Posted: Nov 22, 2024 Views: 1799
As one of the longest-running MMORPGs, World of Warcraft officially ushered in its 20th anniversary some time ago, and a very interesting anniversary event was also held in the game until January 6. In this anniversary event, you can not only get the very iconic Tier 2 sets in Vanilla WoW but also unlock a memorable mount - Coldflame Tempest.
Although this mount is provided to you for free, you need to complete a series of achievements. Under normal circumstances, these achievements will take about a few months to complete, but with the help of this guide and your patience, you can even get it in one or two days.
First, you need to go to Caverns of Time through the portal from Stormwind City or Orgrimmar. Once here, you will see a lot of anniversary event tasks, and you can complete the corresponding tasks according to your needs. After all the tasks are completed, you can get a lot of WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold, which can be used to obtain cosmetics.
There are eight achievements you must complete by getting Coldflame Tempest. Most can be completed in a few minutes, but some will take some time and effort. You can complete the straightforward tasks first, so you can have free time to complete the more arduous tasks. Here are the eight achievements and the tasks you need to complete getting the mount.
- I Have That One!: You need to match a mount during Mount Mania.
- Fashion Critic: Cast a vote in Fashion Frenzy.
- Pet Mischief: Use pet disguiser to disguise yourself as your pet and explore the designated area.
- Balloonist: Ride one of the anniversary balloons.

These achievements are all completed in Caverns of Time area in Tanaris where you are standing, so you can open the map immediately after completing an achievement and look for the nearest active activity. In addition, although those world bosses will also be marked on your map, in order to save time, you’d better rush to the boss as soon as possible, otherwise you will have an endless wait.
The above is how you can unlock this Coldflame Tempest in WoW Classic 20th Anniversary. I sincerely hope that you can have fun playing this very memorable anniversary event and get this very cool mount as soon as possible. I wish you a happy game!

WoW Classic 20th Anniversary 5 Rarest Mounts: How To Get Them?
All the new content for Phase 3 of WoW 20th Anniversary has been available since April 3, and if you’ve been playing the game, you’ve probably already completed some of it, especially if you’re already familiar with WoW Classic.
However, there is still some time until the release of Phase 4, and even all of us don’t know the exact release date yet. So what should you do in the time between Phases 3 and 4 when you’ve completed all Phase 3 quests? Maybe expanding your mount collection would be a good idea!
In fact, the collectible gameplay of WoW 20th Anniversary is very popular because there are so many types of collectible items, including transmogs, mounts, pets, and so much more. But the biggest collectible market is probably mounts.
Perhaps at the beginning of World of Warcraft Classic, players collected mounts mainly to save time traveling between regions, but now in WoW 20th or other servers, mounts are more about decorating your character’s appearance, enriching your collection and making your account more valuable. Based on this, we will introduce you to the 5 mounts that are still very valuable in WoW Classic 20th Anniversary.
1. Horn Of The Frostwolf Howler (Stormpike Battle Charger)
Although there are two names and two forms, you can actually think of them as the same mount, because you can only get one of them according to your faction. When you reach the exalted status in your PVP reputation in Alterac Mountains, you can get this mount, and Horde players would get Horn Of The Frostwolf Howler and Alliance players got Stormpike Battle Charger.
Fortunately, it is easier to obtain reputation and WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold than in the past, so getting this mount is not as difficult as in the original game, as long as you ensure that you complete the fixed tasks.
2. Mounts For PVP Rank 11
As the name suggests, this is also a mount that is closely related to your performance in PVP mode - you can only get it when your PVP level reaches 11, and the prerequisite is that you have to go to the faction’s representative in Alterac Valley PVP area and exchange it for 100 gold. The reason why this mount is considered rare is that PVP level upgrade process is relatively difficult, and it takes time to earn gold. So if you want to get it, you must complete all the tasks in PVP mode carefully.
3. Rivendare’s Deathcharger
From the outside, you may think that Rivendare’s Deathcharger is almost the same as most of the skeleton horses that will appear in WoW 20th Anniversary dungeon, nothing special. However, its real special feature is that it does not restrict the identity and faction of the rider, and has a strong universality. For example, unlike Horn Of The Frostwolf Howler, which is limited to Horde players,
However, the tricky thing is that it is also difficult to obtain this mount. It will only drop from the boss named Baron Rivendare in Stratholme raid. Although it is not difficult to find and defeat this boss, the probability of him dropping Rivendare’s Deathcharger is very low, even less than 0.1%! What’s more, when playing a raid, there are so many companions in your team, even if it drops, it is difficult to decide who owns the mount. This is why less than 1% of players in the original game used to own Rivendare’s Deathcharger.
4. Black Qiraji Battle Tank
To get this mount, you need to accumulate a lot of WoW 20th Anniversary Gold and other related resources in advance, and work together with your friends to open Gate of Ahn’Qiraj, to successfully enter Temple of Ahn’Qiraj and Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj. The whole process is actually a very long quest line, and only after completing it and obtaining Scepter of the Shifting Sands can you get Black Qiraji Battle Tank as one of the final rewards.
The trouble is that this mount is only available within a 10-hour window, so if you miss that time or take too long to complete the quest, you will miss it. In addition, any player on the server can start this window, so you may never know the exact time it happens. This makes it almost impossible to complete this quest, and the rarity of Black Qiraji Battle Tank is even higher.
5. The Original Epic Mounts
From the original game to WoW Classic 20th Anniversary, this mount has always been considered the rarest in the entire game series because it requires 1,000 gold to redeem and requires your character to reach level 60. Although you can definitely do this by working hard to accumulate WoW 20th Gold, after all gold has other more important uses in the early game.
After the release of patch 1.4 of the original game, you can also exchange this mount for new mounts with armor, and you should also be able to do so in WoW 20th Anniversary, but the real value is the original version mounts.
The above 5 mounts are just rarer, so if you just want to increase your travel speed by mounts, you can definitely consider other easier-to-obtain mounts. But if you are a veteran player who wants to enrich the game collection, it is definitely worth working hard for these 5 mounts!

WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Phase 4 Zul’Gurub Rewards: What Rewards Can You Get?
WoW 20th Phase 3 has been open for some time, and the estimated opening time of Phase 4 is the spring of 2025, and it may be officially opened soon. The content of Phase 4 Rise of The Blood God is equally exciting. It will mainly open two contents, Zul’Gurub Raid and The Dragons of Nightmare World Bosses.
Zul’Gurub Raid is the first 20-man team dungeon launched in WoW 20th Anniversary. It is also considered a catch-up team raid, allowing players who are a little behind in progress to grow quickly. The difficulty and mechanism of the raid are more friendly to players and guilds, and the reset time is shorter. Zul’Gurub Raid offers rewards including 20th WoW Gold, gear, and two mounts: Swift Razzashi Raptor and Swift Zulian Tiger.
Zul’Gurub Raid
Zul’Gurub is located in the northeastern portion of Stranglethorn Vale, east of Lake Nazferiti. It was once the capital of Gurubashi Trolls, but was eventually destroyed by civil war and corruption. Centuries later, Atal’ai Priests returned to Zul’Gurub to summon Blood God, Hakkar, for evil purposes.
Zandalar Tribe now seeks adventurers to help them stop this summoning. Zul’Gurub Raid resets every 72 hours (basically every 3 days). Alliance players can choose to enter Zul’Gurub from Duskwood into Stranglethorn Vale, or go north from Booty Bay. The fastest route for Horde players is from Grom’gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale.
Boss Overview
In Zul’Gurub Raid, you must first defeat the five high priests before fighting Blood God, Hakkar, because these five high priests will provide very powerful buffs to Blood God, Hakkar. Killing the corresponding high priest will make Hakkar lose the corresponding buff. If you challenge Blood God, Hakkar directly, it will be very difficult.
The buffs provided by each high priest to Hakkar are as follows:
- Aspect of Jeklik (High Priestess Jeklik): Causes about 1500 AOE damage and silences everyone in the area for 8 seconds, an average of once every 21 seconds.
- Aspect of Venoxis (High Priest Venoxis): Corrupted Blood will cause about 450 damage to the team every 2 seconds, and the frequency of activation is relatively high.
- Aspect of Mar’li (High Priestess Mar’li): Launched against the target with the highest hatred, Gouges for 2 seconds, and clears the hatred of this target. Tanks are required to accumulate hatred in turns.
- Aspect of Thekal (High Priest Thekal): Hakkar’s attack speed is increased by 150%.
- Aspect of Arlokk (High Priestess Arlokk: Usually launched on the target with the highest hatred, stunning it for 6 seconds.
Zul’Gurub Raid Loot
Boss Loots
Each high priest has a separate loot pool, but some loot is shared:
- Band of Servitude
- Seal of the Gurubashi Berserker
- Belt of Untapped Power
- Blooddrenched Mask
- Cloak of the Hakkari Worshipers
- Gloves of the Tormented
- Might of the Tribe
- Sacrificial Gauntlets
- Zulian Headdress
- Zulian Scepter of Rites
The loot in Zul’Gurub Raid is very rich, including various weapons, gears, rings and amulets and WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold. Because of space limitations, the following are some of the more important loot:
- Band of Servitude
- Heart of Hakkar
- Seal of the Gurubashi Berserker
- Swift Razzashi Raptor
- Swift Zulian Tiger
- Warblade of the Hakkari (Main hand) & Warblade of the Hakkari (Offhand)
- Zin’rokh, Destroyer of Worlds
Non-Boss Loots
Zul’Gurub will also provide a new set of armor for each class. Each set contains 5 pieces of epic quality gear. However, the sets themselves are not boss drops in Zul’Gurub Raids, but are obtained through quest rewards and reputation requirements with Zandalar Tribe. Instead, you need to collect loot to craft the armor.
These armors are:
- Druid: Haruspex’s Garb
- Hunter: Predator’s Armor
- Mage: Illusionist’s Attire
- Paladin: Freethinker’s Armor
- Priest: Confessor’s Raiment
- Rogue: Madcap’s Outfit
- Shaman: Augur’s Regalia
- Warlock: Demoniac’s Threads
- Warrior: Vindicator’s Battlegear
Note that while all 5 pieces are part of a set, you can only obtain the actual necklace when you reach Exalted status with Zandalar Tribe. Once you have reached enough reputation with Zandalar Tribe, you can add enchants with specific class properties to your Helm or Leg slots at Zanza the Restless. Here are the enchantments:
- Druid (Animist’s Caress): +10 Stamina +10 Intellect, +24 Healing
- Hunter (Falcon’s Call): +24 Ranged Attack Power, +10 Stamina, +1% Hit
- Mage (Presence of Sight): +18 Damage/Healing, +1% Spell Hit
- Paladin (Syncretist’s Sigil): +10 Stamina, +7 Defense, +24 Healing
- Priest (Prophetic Aura): +10 Stamina, +4 mana/5 sec, +24 Healing
- Rogue (Death’s Embrace): +28 Attack Power, +1% Dodge
- Shaman (Vodouisant’s Vigilant Embrace): +15 Intellect, +13 Damage/Healing
- Warlock (Hoodoo Hex): +10 Stamina, +18 Damage/Healing
- Warrior (Presence of Might): +10 Stamina, +7 Defense, +15 Shield Block
How To Gain Reputation?
There are 4 ways to collect reputation with Zandalar Tribe.
1. Zul’Gurub Raid
Each completed Zul’Gurub Raid will give you 2,500-3,000 reputation points.
2. Quests
Zandalar Tribe has various quests. Collect these quests and complete them to gain reputation.
3. Collect Bijous
Any monster or boss you kill in Zul’Gurub has a chance to drop various Bijous. In the quest “A Bijou for Zanza”, you need to give these Bijous to Vinchaxa on Yojamba Isle. After completing Destroy Bijou, you will gain Zandalar Honor Tokens with Zandalar Tribe.
The gems that can be collected are as follows:
- Blue Hakkari Bijou
- Bronze Hakkari Bijou
- Gold Hakkari Bijou
- Green Hakkari Bijou
- Orange Hakkari Bijou
- Purple Hakkari Bijou
- Red Hakkari Bijou
- Silver Hakkari Bijou
- Yellow Hakkari Bijou
4. Collect Coins
Similar to Collect Bijou, you need to collect various coins and give them to Vinchaxa to complete the task. The coins that can be collected are:
- Bloodscalp Coin
- Gurubashi Coin
- Hakkari Coin
- Razzashi Coin
- Sandfury Coin
- Skullsplitter Coin
- Vilebranch Coin
- Witherbark Coin
- Zulian Coin
After you have collected enough reputation, you can redeem rewards with Zandalar Honor Tokens at Rin’wosho the Trader. Some of his products can also be directly redeemed with gold.
The above is a brief introduction to Zu’Gurub rewards. Because Zu’Gurub Raid has so much content, there are still many rewards that have not been introduced in detail. New and old players can look forward to it.

WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Phase 3 Arathi Basin: How Will The Battle For This Zone Unfold?
On March 20, the first part of WoW 20th Anniversary Phase 3 was officially launched! New content in this part includes Blackwing Lair raid, level 50 class quests, Warsong Gulch reputation lists, Eternal Quintessence, and Darkmoon Faire. I wonder how you have completed them? If you haven’t started yet, you must hurry up, because the second part will open Arathi Basin for you!
In the second week after the start of Phase 3, WoW Classic 20th Anniversary will continue to bring new changes on April 3, such as the cancellation of PVP honor rank 11 cap, and the most important resource battle that will be launched in Arathi Basin! Considering that you may not be very familiar with the original game before, we will introduce you to some things to know about fighting in Arathi Basin in detail.
WoW Classic 20th Arathi Basin
Arathi Basin in WoW 20th Phase 3 will officially open on April 3 at 3:00 PM PDT, where you will be able to join other players in a 15-on-15 resource battle. The winning team will not only ensure that everyone has the opportunity to win WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold through fighting, but also win more opportunities for their faction to continue to grow.
To make your team win, you must hone your team coordination skills with your teammates, so that you have a chance to capture and hold five different bases on the map in the battle to accumulate resources. It is worth noting that the starting point of the battle will be different depending on your faction: Alliance players will start near Stables at Trollbane Hall, while Horde players will start near the Defiler’s Den farm. After that, the first team to collect 2,000 resources wins. Here is a more intuitive list of Arathi Basin gameplay:
- Number of players: 15 vs. 15
- Level range: 20+
- Capture points: Farm, Mine, Blacksmith, Lumberyard and Stable
- Resources required to win: 2000
Arathi Basin Battleground Strategy
The above is the overall idea of playing Arathi Basin battle in WoW 20th Anniversary Phase 3, but in order to minimize the confusion you will encounter when April 3 arrives, we will introduce more relevant information further.
What Is Arathi Basin?
Arathi Basin is located in Arathi Highlands. Due to its special geographical location and rich resource storage, Alliance and Horde have long used it as one of the main positions for competing for natural resources. The zone first appeared in the original game in patch 1.7 in 2005 as a control point battlefield and the associated factions are The League of Arathor and The Defilers.
How To Enter Arathi Basin?
If you don’t want to be lost when all your teammates have gathered, you need to figure out the route to Arathi Basin in advance. If you are an Alliance player, the entrance is at 45.4, 44.2 Sanctuary, and for Horde players, the entrance is at 73.7, 29.3 north of Hammerfell. Or you can find 6 Arathi Basin Battlemasters in the main cities of the game and queue up to enter Arathi Basin.
- Keras Wolfheart: Darnassus, Warrior’s Terrace, 58, 37
- Donal Osgood: Ironforge, Military Ward, 70, 89
- Lady Hoteshem: Stormwind, Stormwind Keep, 78, 17
- Deze Snowbane: Orgrimmar, Valley of Honor, 79, 29
- Martin Lindsey: Thunder Bluff, Spirit Rise, 28, 21
- Sir Malory Wheeler: Undercity, Royal Quarter, 61, 93
How To Accumulate Resources As Quickly As Possible?
In order to accumulate 2000 resources before the enemy team, you must work with your teammates to occupy all resource nodes completely as quickly as possible and protect them from being recaptured, because when a resource node is completely controlled by you, it will not only generate a certain amount of resources at a fixed time but also the more nodes you control, the faster the resource generation speed. If you can occupy all 5 resource nodes, the resource generation speed can even increase tenfold.
It is worth noting that these nodes do not belong to any faction before the battle begins. After that, you and your teammates can start from your starting point and expand your influence to the following areas:
- Stables: Nearest Trollbane Hall in the north.
- Gold Mine: Northeast corner of the map.
- Blacksmith: Center of the map.
- Lumber Mill: Southeast of the map.
- Farm: Closest to Defiler’s Den in the south.
What Are Resource Node Flags?
In order to show the ownership status of the current resource nodes to all players clearly, these nodes will be equipped with flags in three different states:
- White flag: This is the starting state of the flag, indicating that neither side has claimed the node.
- Gray flag marked with Alliance or Horde symbol: This means that one party is attacking the node and is waiting for the original occupying party to fight back.
- Alliance blue flag/Horde red flag: Indicates that the node has been attacked and occupied by a faction and has begun to generate resources.
If you want to capture the flag, you or your teammates need to attack any unclaimed or contested/occupied flag and gain control by guiding for 8 seconds. However, if you are damaged or stunned by the enemy during this period, the 8-second attack will be interrupted and you must start over.
After the 8-second channel is completed, the flag of the node will be contested. If 60 seconds pass without being attacked by the enemy again, the node will be considered occupied by you and start generating resources for you. But if the enemy can successfully defend the flag, the corresponding node will remain under the control of the enemy.
I believe that after reading our introduction, you will feel more comfortable in the battle for Arathi Basin in WoW 20th Anniversary after April 3. Wish you good luck!

WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Darkmoon Faire In Phase 3: How To Prepare For This Event?
As a long-standing but still very popular old MMORPG, the commemorative craze brought by the 20th anniversary celebration of World of Warcraft, which began in 2024, has been successfully continued to this day through Classic 20th Anniversary server and will continue to receive updates!
In order to ensure that WoW Classic 20th can continue to attract new and old players to join, the game will be released in 6 phases in sequence. Currently in progress is phase 2, which started on January 9, but soon you will usher in the exciting phase 3 on March 20.
The core new content of phase 3 is expected to be Blackwing Lair and Darkmoon Faire. Fortunately, we have brought you information about Blackwing Lair based on predictions not long ago, so this time we will focus on helping you prepare for the experience of Darkmoon Faire.
What Is Darkmoon Faire?
You can think of Darkmoon Faire as an event in WoW 20th Anniversary, which is usually held once a month and is open in only one place at a time - the location usually rotates between Elwynn Forest and Mulgore. There are many exotic merchants who will travel with Darkmoon Faire’s owner Silas Darkmoon to bring you goodies that you can’t usually see. At that time, you will be able to exchange the goods you want through WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold or Darkmoon Faire tickets.
Specific Opening Time Of Darkmoon Faire
The opening time of the faire is usually scheduled on the first day of each month, and it is guaranteed to be Monday as much as possible, so it may start setting up at the end of the previous month or even open directly. If you want to participate in this event, you must pay more attention to the key time nodes. Since the opening time of phase 3 of WoW 20th Anniversary is March 20, this time it may be opened in advance on the basis of the end of the month to allow you to experience it.
Generally speaking, Darkmoon Faire will arrive at the corresponding location on Friday and start setting up on the weekend, then open on next Monday, and last for a week until the next Sunday. It should be noted that during the faire setup period from Friday to next Monday, although you will see members busy setting up, you cannot participate in it. If you are afraid of missing the event, don’t worry, the crier Melnan Darkstone from Ironforge and Kruban Darkblade from Orgrimmar will announce the arrival of the faire for you after Darkmoon Faire opens.
How To Find Darkmoon Faire?
Darkmoon Faire will only be held alternately in Elwynn Forest and Mulgore, the former is located near Goldshire and the latter is southwest of Thunder Bluff. It is worth noting that the specific route to go will vary depending on your faction identity.
Horde Players Route
If you are a Horde player, it will be easier to reach Darkmoon Faire when it in Elwynn Forest. The following is a specific route that can avoid Alliance guards:
- Go to the airship platform in Ogrimmar or Undercity and take the airship to Grom’gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale.
- Once you reach Grom’gol, walk northeast from the camp.
- Turn left at the first T-junction and continue north until you pass through Duskwood.
- You may find a small Alliance guard camp near the intersection of the east and west roads on the right side of the road. You can turn west to avoid this, but be careful not to turn onto the road. Instead, walk north between Duskwood and Raven Hill Cemetery.
- You will then encounter a river, with the estimated coordinates being around Duskwood 30,24. Cross the river to enter Elwynn Forest.
- Continue walking north, keeping Maclure Vineyards on your right, and you will soon see Darkmoon Faire site.
Alliance Players Route
If you are an Alliance player, you may encounter Horde guards when going to Darkmoon Faire in Mulgore, but it’s okay as long as you are more careful. The route we recommend next is more suitable for Alliance players above level 40, because it is more timesaving but risky, and low-level players may not be able to deal with it.
- Once you reach Menethil Harbor in Wetlands, take a boat to Theramore.
- Once you reach Theramore, head northwest into Dustwallow Marsh, then west toward Barrens.
- Once you enter Barrens, head west, then north on the main road, and when you see Camp Taurajo, turn west toward the mountains, and just south of Camp Taurajo, take the other road west to Mulgore.
- Shortly after entering Mulgore you will see a small dirt road heading north, just east of a pond, keep the pond to your left and follow it until you find the road north again, and then you can enter Darkmoon Faire.
Darkmoon Decks And Cards
This should be the item you should focus on when participating in Darkmoon Faire event. Because at the market brought by Darkmoon Faire, there are some epic items that can only be exchanged through Darkmoon decks and cards. Once you have the cards, you will need to assemble them into 4 decks and present them to Professor Thaddeus Paleo in Darkmoon Faire. These 4 decks are:
- Beasts Deck
- Elementals Deck
- Portals Deck
- Warlords Deck
We hope that this information will help you have a great time playing Darkmoon Faire once phase 3 arrives. Thank you for reading.

WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Molten Core & Onyxia’s Lair: What You Should Know?
While WoW 20th Anniversary will soon begin its third phase on March 20, you’ll be able to experience more new game content, but perhaps you’ve just joined the server, or you just don’t know how to improve your combat efficiency, so you may not have yet completed the dungeons and quests in the previous phases, such as Molten Core and Onyxia’s Lair.
Of course, it’s not impossible to experience the latest content directly, but if you want to accumulate more WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold for your character, you shouldn’t miss any opportunity to provide gold. So we’ve provided you with detailed information about these two dungeons.
Molten Core
To access this dungeon, you first need to go to Burning Steppes and make sure your character level is at least 60. Since Molten Core is a group dungeon, if you want to defeat the final boss Ragnaros with your teammates, you must know the specific information about the 10 bosses in the dungeon.
1. Lucifron
This is a patient and ambitious man who will wait until you show a flaw before attacking you, or substitute in when his flame summoner is in danger of being defeated by you. In addition, Lucifron and his two flame summoners guard the huge core hound Magmadar, the favorite pet of the ultimate boss Ragnaros.
2. Magmadar
As the name of the dungeon suggests, it is a terrifying behemoth made of fire and rolling magma, and is also the origin of the core hounds wandering in the earthen halls of Molten Core. Onyxia’s Lair
This dungeon is located in Dustwallow Marsh, and is also a level 60, 40-player dungeon. Onyxia will protect her new egg as much as possible within the scope of this dungeon, and it is also the habitat of Black Dragonflight. However, the arrival of you and your teammates will disrupt the balance here and will also arouse Onyxia’s anger.

If you are a Horde player, you can give Onyxia’s head to the chief after winning to complete Victory for the Horde quest.
