Of all the builds, this one really is the most OP and game breaking. We are using one of the nine legendary armaments, the Marais Executioner’s Sword and its boss melting Ash of War Eochaid’s Dancing Blade.
This build is all about successive hit attack boost multipliers, causing insane damage numbers to bosses. And because we have a high Arcane stat, we can also use Dragon Incantations. We also have our usual attack buffing incantations and all we have to do is wait for any boss’s punish window and unleash our health melting Corkscrew Ash of War.
And this overpowered and easy build is called the Executioner.
The Gear
Let’s start the more in-depth look at the gear and setup so we can wreck anything and everything.
Our weapon of choice, as mentioned, is the Marais Executioner’s Sword +10. The unique skill on this sword, Eochaid’s Dancing Blade, is the foundation of this build. Thanks to patch 1.09, Great Swords have increased speed, range, and recovery time.
In our offhand, we have a Dragon Communion Seal +10, which we can use for dragging incantations, for mobbing and extra support. By the way, if your weapon is not up to the level I recommend, then you need to prepare enough Elden Ring Runes to achieve a quick upgrade.
As for the armor, we have the Mask of Confidence, giving us a boost to our Arcane stat to help us min max the stats and then, we have the Briar sets not just for Fashion Souls, but also we can damage enemies by rolling into them.
The Marais Executioner’s Sword drops from the Elemer of the Briar boss in the Shaded Castle. You can purchase the Briar Armor after defeating Elemer using his Bell Bearing in the round table holes. And the Mask of Confidence can be found on a corpse lying on the walls of the secret area of the Carian Study Hall unlocked using the Carian Inverted Statue. This can be done as part of Ranni’s questline. The Dragon Communion Seal is dropped by the Banished Knights in the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave right at the start of the game.
Next, let’s have a look at our seriously beefy Talismans.
Millicent’s Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia are stacking and boosting our attack power with successive hits. Millicent’s prosthesis is also giving us plus five to dex to help us min max our stats, which we’ll look at in a moment. We have the Shard of Alexander, which is boosting the power of our Eochaid’s Dancing Blade skill. And finally, the Godfrey Icon, which is also boosting our special skill thanks to it being chargeable.
Millicent’s prosthesis can be obtained by killing Millicent at the Windmill Heights Site of Grace after killing the Godskin Apostle there. This is the absolute earliest. It can be obtained the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia is given by Millicent if you choose to help her defeat her sisters. The Godfrey Icon drops from Godefroy the Grafted found in the Golden Lineage Evergaol. You can get the Shard of Alexander from Iron Fist Alexander when beating him at the end of his questline in Crumbling Farum Azula.
In the Flask of Wonderous Physick, I have the Faith-knot Crystal Tear, giving us enough Faith to cast Golden Vow before each fight. And we have the Thorny Cracked Tear, boosting our attack further with successive hits by stacking with Millicent’s Prosthesis and the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia.
The Faith-knot Crystal Tear can be found east of the Church of Pilgrimage just down a cliff surrounded by poisonous flower enemies. The Thorny Cracked Tear is dropped by the Putrid Avatar at the Minor Erdtree in the Consecrated Snowfield east of Ordina Liturgical Town.
As for Incantations, we have Golden Vow, which you can get in Mt Gelmir at the Corpse-Stench Shack; Flame, Grant Me Strength, which you can get in Caled around the back of Fort Dael. And as I mentioned, we can use dragging incantations as well for build up effects, so I have Dragonice and Scarlet Rot.

Stat Spread
Let’s have a look at our stat spread. I started with the Hero class. We have Vigor at 60, Mind at 14, Endurance at 23 and Strength at 54. This gives us 81 Strength when two handing and raise Marais Executioner’s Sword. We don’t actually touch Dexterity but we get five points for Millicent’s Prosthesis. We don’t touch Intelligence. Faith is at 15. This is boosted to 25 thanks to the Faith-knot Crystal Tear in the physick for Golden Vow. And finally Arcane is at 47, being boosted to 50 thanks to the Mask of Confidence. This rounds us up to a very respectable rune level of 150.
Combat - Corkscrew Em!
It’s time for combats. Like I say, it’s pretty simple.
We choke the classic Flask of Wondrous Physick and then buff with Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength before any fights. Wait for the boss to leave themselves open and just charge up and unleash your Eochaid’s Dancing Blade.
You’ll notice the successive hits attack boost multipliers kick in and you’ll immediately have most bosses down with one hit or at least at 50 Health. Also, it doesn’t hurt that we do chip damage to bosses by rolling into them with the Briar Armor. The Marais Executioner’s Sword is also just really good at being two-handed and has a unique heavy slam attack.
Now, as mentioned earlier with such a high Arcane stat, there is no reason why you can’t include dragging incantations in this build even if it’s just for mobbing and actually helping you get to bosses. The Dragonice incantation, for example, causes frost buildup and when procked, you are looking at a shared load more damage to enemies.
