In previous updates to Diablo 2: Resurrected, many of the fixes were related to specific types of damage output. So players are at a loss when encountering monsters that are immune to this type of damage in RPG games. The release of New Diablo 2: Resurrected solves this problem. As it is known in the instructions in the PTR patch that players can get some charms to fight these damage-immune monsters.

The new Diablo 2: Resurrected Sundered Charms actually represent six different magic items. You can only gain charms from rare, unique, and champion monsters in the terrorized zones by defeating them. You'd better be mentally prepared for a tough fight, as these monsters will be several levels above the person hosting the game.

The six charms are The Black Cleft, The Bone Break, The Cold Rupture, The Crack of the Heavens, The Flame Rift and The Rotting Fissure. They can break the monster's immunity to magic, physics, ice, lightning, fire, and poison.

Blizzard explained in the latest PTR patch notes: Monsters in the game are immune to a particular damage because they have 100% or higher resistance. And what Sundered Charms do is reducing their resistance to specific damage to 95%, so that specific damage output will still deal a little damage to these monsters.

However, players need to be aware that these six charms will still carry debuffs themselves. Although charms can break the monster's anti-epidemic ability against a certain type of damage, it will also cause damage of the same damage type to the carrier. Here is an example. The role of The Bone Break is to destroy the monster's immunity to physical damage, and at the same time, it will also cause 25% of the physical damage to the person who carries the charm.

From the above description, we can know that players can obtain Sundered Charms by fighting monsters in terroristized zones. But currently, players can only use these charms through one of the new PTR character templates added on September 15th. There are 13 templates in total, and they are all unlockable from level 85. Each template can only experience one type of sundering charms.
