A new leaderboard tournament has been introduced in Monopoly GO called Downtown Marathon. While the title doesn’t necessarily sound superhero-themed, it’s still just as big a deal as the previous tournaments.

The tournament begins on October 11 and ends on October 12, 2024 at 2 PM ET or 11 AM PT.

How To Score Points In Downtown Marathon?

In this tournament, points are accumulated mainly by landing on the railroad tiles. The rewards you receive are related to your performance in the Shutdown and Bank Heist games.

Shutdown

• Blocked: Two Points
• Successful: Four Points

Bank Heist

• Small: Four Points
• Large: Six Points
• Bankrupt: Eight Points

If you use a higher dice roll multiplier to land on the railroad tiles in your event, the points you receive will also increase accordingly, especially when approaching the railroad or a chance tile.

In addition, Avengers Racers is also running, so your daily tournament rewards will mainly be free tokens for Avengers Racers throughout the event.
