  • Path Of Exile 2 0.2.0 Patch: This Patch Will Have A Great Impact

    Posted: Mar 03, 2025

Path of Exile 2 0.2.0 patch will be available to players in late March. This update will bring great changes to the game, including maps, classes and new leagues. I believe that players should have enjoyed the content of Diablo 4 Season 7 for a while. It’s time to return to POE 2.

    Date

The developer said that patch 0.2.0 was going to be released a month after February 20, 2025. According to this news, the expected opening time of patch 0.2.0 is March 17 to March 20, 2025 (Pacific Daylight Time).

At the same time, the developer is holding a competition event for Path of Exile 2, which is undoubtedly a warm-up for the arrival of patch 0.2.0. There are three competitions in total. Each competition has 6 Demigod’s Virtue Unique Helmets as rewards.

    Here are the competition times:

    • First: Sunday, March 2, 11 am PST / 2 pm EST / 7 pm GMT
    • Second: Sunday, March 9, 12 pm PDT / 3 pm EDT / 7 pm GMT
    • Third: March 16 Sunday, 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT / 7pm GMT

Are you excited about seeing these competitions? If you want to improve your skills, you can enter POE 2 Orbs Giveaways In IGGM Discord. There will be some raffles here, and you have the chance to win prizes such as currency or equipment.

    0.2.0 Patch Content

The content of 0.2.0 patch is very rich, including new New League, New Classes and Ascendancies, New Support Gems and New Uniques. All players can experience the content of the game again.

    New League

In 0.2.0, the game will introduce a new New League. All players have to choose a new character and start over. This means that all players’ currencies and items will be reset. At the same time, the balance changes in the new patch may affect your character’s data. Players can consume all your POE 2 Divine Orb and Exalted Orb currencies before the arrival of the 0.2.0 patch.

    New Class

The developer The preview of the 0.2.0 patch hints that new classes will be introduced, and these professions may bring new skill combinations. At the same time, the game will also add six new weapon combinations, which means that the new classes will bring new options to the game battles. There may be 1 or 2 new classes in the 0.2.0 patch.

According to the preview of the 0.2.0 patch, Gladiator is almost confirmed to appear in the next update. Of course, this new class may also be Duelist like Path of Exile 1, and Gladiator may be one of Ascendancy Classes of Duelist.

If Gladiator follows the design ideas of PoE 1, then Gladiator may focus on blocking mechanisms, bleeding effects, and posture-based combat.

It is revealed that Druid and Huntress classes are basically completed, and players may be able to play these two classes in the 0.2.0 patch.

    New Support Gems

The developers will introduce 5 new support gems in the 0.2.0 patch.

    • Range Support: Increases Chaos damage as the fight lasts longer. Higher intelligence costs more energy shield, but increases damage.
    • Volcanic Eruption: Supports melee attack skills. Hitting an ignited enemy triggers Molten Strike-style Fireballs.
    • Embitter: Chaos damage bonus converted to cold damage bonus
    • Concoct: Consumes part of life flask to increase bleeding damage.
    • Commiserate: Enhances ailment effects. When you apply ailment to an enemy, remove the ailment effects from you.

These support gems will play an important role in the 0.2.0 version, and it is worth your currency to cultivate them.

    New Uniques

The developers have announced two unique items so far.

Bringer of Rain (Reworked): This unique item comes from POE 1. This unique helmet allows the player to dual-wield two-handed axes and swords, but the player will not be able to wear the chest armor.

Hammer of Faith: This unique weapon is a two-handed mace with medium DPS. Grants your character a random Shrine buff every 10 seconds.

Patch 0.2.0 is also expected to introduce new two-handed weapon subtypes, which are:

    • Two-handed Axe
    • Two-handed Sword

The unique item “Bringer of Rain” allows two-handed weapons to be used in both hands, which will greatly enhance the character’s DPS, but will also bring high survival pressure.

    Endgame Mapping Changes

This part of the content is the most controversial content. Although the developers want to fill the endgame content, players don’t like Lost Tower.

    Lost Tower Changes:

    • Lost Tower will now function like an actual map. Players must clear the rare monsters in it to activate the tower.
    • Lost Tower is now affected by Precursor Tablets, and all alliance mechanisms can appear in the tower.
    • There will be a boss in Lost Tower, and the currently confirmed boss is Karash, The Dune Dweller.

The reason why Lost Tower was disliked by players before was that the rewards inside were very scarce but the terrain inside was very complex. Exploring Lost Tower was usually a thankless task. Now that more monsters and items have been added to the tower, some players may change their perception of the tower. In the 0.2.0 patch, the tower may become a good place for farming currency.

The above is the current known content of the 0.2.0 patch. The developers may still be thinking about what other content to add, and more news will be released in succession.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Classes Ranked: Which Classes Are Used Most?

    Posted: Feb 27, 2025

Since the early access of Path of Exile 2 was opened in December 2024, it has almost overshadowed Diablo 4 and become one of the players’ favorite ARPGs. And the content of the game is only about half. Although it has only opened 3 Acts and there are only 6 classes in the game, it still makes players addicted. You should know that Diablo 4, which was released in 2023, has only 6 classes until now.

Path of Exile 2 will continue to open 6 classes in the future and show the next 3 Acts to all players. As for the current 6 classes, players have already shown their favorite tendencies.

The developer of POE 2 recently hired a data analyst Lilylicious. Her purpose is to find data that players and developers are interested in from the game log. She analyzed the game data from February 18 to February 25, which showed some interesting information.

    Data Display

In the statistics displayed by POE 2, the usage percentage of different classes is displayed, but the specific number of people is not displayed. The most used classes are Stormweaver and Invoker. The percentage of players using these two classes is the same, both 19.04%. Of course, this does not mean that the number of players using Stormweaver and Invoker is exactly the same, but it means that the number of players of the two classes is very close.

These two classes mainly use elemental damage, which can show that in most cases, the elemental damage suffered by the boss may be higher than the physical damage. This is indeed the case. In the endgame of Path of Exile 2, all pinnacle bosses basically have high physical resistance and resistance to various elements. In many cases, using a class that can cause elemental damage may be the best choice. When sweeping piles of monsters in the endgame, lightning damage can also cause chain damage to monsters, which is very efficient. When players are farming currency in the endgame, Stormweaver and Invoker are obviously much faster than other characters.

Here is Lilylicious’ ranking of the usage rates of various characters:

    • Rank 1: Stormweaver - 19.04%
    • Rank 2: Invoker - 19.04%
    • Rank 3: Infernalist - 16.45%
    • Rank 4: Deadeye - 12.66%
    • Rank 5: Gemling Legionnaire - 10.42%
    • Rank 6: Titan - 5.48%
    • Rank 7: Witchhunter - 5.11%
    • Rank 8: Bloodmage - 3.74%
    • Rank 9: Pathfinder - 3.38%
    • Rank 10: Chronomancer - 2.01%
    • Rank 11: Warbringer - 1.53%
    • Rank 12: Acolyte of Chayula - 1.15%

In addition to the most popular Stormweaver and Invoker, Infernalist is also loved by players. Infernalist is Witch Ascendancy Class. She can manipulate the flames from hell and summon minions to assist her.

Both Stormweaver and Infernalist have one characteristic, which is simple but powerful. In Path of Exile 2, enemies are powerful and flexible, and they will be killed by monsters in the wild if they are not careful. Stormweaver and Infernalist can use range skills to clear monsters safely at the beginning of the game, and the efficiency of farming POE 2 currency with these two classes is also very high. As long as you play Stormweaver and Infernalist, your game experience will basically not be bad.

The reason why Invoker is tied with Stormweaver is simply that he is extremely powerful. It is not without reason that Monk has become the top of the usage list with absolute strength. Even Elon Musk’s power leveler chose Monk for him. Invoker gives Monk super mobility and extremely high elemental damage output, making Monk a class with a high damage limit and the best choice of masters of various games to speed through BOSS.

In addition to the statistics of classes, the official also shared other data. During this period, monsters and bosses dropped a total of 899 billion Gold, and players died more than 14.5 million times in the game. The average level of active gamers is currently 75, and the median is 89. The developers said that they accumulated 1.5TB of game data in just one week.

    0.2.0 Patch

The game developers are expected to make a major update in late March. From the official preview, perhaps a new class will be added to the game, Gladiator. Gladiator is just a speculative name for this class. Perhaps the name of this new class is Duelist like Path of Exile 1. And Gladiator is its Ascendancy Class. In addition, the developer also said that Druid and Huntress are basically completed, and may be launched with Gladiator in the 0.2.0 patch.

In addition to the new classes, there are new unique items in 0.2.0, Bringer of Rain helmet and the two-handed weapon Hammer of Faith. In the new patch video, the developers showed players the new Support gems:

    • Concoct
    • Commiserate
    • Derange
    • Embitter
    • Volcanic Eruption

The official has not yet revealed the idea of changing the drop rate of the entire currency system, so POE 2 Divine Orb may still be one of the most valuable currencies in the game. Classes that are good at farming maps, such as Stormweaver, will continue to be the most popular classes for players. However, the official in the 0.2.0 patch focused on changing the mechanism of Towers in the endgame. Towers will randomly generate various monsters, including bosses, which may change the player’s strategy and choose other classes.

In any case, after the 0.2.0 patch is launched, the usage rate of different classes among players will definitely change, and trying different classes can also bring a lot of game fun to players.

  • Path Of Exile 2 Delirium: How To Play The Endgame Event?

    Posted: Feb 24, 2025

In the endgame of Path of Exile 2, players can experience 4 very interesting events: Rituals, Breaches, Expeditions, and Delirium. These 4 activities are derived from the seasonal mechanism of Leagues in Path of Exile 1, and now they are an important part of the endgame of POE 2.

Delirium is derived from Path of Exile 1 Delirium Leagues. Players will trigger encounters in this mode and face waves of enemies. At the same time, they can also obtain some special POE 2 currency in this event.

    Path Of Exile 2 Delirium

The four endgame events of Path of Exile 2 have special icons. You can see some black and white icons on the nodes of the endgame map. The icon with a symmetrical bull horn in the middle represents Delirium.

If you want to have a Delirium event on the current map, you can insert Delirium Precursor Tablet into Lost Tower.

When you enter Delirium map, you will find Delirium Mirror near the respawn point. Delirium Mirror is a bit like the colorful glass you see in churches. When you get close to it, you and Delirium Mirror will be distorted, and you just need to walk into it to trigger Delirium encounter.

The entire Delirium encounter will take place in a Delirium fog circle, and there will be a constant stream of enemies appearing in the circle and attacking you. You cannot walk out of this circle. Once you leave the fog circle, there will be a 5-second countdown. If you are still outside the circle after the countdown ends, Delirium will end.

Enemies in Delirium will be strengthened, and in addition to dropping some regular POE 2 currency and ordinary equipment, these enemies will also drop some special Delirium rewards: Distilled Emotions and Simulacrum Splinters. Distilled Emotions can buff players in Delirium event, while Simulacrum Splinters are used to start Pinnacle Delirium challenge.

If you encounter a Fractured Mirror on the map, you can approach it to attract more monsters. You can encounter magic, rare, and even unique monsters in Fractured Mirror, and their drops are much better than ordinary monsters.

    Delirium BOSS

The main content of Delirium event is to fight waves of monsters. The more you fight monsters, the stronger the enemies will be. Unlike the other three events, Delirium does not have a Pinnacle Boss. When you collect 300 Simulacrum Splinters, you can combine them into a Simulacrum. You can then put it into Realmgate to start Pinnacle Challenge of Delirium event.

Simulacrum Splinters can not only be obtained through drops in Delirium event but also through exchanging with other players in Currency Exchange. Also, if you have a Simulacrum but don’t want to use it, you can trade it with other players for some POE 2 Divine Orb.

Delirium’s Pinnacle Challenge requires you to kill 15 turns of incoming monsters, and the difficulty increases as the battle progresses. Delirium boss will appear in any wave of monsters, and the chance of the boss appearing will gradually increase as the monsters become stronger.

There are two bosses in Delirium event, Kosis, the Revelation and Omniphobia, Fear Manifest. Although they are not Pinnacle bosses, they are still very difficult. Generally speaking, they will not appear together, but if you can’t kill one quickly, you will eventually have to face both at the same time. Kosis will release ice attacks, freeze the field, apply freezing slow and other debuff effects on you, so you’d better kill it first.

If you can complete the entire Simulacrum encounter, you will get 2 times the passive points of Delirium!
