  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Participate In Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event And Get More Loot From It?

    Posted: Feb 23, 2024

Whitestrake’s Mayhem is back! Alliance Points, Tel Var Stones and XP gains in specific PVP content will be boosted throughout the event, plus the usual Event Box rewards and Tickets, all of which attract more players to the game’s PVP content.

Also, Harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil will also be buffed because of the event, providing more resource drops.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about Whitestrake’s Mayhem event and share how to get more loot from it.

    Start Event

To participate in Whitestrake’s Mayhem, you can get the event quest from Crown Store, although this is no longer necessary.

This quest will ask you to find and talk to an NPC, which you can find at Alliance Gate in Cyrodiil or at Battleground camp outside the major city. You must be level 10 or higher to enter PVP areas. However, as mentioned before, this task is no longer required.

The reason is that event rewards are now passively applied to anyone who competes on Cyrodiil, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds. Therefore, you no longer need to use the scroll obtained from previous years’ quests to get promotions!

Completing this very simple quest does reward an Event Box, and it can be used on your alt and characters that completed it in previous years. So if you’re just looking for some boxes, go for it! But again, this task is no longer needed.

    How To Get Event Boxes?

Event Boxes have a slight chance of dropping a new Armor Style Page, but the remaining drops are mostly things players have seen before. You can earn these Event Boxes by completing the following activities:

    • Battleground Daily Quests
    • Alliance Base Bulletin Board Dailies
    • Daily Quests found in Cyrodiils 5 Towns
    • Imperial City Daily Quests

Please keep in mind that daily quests are limited, with a maximum of 50 daily quests per character per day.

    Event Tickets

When you complete these tasks, you will receive a total of 3 Event Tickets per day, for a total of 39 Tickets during the entire event period. After completing Cyrodiil or Battleground daily quests, you will receive 2 tickets, and after completing Imperial City daily quests, you will receive 1 additional ticket.

    Impresario Items

Besides, during the event, Impresario will provide a Bag of Veteran’s Glory, which will drop an item that was awarded in previous events.

There’s a lot of stuff in this grab bag, so be aware that getting everything requires more Event Tickets than the event offers. Some of these items can be found at Guild Traders. So before you use tickets to grab something from your grab bag, try buying some of these items on cheap ESO Gold.

She will also carry the usual assortment of items, including a new Style Page and one of this year’s collectibles, the first 2 fragments of Morph.

    Golden Vendor

During this event, Golden Vendor is offering jewelry from Cyrodiil item sets. The necklace will be available during the first weekend of the celebration, and the matching rings will be available during the second weekend.

During both weekends of the event, Golden Vendor will not be offering the usual Monster Masks or Shoulders, and all purchases in her store must be made using Alliance Points.

    PVP Tips

I know PVP events aren’t popular with everyone, but please let those who enjoy PVP content enjoy their events!

If you absolutely can’t stand playing PVP content, do the bare minimum to get Event Tickets.

In Cyrodiil, find a town controlled by your faction and do a quick quest there. Then go to Imperial City to do a mission. You can use your powerful factions to minimize deaths. If there is a character in each alliance, you can even swap them if needed.

The chance of dying is never zero, but if you do die, just go back and try again. If you need to leave in a hurry, you can instantly teleport to Cyrodiil or Imperial City by queuing for the city you’re currently not in.

Please note, please be careful of those griefers during this time and do not gather in large groups. You can use something like Invisibility Potion to help you avoid danger when you need it. Anyway, enjoy the event!

  • Elders Scrolls Online: Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event Is In Full Swing!

    Posted: Jul 05, 2023

The Whitestrake’s Mayhem PVP event in Elders Scrolls Online is open again! The last one took place in May earlier this year and this one is set to start at 10 AM US Eastern on June 29th, which has already happened. And it will end at 10 AM US Eastern on July 11, 2023.

    Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event Overview

In terms of event taken items and other collectibles, you can acquire from this iteration. There isn’t a difference at all. So, basically some of the helpful tips you used at the last Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event will apply to this one as well.

A big importance here is to remember to log into ESO during this weekend for the Golden Vendor. This weekend, from July 7th to July 9th, the Golden Vendor will be selling gold rings for the same sets.

Note that this is actually for players who started the event this week. Actually, between June 30th to July 2nd, the Golden Vendor has sold gold necklace jewelry for a variety of sets, including Deadly Strikes, which is a big thing right now for PVE and the newest class, the Arcanist.

So, if you want to save on potential Chromium Platings or if you want to flip sets for sale on Guild Traders later down the line to earn more ESO Gold, don’t miss out on this weekend.

What You Can Get From Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event?

Next, I’ll go over what else you can get during the Whitestrake’s Mayhem event as a refresher for those of you who forgot or are just coming back to ESO again after a recent Necrom Chapter launch.

You can get the things below with the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity active during this event. Double the Alliance Points in Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds and Imperial City. Double the XP per player kill since this isn’t a double XP event in general.

And, of course, during this event, you’ll get double the Tel Var stones in any Imperial City campaign. You’ll be able to get access to House Dufort Banneret outfit styles from Imperial City bosses and what are called sweepers, i.e. sewer bosses.

We also do have Gloamsedge armor style pages, which can drop from the Imperial City bosses and sweepers as well. Pelinal’s boonboxes will appear yet again. They’ll be coming alongside the usual rewards for the Worthy containers and PVP daily quest rewards.

Here, you can see the rewards you are sure to get:

    • Alchemy Ingredients
    • A Coldstone or Coldfire Siege Weapon
    • Alliance Forward Camp
    • Hakeijo runestone
    • Fragment of the Alliance Breton Terrier Pet
    • Tools of Domination Weapon Style Page
    • A Style item for your Alliance’s armor style
    • A Style item for Akaviri Armor style
    • Transmute Geode
    • 1x Whitestrake’s Mayhem book furnishing
    • A Chapter of your Alliance’s armor motif
    • A Chapter of your Alliance’s armor motif

These are the rewards you have a chance to get:

    • 2x Fragments of the Alliance Breton Terrir Pet
    • A FULL Gold book of your Alliance’s armor motif
    • A FULL Gold book of the Akaviri Armor motif (The odds of getting this are extremely small, only 5% to be specific)
    • Grand Soul Gems
    • Parcel of Tel Var Stones
    • Cyrodiil Siege Repair Kits

You also can get extra resources from harvestable nodes. There was a rumor, unfounded rumor: on the last Whitestrake’s Mayhem Event, this also applied to crafting surveys. Unfortunately, crafting survey nodes are not affected by the white Whitestrake’s Mayhem’s node bonuses. So, keep that in mind if you’re excited about that.

As for event tickets, you can earn up to three event tickets each day of Whitestrake’s Mayhem. You can get two event tickets from doing a daily quest in Battlegrounds or Cyrodiil. You can also get a third event ticket from doing an Imperial City district Daily Quest.

One thing I want to mention here is to not gain any more event tickets after you hit the inventory currency cap of 12 event tickets or the ones you do get will not be added to your inventory.

Things you can get from the Impresario include things like fragments for the Passion Dancer Blossom pet, the Passion’s Muse personality, the Meadowbreeze memories skin fragments, which can be merged into this white flower skin.

You can also get other things that you have not yet collected, such as Blackdrake Clan style pages, Legion Zero style pages, and more.

Of course, if you’ve missed out on Indriks in the past couple of years, you also have access to the Indrik vendor. Note that this will be the same exact Indriks or Indrik Berries and Feathers you can get from the last Whitestrake’s Mayhem.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: The Easiest Way To Survive In The Whitestrake's Mayhem Event

    Posted: May 12, 2023

Today’s topic is going to be my advice on how to get your event tickets painlessly during the upcoming PVP focused event, Whitestrake’s Mayhem as a squishy PVE player.

Please note that this guide is not going to be about every way to get tickets during the upcoming event. This is just what I found to be the easiest way to get your tickets as a squishy PVE player that tends to get very frustrated in PVP situations.

Let’s start off in Cyrodiil. Once in Cyrodiil, you might be tempted to grab the daily quests at the entrance of your alliance camp. While technically some of the requirements of Cyrodiil daily quest for the event can be completed, most of them are PVP focused and quite a challenge to complete.

So, what we are going to do is find some other PVE focused dailies to complete. There are three main towns: Bruma, Vlastarus, and Cropsford that you could go to for easy to complete PVE dailies. The daily quests themselves are easy enough to complete.

But the problem lies in the fact that these are areas that can be owned by opposing alliances. This means angry guard NPCs that will wreck your squishy PVE but along with more PVP players coming through to try to take over the town and start fights.

Another thing that I commonly see during the PVP event is players of the opposite faction camped out at the quest turn in spot even if your alliance owns the town. These towns are still in too high traffic. We need to go even more obscure.

This takes us to Weynon Priory, Chorrol, and Cheydinhal. These locations cannot be owned by any other faction and are usually very low-key, with not many players even knowing these towns exist. Let alone that they have daily PVE quests that you can do.

You can pick up one repeatable quest in Weynon Priory and Chorrol and then two daily quests in Cheydinhal. These quests usually involve a bit of walking, so make sure to getting a fast mount by using your ESO Gold.

My main tip is to load up on these quests for a few characters before the start of the event. Then, you just need to log on to that character and turn in one quest each day to get your tickets. With that, once you’re done in Cyrodiil, you can queue up for Imperial City for an easy way out of Cyrodiil, so you don’t have to walk all the way back to the main keep. As far as Imperial City daily tickets go, the dailies in this zone are widely known. Hope you can complete them with good luck.

There might be much depth involved. But here are a few tips to help make it a little less frustrating. For Imperial City, make sure to bank your Tel Var Stones every time you go to Imperial City. If you die, you will lose half your Tel Var Stones.

As far as the daily quests, you need to complete getting your event tickets. You could go up these ladders to make it easier. You can go up each of the ladders, pick up the quest, and then go back down and then go up the next ladder and pick up the next daily until you have the daily for every zone.

This is important because there is no way to pick up the dailies except at the top of the ladder. Once you jump down into Imperial City, you can’t reach the daily quest giver. Once you complete these dailies for an easy way back to the entrance of the sewers, I recommend porting to Cyrodiil and then back into Imperial City.
