  • Elden Ring: What To Do After You Finish Shadow Of The Erdtree? - More Things To Do

    Posted: Jul 26, 2024

It’s been a while since the official release of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, and some players have already defeated Radahn, the final boss of the DLC, and completed the journey of the entire DLC. But are you really done? Don’t rush to close the game. There are still many post-game activities waiting for you to explore in the charming Shadow Realm.

After the main quest is completed, you may sigh and look for the next new game or wait for the next DLC of Elden Ring. If you have some spare time, you may want to follow some steps in this guide to explore deeper in Shadow of the Erdtree.

    Cash In Radahn’s Remembrance

After you defeat Miquella’s spouse, Radahn, you will be standing alone in an empty arena. At this time, you may not know what to do next and feel a little confused. Take a look! The first thing you need to do at this point is to bring your Remembrance to Roundtable Hold to redeem it for a reward that will surprise you.

For players who prefer melee combat, you might choose Greatsword of Radahn (Lord). It comes in two variants, Heavy and Light, and can deal with excellent physical and magic damage. Combined with its excellent Ash of War, it can make your battle very interesting.

For players who like to use magic, you can choose Light of Miquella Incantation, which allows you to unleash a holy attack that is as strong as Radahn’s in the second stage. Either of these two rewards is very worthwhile, so after defeating Radahn, please go to Roundtable Hold immediately.

    Duplicate Your Remembrances

Since we just talked about Remembrances, did you know that there are three Coffins in Shadow of the Erdtree that can let you copy your Remembrances? If you didn’t know, it’s not too late to find out now! They work just like Wandering Mausoleoms in the base game, and allow you to pick up some Elden Ring Items that you didn’t choose previously by talking to NPCs.

This can be a great way to make a new build, or fill out your collection if you like your current build and don’t want to change. These Duplication Coffins are located behind Finger Ruins and Manus Metyr Cathedral. Go look for them in Shadow Realm!

Explore Thoroughly For Items You Missed

As we all know, the scope of this DLC is very large, and there are still many places to explore after you complete the main quest, including some hidden areas that you may have missed. Even if you are a very careful player, did you go straight to Radahn after passing Enir Llim and completely forgot to explore?

Then you can inspect when you enter Enir Llim again. Not far from where you defeated Radahn, there is a very rare weapon, Euporia, waiting for you on the secret path.

This is just an example. You will find more high-quality items. For example, after killing one of Aging Untouchables in Abyssal Woods, you will get Aged One’s Exultation talisman. And Verdigris Discus can only be found in Ancient Ruins of Rauh after using Imbued Sword Key.

These items can add interest to your exploration in the DLC, and you may keep looking for them. In addition, they may be very useful in subsequent expansions. Even if you don’t want them in your inventory, you can even trade them in for Elden Ring Runes.

    Beat All Optional Bosses

Normally, you only have to defeat the five optional bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC to complete the quest - Divine Beast Dancing Lion, Messmer Impaler, Romina, Saint of the Bud, Needle Knight Leda, and Radahn Consort of Miquella.

But there are 78 bosses in Shadow Realm! Each of them has a different fighting style, and if you beat them all, you’ll be invincible. There are some player-selected optional bosses that must be beaten, such as Scadutree Avatar, Midra and Lord of the Frenzied Flame, which you can try in this quest.

Some minor bosses, such as Blackgaol Knight and Rugalea, are also worth fighting. Not only will they enhance your combat capabilities, but they will also provide you with generous rewards.

    Collect Larval Tears

The best way to keep your Elden Ring fresh is to re-select your character and try out some new weapons, builds, and class types. But for those who have been playing Elden Ring for years, they have collected and used all Larval Tears in Lands Between.

Without Larval Tears, you can’t re-select your character, not even Queen of Full Moon Rennala can help you. But in Shadow of the Erdtree, these veterans will get Larval Tears again.

There are 9 Larval Tears in this DLC, which means you don’t have to use NG+ to create new DLC-inspired builds. This is definitely good news for those veteran players.

Find All Scadutree Fragments And Revered Spirit Ashes

There is a new upgrade system in Shadow of the Erdtree, which will make some veterans feel that the DLC is an actual struggle, rather than a simple expansion of the base game.

In simple terms, the more Scadutree Fragments you have in the game, the easier it will be to defeat enemies. The more Revered Spirit Ash you have, the more powerful your Spirit Ashes will be.

This may all be clear after you defeat Radahn, but you may not know that if you use NG+ and then play the DLC again, these blessings will carry over to your new game. So you can collect all the resources while you are still familiar with the map of this area, so that you can explore more freely in subsequent games.

Do these interesting things make you want to reopen Elden Ring and explore it carefully? If you encounter any interesting things when exploring Shadow Realm again, you are welcome to come to the player community in Discord to express your feelings! In addition, IGGM Discord will also distribute some free information in it, so please check it out! I wish you a happy time in Shadow of the Erdtree.

  • Elden Ring: Do Players Need To Complete Main Quest Before Entering New Expansion?

    Posted: Jun 20, 2024

Elden Ring’s new expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, will be released on June 21, and many players are wondering if they need to complete the original main quest before entering the new content.

Because the base content in Elden Ring is enormous, it will take players hundreds of hours to explore all the content in The Lands Between thoroughly. For those who just want to relax, it may be a very daunting task and take them a long time.

The time spent in the game depends on the player’s skill level, and most players will need 40-50 hours. This time is only enough to defeat the 11 necessary bosses, complete the quests in a hurry and do not have a deep understanding of all the plots, etc.

But those who are worried about missing out on these plots can breathe a sigh of relief. It has been revealed that the missed content will come in handy when this DLC is finally released. Because FromSoftware did this with previous expansion.

Need To Complete The Main Quest?

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has been confirmed to fully complete the main quest before entering the new expansion, but you still need to reach the area where the expansion entrance is located. For example, in Bloodborne Old Hunters DLC, players need to defeat Vicar Amelia's boss to enter Hunter’s Nightmare.

This operation has been tried in many DLCs of previous FromSoftware games, including Elden Ring Colosseum DLC.

Which Step Can You Unlock New Expansion At?

To unlock Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in the regular way, it takes quite a long game session, but there is an easy way! You only need to defeat two special bosses to enter the new expansion directly.

The first is to defeat Starscourge Radahn, which will unlock Eternal City Nokron. Of course, you need to fight Radahn by completing the quest of Ranni or activating Site of Grace by reaching Altus Plateau.

After defeating the boss during Radahn Festival, you need to enter the questline in Varre to obtain Elden Ring Items required for Mohgwyn’s Palace in the underground area.

You then need to go through this area to find Lord of Blood Mohg - the last boss to be dealt with before entering the new expansion. Once you have killed him successfully, you can actively access DLC by touching Miquella’s hand at the far end of Mohg’s arena.

You Can Go Deeper Into Story As You Wish

While players are always strongly encouraged to progress in the game, from my point of view, it is best not to lose the battle before entering the new expansion.

The first reason is that it takes a long time to defeat both bosses, especially if you want to increase your progress by killing the bosses that appear on the road. If you plan to run it a second time with New Game Plus, it may take longer.

The second reason is that New Game Plus makes your game more difficult. Therefore, players may need to defeat Radahn and Mohg besides updating the clearance content. In the worst case, they may not unlock Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

While New Game Plus in some ways increases the health of bosses and other enemies, in another way it also allows players to complete the first attempt of Elden Ring DLC at a higher level.

For players who are constantly looking for new and harder challenges, this makes sense. But for players who already find the base game difficult, New Game Plus does increase the difficulty of DLC. Different people have different opinions.

Of course, this does not prevent you from making a lot of progress in the game and picking up some of the best endgame weapons and gear. But in fact, you are better off getting as deep into the base game’s campaign as possible.

    Summary

In addition, during Elden Ring DLC hands-on preview sessions, you are also better off setting your character to level 100 or above in advance, so that you can get higher stats and better equipment later.

FromSoftware has always had a tradition of DLC being much more difficult than the base game, especially with featured bosses. For example, the ultimate boss of Bloodborne DLC, Orphan of Kos, is a very typical example. What? You think it’s not strong enough? What about Darkeater Midir and Slave Knight Gael from Dark Souls 3?

Therefore, players who find the base game difficult are strongly advised not to use New Game Plus to enter the new expansion.

However, there are exceptions. Players who rely entirely on Marika’s Hammer or Sacred Relic Sword can kill a lot in those “hard modes”. These two weapons will drop last before the credits. In addition, players can try different builds and weapons in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC to achieve different effects.

It should be noted that the weapons obtained by defeating Maliketh, Radagon, and Elden Beast in Elden Ring are the best weapons in the game. But with the updated equipment provided in DLC, you can also try a lot of new options.

Like you, I am looking forward to Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, which will be officially released tomorrow. See you in the game and wish you a merry game.

  • Elden Ring: How To Find Ultimate Godslayer’s Greatsword To Prepare For Shadow Of The Erdtree?

    Posted: Apr 08, 2024

Welcome to my ultimate guide to Elden Ring Godslayer’s Greatsword! In this guide, I’ll walk you through a no-leveling up method to easily obtain the powerful Godslayer’s Greatsword while amassing over 200,000 runes.

If you’ve been trying to defeat the mighty Godskin Apostle in Divine Tower of Caelid to get this legendary weapon, you’re in luck! With my step-by-step guide, you’ll learn the easiest way to defeat Godskin Apostle and claim Godslayer’s Greatsword for yourself, all without upgrading your character.

Also, I’ll show you how to optimize your route to efficiently collect necessary items and gear, including Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, Fevor’s Cookbook, and Albinauric Mask. Find these items and you'll be better equipped to face future challenges and win.

But that’s not all. By following my guide, you will also accumulate over 200,000 Elden Ring Runes, ensuring you are fully prepared for your adventures in Shadow of the Erdtree. Whether you’re a seasoned Elden Ring veteran or a newbie, this guide has something for everyone. So, let’s get started.

    Collect Essential Items

In order to achieve this without upgrading, I had to start with Prophet.

    Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot

After getting Torrent from Melina, our first goal is to get two Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, which will increase the number of runes you get by 30%.

One of them is located on the beach, and you can easily descend there via the vent near the first step of Sites of Grace. And the second one will be on top of a hill on the map.

    Fevor’s Cookbook

After that, we need to get Fevor’s Cookbook to make Sleep Pot. You can definitely do this without a Sleep Pot, but in the spirit of speeding things up and making it safer, we’re going to use them.

Dectus Medallion (Left) & Morning Star & Poison Mist Incantation

Then, head to Fort Haight and pick up the left half of Dectus Medallion. Afterwards, we’ll pick up Morning Star Hammer from Broken Caravan here. Not far away, you can also get Poison Mist Incantation from Teardrop Scarab.

    Blood Grease Enchants

In the cemetery near Church of Pilgrimage, you can pick up 2 Blood Grease enchants.

Now, head to Third Church of Marika and use the portal behind to teleport to Caelid’s Bestial Sanctum. Ride all the way south through the vent behind Minor Erdtree to reach Fort Faroth.

    Beast-Repellent Torch

You can choose whether to take the next step based on your own situation. You can purchase Beast-Repellent Torch from Isolated Merchant on the map. This will scare away wild animals like rats and snails from fighting you.

Dectus Medallion (Right) & Radagon’s Soreseal Talisman

Once inside Fort Faroth, we can obtain the right half of Dectus Medallion and Radagon’s Soreseal Talisman.

    Dragon Hearts

Now, equip Morning Star Hammer, Talisman, enchant your weapon with Blood Grease, and start attacking the big white dragon. Don’t forget to refresh the loot Grease on your weapon, and before it dies, use a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, so you will be rewarded with nearly 100,000 runes and 5 Dragon Hearts.

    Rotten Breath Incantation

Then go to Cathedral of Dragon Communion, interact with the altar, and purchase Rotten Breath incantation with a Dragon Heart.

    Volcano Manor Invitation

Now, head to Stormhill Shack in Limgrave and bypass Stormveil Castle to enter Liurnia of the Lakes region. Talk to Raya on the map and she will ask you to retrieve her necklace. Purchase her necklace from Blackguard Big Boggart and return it to her to receive an invitation to Volcano Manor.

    Albinauric Mask

Now, use Grand Lift of Dectus to enter Altus Plateau. Once you exit the lift, you will see Raya. If she’s not there, you can find her on the map near Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace.

She will take you to Volcano Manor, where you can talk to Tanith and receive Drawing-Room Key. Use this key in the first room on the right and follow the route.

This way, we get Albinauric Mask and be able to use Rotten Breath without investing any points in Arcane.

    Sleep Pots

Now, we haven’t made any Sleep Pots yet. Go to Church of Elleh and buy the crafting kit and 3 Cracked Pots from the merchant. You can also purchase another Cracked Pot from the merchant near Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace.

    Collecting Mushroom And Trina’s Lily

The ingredients for making Sleep Pot are Mushroom and Trina’s Lily. Head to Folly on the Lake Site of Grace, then head north to pick up plenty of Mushrooms.

If you walk south from the same spot, you’ll eventually reach the exchange near the village of Albinaurics, where you’ll find about 11 Trina’s Lilies available for picking. Remember, Mushrooms will spawn every time you rest at any Site of Grace, but Lilies will not.

Go To Divine Tower Of Caelid

Now we are ready to face Godskin Apostle. Go to Divine Tower of Caelid and find the way there. Once you reach the basement, make sure you have Rotten Breath and Poison Mist equipped, but you’ll need a seal to use them. You can purchase the seal from Twin Maiden Husk.

    Defeat Godskin Apostle

Finally, we come to the boss battle with Godskin Apostle.

Once inside, go left and hide behind the pillar. But many say the boss even attacks them from behind pillars. To prevent this from happening, keep running into the corners, forcing the boss back every time he gets close.

Once you see him paddling back, go out and spray Rotten Breath on him. Wait until he paddles back again and throws a Sleep Pot at him, then gets close and cast Poison Mist, causing poison and rot damage over time effects.

As you can see, he doesn’t wake up from the damage over time. When he wakes up and the damage over time effect wears off, do Rotten Breath twice like the first time, then throw another Sleep Pot and cast a Poison Mist.

Don’t forget, before he dies, make sure to use another Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot to get more runes.

If you’ve followed the guide so far, you’ll end up with over 200,000 runes and the powerful Godslayer’s Greatsword. Best of all, we did this without upgrading at all. I hope you enjoyed this little guide to get Godslayer’s Greatsword. Have a beautiful day!

  • Elden Ring: Roundtable Hold May Be Changed in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC (4.28)

    Posted: Apr 11, 2023

FromSoftware's Elden Ring, an open-world RPG already revered as one of the best fantasy games of this generation, is set to expand even further with the release of its highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Among the potentially returning locations in the DLC is the Roundtable Hold, a larger hub of Lands Between inhabited by an eccentric group of characters who offer assistance and contribute to the game's cryptic storyline. The Hold serves as a welcome refuge for players, but improvements can be made to the area as well.

The Roundtable Hold is not lacking in size, but its passageways and rooms are designed to be a bit narrow to create a cozy and unique atmosphere. Despite this, finding your favorite vendor or quest-giver is still easy and quick thanks to the good design of the space.

The Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring has a unique and atmospheric design, with the central roundtable glittering gold like one of the many Sites of Lost Grace in the game's overworld. However, if the story becomes any longer, future DLCs may need to make some changes to the space to support new content.

Despite this, the area is still a memorable location that contributes to the game's overall mood and aesthetic.

Wider Story Plot in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree

The Roundtable Hold, much like other hubs in FromSoft games , serves as a central location that ties together players' quests throughout the game.

This could potentially link the Hold to FromSoft's upcoming DLC, which may explore themes related to the magical Erdtree. By expanding the Roundtable Hold, FromSoft could introduce new NPCs to further the story within the existing structure.

Additionally, Shadow of the Erdtree may incorporate any cut content from Elden Ring's DLC, making the Roundtable Hold a seamless way to connect the major campaign and DLC.

Throughout the Roundtable Hold, players will find that some rooms are dedicated to special NPCs, while others remain empty until later in the story.

One notable NPC is Hewg, a Misbegotten blacksmith who operates a forge in one of the hallways. After meeting Roderika in Limgrave, players can bring her back to the Hold where she moves in near Hewg, unsure of her future in Lands Between.

As players progress through Roderika's questline, Hewg trains her in spirit-tuning, which allows players to upgrade their Ash summons with many Elden Ring Runes. If you need it, remember the code “CSCCA”, which will help you get 5% off Elden Ring Runes or Items. Interactions like these not only provide rewards, but they also connect encounters from the open world to the hub. Such story and character expansion in Shadow of the Erdtree could similarly enrich the gameplay experience.

Also Read: Free Elden Ring Runes & Items GiveAway

While it's not necessary for Shadow of the Erdtree to overcrowd the Roundtable Hold to tell a good story, the DLC could potentially use this hub to make the area feel less empty.

FromSoft has the option to add more relevant NPCs or expand the customization options available to players, building on the success of in-depth armor customization in Elden Ring. The game already has various factions with their unique styles that could also be extended to include collectibles, treasures, or trophies in hub rooms.

In a game as depressing as Elden Ring, the Roundtable Hold may serve as an excellent spot for players to express themselves and create a personalized refuge from the harsher realities of the Lands Between.

Combat in Elden Ring can be incredibly challenging, and if Shadow of the Erdtree aims to offer a lasting experience, the Roundtable Hold presents an opportunity to relive those hard-fought battles.

While most of the hub's layout is already established, FromSoft could potentially expand the location's content offerings to create an even more immersive experience. This could involve showcasing weapons, treasures, or boss-related relics for players to collect and admire.

By utilizing the Roundtable Hold to highlight player achievements or campaign milestones, FromSoft could breathe new life into this already impressive location.

  • Elden Ring: 10 Things Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC Can Avoid

    Posted: Mar 18, 2023

After much anticipation and more than a few rumors, Fromsoftware finally announced its first expansion for Elden Ring. We know not much about Shadow of the Erdtree. Some concept art tease Miquella’s involvement, but that won’t stop us from speculating or hoping for certain things.

As good as the base game is, there’s a lot we’d like to see the expansion avoid or tone down. Let’s take a look at 10 such things here.

    1. Near-Infinite Boss Combos

Margit, The Fell Omen, was a good boss for that one time. The fight provided opportunities to learn to parody, time your dodge rolls and pay attention to a boss’s delayed attacks.

However, the overly long combos were still annoying, and they only got worse the further one progressed. As bosses get faster, use spirit summons to dwarf you in size or get lifesteal on attacks. Dealing with combos that go on seemingly forever as you roll and roll while looking for an opening becomes a chore.

It also doesn’t help that the recovery time between some boss combos is so fast, making you think there’s an opening before the onslaught resumes. If the expansion does have such a boss or two, hopefully the combos get reigned in to be closer to something like Slave Knight Gael or even Isshin Ashina instead of Maliketh.

    2. More Double Boss Fights

Since Ornstein and Smough in the first Dark SoulsFromsoftware has been trying for that next big, memorable boss fight. It succeeded here and there.

And Elden Ring has some memorable double bosses. Some were outrageously frustrating the one pre-nerf duo comes to mind, and others felt kind of there with the expansion having the focus return to solo fights would be nice.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with double boss fights, but a break from them now and again wouldn’t be so bad. By the way, if you want to kill bosses more easily, equipping yourself by using Elden Ring Runes is a good choice.

    3. Mimic Chests

The base game is notorious for no Mimic Chests, but that didn’t stop so many Souls veterans from attacking a chest just to be sure. Over time, opening a chest and not having most of your health eaten away was a refreshing feeling.

Here’s hoping that Shadow of the Erdtree continues with this, though the expansion will more than likely have something equally or more annoying to entrap players.

    4. Cryptic NPC Questlines

For every quest in Elden Ring, that’s mostly straightforward, like delivering Irina’s Letter to her father in Castle Morne. Some are incredibly cryptic. How would you know how to start the White Mask Varre Full Quest? Would you have guessed to look for Hyetta after Irina’s Quest or figured out all the steps for Ranni’s questline without a guide?

Fromsoftware alleviated some of these issues with an update showing NPCs on the map. But following questlines is still quite unwieldy. Not that everything has to be spelled out or given waypoints, but it would be nice to have some indicators on when an NPC’s questline has begun and how to continue it.

Some warnings, like crossing a threshold in the story for the quest potentially, failing would also be helpful.

    5. More Scarlet Rot Areas

Remember, when everyone thought poison-filled swamps were the worst thing ever, Fromsoftware seemingly took that as a challenge and so the Scarlet Rot was born and while it’s bad enough to suffer from the status, watching your health tick down at an almost unfair rate. The worst part is that vast environments are dedicated to it. See the Lake of Rot.

Shadow of the Erdtree may not do away with it entirely, especially given Miquella’s relation to Malenia, the Scarlet Rot Queen. At the very least, we can hope that it doesn’t encompass entire areas. Watch the Monkey’s Paw curls and give a Scarlet Rot reign instead.

    6. More Katanas

Surprisingly, Katanas aren’t the weapon type with the most options in the base game. That honor goes to DaggersStraight SwordsGreat Swords and so on. Nevertheless, with a number of powerful weapons in its category, like Moonveil and Rivers of Blood, it would be nice for other types to have their chance to shine.

ClawsWhips and Fists could all use an infusion of new weapons and it wouldn’t hurt for magic wielders to get more options besides Seals and Staves.

    7. Platforming Challenges

In terms of platforming mechanics, Elden Ring falls somewhere between Dark Souls and Sakuro.

The jump button increased one’s exploration capabilities, especially given the range of vertical surfaces to climb. Nevertheless, some areas like old Haligtree are a little precarious when it comes to platforming.

Part of that is on the Legacy Dungeons itself but it would be nice for the expansion to avoid leaning too heavily into more platforming and if it does, areas that wouldn’t outright torture you with their challenges as you’re desperately exploring and trying to survive would be nice.

    8. Smaller Endgame Areas

Beginning the base game opens up this massive world of possibility and punishment. What awaits around the next corner? Where could this innocuous door lead and what kind of horrors await in this decrepit dungeon?

It’s an excellent blend of mystery and freedom, as you can go just about anywhere. However, this feeling starts to diminish near the end. With the final areas being relatively smaller, an exploration being less of a factor. How Shadow of Erdtree resolves this is unknown, but maintaining that feeling of wonder while exploring to the end would be great.

    9. More Recycled Bosses

Most video games tend to reuse bosses, even a massive title, like Elden Ring. That’s been in development for years does it. With over a hundred bosses, it makes sense to see a few reused, even if it’s weird to see some like Astel reuses as the boss of a random dungeon.

But this is a new expansion, and it doesn’t have to cram as many new bosses as possible. It can afford to focus on quality over quantity. If you’re going to reuse enemies as bosses for some of the new dungeons, that’s understandable.

But if 10 new bosses are added and even one is recycled, it’ll be an odd experience.

    10. Boring Side Dungeons

The quality of the Legacy Dungeons varies, but at least they’re each unique and worth exploring. The same goes for the side areas. We’ll never forget Windmill Village or Castle Morne, but the side dungeons are different.

Many have simple layouts and are pretty boring. You’d have the odd trap here and there, that one Chariot riding foe and some interesting fights. But they’re mostly forgettable. Here’s hoping the expansion breathes some life into them, giving us more reason to travel off the beaten path.

Please note: If you use the code “CSCCA”, you can also get 5% off.

  • Elden Ring: DLC Called Shadow Of The Erdtree Has Been Announced

    Posted: Mar 01, 2023

Several days ago, I was thinking about when Elden Ring would announce its DLC plans to you. Because it has been one year and four days since it was released on February 25, 2022, and its sales have reached 20 million.

Well, what a magic number a year and four days is. FromSoftware also posted a new post on social media yesterday. In the post, it announces to you a DLC for Elden Ring called Shadow of the Erdtree.

DLC itself belongs to the "expansion" category. According to the developer, there will be many things. Usually, for smaller DLCs, expansion is a more important step, and it refers to adding some important content. In this regard, I am very curious if this content is a $40 content and what content it will add.

This photo is our only clue. According to the name on the photo above, it is Shadow of the Erdtree. This refers to those giant trees all over the map, and it can be expanded later on as well.

Erdtree in this photo looks charred, broken and molten. Given the events of the game, this doesn't surprise us. Because this DLC will not happen with the main story, but after the main storyline.

In this landscape, there are unidentifiable ruins, which are like a field, full of ghostly tombstones. While not actual ghosts, the tombstones themselves are like ghosts.

Then, from the photo, you can see a character with blond hair looking very lonely from the back. It is dressed in white and is riding a horned horse. I guess, this horned horse should be Torrent. In my opinion, it could be a player Tarnished character, because you can make it look like any character you want. However, it is also possible that it is a DLC NPC. Because it's on this photo of DLC, it shows that it's a certain amount of importance to the stories that FromSoftware makes. However, since the horned horse it rides seems to be Torrent, I thought it might just be the player. Later, I took a closer look and I was convinced that Miquella was riding Torrent.

We know very little about the expansion announced yesterday, including when it will be released. Right now, we only know it's "in development," but we don't know its release date or time window. My guess is that it should be released on the holiday of 2023 at the earliest. By convention, FromSoft announced DLC for past games and it didn't take much time until the release of DLC, usually only a few months. However, my gut tells me that Elden Ring's DLC this time will be more ambitious than the ones released before. Considering the relatively large scale of Elden Ring itself, its DLC needs to spend more time to make. So, we won't necessarily be able to see it until 2024.

But, I'm glad that they finally said something about DLC. Before, I always wondered if they didn't plan to make Elden Ring DLC, but turned to Armored Core. For example, Sekiro never had DLC. For this kind of large version, since it has been a guarantee in the past, this matter is no longer certain. However, I'm glad they did it this time. I really can't wait to play it, and I'm sure you can too.

Note: When DLC releases, you can use Elden Ring Runes & Items to help you play the game better. Here, you just need to enter the code "CSCCA" to get a 5% discount.
