  • Monopoly Go: What Rewards Can Players Get In Mystery Manor Event?

    Posted: Oct 31, 2024

At Halloween, the festive atmosphere in Monopoly Go is getting stronger and stronger. In order to further enhance the fun of Halloween, Monopoly Go has also held several related game events in the game in recent days.

Some of these events only lasted for a short day or even a few hours, while others left ample time for players to obtain special Monopoly Go Stickers through them, such as Mystery Manor.

While existing as an in-game Halloween event, Mystery Manor still continues the tradition of milestone events in the game: by allowing players to accumulate event points to complete different levels of milestones to obtain corresponding rewards.

In order to give players participating in Mystery Manor a clearer understanding of what rewards they can get in the event, we will introduce some precautions to participate in it.

    Overview Of Mystery Manor Event

Like Haunted Treasures Dig Event of the same period, Mystery Manor is also a new single-player event. It started on October 30th and will last for two days until November 1st. You can log in and play it during this period.

Mystery Manor event will provide players with many Pickaxe tokens, which players can use to dig for treasure in Haunted Treasures minigame of Mystery Manor event as a special event reward.

In addition, you can also get numerous dice and sticker packs when completing Mystery Manor event milestones.

How To Participate In Mystery Manor Event?

Although the event itself has been given a seasonal Halloween feature, the basic event participation mechanism is still similar to most previous milestone events. Players can earn event points by landing on specific locations on the board to complete milestones.

In Mystery Manor event, players need to land their tokens on Chance, Utility, and Tax tiles as much as possible to earn more points than ordinary tiles. Landing on Chance or Utility tiles can get 2 points, and landing on Tax tiles can get 3 points.

Of course, if you have dice multipliers, it’s best to use them to progress through the board. Especially when you land on Chance, Utility, and Tax tiles. This can further increase the number of points you earn, helping you complete all the milestones sooner rather than later!

What Rewards Does Mystery Manor Event Offer?

In addition to the familiar dice, cash, and sticker packs containing various Monopoly Go Cards, this event will also offer Pickaxe tokens as one reward.

These tokens can be used in Haunted Treasures event allowing you to dig up loot with Sofia. This means that the rewards of Mystery Manor event will also help you participate in another event and get more rewards.

  • Monopoly Go: Which Designs Make It Such An Addictive Game?

    Posted: Oct 25, 2024

Want to get to know how Monopoly Go board game such a charming game? Then let’s take a closer look at its digital predecessor. Monopoly Go, as the culmination of interactive entertainment company Scopely, took researchers nearly six years to design and innovate. In the end, it lived up to the expectations of the production team and earned $2 billion in revenue in the first 10 months of the game’s release.

With the popularity of Monopoly Go, everyone will conduct a summary analysis and evaluation of the factors of its success. It is undeniable that his inspiration and innovative designs contribute the most significant part of its enormous success.

    Souce Of Inspiration

Based on the analysis of Massimo Maietti, general manager of Monopoly Go, this mobile game seeks to capture the “core emotions” that the original Monopoly game invites. The original Monopoly’s wealth risk and the relationship between individuals and wealth are pretty realistic.

It is well known that there is a tremendous challenge in converting the original game to an app, that is, how to keep the game playable. The solution given by Scopely is to enable users to join in the game with real-life family and friends, and further bring real-life emotions into the game.

    Dopamine Boosts And Strategies

Levels have basically consisted of the overall structure of Monopoly Go. Every player has their own boards and plays a role of greedy landlords resides in New York City or Space Metropolis. The mechanic of “bank heists” and “shut downs” allow players to visit their relatives’ boards and destroy their builds and property.

The overall design of the game actually lacks the strategy in the original Monopoly. On the contrary, it gives much emphasis on dopamine boosts and addictive experiences. Maietti said that they abandoned the first version that the entire team spent three years to build because it requires players much more effort and cognition. The relaxed design makes players addicted to Monopoly Go an indispensable factor.

    Frequent Notifications

Monopoly Go excels in enticing players by sending notifications from time to time. These notifications mainly lure players to play for a minute here and a few seconds there, almost occupying a part of the players’ lives.

According to relevant statistics, in the past year, Scopely’s 500 million users played about 5 billion hours of games, which equals to approximately 570,000 years of all human beings.

Intermittent Rewards And Low Price Of Items

Besides attracting users’ time, Monopoly Go is also very good at enticing players to invest in some minor items. A variety of virtual items like Monopoly Go Stickers, skins, boosts, spins and dice rolls are designed to attract players to devour in. The prices are generally cheap. Monopoly Go uses a small incremental method to bring Scopely a very shocking revenue, which has contributed one of five of the overall revenue of Scopely in total. The average user spends about $90 per month in the game.

While the rest of the mobile gaming market stagnated last year, Scopely continued to grow rapidly and became the highest-grossing US game maker in iOS and Google Play app stores in 2024.

The game uses intermittent rewards and other methods to attract players’ attention. Daily updated activities and other makers’ activities have made the entire game full of vitality and vitality. For example, the recent cooperation with Marvel is undoubtedly an immense surprise for players who love superheroes and sci-fi experiences.

    Dice Rolling Design

The main way to move forward in Monopoly Go is to roll the dice. And “I Can’t Stop Rolling” also expresses the enthusiasm and expectations of the production team for the game. But what is surprising is the details of rolling the dice.

For example, when a player rolls a disappointing 2, then dice tend to teeter between one number and another to create a feign that you have not rolled a bad number. And when If a player rolls a 12, the game piece moves early, before the numbers even settle. This grasp of the overall rhythm is also particularly attractive.

    Playgami Feature

Playgami is an internal tool developed by Bulsara and is the core of Scopely’s strategy. It mainly collects and analyzes a large amount of game data, such as user login time, game time, and which projects have high click-through rates. This big data clusters and segments disparate types of players, and then conducts targeted promotions and notifications.

    Just One More Billion

The value and significance of virtual currency lies because players can really exchange and create with it. In Monopoly Go, you are available to create entire worlds. Virtual currency is used on various occasions, such as to establish little monuments and buildings, and keeps upgrading until a larger scene is completely realized. New York City, with Mr. Monopoly’s face on Statue of Liberty serve as vivid examples.

After upgrading to a new scene, the cost of construction gradually climbs, and the price of everything is rising. You will unknowingly need more virtual currency.

Monopoly Go also has a sinister trap, which is that other players may have the opportunity to demolish your buildings and steal your money when you set your phone down. This mechanic consolidates mountains of players into the game. If you don’t want your hard work to go to waste, then you must play the game often.

These are the reason in the aspect of designs why Monopoly Go has achieved such brilliant success, which is aimed at bringing players more immersive and additive experience. Thanks for reading.

One of the most recent Events, Habitat Heroes, Rewards players for completing Milestones. Whether it’s Free Dice, Cash, or beautiful and rare Monopoly Go Stickers, you may get it through this Event!

But rules often determine many aspects of Events. Most games and in-game Events have their own exclusive rules, and only by following these rules can you get better Rewards through Events. Monopoly Go’s Habitat Heroes is no exception.

So we will introduce some rules of Habitat Heroes to players, and what Rewards they can get by participating in them.

    Habitat Heroes Event Overview

Habitat Heroes will be held in the game from 4pm EST on October 20 to 8:30am EST on October 22. In order to participate, players need to enter the game within the specified time and earn Points to advance the progress.

The main way to earn Points is for players to Hit Railroads or Chance Cards to earn Points in Event, to reach Center Event Total at the end.

18,000 Free Dice rolls, three purple Sticker Packs, tons of Cash Bonuses, and other game Items can be distributed to players as Rewards. So don’t miss it.

How To Participate In Habitat Heroes Event?

In fact, Monopoly Go has held Habitat Heroes Event before, and this time it is a return of Event. Therefore, players who have participated in it before may have some understanding of the participation Mechanism of Event.

To get Rewards in Habitat Heroes Event, you must first get enough Event Points. Players can earn Points by landing on corresponding tiles on Board, such as Chance and Community Chest Tiles, which give you one Point each.

Meanwhile, Card shows you how many Points you’ve earned. Railroads, meanwhile, offer both two Points for Habitat Heroes and Points for the current Daily Tournament whenever you’re playing.

If you also get a Chance card that sends you to a Railroad for a minigame, you’ll also get Points for both Card and Railroad.

Besides these, if you have enough Dice and Dice Multipliers, you can also get more Habitat Heroes Points when you Roll Dice and Land on the corresponding Tiles. So in order to get as many Points as possible you can find ways to accumulate some Dice Multipliers.

Since there is no longer a need to accumulate Tokens for Peg-E Events to keep your Milestones occupied, players are in a Daily State of the game again. This also means a lot of Cash use, different colored Sticker Packs. This includes three purple Sticker Packs for Milestones 35, 42 and 46, and Daily Rewards.

Although there is a rare Builder’s Bash to participate in during this period, and you can participate twice to win thousands of Free Dice Rolls. But Habitat Heroes Event is obviously more important and worth players’ participation and preparation.
