  • Elden Ring: The 5 Best Mage Builds In Patch 1.09.1!

    Posted: May 13, 2023

Today, I’m going to show you five Mage builds that are definitely worth trying in Elden Ring patch 1.09.1.

    Greatsword Mage Build

The first thing we’re going to talk about is Greatsword Mage Build. This build includes Dark Moon Greatsword and Glintstone Staffs, along with access to the ancient Comet Azur.

This will allow you to negate FP if you use Cerulean Hidden Tear. This way you can basically use that plain Observer for a long time without even using any of your Flask.

If you use it with Magic Scorpion Charm, it will increase your magic attack by 10%. Also, using Shard of Alexander increases it by 10%.

It’s an exceptional skill because when you activate Dark Moon Greatsword, you can cast that spell by simply holding down the weight. Not only that, but I also attached a Graven-Mass Talisman and a Graven-School Talisman, so I could get an extra boost to my magic damage.

I also decided to use Godfrey Icon, as this really buffs our charge spell attacks. This helps a lot when you’re using Commander Niall.

    Heavy Knight

The second build I recommend has to do with Greatsword. You want to make sure you upgrade Greatsword to about level 7, and then you also infuse it with weights so it extra damage.

We also have Lion’s Claw, because that’s a phenomenal Ash of War. It’s one of the best in the game right now because it works with a lot of builds. You’ll be at ease throughout the game with just this weapon.

Having said that, I have Millicent’s Prosthesis equipped. Because it increases your attack power and dexterity as you keep attacking.

Next we’re going to equip Ritual Sword Talisman, and we’re going to do 10% more damage. Because when our HP reaches Max, our damage increases by 10%. Then if we add something like Shard of Alexander, that adds another 10% to the damage.

Now there is another option, and that is Warrior Jar Shard. It only increases your damage by 10%. However, if you stack Shard of Alexander at this time, it will only add 5% extra damage on top of that.

    Bestial Beast

Now moving on to the third build, Bestial Beast. This build will contain Faithful’s Canvas Talisman. You can also stack it with Flock’s Canvas Talisman and they will combine perfectly.

This increases our Holy Damage by 12%. So it also increases damage when you use spells like Beast Claw because it’s based on Faith.

Also, I use the weapon, Beastclaw Greathammer. It has impressive skills that will help you take down mobs. Of course, you can also experiment with other weapons if you want to make sure you still have the best tool to increase the damage of your Bestial Incantations.

    Blasphemous Of Milos

As the fourth build, Blasphemous of Milos is probably the best one in the game. Because what you can use is a Sword of Milos.

When we use Shriek of Milos, any surrounding enemies nearby will receive this debuff. But a little, which will give us some time to attack will negate the damage because of course they have negated the damage. So this weapon doesn’t do much damage.

If you use Blasphemous Blade, it will give you a certain amount of HP every time you kill an enemy. And when an enemy is killed, Milos also gives you extra FP damage.

For these Talismans, I would use Shard of Alexander for 10% of damage. We’ll be using Flock’s Canvas Talisman, Ax Talisman, and Ritual Sword Talisman. So we can also increase our damage in this area as well as spells.

    Pyromancer

In the end, we’ll use the exact same stats as we did in the previous build. Because you can alternate between them.

So we’ll use Raptor’s Set and Claw Talisman. Because when we jump with Magma Blade, this increases the damage considerably. If we use something like Golden Vow, we can increase damage by at least 20%.

Another thing you can try if you want more damage is to use something like Millicent’s Prosthesis and Winged Sword Insignia. Because the two are stacked together, the overall damage is increased.

Those are the five Mage builds that I think players are well worth trying out in Elden Ring patch 1.09.1, along with applicable weapons and gear. You can also use Elden Ring Runes to get some other gear to make this build even more powerful. To note, you can also use the code “CSCCA” to get you 5% off. Come and try it out.
