Wo Long Fallen Dynasty: Tips For Unlocking Secret Spells

Source: IGGMToday, we’re going to be talking about how to get the secret spells in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty.
The Locked Spells
Recently, I often hear a couple of different people asking how to get the secret spells at the top of the skill trees. If don’t know what I’m talking about, please take a look at the first image.
You’ll notice at the top of the spell trees, there are a couple of different spells that are locked. These are going to be the spells that I’m referring to. Each spell tree is going to have up to three spells. But these are going to be the highest damaging or biggest spells that the spell trees have. These spells are going to be locked.
And there’s two things that you need to do to unlock them all:
First Thing To Do
Now, the first thing you want to do is you want to go to Travel and after you go to Travel, you want to go over to Other. And then, go to the first sub battlefield, which is called Wizardry Spell Mastery.
Now, what this sub battlefield is going to do is it’s going to have you fight a bunch of different enemies. It’s kind of like a mini boss rush. There are a couple of different bosses, but these are all enemies that you’ve probably fought by the time you do this. So, you’re are going to be okay.
It’s not that difficult. You just have to defeat all the enemies stay on your toes and you should be good. But after you beat that sub battlefield, you will unlock some of the locked spells on your spell trees. After you do that, then you could continue to play some interesting game content. You can play whatever you want.
Second Thing To Do
Then, after you get to a certain part, that’s later in the game. You will actually unlock the second sub battlefield, which is called the Scarlet Crystal.
Now obviously, after you unlock this, you’ll come back here and you will do it and all this is going to do is have you fight Hong Jing. This boss fight isn’t too difficult, but you do want to watch out because Hong Jing does throw a couple of powerful spells and if you’re not paying attention, you can’t end up one-shotting. Don’t worry. If you use Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Genuine Qi to equip yourself, you will be strong enough to defeat this boss.
But for the most part, it’s pretty easy. All you have to do is beat her and then, after beating her, you will unlock the rest of the locked spells.
After unlocking the rest of the locked spells, all you have to do now is go and put some skill points into that spell. So, you can unlock it and then, at that point, you can use it if you have enough points into that virtue.
Most people won’t tell you what I’m going to say next. That is because if you hover it early on before you have the sub battlefields, it’ll just have three question marks. Once you get the Battlefield, it’ll tell you to go to that battlefield. But if you never go back and look, you’ll never find this out. So, anyway, that is how you get the secret spells or locked spells.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty: What Are Morale Rank And Fortitude Rank? - Beginners Guide
This is a quick guide explaining Morale Rank and Fortitude Rank in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty.
What Is Morale?
At the beginning of the game, several mechanics are explained on the screen one after another and it all gets a little confusing. One of these is the morale ranking system.
As you can see, I have a zero here. This is our current Morale Rank. As I kill enemies, an orange ring starts filling up around the number zero and when it’s full, our Morale Rank levels up. So, what is this?
This is the dual purpose system of morale. The higher your morale is, the more damage you will do and the less you will take. But this also applies to the enemies. You’ll notice each enemy and boss has a Morale Rank when in combat. It’s simple, whoever or whatever.
Having the highest Morale Rank will be at an advantage. So, if you go up against an enemy with a higher Morale Rank than yourself, you will do less damage to it and it will do more damage to you. If your Morale Rank is higher, though, you will be the one doing more damage and you will be the one taking less damage.
Of course, this all comes down to risk and reward as the higher your enemy’s Morale Rank, the better rarity of items it will drop and you’ll receive better rewards in general.
Losing Morale
Now, as mentioned, killing enemies increases your Morale Rank, but if an enemy kills you, then your Morale Rank will go down. In fact, at the start of the game or area, your rank will reset to zero. This is not good. You will also lose Morale Ranks when you’re hit by an enemy’s Critical Blow. You’ll know these as those scary red charge attacks that devastate your health bar.
What Is Fortitude?
And of course, the same goes if you deliver a Critical Blow on an enemy, you will lower their Morale Rank. But not to worry as we have an insurance policy. This is called Fortitude. If you look up to the top right of the screen, you will see three pieces of information:
The top icon, an orange ring with a downward arrow, is your current Fortitude Rank. Then below, you have two flag icons with numbers next to them. Every time you plant a Battle Flag or a Marking Flag throughout the level, your Fortitude Rank will increase and this becomes your lowest possible Morale Rank. Here’s an example.
I have died and my Morale Rank has reset to zero. But after planting a Battle Flag, my fortitude rank has increased to level two. This means that when I die now again, the lowest my Morale Rank will drop to is two. And as we plant more flags throughout the area, our Fortitude Rank will increase.
But there are still penalties for dying. When you die, the enemy that kills you will hold your morale points and 50% of your Genuine Qi. Genuine Qi is your level up currency like Souls in Dark Souls.
Revenge
Now, this is where revenge and re-challenge come into play. The enemy that kills you will be holding your morale and your Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Genuine Qi and you’ll see a flame around their Morale Rank, indicating this.
Get your revenge by defeating the enemy and you will get your morale and Genuine Qi back. When it comes to bosses, if they kill you, all you have to do is re-enter their boss fight and you will immediately get your morale and genuine key back at the start of the fight.
Now, the game states that morale also opens up more battle options. This seems to mainly be referring to Wizardry Spells as spells require a certain Morale Rank to cast. So, it goes without saying you want to get as high morale as possible when taking on harder enemies and bosses.
Summary
Generally speaking, if you find all of the flags in an area before the boss, your base morale level should put you on a par with the boss.
To make it fair, farming Morale Ranks is generally quite easy. Find an enemy near a Battle Flag, kill them, rest and reset the flag and then go again. The max Morale Rank you can have is 25.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Rookie Guide
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty used numerous historical figures in the game, and they use some key historical nodes as the main task line of the game. But it has also made some major changes to these historical figures and key scenes.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a fighting game that adapts the story of Romance of Three Kingdoms into a battle between players and Demons. Among them is Taoist swaying Elixir in the arena, and all objects and even players touched will be corrupted.
Of course, the battle is time-limited, and usually players will use defense as the main purpose of the battle process. As Nioh’s devs have said before, if you’re victorious in Wedu, there will be plenty of rewards for RPG Elements, Equipment, and Weapons. You don’t have to worry about this challenge being difficult, as long as you follow this guide carefully.
Start Preparing
When you first start your adventure in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, you might feel a bit lost and confused, not knowing where to start. So first you need to prepare yourself for the adventure ahead.
Before you start playing, you might want to know some stats for gear upgrades, how combat works, how to summon friends for multiplayer battles, and tips for getting started. Before you dive in, it’s good to know the basics of the game by going through this guide in detail.
Actually, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s upgrade system is very similar to Nioh 2, Dark Souls, and Elden Ring. Players in Wo Long can upgrade their characters by obtaining Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Genuine Qi, which is also your upgrade currency.
As you level up, your character takes on five different states, often referred to as Virtues. The game mechanics and the skills of the different Virtues will also be revealed here in detail.
Players can also learn the crafting and forging of weapons by meeting Blacksmith NPC in the second Main Battlefield. You can experiment with crafting different weapons and armor and assigning different stats to each outfit. Players can also get some new weapons and equipment from NPCs, and these NPCs will also become players’ Followers.
Side Quest
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will complete different tasks according to different levels of clues on the Major Battlefield. Of course, each mission also has its corresponding rewards for rare items and upgrade materials.
Players will find many Battle Flag rest points and Marking Flags in different levels, but the location of Marking Flags is generally hidden and not so easy to find.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will also have some side quests that players can do. These side quest players can all be found in Hidden Village. However, the locations where these side missions appear are always random, and players need to find them by themselves. And these tasks cannot provide relatively generous rewards.
Boss Guide
Just like Nioh 2 or other games of the same genre, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty also has some very powerful bosses that the player is not so easy to defeat easily. Every major battlefield will have a main boss appearing. Players must successfully defeat it to complete the ending task at this level.
There are also some levels where you will encounter two bosses of the same level in the arena, and the difficulty will increase instantly. Or you will re-encounter the powerful boss you have faced in the arena. This requires players not only to beat the boss but also to summarize the best way to defeat the boss, to ensure that you can face the next challenge in an orderly manner.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - Guide To Defeating Bo Cai
'The Yellow Heaven Burns,' one of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s first selectable side battlegrounds, looks pretty standard in design. Except for Changgui players who need some effort to defeat, it can easily deal with other enemies with in a few hits.
Among them, Bo Cai is an exception. Bo Cai looks like a normal human NPC, not other monsters. However, its Life Pool is very deep, and its unique attack skills and allies who have been helping him attack all show that we should not underestimate Bo Cai.
Even in combat, players rate defeating Bo Cai as one of the most tough battles in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. But once the player has the right strategy, defeating Bo Cai will not be so difficult.
All players should prepare for battle before fighting to make this fight a little easier. Players can go to the nearest flag and make sure this Divine Beast, Reinforcements, and weapons and armor are positioned correctly. If you don’t prepare well for a fight, there’s a good chance you’ll start fighting all over again.
Like the prerequisites for completing many missions, if players want to kill the ultimate boss, then maximizing Morality and Fortitude is essential, and it can also make your battle more effective.
Players can help make this fight easier by killing more enemies next to the previously resting flag to get Morality to 25 as quickly as possible. At the same time, the banner obtained by the player after killing the enemy can also increase Fortitude, thereby reducing the penalty for the player after losing the battle. Also, don’t forget to keep Divine Beast Meter fully charged at all times. Many players with earlier character builds will find that Bo Cai isn’t too difficult to beat in one-on-one combat. But if you meet him with two friends by his side, it will be difficult.
One of them is even capable of killing players in the air. But as far as the weapon level table is concerned, Staff will be more dangerous than Straight Saber, so they recommend that you focus on killing the people on the left first.
The remaining one is not an elite, insignificant, and the player can kill him as soon as possible to fight one-on-one with Bo Cai. In fact, the purpose of defeating most bosses is the same. Players want to defeat Bo Cai to understand his skills faster and sum up experience.
Bo Cai’s most commonly used weapon is Spear Thrust. Bo Cai will grab the tip of Spear and attack around him with himself as the center. From this, he will jab forward, doing an Arcing Attack.
Players should avoid being attacked by Bo Cai under the right circumstances. Players can usually easily dodge the first two attacks of Bo Cai, but when facing the third attack, the player needs to back a certain distance in time to quickly dodge.
Bo Cai unfortunately hit if he will briefly recover on the side for a while. It is best for the player to attack Bo Cai quickly with his weapon before being re-hit.Although Bo Cai’s appearance doesn’t look aggressive, it’s just an appearance. Bo Cai will swing his Spear Thrust at the player after turning red, however, the swing at this time is not really attacking the player. Bo Cai will slowly walk around behind the player, raising Spear Thrust for a sneak attack.
Bo Cai has another attack method, he will use Spear Thrust to stab the player’s head directly instead of sneaking around behind, but the use time of the ability is the same.
Bo Cai doesn’t die instantly when he is knocked down for the first time, players just need to use this Divine Beast to give him a final blow to kill him successfully.
If the player wants to try to defeat Bo Cai, it is important to prepare before the battle. You can help your gear level up by getting enough Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Genuine Qi. Hope you have a pleasant gaming experience.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty: How To Take Lu Bu Boss Down?
In this article, I was going to show you my strategy for the Lu Bu boss fight. I know a lot of people are struggling with this one, so I wanted to give you some tips things that I found that work really well for this build.
Lu Bu Mounted
Let’s start off at the beginning, where he is mounted in combat. When you go in, usually, he shoots a shot at you and the best thing you can do here is just dodge or quickly deflect.
Then, he’s going usually to charge at you with one of two red attacks: one that’s like really fast, a straight charge at you and one where he jumps up into the air and then sort of like makes a triangle down to you. So, he’ll go like kind of up at an angle and then down at an angle onto really quickly.
The first one, the direct charge, is much faster and the second one is slower, but it’s deceptive because the part where he likes to elevate into the air is slower part where he comes down is faster. So, you need to get these down in time these quickly. His actions on Horseback are probably much easier than what he does when he’s on foot, so getting this part down is just going to make the fight easier.
He usually does these two things over and over besides like random melee attacks and bow shots ring is horseback phases. They aren’t different, so he does this later on in the fight and also at the beginning of the fight. Just get used to deflect these red attacks and you’ll get him off horseback real quick.
Lu Bu On Foot
Now obviously, fighting him on foot is the challenge part of this fight and one of the things that makes a little more difficult is the fact that the horse continuously charges around the circle and the arena. So, if you don’t stay kind of in the center-ish area, you risk being hit by that horse. Try and keep your positioning to the middle of the arena if you find you’re getting off too far to one side kind of sprint back to the middle and reposition yourself.
Therefore, you don’t also have to worry too much about that horse during the fight. Now, there are a few attacks to look out for. Let’s talk about the critical attacks first: one where he sort of slams his spear down fire on the ground and then jumps into the air. You’re going to want to make sure that you wait for the last possible second to deflect this.
It takes a second longer than you think it should, he kind of comes down pretty slowly, so make sure you don’t press deflect too early with this and make sure you let it connect with you before hitting that deflect button. Otherwise, you’re going to do it too early and you’re going to get struck by this attack.
Another critical attack he does is where he sort of puts his spear into the ground and leaves a fire trail as he charges at you and again, this is another one where you have a tendency to deflect too early. Make sure you wait for him to be right up on top of you when you do this and before you deflect.
Another thing is if you see him do this when you’re really close to you, it can be nearly impossible to deflect this unless you have perfect timing.
What I suggest doing if he does this while you’re like point blank is just dodging quickly to the right and getting out of the way from him because obviously his spear is going to be on the opposite side of you if you dodge to the right. And he’ll usually just fly right by you and miss.
If you see him doing this when you’re Point Blank, just dodge out of the way. But, if you see him you know a good distance away, make sure you get in there for that deflect, so you can get Spirit depletion on it.
The last critical attack he does is one where he sort of like spins real quick and then he’ll do like a follow-up thrust. If you get hit by that first attack, it’s really hard to recover in time for the second attack. So, make sure even if you do get struck, you’re still trying to deflect that second attack.
Sometimes, he does this when you’re right on top of him and it’s hard to get a read whether he’s going to do the charge or a spin and you have like a split second to decide. This can be a very hard one to read and most of the time, I just recommend trying to dodge out of the way of this once you see it coming much like you would dodge out of the way of the charge attack if it’s Point Blank. That way you at least don’t get hit, and it’s a better trade-off than just taking a ton of damage from this attack.
Beyond these attacks, the challenging part is reading and deflecting his combos. He has very different combos, different timings and learning all these takes a few tries to say the least. And you really need to focus when you’re fighting him on foot on deflecting these attacks don’t be overly aggressive just simply read these attacks deflect them get in a hit or two.
If you have any sort of ranged spells when he jumps away to shoot at you with this bow, you can throw ranged attacks at him and deflect throw more ranged attacks at him. Make sure you’re getting chip damage on them. Fire Spells work badly for this build. I don’t recommend you to use it. No good build can be done without the support of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Genuine Qi, so you need to prepare a little bit more in advance.
He seems to resist fire pretty significantly. I would suggest something like poison putting damage over time on him if you can. But, you basically want to get any range damage you can on forward safe to deal damage and you don’t have to worry about some crazy combo.
Another challenging part for this fight is trying to heal and get separation heal, so make sure you take the opportunity to heal when you can, even if you’re at like half health and even though it’s maybe not the best use of a health pot when you’re at half health.
Sometimes, that’ll keep you alive because you might not have an opening to heal again before he does like two or three combos and maybe they only deal half your health bar. But you only have half your health bar because you haven’t healed, so try and keep your health above three quarters of health if you can. That’s another tip.
Lu Bu Boss Fight Tips
Two final tips I can give you is first make sure your morale is at 25 when you go into this fight. This is going to make things easier to take the time to farm enemies outside. If you’re not at 25 morale, make sure you get the flags, etc.
And this might take you five minutes to 10 minutes depending on how much morale you need to farm, but that’s going to be faster. This fight will go easier. It’ll go faster than spending it and they’re dying for another five to ten minutes. It’ll give you a much better chance of doing this fight because it’ll make him easier to defeat. So, make sure that you go get your morale for 25.
Finally, make sure you have at least six Dragon Cure Pot uses for this fight. There are at least that many at this point in the game. If you don’t have at least that many, I would recommend going back for previous missions and finding the items that increases your Dragon Cure Pot uses in those missions in order to have at least six because if you only have like four or five for this fight it’s going to be rough.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty: A Complete Guide For Zhang Liang Boss Fight
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty has just been released. As I said, this game is still very difficult. I thought lots of people particularly get stuck in the boss fight for Zhang Liang. So, in this article, I will give you several strategies in order to help you take this boss down.
Zhang Liang Phase 1
So, the primary strategy was Zhang Liang, which is like other bosses in the game, though I feel like he’s probably a bit tankier than a lot of the other ones you’ll fight. He is that you’re going to want to deplete his Spirit Gauge and then do Fatal Strikes. This is a staple throughout the game and this boss was really teaching you this fundamental.
So, the best way to do that is to deflect his red glowing attacks. He has two different ones. One where he sort of charges at you and then, like, stops for a second and then sweeps. So, make sure when you deflect you, wait that second after he charges and you don’t panic deflect.
The other one he tends to do while you’re up on top of him, which he kind of like grabs his hammer and he like swings it from the ground up at you and again this has a bit more of a delay than you would think. So, if you panic deflect, you’re going to get hit by that attack. So, make sure you wait a split second before deflecting.
Now, besides this, you’re obviously going to be looking to deflect his other attacks and then attack afterward. Be careful when you attack afterward and not to be too aggressive because sometimes times you can get locked into an animation and he’ll do one of his red attacks and you’ll not be able to get deflected in time and it’ll hit you.
So, only attack like once or twice afterward and then get ready to deflect immediately and you should play defensively in Phase One. This is also the case with Phase Two, but you should play defensively here. Just waiting for those red attacks to happen, punishing those red attacks and just trying to stay alive and deal a little damage here and there where you can while deflecting his regular attacks.
Zhang Liang Phase 2
Phase two is a little more complicated and its attacks are different, so you have to learn the timing on how to read them.
But the strategy is similar. You want to stay in front of them, about close to mid-range. You don’t want to be very far away from him. The reason for that is that one of his like red glowing attacks actually throws his arm at you and if you’re too far away, you won’t be able to deflect it. You need to deflect that attack.
The fastest way to win this fight is deflecting his red attacks. And if you’re out of range, you cannot do that. This is very easy to read. The timing might take you a couple tries to get down. But you want to punish that attack every time, just about every time you punish that attack. If you attack once or twice afterward, it’ll be staggered and you’ll be able to get a Fatal Strike.
Again, just like Phase One, you’re going to be playing defensively when you’re standing in front of him, waiting for that red attack to happen. You will not be attacking like crazy. You will not be super aggressive with your Martial Arts or your spells or anything like that. When you can, take opportunities to hit them. By the way, if you're rich enough, you can equip yourself with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty GQ before fighting.
Generally, you’re going to be ready to deflect at a moment’s notice. So, watch his attacks, get ready to deflect and attack when you can. But don’t be really aggressive with it and just wait for those red attacks. He has a second red attack, and he does where he sort of like sweeps upwards and sweeps upward the other way and then sweeps upward as he walks forward. And this one is pretty easy to counterattack or to deflect if you read it right. Sometimes, it might take you a few tries. I mess it up here a couple of times.
But that one is also a good one. It’s not as good as the other one in terms of the spirit build up you get because you actually like to break his arm on that one in it reduces the size of a Spirit Gauge significantly. But you still want to punish that one if you see it.
Zhang Liang Boss Fight Tips
The last tip I want to give you here is you should watch your Divine Beast gauge on the right side of the screen on the bottom right. You’ll notice throughout this fight in the phase two that it starts building up.
It fills up as you attack and deflect. Once that it starts glowing, meaning it’s active. You want to hit circle and triangle or the buttons that activate your Divine Beast on PC, whatever that is for you. You want to hit those immediately. That will instantly end the fight. You do not actually have a Divine Beast at this point in the game, but for some reason, that will end this fight.

What You Should Know Before You Buy Wo Long Fallen Dynasty?
Taday, one of the biggest games is going to drop you may or may not have even known about.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is a Dark Souls like game similar to Elden Ring that combines Sakiro, Neo and Elden Ring all into one game that could be literally amazing and super fun to play.
This game’s combat style is much based around Dark Souls type combat, such as Elden Ring was initially where you will fight enemies and a lot of bosses to go through and progress in this hack and slash based adventure.
This game is going to be decently hard playing through the demo we’ve already experienced bosses that are definitely pretty hard and difficult to defeat. This game is going to be super fun.
This game also includes a lot of sakiro-like gameplay where the fighting styles are of those of ancient China and magic and stuff similar to the Fallen Dynasty, where you will again have to find incredibly powerful enemies and bosses.
This game also combines gameplay and graphical aspects of Neos and another game similar to these two, which features ancient-like creatures from other Dynasty like games even a little similar to Dynasty Warriors in a way. This game is insane.

This game is also difficult in most spots and boss fights where you’re going to have to time and use your abilities appropriately in order to beat enemies as you come across them. Is Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Hard To Play?
Now, if you’ve never played a Dark Souls game, this game is dark souls-esque. I don’t know if it’s going to be as hard yet, but it is still going to be difficult.
So, if you’re not used to difficult games heads up, this one still is probably going to be pretty difficult. You can, however, involve and invite your friends to playing Co-op play to help you advance throughout the game, beat certain bosses and play together just to have fun.
There was a Qi in certain attack based systems in this game that you are going to have to learn in order to master how to fight enemies in this game.
And the storyline itself is based on a falling current civilization within the Fallen Dynasty. Your job is to defeat enemies and bring a light back to the Three Kingdoms and on the way you’re going to face a lot of trouble guys.
