  • Palworld: Best Cheese Strategy To Capture Legendary Pal Jetragon

    Posted: Feb 03, 2024

Jetragon is an extremely powerful Legendary Pal that will help any player fight hard bosses in the final stages of Palworld.

Although difficult, there is a cheese strategy that can make Jetragon relatively easy to capture, combined with a few other tricks and preparations, all of which will be covered in this guide.

    Requirements To Capture Jetragon

First off, this is still a level 50 Legendary Pal, so Legendary Spheres will almost certainly be required. These can be unlocked with Level 44 Technology Points and require Pal Metal Ingot besides Cement, Carbon Fiber, and Palladium to craft. And Pal Metal Ingot requires Electric Furnace to manufacture.

Anyway, just to be safe, I recommend bringing many Legendary Spheres, around 50 or more. You can maximize Capture Power by giving Lifmunk Effigies to Statue of Power, which will also greatly increase our chances of success.

    Needed Gear

Given that Jetragon is located in Volcano region, we should also be wearing Heat Resistance Accessory and Armor. While this strategy should help us avoid damage, sturdier armor and shields are always better.

You can craft Heat Resistant Armor, and Accessory with Heat Resistance can be purchased at Green Wandering Merchant in Dune Shelter for Palworld Gold Coins.

    Recommended Food

We need a good flying pal and lots of food to feed it. For food, I like to bring Salads because they are light and delicious. I usually need about 25 to 50 Salad per Jetragon capture.

    Recommended Pal & Active Skills

For Pal, I really like Suzaku and its fire attack, which can burn Jetragon for relatively high damage. Suzaku is easily found in Sand Dunes region of the northeast. My favorite moves are Ignis Blast, Spirit Fire, and Flare Arrow.

Also, we need to craft a Suzaku Saddle, which can be unlocked with Technology Points at level 40. Sphere Launcher will make it easier for Sphere to hit Jetragon, but it’s not strictly necessary.

    Where To Find Jetragon?

Once all our gear and pals were ready, we went back to sleep to make sure we were at the beginning of the day cycle. We can then head to Ruined Fortress City Fast Travel Point and head west.

We should be able to spot Jetragon roaming around a small crater. We need to move a short distance south to a large rocky formation surrounded on two sides by flowing lava.

    Jetragon Cheese Strategy

This next part is very important to keep Jetragon stuck and unable to attack us. We need to board Suzaku and wait near the rock wall until Jetragon heads south towards us.

Once we’re close enough, usually outside of the molten spikes that stick out near the dirt road, we can proceed to attack Jetragon with our ranged attacks to start the fight.

We can try to close the distance and use Dragon Burst attack. Once it gets close to the wall of the rocky formation, we should be able to get Jetragon stuck by flying to the top of the rock.

Jetragon would get stuck flying on the wall in front of us instead of flying around us to where we were. From here, we can ride Suzaku and start attacking Jetragon with ranged attacks. If necessary, we can fly a little higher to maintain a line of sight with the target. When our physical strength is exhausted, we need to return to the ground to restore it.

Burn & Other Status Effects Explained

Our fire attack should initially put Jetragon in a burning state, dealing about 50 damage per tick.

In Palworld, it seems like each additional application of a debuff requires more effort. Therefore, as the battle continues, the duration of burn applied to Jetragon will become longer and longer.

That being said, we should eventually be able to wear down Jetragon to where it can be captured before nightfall. Along the way, we made sure our Suzaku ate Salad.

When & How To Catch Jetragon?

When around 3000 health points remain, Jetragon will physically react to damage, becoming briefly dazed. At this point, our Legendary Spheres should have a capture chance of 2% or higher, so we can start capturing.

Doing this will free Jetragon from being stuck. Then we need to continuously attack it with Legendary Spheres immediately after it breaks away to prevent it from attacking us. After two successful wobbles, we should have our Jetragon.

Benefits Of Jetragon & Superfast Jetragon From Breeding

A Jetragon is great on its own, as it will help us tackle Pseudo-Legendary Pal Bosses on the map, all of which are above level 40. This is true even if we are below level 50.

At this point we can make Jetragon’s Saddle or Missile Launcher. If we could get two Jetragons, one Male and one Female, then they could be bred for desirable traits to create the ultimate Jetragon.

Hope this strategy works for you. If you have your own strategy for Jetragon, please let us know. Hope you have a great day!

  • Palworld: A Comprehensive Explanation Of All Water Element Pals And Their Pokemon Counterparts

    Posted: Jan 22, 2024

Palworld has frequently been fondly referred to as "Pokemon with guns" since its unveiling in 2021.

While certain Pals in Palworld navigate a delicate balance between an original concept and an exact replica of specific Pokemon, it's evident that Game Freak's renowned franchise significantly influenced Pocketpair's successful new game. Consequently, each Water-element Pal in Palworld has a distinct counterpart in the Pokemon universe, with the level of obviousness varying based on the extent of deviation from their Pokemon counterpart.

Similar to the Pokemon series, Palworld also incorporates elemental types for each of its Pals, with specific elements holding an advantage over others, although the game includes only half as many elements as Pokemon.

While exploring Palworld, players are likely to come across Pals of various elements, including some that can assume different elemental forms through fusion. When identifying their Pokemon counterpart, only the original forms of these Pals will be taken into account, as their designs mostly remain unchanged with only a few elemental alterations.

Why are you hesitating? Prepare enough Palworld Gold Coins and explore the magical Palworld with me!

Pals Of The Water Element & Their Corresponding Pokemon Counterparts

While the majority of Pokemon corresponding to Water-element Pals are Water-type themselves, there are a few exceptions, such as Cufant and Goodra, serving as evident inspirations for Teafant and Relaxaurus, respectively.

Teafant closely resembles Cufant in body shape and elephant motif, even though the latter is a Steel type in its original series. However, Relaxaurus is a dual Water/Dragon element Pal, sharing 1 element with Goodra.

Goodra evolves from Sliggoo in the rain, establishing some associations with the Water type as well.

Penking Serves As The Empoleon Equivalent In Palworld

Among the Water-type Pokemon with counterparts in Palworld, Empoleon and Penking exhibit the most evident resemblance.

Although they may not share identical physical appearances, they are conceptually akin as both are penguin-based creatures inspired by regal rulers.

Penking's name is a combination of "penguin" and "king," while Empoleon derives its name from the emperor penguin and Napoleon.

The primary distinction between these 2 creatures lies in their secondary typing. Empoleon acquires the Steel type upon evolution, whereas Penking incorporates Ice as its secondary element alongside Water.

Kelpsea Is Palworld's Counterpart To Lapras

A prominent Water type in the Pokemon series is Gen 1's Lapras, renowned for enabling players to surf on its back. Therefore, it's not unexpected that Palworld introduces its own counterpart in the form of the Pal Kelpsea.

Although Kelpsea draws inspiration from the Kelpie of Scottish folklore, it exudes a similar grace and beauty to Lapras, establishing a natural association between the 2 creatures.

However, while Kelpsea is exclusively a Water element Pal, Lapras is a dual Water/Ice type, indicating that their typings are not precisely identical.

Jormuntide Is Palworld's Equivalent To Gyarados

Among the formidable creatures in their respective games, Jormuntide and Gyarados exhibit distinct similarities.

Both are scaly sea serpents with flowing whiskers reminiscent of leviathan-like dragons, making them unmistakable counterparts for fans of both Palworld and Pokemon.

Although many fans believe Gyarados should have been a Water/Dragon type rather than a Water/Flying type, Jormuntide fulfills this desire with its accurate Water/Dragon elemental typing, reflecting its draconic design.

This typing imparts a sense that Jormuntide could be a redesign of Gyarados while maintaining its unique identity.

  • Palworld: Here Are 15 Essential Facts To Be Aware Of Before Diving Into The Experience

    Posted: Jan 22, 2024

Palworld launchs on January 19th, entering early access on PC. It appears to be a robust addition to the survival crafting and creature collection genres.

Given the game's considerable hype and its comparison to "Pokemon with guns," what can you anticipate when diving into the experience? Explore 15 essential aspects you should be aware of before making a purchase.

    1. Personalize Your World Settings

In the realm of world settings, there exists a variety of options to personalize your experience.

Whether you're a newcomer seeking a relaxed adventure or a seasoned survival crafting enthusiast eager for higher challenges, you have the flexibility to modify several aspects. Adjust the pace of daytime and nighttime, the EXP earning rate, Pal Capture Rate (including their frequency of appearance), damage inflicted and sustained by Pals, and more.

Opt to enable or disable raid events, or configure the outcome of death to involve dropping all your Palworld Items and Pals. Even after the world's creation, you retain the ability to make adjustments.

    2. Craft Your Character

Upon establishing the world, the next step involves crafting your character.

Diverse presets are at your disposal, allowing you to fine-tune the dimensions of arms, legs, and torsos. Choose from over 20 face types, 27 hairstyles, and 6 distinct voice types. While it may not be the most intricate character creator, it effectively fulfills its purpose.

Notably, post-game initiation, you lack the ability to modify your appearance. A forthcoming update will introduce this feature later, so bear that in mind during the character creation process.

    3. More Than 100 Pals

Exceeding 100 in number, Palworld introduces a diverse collection of Pals for players to gather.

This assortment includes uncomplicated ones like Cattiva and Lamball and more intricate ones like Suzaku and Katress. Additional Pals are anticipated to be introduced throughout the early access phase.

While there is no evidence of evolutions based on encountered Pals so far, enhancing a Pal's power is achievable by sacrificing duplicates to the Pal Condensation machine, thereby elevating their tier. Pal Souls, discovered during exploration, can be utilized at a Statue of Power to augment their statistics.

    4. Types Of Pal & Their Passives

The world of Pals is categorized into 3 types – the standard ones, the Alpha Pals (details coming up shortly), and Lucky Pals, akin to Shinies

Standard Pals present the usual array of elemental affinities such as fire, water, grass, and neutral. They come with three customizable skill slots (don't forget to customize skills).

Additionally, they possess random passive skills; for instance, one Cattiva may exhibit a ten percent boost in movement speed, while another might deal 10 percent less damage.

Lucky Pals may feature the rare passive, with a 15% increase in both work speed and attack, making them particularly suitable for capturing.

    5. Partner Abilities

Irrespective of their passives, each Pal is inherently tailored for specific tasks. For instance, a Penking, whether Standard or Alpha, is always adept at crafting items, transporting materials, watering farms, mining, and cooling.

As you advance in the game and amass more Pals, you'll encounter others proficient in various tasks.

Take note of the distinct Partner Abilities each Pal offers. Some abilities can be activated in battle (with certain equipment requirements), while others are passive, contributing effects like elemental damage to player attacks.

    6. Build Your Base

Constructing a base is a pivotal aspect of Palworld.

It involves establishing beds for your Pals to rest, ensuring a steady supply of food to sustain both them and yourself, and incorporating facilities like spas to safeguard their sanity.

The Primitive Workbench proves handy for crafting fundamental Pal Spheres, weapons, armor, and materials. However, as you progress, additional features like smelting furnaces for ore refinement, power generators supplying electricity to oversee Production Line Factories, and Medicine Workbenches for crafting medicinal items for Pals become available.

The completion of missions not only elevates your base levels but also grants the capability to create multiple bases.

    7. Combat

Engaging in combat within Palworld involves dispatching your Pal to confront adversaries and utilizing your weaponry, such as crossbows, guns, and explosives.

The combat operates in real-time, with Pal abilities subject to cooldown. While you can only have one Pal active at a time, certain equipment permits the companionship of others, like Dazzi and Daedream, for continuous assistance.

In the absence of such assistance, the strategy remains consistent – exploit elemental weaknesses to the best of your ability for a triumphant outcome.

    8. Various Regions

Commencing your journey in the Plateau of Beginnings, Palworld unfolds a myriad of regions for exploration.

The surroundings transition from the neighboring plains to rugged areas featuring expansive bridges. Before long, you'll encounter volcanic regions, vast dunes, and enigmatic sites

For those with a penchant for exploration, Palworld's diverse landscapes will provide ample opportunities for engagement, particularly when in pursuit of Lifmunk Effigies to enhance your Capture Power.

    9. Dungeons

Palworld's dungeons maintain simplicity and are categorized into 2 types.

The initial type encompasses navigating a sequence of caves, confronting human adversaries and wild Pals, and uncovering chests containing loot. At the culmination of this journey, an Alpha Pal presents itself, and dispatching or capturing it concludes the dungeon.

The second type of dungeon, Sealed Realm, is even more uncomplicated. Interaction with the luminous circle in a designated area results in teleportation to the Alpha Pal's location for the purpose of vanquishing it.

    10. Alpha Pals

Consider Alpha Pals as somewhat akin to world bosses. They boast a larger stature, significantly more health than the average Pal, and can inflict substantial damage.

Occasionally, they engage in battles accompanied by other Pals, but overcoming them is not obligatory. You have the option to capture Alpha Pals, and from the observed encounters, it appears that only Alpha Pals provide positive passives such as reduced damage from a specific elemental type or a decreased likelihood of getting hungry.

Whether you choose to defeat or capture them, the reward is an Ancient Technology Point for successfully clearing an Alpha Pal for the first time.

    11. Settlements & Wandering Merchants

Beyond the realm of Pals and Dungeons lies additional facets within the archipelago.

You'll come across settlements where human NPCs lead their daily lives, offering insights into the surrounding region and the broader world. These settlements serve as prime locations for encountering Wandering Merchants who peddle materials, items, and even Pals in exchange for Palworld Gold.

    12. Technologies & Ancient Technologies

Advancing in levels within Palworld rewards you with Technology Points, akin to the system in Ark: Survival Evolved

These points allow you to unlock new crafting items, with the more advanced and resource-intensive options becoming accessible at higher levels.

In addition to regular Technologies, there are Ancient Technologies that necessitate Ancient Technology Points obtained from defeating Alpha Pals.

These Ancient Technologies can grant access to items such as the Egg Incubator for nurturing eggs into Pals, Feed Bags for automatic sustenance for yourself and Pals in your party, and even a Grappling Gun.

    13. Day/Night Cycle & Climates

As mentioned earlier, Palworld experiences a day/night cycle that holds significance, as specific Pals are exclusive to either daytime or nighttime

Additionally, various regions exhibit distinct climates, ranging from extreme heat to cold (sometimes both, contingent on the time of day).

To navigate these regions, armor is essential to resist the adverse effects, as failure to do so results in sustained damage over time.

    14. The Towers

In your journey, you'll come across two main adversaries – humans and Pals.

However, there are specific locations where you'll face rival Pal trainers. These trainers are situated in towers scattered throughout the world and can pose a significant challenge if you enter them without adequate levels and preparations.

Notably, the tutorial section begins with conquering the Rayne Syndicate's Tower. Subsequently, you have the freedom to travel to any other tower and make an attempt to defeat the trainers inside.

    15. No PvP In The Early Access Version

Players can collaborate in co-op mode, with up to four participants sharing the same world.

Furthermore, the option to establish a dedicated server supports a larger community, accommodating up to 32 players and providing the ability to form guilds.

However, it's important to note that PvP is not accessible in the early access version. According to Pocketpair, they are currently conducting internal tests and exploring various approaches to PvP. The aim is to identify the most suitable PvP experience for Palworld, and updates will be shared when PvP is ready for implementation.
