In Diablo Season 7, Witch Powers is the theme of this season. Occult Gems are also new items in Season 7. They can be used with Witch Powers to exert greater power.
Unlike Witch Powers, Occult Gems require players to collect materials to craft. And crafting Occult Gems does not require gold, but many fragments, and you also need to participate in Headhunts and collect Fugitive Heads. Occult Gems are more powerful than ordinary gems, and their performance is much better than traditional gems. Each Occult Gem can provide your character with high armor and other effect bonuses.
Occult Gems
There are three different types of mysterious gems:
- Magic Rarity
- Rare Rarity
- Legendary Rarity
The higher the rarity, the better the effect of these Occult Gems. At the same time, each gem can provide your character with 8% of all resistances and 160 armor. To make Occult Gems of different rarity, you need Occult Gems of the previous rarity as raw materials. Magic Rarity Occult Gems need Fugitive Heads to make.
If you want to make Occult Gems quickly, you need to participate in Headhunts a lot. Not only can you get Fugitive Heads in this event, you can also get a lot of fragments and Diablo 4 Gold.

1. Wicked Pact
Common Eldritch Powers are 25% more potent.

Common Psyche Powers are 25% more potent.

Common Growth & Decay Powers are 25% more potent.

4. Phantom String
Deal 15% increased Overpower Damage to Hexed enemies.

5. Elder Sigil
Agility, Corpse, Incarnate, Mastery, Weapon Mastery, and Wrath skills deal 25% increased direct damage to Hexed enemies.

6. Vulture Talon
While you have an Aura active, DoT effects tick 50% faster.

7. Pointed Finger
Summons deal 15% more direct damage to Hexed Elites.

Rare Rarity Occult Gems
1. Killing Wind
While you have three or more Eldritch powers equipped, gain 15% Critical Strike Chance and 25% Movement Speed.

- 75,000 Skull Fragments
- 1 Elder Sigil
- 1 Wicked Pact
2. Cornucopia
While you have three or more Growth & Decay powers equipped, generate 30% more Barrier and Fortify, and gain 30% more Thorns.
Requires:
- 75,000 Skull Fragments
- 1 Vulture Talon
- 1 Toadling’s Wish
3. Hungering Void
As you have an Aura active, pull Nearby enemies toward you every 8 seconds.
Requires:
- 75,000 Skull Fragments
- 1 Elder Sigil
- 1 Wicked Pact
4. Vile Phylactery
Fatal damage is prevented when you have a Summon Witch Power. You then gain a Barrier equal to 100% of your Max Life, and all Summon Witch Powers are disabled for 6 seconds. Occurs once every 75 seconds.

5. Raging Enigma
Your Unique Witch Power deals 40% more damage.

- 75,000 Skull Fragments
- 1 Wicked Pact

6. Spiral Coin
While you have three or more Psyche powers equipped, gain 30% Crowd Control Duration and 20% Lucky Hit Chance.

Legendary Rarity Occult Gems
1. Dust Stone
Enemies take 2.5% more damage for each Aura and Hex affecting them.

- 1 Hungering Void
2. Witching Hour
Every 1 second, the next Core skill you cast counts as an Eldritch Witch Power when you have three or more Eldritch powers equipped.

- 1 Pointed Finger
- 1 Phantom String
- 1 Killing Wind
3. Mind Wreath
While you have three or more Psyche powers equipped, your Defensive, Macabre, Trap Skills gain 20% Cooldown Reduction.

- 1 Spiral Coin
4. Voice Of The Stars
While you have an Aura active, your Ultimate is treated as all Witchcraft Power tags and deals 10% more damage.

5. Friend Of The Bog
While you have three or more Growth & Decay equipped, gain 8% more Primary Core Stats, 10% Max Life, and Unhindered.

- 1 Vile Phylactery
6. Moonlight Ward
For each rank of your Unique Witchcraft Power, gain 3% Damage Reduction and 0.5% Maximum Resistance to All Elements.

It takes a lot of fragments to create Occult Gems. In addition to hunting monsters in Headhunt area to obtain fragments, you can also do Infernal Hordes quest and open the material box in this quest.
Many of the effects of Occult Gems are directly auxiliary to Witch Powers or are affected by Witch Powers. The two work together to exert greater power in Season 7. Choosing the right combination of Occult Gems and Witch Powers can greatly improve the efficiency of farming gold and defeating Bosses.
Players can first confirm which build they want to play in Season 7, then match Witch Powers for it according to the characteristics of the build, and finally choose Occult Gems based on Witch Powers. Occult Gems can only be placed in accessories, and only one can be placed at a time, so choose carefully. Don’t waste fragments to create an Occult Gem you don’t need.
