one attempt, you can now get up to six respawns on Arbiter of Ash. However, respawns can only be triggered by the person who puts the key in, and everyone in your squad will respawn at the same time. Note that leaving the map will still lose your respawns, so you still need to fight the boss with the build you entered the map with.

Although the higher the difficulty of the boss, the fewer times you will respawn, but by then you should know the mechanics of the fight.

Another thing that players noticed was that there were fewer keys from Faradun Citadel on the market, and they thought it was because Citadel spawned less frequently. But it turns out that this was just because this boss killed players more often than other bosses. Still, the developers made some changes to this boss to bring it in line with other bosses.

    Unique Item Buffs

On the other hand, it has to be said that many unique items in POE 2 feel unsatisfactory. Although unique items are generally designed to enable builds at high levels, they really need to ensure that more unique items also feel powerful when players first get them at low levels.

For this reason, GGG has buffed a lot of unique items in this patch. These changes should make it more fun to find POE 2 unique items at low levels. More importantly, subsequent games will also be more fun when you have some great unique items available.

In addition to this, the developers also changed a few other things to make it easier to find rare items at high levels. Not only did they slightly change the mod weights to ensure that there are fewer bad mods, but they also made it so that high-level items no longer cull the highest level modifiers for a given mod type. This means you no longer have to invest in more Exalted Orbs to re-roll modifiers to own a splendid piece of gear.

    Boss Difficulty Adjustments

Now, as we continue to play, we still find many balance anomalies with specific monsters or bosses that can be annoying if you encounter them. Don’t fret now, because Patch 0.1.1 contains adjustments to a large number of these monsters and bosses. These changes should solve many cases where monsters or bosses feel too difficult in certain situations.

    Item Filter System

One big issue for console players is that the web-based item filter system is currently not working properly. This means they can’t use item filters like PC users can. However, in Patch 0.1.1, the same item filter system as Path of Exile 1 will be activated again, which allows you to subscribe to item filters on the website.

    Other Fixes

Of course, this patch also contains many other smaller changes and bug fixes, such as strengthening armor and Scavenged Plating, showing the number of uses left on an amulet and the effect when it is triggered, fixing the music that Una plays in town, and many other small fixes and improvements throughout the game.

While these fixes won’t solve all the problems, and it will take some time, GGG still hasn’t given up on finding things that cause frustration and trying to fix them. Hopefully, they’ll do more of this in the future, and look forward to the full release of Path of Exile 2 giving us a better gaming experience!

While waiting for the full release of POE 2, we need to be prepared for it, whether it’s completing a top-level build that suits our play style or preparing a lot of rare resources. If this is the case for you, then you might as well enter IGGM Discord, where there are often giveaways that allow you to get some great rare items for free. As long as you’re active here, lucky opportunities will always come to you.

  • Path Of Exile 2 (5 Best Witch Minions): Which Ones Should You Choose?

    Posted: Jan 16, 2025

There are currently 6 classes available for you to choose and experience in POE 2 Early Access. Each of them has its own unique characteristics, and the way the available skills work is also very different. If you like to summon something to help you in battle, then Witch may be the best POE 2 class for you.

Path of Exile 2 provides Witch with a combat ability similar to that of a necromancer, allowing you to not only use many elemental and chaotic spells when playing this class but also summon the dead as minions to fight for you. With this help, you will farm POE 2 Currency more efficiently, so that you can strengthen your equipment in time before entering the endgame and calmly deal with more difficult game content.

However, after choosing to play POE 2 Witch, whether you want to play the role of a commander on the battlefield or cast spells and cause damage to the enemy by using spells, minions are an important part of your equipment. Only by bringing the most suitable minions based on your combat habits and other foundations can you achieve victory more easily.

Based on this, we will introduce you to the 5 most useful Witch minions in POE 2.

    1. Skeletal Brute

This is a relatively large minion in terms of size. He can cause a lot of damage to the enemy with melee attacks, and can further cause tremendous damage to the enemy within the effect range while stunning the enemy by creating a shock wave.

However, along with the above advantages, summoning Skeletal Brute requires more spirit than other summons. This means that although it is a minion with an excellent tank and damage output capabilities, it is not completely worth your priority because of the excessive spirit required.

The best way to use this minion in Path of Exile 2 at present is to combine it with several ranged and magic minions to create a special build. In addition, although Skeletal Brute shows good lethality, it seems a bit weak when you enter the late stage of the game. Fortunately, if you can provide it with enough spirit, it is still very useful in the early stage.

    2. Skeletal Reaver

As an upgraded version of Skeletal Warrior, since Skeletal Reaver is easier to obtain in the early stages of POE 2, you may tend to use it frequently in the early stages. In addition, although Skeletal Warrior can withstand more attacks from the enemy, Skeletal Reaver requires fewer summoning materials and can also cause more continuous damage.

It is worth noting that this minion can also be angry. During this period, although it loses health points every second, the damage it causes to the enemy is greatly increased. In order to make full use of this feature, it is recommended that you use it in combination with Skeletal Cleric, so that you can cause greater damage through Skeletal Reaver while letting Cleric continue to heal it, so that you and these minions can survive smoothly until the end of the battle.

    3. Skeletal Frost Mage

As you know, the characteristics of Witch class are to combine spell-casting and summoning the army of the undead. If you want to play these two advantages in battle, the appearance of Skeletal Frost Mage minion may do this.

After summoning an army of mages and casting spells for them, the Skeletal Frost Mage can fire ice bombs at enemies for you, which can not only cause considerable area damage but also slow down enemies by applying cold to them, reducing the possibility of them getting close to you to hit you.

However, you need to be aware that Skeletal Frost Mage is more suitable for supporting roles in combat rather than being used as a primary damage dealer. The best way to use it is to use a powerful melee unit such as Skeletal Brute or Skeletal Reaver to attract the enemy’s attention, and then let Skeletal Frost Mage’s ranged ability provide them with damage bonuses.

    4. Skeletal Cleric

Like Skeletal Frost Mage, this is also a minion suitable for playing a supporting role. Skeletal Cleric cannot cause damage to the enemy and may not seem powerful, but it can heal and even revive other minions for you, allowing other more powerful minions to last longer in combat, which is very useful for challenging higher-level POE 2 content.

In addition, although summoning Skeletal Cleric does not require you to consume too much spirit, the fact is that running many Clerics at the same time is not entirely conducive to your dominance. The best way to use this minion at present is to add it to your existing builds and mix melee and ranged units for support.

    5. Skeletal Arsonist

As a minion that can be unlocked by you early in the game, you will fully feel their power when you first experience the game plot. In specific battles, Skeletal Arsonist mainly causes area damage to enemies by throwing bombs or exploding other minions nearby.

If you can summon other minions as allies for Skeletal Arsonist besides making your gear get more spell power by consuming POE 2 Regal Orbs, then Skeletal Arsonist can play a role beyond your imagination. For example, if you combine it with Skeletal Cleric, you can form a cycle between continuous detonation and revival of minions, so that you can always make enemies be killed by explosions. However, it should be noted that this method may not work well when there are too many enemies.
