6. Teldrassil
This is the habitat of the popular Night Elf, but it is not a good starting zone because once you leave Shadowglen, you will find that the rest of Teldrassil is full of dangerous tomb nests, which are inhabited by many monsters. Although clearing them can bring a lot of 20th Anniversary Gold, the high density of monsters is not suitable for a new character to face.
In addition, due to the circular shape of Teldrassil, you are rarely far away from your target, which makes it difficult to avoid enemy attacks by pulling away in combat. However, these are not to say that Teldrassil is useless. In fact, it may be the best of all the starting zones in terms of aesthetics, and due to its small overall area, it will save time to explore - provided that you are strong enough to defeat all enemies within range.
5. Mulgore
One reason why Mulgore is unpopular may be that Tauren race living here is not popular. Even if someone chooses Tauren, it is probably because it is the only Druid in Horde. However, what really affects the popularity of Mulgore is that although it is beautiful, it is very large. If you don’t have a mount, it may take half an hour to visit each location, and because the quests are scattered, you may even have to run all over the zone.
Even more tricky is that the danger of crossing between areas in Mulgore is also very high. For example, when you reach the wasteland, you may not be able to guarantee that you can survive smoothly, whether in Hardcore or Classic 20th Anniversary. However, the advantage of Mulgore is that the scenery here is good, and the strength of Tauren is enough to handle most quests within the range.
4. Dun Morogh
In terms of the beauty of the landscape, Dun Morogh is famous in the game community for its moving snow scenery. If you choose this as the starting zone, although it takes a lot of time to cross the entire zone, fortunately, the exploration of Ironforge and the mountains is not very difficult, and the quests can provide a lot of WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Gold as rewards, and the difficulty is not too high.
Although there are a few dangerous caves in this zone, it is much better than Teldrassil or Mulgore, and the connection between Ironforge and Stormwind also makes the journey between areas easier. 3. Tirisfal Glades
The areas in this zone have a high quest and monster appearance rate, which can improve your gold farming efficiency. Among all the areas, Deathknell is the fastest and easiest, and the spider cave is more difficult. But after leaving Deathknell, you will find that the road to other areas will be tortuous, and you may always have to go back. Perhaps this is the main reason Tirisfal Glades did not enter the top 2.
2. Durotar
This is the starting area for Orcs and Trolls. It is vast and very difficult to cross. Fortunately, the quest density here is very high, which can ensure that your journey is fulfilling and meaningful. You can knock down three or four enemies during almost every trip, and most of the quests are also simple, just clean the map or collect some props.
In addition, Durotar’s Ragefire Chasm, as the lowest level dungeon in the game, can still provide you with some excellent equipment at a lower difficulty. However, please be careful of Fizzle and his gang, as well as Skull Rock when traversing Durotar.
1. Elwynn Forest
In fact, not only in World of WarCraft series, Elwynn Forest can even be regarded as the most famous explorable zone in most MMORPGs. For WoW 20th Anniversary players, the exploration difficulty here is not high. There is almost no real threat except for Hogger or some kobold caves. You can even get your first green out in the game through Hogger’s quest.
