How To Unlock Dark Citadel Activity?

Before officially starting this Activity, the first thing you need to do is to Unlock this Activity so that you can enter it. As a difficult Raid, Unlocking conditions of Dark Citadel are not very simple, and players need to complete the following pre-game content:

• Reach Level 60.
• Unlock Torment 1 Difficulty.
• Currently be in a Torment 1+ World.
• Beat Base game’s Campaign. Successfully Killing Lilith.

After you complete these, System will allow you to start a purple priority Quest titled Crater Of Lost Souls. Completing this Quest will officially Unlock Dark Citadel.

How To Find Dark Citadel?

Before finding Dark Citadel, you must first know the location of Warrior’s Camp. The location of this Camp is not specifically marked, but is highlighted as a whole Area on Map. Warrior’s Camp is located in the northeast of this Area.

After finding Warrior’s Camp and completing Crater Of Lost Souls Quest, you can find a Waypoint called Rise Of The Khazra in Area corresponding to Quest, which is the entrance to Dark Citadel. The specific entrance can be found through one of the three Doorways in Room.

How To Complete Dark Citadel Activity?

In Diablo 4 series of games, the main way to complete such Activities is to solve Puzzles and Boss Battles. Dark Citadel is no exception. There are four main things that players need to solve in Dark Citadel Activity.

1. Soul Siphons

This Puzzle works similarly to Blood Altar Activity in Overworld. To solve it, the first thing to do is to Charge Siphons. The specific operation is as follows:

• Click on Siphons to Activate.
• Have your game Character stand in the highlighted Area
• Wait light fills Crystal on the top of Soul Siphons completely.

Later, when Soul Siphons are fully Charged, Crystal will fall closer to the floor and dim. You must Activate both Soul Siphons in the same Room before you can proceed.

Once everything is done, you also need to pick up the glowing objects that all Soul Siphons dropped on the floor and place them in Altar near Door.

It is worth noting that if you team up with other players to solve this Puzzle, Soul Siphons can be Recharged faster. And all Soul Siphons can be Activated and Recharged at the same time. Obviously, the efficiency of teaming up will be higher.

2. Spirit Realm Teleportation

This Puzzle is usually used in Boss Battles. To solve it, it is best to team up, and you and your Teammates need to first Charge Portal in the center of Room. Follow the instructions below.

First Kill Gateway Guardian Elite Monsters to spawn Soul Shards on the ground. Then pick up these Soul Shards and Walk over Gateway to deposit collected Soul Shards.

After you collect enough Soul Shards, Gateway will automatically Activate and play the animation. After the animation is finished, the player standing in the glowing circular Area when this animation completes will be Teleported to Spirit Realm.

In Spirit Realm, you need to find and retrieve a marked Quest Item. Once Item is found, pick it up and return to Teleporter to return to the normal Dark Citadel Area.

Finally, Place the object into Spherical Statue in the same Room as Teleporter and you are done.

This Puzzle is harder to solve and will also appear during Last Boss Fight. In addition, when the player Travels through Spirit World, Impending Doom can be Stacked.

3. Group Door Puzzles

First of all, completing this Puzzle requires players to work in a group. Solving Puzzle requires players to remove Obstacles, and one player must stand on Button of the corresponding color, and then the other player can pass through Door to the other side.

These Doors have two Variations. One is that the second player can immediately stand on another Button to open Door for the first player.

The second is that there will be several Doors, one of which leads to Corridor. The second player must go down Corridor and interact with Statue at the end, which will Unlock a path for the first player.

4. Barrier Guardians

Puzzle is solved in one Room. There is a glowing Barrier on Door at the front of Room, and several symbols on the ground. Players usually encounter this Puzzle during Final Boss Fight of Labrinth Of Souls, The Second Wing Of Dark Citadel.

To solve it, first you need to find and Kill Barrier Guardians, then pick up Items in Alcoves. These Items usually appear when Barrier Guardians Die.

You can then use Teleporter in Alcove to return to the central Area and place Dropped Items on Pillars with the corresponding symbols on top. Repeat these steps until all Pillars are completed.

Finally, press Button on the circular Statue behind one of Pillars. You can eliminate Barrier and move on.
