  • Path Of Exile 2 Acrobatics And Meta Skills: How Do They Work?

    Posted: Feb 10, 2025

To give you more benefits and help you defeat enemies more efficiently in battle, Path of Exile 2 brings many special mechanics. They usually work in different forms, but the common point is that you must understand how they work in advance to use them better.

The two POE 2 mechanics we are going to introduce to you this time are Acrobatics and meta skills. You can think of them as the skill, the difference is that the former is a Keystone passive skill, and the latter is a special skill gem.

    What Is Acrobatics?

In POE 2, when facing attacks from enemies, you can only rely on three defensive attributes to protect yourself successfully, namely evasion, armor, and energy shield. And each build in the game will combine these three attributes based on consuming enough POE 2 Currency, to protect you from attacks and avoid death in different ways.

Based on this, you will find that Acrobatics, as a Keystone passive skill in the passive skill tree, can allow you to dodge almost all attacks, which is very useful.

    Acrobatics Working Principle

By default, evasion protects you from Strikes and Projectiles from enemies. Strikes are direct hits to your character, and Projectiles are attacks or spells that cause effects on the target, such as a poison with a yellow trail. Evasion gives you a chance to dodge these attacks by a certain percentage.

But Acrobatics can take evasion a step further. For example, it can give your character a chance to dodge not only Strikes and Projectiles but also any damage that counts as a hit - in fact, hits account for 90% of all damage that can be dealt in POE 2, except for damage over time or DOT.

Another main reason to recommend you to choose Acrobatics is that it can prevent you from being killed by random slams or AOE attacks from bosses and monsters, which can sometimes be very deadly in the endgame because neither evasion nor armor can protect you from them. But with Acrobatics, you can do this with evasion.

The current evasion cap in the game is 95%, and if you have the right passive skills and high evasion gear, you can reach this cap with Acrobatics activated. However, this does not mean that you will evade 95% of the hits, it just means that you have a 95% chance of evading the first hit you receive, and then the chance of evading the second hit you receive will decrease slightly, and then decrease in sequence.

    When To Use Acrobatics?

Acrobatics can only be used when you can make up for the 70% evasion loss and get at least 80% evasion score with Acrobatics activated. To do this, you not only need to increase the passive skill points of evasion but also have to exchange POE 2 Exalted Orbs for some high evasion gear.

    What Are Meta Skills?

Meta Skills are actually special skill gems that can trigger the corresponding effects when you socket it with other skill gems in the support gem slot and meet its energy requirements.

It is worth noting that all meta gems need to be socketed with at least one skill gem to be triggered. Currently, you can identify if a gem is a meta gem by checking the “Meta” tag below the name of the skill gem.

    Meta Skills Working Principle

Most meta gems require enough energy to trigger their special effects, and energy can only be generated by repeatedly performing specific actions. As a special Path of Exile 2 resource, energy is actually used specifically to trigger the effects of meta gems and activate their socketed skills.

For example, if you cast a meta skill while freezing an enemy, you will not only gain energy but also automatically trigger the corresponding socketed skill of the meta gem when you reach 100 energy. So if you want to make a basic build with this mechanic, you need to freeze as many times as possible to trigger the relevant skills constantly.

With the exception of Hand of Chayula and Ancestral Warrior Totem, all meta gems require at least 60 Spirit Reservation to work, and this resource can be collected through permanent rewards in the campaign, amulets, body armor, and spirit modifiers on scepters.

How To Collect Energy For Meta Skills?

There are currently four ways to increase the rate at which your meta skills gain energy in POE 2, and they are as follows:

    • Inlay Impetus Support Gem: This will give your meta skill gems a 40% energy gain, but you can only have one Impetus Support Gem at a time.
    • Increase Gem Quality: When you use Gemcutter’s Prism on certain meta gems, you can increase their energy absorption rate by 20%, thereby improving the quality of the gem and its usability in combat.
    • Unlock relevant Passive Skill Tree Points: There are some passive skill points in the skill tree that can increase the effectiveness of triggered meta skills, including energy gains, after being unlocked.
    • Sapphire Jewels: This jewelry can give your meta skills better suffixes by rolling properties. If you don’t have Sapphire Jewels, you can exchange them by orbs on the trading website.

You should have discovered that in order for the above two mechanisms to work better, you need to have enough POE 2 orbs, so hurry up and join the sixth 2025 POE 2 giveaway in IGGM Discord, which has not yet ended! You will have a chance to receive 250 Orbs of Chance & 150 Orbs of Annulment & 25 Divine Orbs!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Pushy Mechanic Improvements: How To Optimize This Awful Mechanic?

    Posted: Feb 08, 2025

If you are an old player of Path of Exile, you know that GGG showed the relevant content of POE 2 as early as ExileCon 2023. Among them, Pushy Mechanic that debuted at the event attracted a lot of players’ attention. It looks very cool, but after playing for a while after Early Access release, you will find that the performance of this new mechanism is really unsatisfactory! We can even say that it is one of the worst systems in PoE 2 at present, because it makes melee worse than it is now.

    Pushy Mechanic

Now, Pushy mechanic is a system in Path of Exile 2, which basically allows one entity to push another entity and change their position.

At ExileCon, when the developers talked about this issue, they basically described it as each of these entities. For example, your character and monsters will have different push values, and it’s usually based on the actual size of the entity, so bigger monsters will be able to roll or move towards you and push you out of the way, while smaller monsters shouldn’t have that effect on you. At the same time, the player character should also be able to push things that are smaller than them out of the way.

But we actually saw in a patch released right after Path of Exile 2 was released that GGG improved Dodge Roll so that you can push smaller monsters out of the way more easily, because Pushy mechanic is not working properly right now.

    Screen Desync

In my opinion, Pushy mechanic is currently the worst mechanic in the game, especially it feels terrible to interact with it.

Honestly, it doesn’t feel like a specific mechanic that was deliberately positioned in the game to provide this Pushy system. On the contrary, it actually feels like a glitch, it feels like a bug. Because every time it happens, our character will be out of sync, you will even feel like you have a connection problem and completely lose control of your character. Then after a second or half a second, the screen will return to the center of the character, and then we will be in a different position.

From a player’s perspective, there’s no animation or feedback to indicate how the character is being pushed, or which direction they’re being pushed in, they’re just being thrown around. The out-of-sync screen makes them not only unable to deal with enemies normally and pick up POE 2 Currency, but they are even at risk of being killed by the boss. As a result, it feels terrible to interact with it, and it’s undoubtedly the worst mechanic in the game.

    Pulls Down The Melee Experience

Now one thing that makes this problem worse is that it’s even worse when you’re playing a melee character, especially a mace character. Because mace swings very slowly, and you’re usually placed close to monsters to launch these slow swing attacks, which means you’re the most vulnerable to being pushed around. Imagine when you’re just standing there, casting Sunder or doing a Rolling Slam, and suddenly you’re pushed across the screen. It’s a bit awkward.

We all know that GGG is committed to making POE 2 the savior of melee combat, you know it’s destined to improve melee combat, and they’re aiming to be much better than POE 1. Because in POE 1, they didn’t have the systems and infrastructure to make melee combat really good, so in POE 2, all these new systems and new things were started from scratch.

And Pushy mechanic, as one of the systems they implemented, this forced mechanism completely deprives melee combat of its power. It doesn’t add anything to melee combat, it just makes you constantly pushed and bullied by monsters, which is terrible!

If you are also in this situation and want to seek a breakthrough, then it is recommended that you enter the giveaway channel in IGGM Discord. The large number of giveaways provided here will allow you to optimize your inventory as soon as possible and greatly improve your character's melee ability.

    How To Fix This Mechanic?

So, at this point, I think this mechanic is in desperate need of fixing. Here we will outline a few things GGG can do to fix this mechanic.

    1. Try To Remove It

First, we are going to remove it now. Of course, this is probably the worst idea on this list, and removing this mechanic may not even be possible. Maybe it is completely hard-coded in Path of Exile, including all the moving animations and things like that.

We don’t know how important this mechanic is to the system working in terms of game development or something like that, and whether it can be removed. But I can definitely say that if we read the 0.2.0 patch notes and found out that the entire Pushy mechanic has been completely removed from the game, many people wouldn’t care too much.

    2. Improve Mechanic Bugs

But honestly, I think it’s unlikely that it will be completely removed, so the next step is to improve this mechanic. Pushy system actually has a lot of bugs and issues. It’s not just because the system itself doesn’t capture the entire area they’re after, but because it has many bugs in itself. For example, Rolling Slam completely breaks down when you’re being pushed.

What happens with Rolling Slam is that during the animation, if a monster pushes you, you’re pushed in the direction of that monster. But the game’s entire camera angle doesn’t capture the center of the character during the animation, so you move to one side of the screen. Then, once your animation is over, the game immediately repositions you to the center of the screen, which makes you feel like you’re tied up by a rubber band or disconnected from the outside world at that moment.

So if bugs like this were completely eliminated, it would be an enormous improvement and a good direction to go in to fix this mechanic.

    3. Add A New Stat

Next, adding a stat for counter-pushing would also be a really good idea, and this could be something as simple as putting it in Strength area of the skill tree. For example, it would make the most sense to put this stat in other places in the tree. As we mentioned before, Pushy system is a really big problem for characters that use mace. So it makes sense to put this stat around the mace part of the tree where Strength area is.

Also, they could have added a stat that increases Stun Threshold. When you’re really getting pushed by a monster, the higher your threshold, the bigger the monster needs to be to push you away. With this, you could definitely increase your resistance by constantly rolling the stat with Chaos Orbs, instead of just being slammed into a wall like a rag doll!

So, something like this that can actually prevent you from getting pushed or at least limit the number of times you get pushed would be a really pleasant change.

    4. Improve Character Pushing

The next thing is to improve character pushing. This is actually related to monsters, so now they’ve kind of changed this thing up.

As we mentioned before, when Path of Exile 2 was released, they put in a patch that improved the way to push small monsters with Dodge Roll. But there are actually some problems with this.

Because it’s not just about Dodge Roll, it’s very awkward to be physically blocked by these very small monsters when you’re moving around as a character. And when monsters are three or four times bigger than you, they can easily push you out of the way, but you should also be able to push them out of the way in other ways, which should be a reasonable feature in the game.

    5. Improve Object Paths

Finally, for this mechanic, GGG needs to improve object pathing. There are often some terrain issues and things like that in the game that will immediately prevent you from using movement abilities, which results in you being immediately stuck on a small piece of terrain that you can’t even see.

What ends up happening? That’s when monsters are near you, especially when they’re right next to you when you try to use the skill. They may push you a little bit, and eventually you will be off from where you want to go, and then your Dodge Roll will be immediately blocked and stopped.

What’s more important is that once skills are used, if they have a cooldown, they will go on cooldown. This means you’re stuck with your hands tied.

So improving object pathing is a good idea, just remove some small objects so they don’t get in the way.

Since we’re on the subject, I think having more open map layouts actually improves this as well, because there’s nothing worse than being stuck in a corridor. Like a very narrow corridor where you’re completely trapped by monsters and they’re pushing you around and you can’t basically move and you’re just constantly getting tangled up.

These are just some of my thoughts on how I think they could fix the issues with Pushy system. I have to say, this Pushy mechanic is in desperate need of improvement. If you’ve played Path of Exile 2 for a while, you’ll have interacted with this mechanic. But it’s especially noticeable when you start playing as a Warrior and use mace early in the game, you’ll notice yourself getting pushed all over the place. So hopefully GGG hears player feedback soon, and let’s look forward to seeing changes in the next update!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Best Class Combinations: Which Is Suitable For You And Your Friends To Play Co-op In Early Access?

    Posted: Feb 07, 2025

While all the classes in Path of Exile 2 Early Access were originally designed for solo exploration, since the addition of couch co-op to this overhauled sequel, more players are exploring the benefits of teamwork and exploring the game more conveniently.

Because of the different ways in which different player abilities, buffs, and ailments interact, co-op makes exploration easier, even with increased enemy health or enhanced combat mechanics. Co-op currently supports up to 6 players, which allows for multiple different classes and builds to be combined for co-op play.

According to feedback from many current player communities and social media, the most popular combination is 2-player. So this guide will introduce you to some of the two-class combinations that are most suitable for co-op play based on the current properties and stats of the classes, so that you and your friends can have a very smooth and enjoyable exploration!

    1. Witch & Warrior

When you explore in POE 2, you will definitely think about whether to choose a Class that focuses on very exciting melee combat or a Class that focuses on ranged attacks with spell damage, which will determine your exploration style in this game.

Now, in cooperative games, you can put it in a battle: Warrior can confront the enemy head-on, while Witch can provide very effective help by casting minions, enemy debuffs, and ally support skills.

Although it is often recommended to place some gear that can increase the spell damage or physical damage of minions in Witch build in regular single-player exploration, it is the opposite in this cooperative combination. You should invest more POE 2 Exalted Orbs in those Witch support skills, especially those skills that can bring ally buffs to your team.

    2. Warrior & Sorceress

Since Sorceress and Witch are two classes that split from one class in the original game, it is also a highly complementary cooperation combination with Warrior, but the specific effectiveness still depends on the build used by Sorceress.

For example, a Sorceress build that focuses on lightning damage will cause shock in battle and make these enemies more vulnerable to all melee attacks cast by Warrior, while a Sorceress build that focuses on cold damage can freeze enemies in the arena, making it easier for Warrior to cause higher damage to these controlled enemies and gain some damage reduction from them.

As for Warrior, it can use its melee ability to attract hatred from the boss or enemies to help all Sorceress skills be in effective range. At the same time, it can also cause high stun damage to the enemy, making the attacked enemy bear more elemental damage from Sorceress.

    3. Monk & Ranger

This may surprise you when you see this Classes combination, because they should belong to the same play style in the player’s impression, but in fact they also have super synergy because they can both focus on lightning damage, cold damage, or both.

This means that if you and your friends use this highly similar build in exploration and release the same elemental effects in combat, the elemental ailments of this element will be triggered faster, making your builds have devastating crowd control and damage potential when combined.

In addition, Ranger, who is good at shooting skills such as Snipe, can also cooperate with Monk because it can use Tempest Bell Skill to trigger higher shooting accuracy and amplify the damage of such skills. Generally speaking, this cooperation combination will be very suitable for farming POE 2 Currency and Uniques because the casting speed of damaging skills will be very fast.

    4. Mercenary & Sorceress

Similar to the previous combination, since both classes in POE 2 emphasize long-range attack capabilities and need to keep a certain distance from the enemy, players generally think that this combination is counterintuitive, but as long as you choose the right build for it, you will be very surprised.

Among the many choices, Sorceress build that focuses on cold damage can be perfectly combined with a Mercenary build that uses Fragmentation Rounds: the latter will consume the former’s freezing of the enemy and detonate ice crystals to cause more devastating damage.

What’s more, Mercenary’s Oil Grenade also greatly increases the ignite damage spread by Sorceress when using Flame Wall-boosted projectiles by causing fire exposure to the enemy. Not only that, Sorceress’s skills that can cause crowd control will also effectively help Mercenary easily hit the enemy with grenades in combat.

The above are some of the best Classes combinations for two-player cooperative exploration in the current POE 2 Early Access. It should be reminded that the recommendations here are for reference only, because this nearly perfect sequel provides players with a lot of freedom, in which you can try different builds or combinations so that you can find the one that suits you best.

If you encounter slow or stagnant situations in the exploration process of the game because of the lack of currency or items, it is strongly recommended that you enter the giveaway channel in IGGM Discord to enrich all your inventory and save you from this pain. I wish you a happy game!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Damage Conversion: How To Make This Mechanism Work?

    Posted: Feb 06, 2025

If you want to upgrade as quickly as possible in POE 2 to enter the endgame and successfully complete all game content, you will inevitably experience countless battles. In order to improve your combat efficiency and make your gaming experience better, how to output more damage in combat has become one of your POE 2 compulsory courses.

Generally speaking, the main way to output damage is to use the various skills of your role‘s class, or to create and use good builds based on skills and gear. But if you want to increase the damage value, on the one hand, you can directly upgrade your skills or builds, on the other hand, you can try to modify the damage type of the skill.

This is because some special damage types can output more damage than ordinary types. If you can convert them correctly, you can greatly improve your combat efficiency and get more POE 2 Currency by killing more enemies.

Based on this, we will introduce you to how to make this conversion.

    How Damage Conversion Works?

The first thing you need to know is that most skills in Path of Exile 2 deal multiple types of damage at once, due to the inherent mechanics of the game, which means that most skills deal more than one type of damage. Generally speaking, these skills will convert a large portion of the physical damage to the elemental type while retaining some of the original physical damage.

For example, when you cast Freezing Salvo, a portion of the physical damage will be converted to cold damage, and the rest will remain physical damage. Therefore, this skill will not only benefit the most from cold and physical damage modifiers, but also interact with other elemental damage bonuses.

In addition, if you can exchange POE 2 Chaos Orbs for a ring that gives you increased fire damage, Freezing Salvo will even deal a small amount of fire damage, because it is not a pure elemental skill. However, this is a small benefit, because Freezing Salvo mainly deals with cold damage, and I mention this point just to give you more ideas for using this skill.

    How To Perform Damage Conversion?

The current methods to do this include using passive skill nodes, unique items, and support gems. The specific operation principle is as follows:

    • Unique items: Unique items can convert all elemental damage of skills into all three elemental damage types, but at the same time may reduce the effect of nearly pure elemental skills. Representative unique items are Painter’s Servant gloves.
    • Support gems: Some support gems such as Chaos Infusion will reduce the amount of non-chaos damage for skills, thereby gaining additional chaos damage. But the final effect depends on the builds you use.
    • Passive tree nodes: After unlocking some nodes, you can directly convert the damage type. For example, the capstone node Avatar of Fire can convert all your damage output into fire, but at the same time it will also sacrifice some overall damage.

To give you a better understanding, we will take Freezing Salvo as an example again for further explanation. The cold damage caused by this skill can be converted to pure fire damage through Avatar of Fire node in the passive skill tree. After that, Freezing Salvo will no longer cause any cold damage, nor can it apply freeze/chill effects to enemies. Instead, it will only cause fire damage and apply the ability to burn.

Read More: How To Find And Defeat Azarian, The Forsaken Son In Path Of Exile 2?

Additionally, Widowhail Unique bow’s unique mechanic allows you to force most damage types to another damage type based on the worst damage on the equipped quiver, which can turn Freezing Salvo into a skill that primarily deals with fire damage, for example.

Things To Note When Doing Damage Conversion

Overall, damage conversion is a powerful combat support mechanic, but there are some builds that can function without it. So if you want to adopt this mechanic, first make sure it aligns with your play style and build strategy. Other considerations can be summarized as follows:

    • Damage conversion allows skills to change their base damage type and skill effects, or interact with other mechanics, and even allows you to make some unique setups.
    • Most skills rely on more than one damage type, so they can benefit from multiple types of damage bonuses.
    • Pure elemental skills can only benefit from their exclusive elemental damage type unless damage conversion is performed.

Take Avatar of Fire as an example. This node prevents you from dealing with any type of non-fire damage, so other methods of increasing damage or converting damage will not work when this node is active. The only way you can increase damage at this point is to focus on increasing fire damage, so even though Freezing Salvo is a cold damage skill, it doesn’t make sense to add items or skill nodes to it that increase cold damage in this case.

The same is true for pure elemental skills. Take Flame Blast as an example, while it will not benefit from elemental damage types other than its default element, if you use a unique item to convert the fire damage of this skill to a different type, it will no longer receive the fire damage bonus despite being a fire damage skill.

It is worth noting that the process of performing damage conversion may require POE 2 orbs, so you can seize the opportunity to participate in the relevant giveaway event in IGGM Discord! This will likely bring you a lot of free orbs! Don’t miss it!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Level 1 Support Gems: What Effects Do The Top 10 Have?

    Posted: Feb 05, 2025

Compared to the first game, the role of various gems in POE 2 has become more important. In addition to skill gems that can provide you with more available skills, there are also support gems that can bring additional benefits.

However, I believe you have already discovered that there are so many support gems in Path of Exile 2 that even though they have been divided into 3 levels, you may still not know how to choose the right support gems for your skills and builds - there are more than 80 options even in the first level!

Therefore, in order to maximize the support gems you eventually have and save your POE 2 Currency, you should selectively obtain and equip them. Based on this, we will introduce you to the top ten level 1 support gems.

    1. Persistence

In terms of ability, Persistence is not the most powerful support gem, but it can extend the duration of any skill with a limited effect by 40%. Since each POE 2 class has some related skills, it can be said that Persistence is very versatile, and no matter what class or build you play, skills that last longer will always be more beneficial.

    2. Window Of Opportunity

On the one hand, this gem allows you to increase the damage of your skills by even 50% based on good timing. But on the other hand, Window of Opportunity requires stricter timing to work, which reduces its usability. So while this gem works well with Ranger skills like Snipe, the number of skills it supports is still small overall.

    3. Crescendo

Although the skills that can be matched with this gem are very limited, once you ensure that Crescendo is used in conjunction with the right moves by consuming POE 2 Exalted Orbs, it can be very powerful. This gem allows the last blow of your chain attack to be performed twice in a row, so it is more suitable for moves that have a powerful last blow at the end of the attack chain, such as Ice Strike and Tempest Flurry.

    4. Comorbidity

If your builds focus on dealing poison damage to your enemies, this gem is worth it. Comorbidity can add additional poison damage to supported skills, and it becomes even more powerful when paired with skills that deal with high base physical damage.

For example, when paired with Poison Chance skill gem, Comorbidity can turn almost any physical skill into a poison skill, and it becomes even more effective if you continue to invest in passive nodes on top of it.

    5. Overabundance

Overabundance is very useful for skills that have a limit on the number of effects that can be active at the same time, but it is important to know that it only supports skills that clearly state the limit in the full description, such as the elemental skill Solar Orb.

    6. Elemental Army

If you are used to summoning minions to fight in Path of Exile 2, you will find that these helpers are actually very fragile, especially when you are in the early game and lack passive skill nodes that can be used to enhance their health.

Fortunately, the support gem Elemental Army can help you solve this problem. It provides 30% resistance to all elements for the minions brought by the supported skills, but at the same time this also means that it is limited to only useful for minions.

    7. Heightened Curse

Although this gem is only suitable for certain builds, it is one of the most useful curse support gems at level 1. With the help of Heightened Curse, the curses you deal to the enemy can not only be amplified but also have no negative effects, which can greatly improve combat efficiency. Currently, this gem is suitable for Occult skills like Vulnerability and Enfeeble, or elemental curses Hypothermia and Temporal Chains.

    8. Fire / Lightning / Cold Infusion

The reason these three gems are grouped together is that they are important for builds that focus on one element, or elemental skills that can only deal damage from one element. Since each elemental damage has related properties, the gems are also divided into three categories accordingly, but if you want to deal with multiple elemental damage in battle, these gems may not help you.

    9. Martial / Arcane Tempo

Martial and Arcane Tempo work in essentially the same way in POE 2, they just support different skill types. Whether you want to physically attack or cast spells in combat, the faster attack speed or faster casting speed brought by these two gems respectively can be useful buffs.

    10. Envenom

Generally speaking, the amount of damage over time that poisons can deal in Path of Exile 2 depends on the output of the physical or chaos damage that caused the poison. Although poisons cannot stack by default, certain supporting gems and passive skills can help do this, such as Envenom.

The basic physical or chaos damage caused by skills that can deal damage will output more damage overtime for you. On this basis, attaching Envenom to high-damage attacks can create multiple layers of poison through combination, forming a very powerful effect.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Distilled Emotions: How To Utilize Once You Get Them?

    Posted: Feb 04, 2025

When you enter the endgame of POE 2 early access, you will be able to experience four endgame mechanics, including Breach, Ritual, Delirium and Expedition. It is worth noting that when you start running Delirium, you will find that this mechanic has a dedicated currency called Distilled Emotions, which can bring you a lot of help.

Specifically, Distilled Emotions can apply notable passive skills to your amulets and add Delirium effects to your Waystones for your endgame mapping. However, to obtain them, you need to deal with some Delirium, and to use them correctly, you need to upgrade your endgame builds and improve the relevant farming strategies.

Based on this, we will provide you with a detailed guide around the acquisition and use of Distilled Emotions.

All Distilled Emotions In POE 2

Currently, all Distilled Emotions in Path of Exile 2 include the following:

    • Distilled Despair
    • Distilled Disgust
    • Distilled Envy
    • Distilled Fear
    • Distilled Greed
    • Distilled Guilt
    • Distilled Ire
    • Distilled Isolation
    • Distilled Paranoia
    • Distilled Suffering

Different Distilled Emotions have different effects, so you can selectively farm them according to your needs.

    How To Get Distilled Emotions?

There are currently two ways to obtain this special currency, which can be summarized as fighting and trading. The former requires you to have strong enough to combat power and excellent gear, and the latter requires you to have enough POE 2 Currency. You can choose according to your situation and needs.

    1. Challenge Delirium

After entering the endgame, you can run some maps containing Delirium, which will appear as a white icon on the map. If you cannot generate Delirium naturally, you can also use the basic Precursor Tablet to force it to generate. Once you enter these maps, you’ll encounter Delirium Fog, and all you have to do is stay inside and kill as many monsters as possible.

As you kill more monsters, you’ll notice that the meter in the bottom left corner of the screen will gradually fill up, giving you some rewards. The more rewards you get, the more Distilled Emotions you’ll get at the end of the encounter. So please making the most of Delirium, and can try to increase the monster rarity or participate in more extra encounters that bring extra monsters.

    2. Trade

If you don’t have enough time to farm in Delirium, or you’re not confident enough in your fighting ability, you can get Distilled Emotions through Path of Exile 2 trading system. Simply complete Act 3 at Normal difficulty to unlock the currency exchange system, then go to any settlement and talk to Finn, Risu, or Alva to open the system.

Once you enter the trading system, you can exchange your POE 2 Exalted Orbs for Distilled Emotions you want. After the transaction is completed, you will see your newly acquired Distilled Emotions in the system, drag them to your inventory to start using them. In addition, although Divine Orbs can also be used for this transaction, Exalted Orbs are better.

It is worth reminding you that if you put in three similar Distilled Emotions at the same time, you will get an upgraded version. This practice is particularly useful when you have a lot of common Distilled Emotions but lack rare versions.

    How To Use Distilled Emotions?

As a special currency, Distilled Emotions also has two main uses, namely, anointing amulets and adding Delirium effects to Waystones. We will introduce them to you one by one.

    1. Anointing Amulets

The role of anoint is to allow you to obtain the benefits of notable passive skills directly, especially when you need a specific passive skill, but do not have enough skill points to achieve it, anoint will be very useful.

If you want to anoint an amulet with Distilled Emotions, you need to interact with Distilled Emotions in your inventory to open the anoint menu and place the desired Distilled Emotions at the bottom and the amulet to be anointed in the top slot. Then click the anoint button at the bottom and add the anoint you want to your amulet.

It is worth noting that the order in which Distilled Emotions are placed will affect the anoint result, so be sure to double-check what Distilled Emotions are required for the corresponding notable passive skill before confirming the anoint. To do this, just open the passive tree, hover over the corresponding node, and press Alt to view it. If you don’t want to bother checking each notable passive skill, you can use the anoint calculator to make it easier.

    2. Add Delirium Effects To Waystones

This effect of Distilled Emotions allows you to get extra reward layers by running these Waystones, and the operation method is also very simple. Right-click on Distilled Emotions you have, to open the installation menu, place Distilled Emotions you want at the bottom, and the uncorrupted Waystones at the top, then you can complete the operation.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Megalomaniac Diamond & From Nothing Diamond: How To Get Them?

    Posted: Feb 03, 2025

In order to give you a more complete and comfortable experience when playing the game, POE 2 has launched a variety of interesting items in the game, which provide you with reliable gains to ensure that you can get timely combat help.

Among all POE 2 items, jewelry is a relatively good one. Although they may not be as conspicuous as some armor or weapons in appearance, the value they bring cannot be underestimated, and even some of them require you to consume a certain amount of POE 2 Currency to get them.

Based on this, this time we will introduce you to the acquisition methods and functions of the two jewelry Megalomaniac Diamond and From Nothing Diamond.

    What Is Megalomaniac Diamond?

This is a unique jewelry in Path of Exile 2, because if you can roll favorable points based on it, Megalomaniac Diamond can even further strengthen your endgame builds, allowing your character to upgrade from just causing a lot of damage to a real destructive force in combat.

But finding a Megalomaniac Diamond isn’t easy, and you’ll need to not only defeat one of the most powerful bosses in POE 2 but also get RNG on your side.

    How To Get It?

To get this diamond, you must defeat Delirium pinnacle boss Kosis, the Revelation, as he’s the only one who will drop it for you. It’s worth noting that the pinnacle variant of Kosis, the Revelation requires you to fight it by using Simulacrum from the realm gate in Atlas.

To get Simulacrum, you must work hard to farm waystones and Delirium nodes that can be infused with Delirium, combining 300 Simulacrum Splinters into one. If you don’t have time or find it too difficult, going to the trading site to redeem it is also a good option.

Then you need to increase the difficulty of Simulacrum by earning Delirium Atlas points by completing Simulacrum on normal difficulty. Each time you win a pinnacle boss encounter, you’ll earn 2 Delirium Atlas Points, which can be used to increase the difficulty of the encounter by 1. Once you’re able to increase the difficulty to 4, you’ll unlock an encounter with Kosis, the Revelation, which gives you a chance to get the drop of Megalomaniac Diamond after killing him.

It’s worth noting that Kosis, the Revelation can also spawn randomly in regular Delirium maps, but this variant cannot drop Megalomaniac Diamonds or other unique items.

What Is The Use Of Megalomaniac Diamond?

Megalomaniac Diamond can be used to assign Notables to your passive skill tree using the 2-3 modifiers it has, but you can only have 1 Megalomaniac Diamond in a skill tree at a time.

See More: What Can Path Of Exile 2 Players Do In Endgame?

Because of the large number of Notables in the passive tree, the value of this diamond is not stable, depending on the value of the corresponding Notables. For example, a Megalomaniac Diamond with 3 Notables that can be used in a meta build can be very valuable, while if the diamond only provides Notables that are not compatible with the build, it is even less valuable than a POE 2 Regal Orb.

    What Is From Nothing Diamond?

Like Megalomaniac Diamond, From Nothing Diamond is a unique jewel in Path of Exile 2 that can redefine your builds and make them stronger if the dice roll is favorable.

    How To Get It?

The drop source of this diamond is exclusive and can only be obtained by defeating the pinnacle Ritual boss, King in the Mists, on +4 Crux of Nothingness difficulty. To do this, you first need to upgrade Ritual Atlas tree until you have +4 to Crux of Nothingness, which requires you to defeat the boss multiple times in lower difficulties. After that, you can use An Audience With the King at the realm gate in Atlas to enter the final boss battle.

The trouble is that even if you meet the above conditions and successfully defeat the boss at the required difficulty, because of the rarity of From Nothing Diamond, its drop is not fixed, so you may need to grind repeatedly to get it.

What Is The Use Of From Nothing Diamond?

After it is embedded, the diamond will form a small radius around the keystone in your passive tree, within which you can use passive skill tree points to allocate any node. This way you can save the passive skill points that they would have to consume, while also gaining skills on the other side of the skill tree, which you may never have the opportunity to obtain through other means before.

However, since the radius of From Nothing Diamond is always small, in order to balance this, each From Nothing Diamond comes with a pre-selected keystone, so once you insert it into the jewelry slot, a radius will be formed around it immediately.

After the introduction, I believe you should have realized the importance of these two diamonds. But if you don’t have time to grind yourself in the boss battle to get them, it’s also good to go to the official trading website to exchange them directly with orbs. For this reason, it is recommended that you participate in POE 2 Currency giveaway event in IGGM Discord in a timely manner, as it will provide you with the opportunity to get many free POE 2 orbs! Don’t miss it!

  • Path Of Exile 2 (6 Co-Op Mode Changes): How To Improve The Multiplayer Co-Op Experience?

    Posted: Jan 27, 2025

Path of Exile 2 Early Access has been very well received since its release, not only because it is the first sequel to POE series that has been popular with MMO players for decades, but more importantly, POE 2 itself provides players with a great co-op experience, even in Early Access stage.

However, GGG must not stop here if it wants to maintain the original enthusiasm of the large number of players after the full version of POE 2 is released, because there are indeed some design choices that are not ideal.

With this in mind, let’s talk about the co-op mode issues in Path of Exile 2 that need some serious adjustments, and improving them may really help POE 2 take the top spot in multiplayer co-op games!

    1. Teleporting

First, let’s start with something that many players have been complaining about, and that is Teleporting.

Teleporting has always been a very important core mechanic of group games, but in POE 2, it is unnecessarily complicated.

If you’re on the same map as your teammates, you can’t even teleport to them! You either have to walk, which can take a long time on enormous maps, or walk back and forth through town portals. That’s right, either you teleport to the town, then teleport to their checkpoint, and your teammates have to open their portals so you can jump back to them. It’s tedious and a waste of time.

The solution seems simple, though: by using an existing button in UI, let us teleport directly to our teammates, no matter where they are. GGG could perhaps add a short cast time to balance things out. That would save a lot of trouble.

    2. Map Display

Another headache is the map display, which is complex and unclear map information that can easily make players completely lost.

Not only that, there is no way to sync map discovery between teams, which means that if your team explores separately, the areas they discover will not be synced with everyone else’s map, which will just keep wasting your time backtracking. Imagine how frustrating it would be when you spent an hour exploring a map that your teammates have already swept and never found an Exalted Orb!

In fact, we don’t need military-level planning to scout the map in cooperation, just a simple shared map. This will greatly improve the exploration process, reduce backtracking, and keep everyone on the same page.

    3. Resurrection Speed

It is well known that it takes a long time to revive teammates in POE 2, especially when the enemy keeps interrupting you. Everything will easily return to the starting point.

Some players may want to say that as long as the character’s survivability is improved, it will not be easily killed? But seriously, building evasion or relying on crowd control skills such as stun, shock, or freeze will indeed help, but even so, it is a hit and miss. Not to mention, a high-survivability character often requires an enormous investment of POE Currency, which is difficult for early players to do.

In contrast, shorter casting time or immunity to interruption will often help us a lot. In addition, outside of combat, why not completely eliminate the casting time? This is completely unnecessary downtime. Although they have made some minor changes to the casting time in patch 0.1.1, the penalty system still feels a bit over the top.

Other than that, respawn options in POE 2 are minimal. If you die in co-op, you can basically just wait for someone to revive you, or wait for everyone to wipe out and then respawn together. This is totally unnecessary.

Imagine dying on the other side of the map and then you just sit there doing nothing, waiting for your buddies to come and rescue you, which is absolutely frustrating in the middle of story progression.

I think GGG could have just let players respawn in towns for non-endgame content. That way, you can rejoin the action right away instead of dragging everyone down. If you want to have a better chance of winning battles after respawning and upgrade your gear with more orbs, why not join the giveaways that are often offered in IGGM Discord? You have nothing to lose, anyway!

    4. Flask Charges

Next, let’s talk about Flasks. Flasks only recharge when you land a critical hit, which doesn’t make sense in co-op, especially if your teammates use Culling mechanic or deal a lot more damage than you do. Of course, you can improve this by finding potions with charge modifiers, but the effect is poor.

So what’s a better solution? In short, count the kills of the entire squad. If someone kills, everyone’s Flask should be charged. Only such a simple and fair application method can keep the action going.

    5. Skill Effect Display

Now turn to this headache skill effect problem in POE 2. If you have ever played with a spellcaster, you will know how difficult it is. Their spells, special effects and minions fill the entire screen, and you can’t even see your character. What’s worse, this also includes the skills of the boss you should avoid. Fire spells are the worst, especially between the firewall and the explosion, everything is a mess.

Therefore, players urgently call for a simple slider to adjust the transparency of teammates' spells and minions to solve this problem.

    6. Endgame

Finally, let’s talk about the endgame survival problem. Because in the endgame map, if you die, you’re done, just like the hardcore mode in Diablo 4. When you die in co-op, you either wait in town or lie on the ground until your partner completes the map, which is terrible for co-op. Not only is it harder if one of you dies, the others have to do the rest of the mission alone without you, but you don’t get any loot.

Why not use the existing portal system to improve this? There are already six portals per map, so why not let players use them to respawn? Of course, the penalty mechanism still has to be retained, but it allows everyone to participate. This will make map making feel more collaborative, less punitive for co-op players, and more fun for those who are looking for a higher difficulty challenge!

    Outro

Well, these are the 6 points that we have summarized that are in desperate need of improvement in POE 2’s multiplayer co-op mode. These changes will make co-op more fun.

Although this is already a great game, some adjustments like this will further improve the co-op experience. So, what do you think? Do you think there are still areas that need to be adjusted? See you next time!

  • Path Of Exile 2 Best Life And Mana Flask: How To Get Them?

    Posted: Jan 26, 2025

Whether it’s Path of Exile 2 or Diablo 4, what are the most important resources for players? The vast majority of builds need health and mana. Health represents your tolerance for mistakes in the game. The more health you have, the less likely you are to die in the game because of a single mistake. And the more mana you have, the more skills you can unleash.

Players have many ways to restore health in Path of Exile 2, such as passive, life drain, etc., and the methods of restoring mana are similar. However, these methods only extend your endurance. If you are really in danger, these methods are not enough.

The best and most direct way to restore life and mana in Path of Exile 2 is to use Life Flask and Mana Flask to restore you directly. There are more than one Life Flask and Mana Flask in Path of Exile 2, and they have different effects. So what are the best Life Flask and Mana Flask in Path of Exile 2? They are Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask and Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask.

    Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask

Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask is a valuable consumable. This Life Flask will give the player a large amount of instant life recovery, which can often save the player from danger.

When you click on Life Flask, you will be restored immediately, while other Life Flasks in Path of Exile 2 are mostly restored slowly over a certain period. Instant Recovery is far more popular than slow recovery in Path of Exile 2.

Normal Ultimate Life Flasks can only restore 30% of the player’s life at a time, while Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask can restore 100% of the player’s life at a time, which is why Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask is the best Life Flask.

    Here are its specific effects:

    • Restores 920 Life Points in 3 seconds
    • Uses 10 of 75 charges when used
    • Has 75 charges
    • Instant Recovery
    • Increases charge by 100–150% each time used
    • Excess Life Recovery lasts 10 seconds as a Guard

How To Get Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask?

Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask only appears as a drop from Olroth, Origin of the Fall, Expeditions pinnacle boss. Players can only find Olroth during Level 79+ Expedition Logbook runs, and Olroth still appears with probability. Fortunately, its probability of appearing is quite high, and players have at least a more than 50% chance of encountering this boss.

To find Olroth, Logbook is essential. You can participate in Expeditions activities, defeat the enemies that jump out after the explosion, and then get Logbooks from the treasure chest.

Expeditions activities not only give you Logbooks but also a lot of POE 2 Currency, making them one of the most interesting endgame activities.

Once you have enough Logbooks, you need to talk to Dannig in Hideout to open the map to Olroth.

    Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask

Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask has a lot of description. As powerful as it is, you also have to take some risks when using it.

    Here’s what it does:

    • Restores 310 Life Points over 3 seconds.
    • Consumes 10 of 75 charges when used.
    • There are 75 charges.
    • The effect does not disappear immediately after the mana bar is full.
    • Duration increased by (200–250) %.
    • Deals chaos damage equal to 50% of the mana consumed per second to nearby enemies in 3 seconds while in use.
    • Instantly restores all mana.
    • When the effect ends, takes chaos damage is equal to one quarter of the remaining mana.

It can be seen that Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask is not just a Flask that can only restore mana. It can also cause certain damage to monsters. This item can increase the output of the spellcaster.

How To Get Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask?

Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask is a drop from Kosis, the Revelation of Delirium event. Players need to use 300 Simulacrum Splinters to synthesize a Simulacrum.

Simulacrum Splinter is relatively rare in the game. Players can exchange a Simulacrum with other players through Currency Exchange using your POE 2 Exalted Orb, or you can instill your Waystones with Delirium fog, which requires the use of instilling mechanic. After success, you can find 10-50 Simulacrum Splinters on each map.

The specific number of Simulacrum Splinters obtained will be determined by the number of monsters on the map, so you need to choose a map with more monsters as much as possible.

If you want to trade a Simulacrum with another player but don’t have enough Currency, you can enter IGGM discord, where there are often giveaways that can help you get Simulacrum.

That’s about Melting Maelstrom Mana Flask and Olroth’s Resolve Ultimate Life Flask. Not only are these two items consumable, but they are not necessarily dropped by the boss. You may find a lot of Currency from the boss, but not the flask, which is normal. However, you can definitely get one of the boss’s unique drops, so don’t be discouraged.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Explosive Shot Deadeye Build: How Does This Low-Budget Build Perform?

    Posted: Jan 24, 2025

Here we are, Exiles, sharing a new Crossbow build in Path Of Exile 2, Explosive Shot Deadeye Build with Shockburst Rounds. It is extremely powerful in the endgame and is one of the great builds that every Crossbow lover should not miss!

    Weapon Swap Mechanics Explained

Before we get started, though, let’s explain the new Weapon Swap Mechanics. In POE 2, Weapon Swap refers to the ability to quickly switch between two different sets of weapons, usually using the “X” key by default, by assigning specific abilities to each set of weapons, players can use different skills and play styles depending on the situation, effectively changing the focus of the character depending on the current combat scenario. It can greatly improve your Crossbow build without spending too much POE 2 Currency. Even with some dangerous modifiers, this build is pretty solid for farming T16 maps, as long as you follow our crossbow tips in this guide.

    How To Optimize Your Weapons?

The core items in this build have not changed, including the primary weapon for Shockburst Rounds. Note that here, you should not equip the implicit version of the crossbow with extra bolts. This is because the reload speed of this base is very low and you have to shoot quickly to avoid being crushed by monsters.

So if you are going to upgrade your weapons, it is recommended that you get extra bolts as explicit modifiers, along with high attack speed, physical damage, and short reload time. You can even use Weapon Swap for this.

To be more cost-effective, you can use bolts with a lot of flat physical damage for Shockburst Rounds, and bolts with fast attack speed, short reload time, extra bolts, and decent physical damage for Explosive Shot. You can even get some fire damage in there.

How important is the extra bolt here? It’s as powerful as double damage and double attack speed. So you can swap weapons between these two depending on the difficulty of the encounter.

    Weapon Swap Settings

Once you have Weapon Swap set up, it’s really easy.

First, you open the skills section and tick the weapon group for each skill according to the 2 slots you put them in. You can even try to tick the Always attack without moving option. After you load a single crossbow shot with the respective bolt, then you can forget about it. For this, we even have two separate settings in the passive tree, because one is for clearing and the other is for boosting lightning damage.

Then you might ask, how important is Weapon Swap in the passive tree? It is a very powerful boost to single target damage, because you are actually trading the points you spent on clearing for free passive damage points. For example, you can give Shock effect and Area of Effect to weapon 1, while putting all the damage points into weapon 2. After testing, this is very powerful. You should give it a try!

    Passive Tree

The current passive tree has changed a lot compared to before. Like we said before, we take points for Shock effect and Area of Effect for weapon 1, while we put points into Lightning Penetration and damage for weapon 2. For Explosive Shot, the more projectiles you have, the damage will be doubled.

So why didn’t we use Scattershot Support? First of all, Scattershot has a big drawback, which is its slow attack speed. When clearing things like Ritual and Breach, you need to fire faster. This support will give you a huge amount of damage, but at the cost of this major drawback. If you lack damage and like this, then go for it!

You can use Scattershot against major single targets, anyway. For this, it is important to increase the duration of the shock on the target, which you can get from rare gems. If Shock lasts longer, it helps make boss fights less annoying.

How To Avoid Dying On T15+ Maps?

If you try this build and die too many times in T15+ maps, here are some important issues you can fix.

First is the clearing and attack speed. You need a bigger AOE explosion and attack rate. Then there is the considerable damage, you also have to constantly upgrade the main skill gem and its slot, just upgrade the main attack gem and you can get a lot of damage. In POE 2, if you don’t kill them first, they will eventually kill you. Unlike POE 1, currently you can’t face every hit in the game, no matter how much life or ES you have, some monster explosions on the ground can easily destroy any build. So make sure you stack as much life, evasion, and resistance as possible.

For physical damage, we have no choice but Wind Ward. If you die before getting the fourth Ascendancy, then you can swap Endless Munitions for Wind Ward. Your Explosive Shot will do a ton of damage, but at least you won’t be hit by attacks off-screen.

Getting Tailwind is easy for Crossbow builds, you can get Tailwind from every projectile of Explosive Shot, or even if you switch between ammo and shooting.

Another important thing to note is that if you don’t have more than 10k evasion and don’t have Tailwind, then you shouldn’t pick up Acrobatics keystone. This is very important for evasion builds no matter what you play, because Acrobatics only work if you have at least 50% evasion after you grab it.

Another tip is that if you are overwhelmed by things like Corrupted monsters, which are usually more tanky, you can quickly apply Voltaic Mark on one of them and then fire an Explosive Shot. When you kill the monster, it will explode, dealing huge lightning damage and an area effect.

All in all, this Explosive Shot Deadeye Build is one of the most powerful options on a limited budget. You even need less than 2 Divine Orbs to complete it. Of course, you can also equip it with better items to maximize its potential. If you are low on orbs, some of the orbs giveaways launched in IGGM Discord can allow you to refill your inventory for free. So why not give it a try? You have nothing to lose, anyway.
