Today I’m here to talk to you guys about everything you need to do before reaching Trailblazer level 40 in Honkai Star Rail. We finally have the ability to farm 5-Star Relics for our characters, and they are very powerful.

First Things Before Trailblazer Level 40

Now, the first thing you need to know is that when you hit Trailblazer level 40, you’ll unlock the ability to level up your characters and wake them up from level 50 all the way to 60.

This is a big deal, a feature that didn’t exist prior to the early Ascension levels. This is the key to your being able to level up your Trailblazers Trace a little higher than the rest.

Because you can raise Talents from level 4 all the way to level 6. So the first thing you should focus on about each character is to know how many Calyx materials there are.

For example, Asta here, because 4-Star Characters need 4 materials to go from level 4 to level 5. Then another 6 materials are needed to bring Trace from level 5 to level 6. This means that upgrading from Trace 4 to Trace 6 will use you 10 Calyx materials.

You have talents and ultimate skill that can be upgraded all the way to level 6. This will result in each 4-Star Character needing at least 30 Calyx materials just for their 3 core abilities.

But that’s not all, you can also upgrade your basic attack, which requires 2 Calyx materials, for Talents 2-3. This means that if you want to maximize every ability of a four-star character, it will take 36 Calyx materials. This is how you can maximize your basic attacks, ultimates, and talents themselves.

But that’s not the only thing you get at Trailblazer’s max level of 60. You can also choose to eventually awaken the character’s second bonus ability along with another bonus node for bonus stats.

And 5-Star Characters have one more ability than 4-Star. For example, Bronya, it will cost 2 more Calyx materials. A total of 12 Calyx materials are required per node.

In the reward ability and reward statistics, each node also needs to consume 5 Calyx materials. So I suggest you go in and see the characters you really like first. You can use a Honkai Star Rail Account that really suits you so that it wastes no effort.

You’ll unlock these characters when you reach Trailblazer level 40. You can then farm them like a regular Honkai Star Rail. But don’t spend your energy on trivial things. So once you hit Trailblazer level 40, you can get all the free guaranteed powers for your favorite character.

The second thing you need to do as you approach Trailblazer level 40 is make sure you have enough EXP Materials for both of your characters and their Light Cones. Because that’s the only way to affect your base stats in Honkai Star Rail.

Second Thing To Prepare

While you’re busy farming all the different materials for your Trace, don’t forget to make sure you have enough extra Traveler’s Guide and Aether.

Also, don’t forget that you’ll also need to level up and deal with some extra characters. Starting at level 11, you’ll also need to do some extra work for the four characters in Forgotten Hall. Because you need two teams.

For this content, they don’t need to be fully invested. But you want to start working on the second team because of their Light Cones and they can help you gather the materials you want.

Also note that when you reach Trailblazer level 40, you can advance your character up to level 60. You’ll gain another bonus ability that’s determined by different Echoes of War materials.

So make sure you find the roles that are most important to you. You’ll have them when you hit Trailblazer level 40, at which point you can start using the different Echoes of War on your secondary characters.

How To Make Things Easier?

Now there are a lot of different things that need to be traced, and I know that Energy is very scarce in this game for all these different things. So here are some tips to help you.

Ember is something you can access, even as a free-to-play player. A common currency that you earn by pulling banners. You can use these currencies to acquire different green Calyx materials.

Now you can take these green Calyx materials to the synthesizer. We need three materials to make a blue Calyx material. You can choose from about 13 blue Calyx materials each month for all the original characters.

If you want to tweak your trails when you reach Trailblazer level 40. Also, don’t forget to upgrade Azure to level 40. If you already have Battle Pass, you can also choose some blue Calyx materials from these various boxes. It revealed the box after every five levels of Battle Pass.
