  • Elder Scrolls Online: What New Content Will The Upcoming Update 44 Bring To Players? - New Companions & PvP Changes & More

    Posted: Oct 26, 2024

Elder Scrolls Online is a popular MMORPG set in the world of Elder Scrolls’ Tamriel. Currently, ESO is about to launch a major update covering new companions, PvP updates, and more. Although the focus of ESO in 2024 is Gold Road expansion, the upcoming Update 44 is equally important.

Update 44 brings new features and enhancements to the base game experience for all players. This update not only focuses on the expansion content, but also optimizes the game itself, such as greatly improving the novice tutorial, upgrading the item system, and introducing a new Grimoire - Banner Bearer.

This Grimoire belongs to Support Skill Line and can provide an AoE buff to teammates. Next, this guide will give you a detailed introduction to more new content about Update 44.

    Update 44 Is Coming

Many players have been looking forward to the release of Update 44, and now it is finally here. Elder Scrolls Online is coming to PC and Mac on October 28th, followed by Xbox and PlayStation on November 13th. Even players who don’t get any of the expansions will enjoy most of what this update brings.

This update includes some exciting new features, such as reworked Battlegrounds, new companions, and Scribing Grimoire, waiting for everyone to explore and use. In short, both veteran players and newcomers can make full use of these new features to accumulate some ESO Gold for the game.

Currently, Update 44 is available on Public Test Server. This provides everyone who wants to experience the new version of the content in advance, carefully check the changes, and look for bugs or problems. Interested players can visit Public Test Server to try it out and help the development team find and report any potential technical glitches or design deficiencies.

    New Companions Tanlorin And Zerith-var

Elder Scrolls Online will welcome two new allies in Update 44 - Tanlorin and Zerith-var. If you already have an active ESO Plus membership, you’ll get both new allies for free, otherwise you’ll need to unlock them by using crowns in the in-game store. Once unlocked, players can find Tanlorin in Auridon and Zerith-var in Reaper’s March.

Taelorin is a non-binary High Elf outcast who uses a mix of Soul Magic and Dragonknight abilities, wears medium armor, and wields daggers as weapons.

Zerith-var is a warrior Khajiit necromancer from Order of the Hidden Moon, time-traveled from First Era, who uses his necromantic powers to save fallen souls. With Zerith’s necromancy, every class in Elder Scrolls Online can now be represented by companions. Each companion grants players passive buffs when adventuring with their ally.

    Battlegrounds Update

PvP combat has undergone a major overhaul with Update 44, with Battlegrounds moving from three-way competitions to two-way battles. The traditional 4v4v4 mode will be removed after this update.

PvP will mainly provide two battlefield modes: one is a 4v4 competitive mode with four players in each team, and the other is an 8v8 standard mode with eight players in each team. The latter will include some power-ups.

It is worth mentioning that even after this major update, some classic battlefield modes that are deeply loved by players, such as Team Deathmatch, Crazy King, Domination, Chaosball (8v8), and Capture the Relic (8v8) will still be retained.

The continued availability of these modes ensures that all players, whether new or old, can find a sense of belonging in the familiar gameplay. More strikingly, Update 44 will bring seven new Battleground maps, which are tailored for the new two-sided matches.

    • 4v4 Alik’r Desert Battleground
    • 4v4 Arena Coliseum Battleground
    • 4v4 Castle Courtyard Battleground
    • 4v4 Sewer Battleground
    • 8v8 Bosmer Forest Battleground
    • 8v8 City Streets Battleground
    • 8v8 Temple Battleground

Before the upcoming new Battlegrounds, ESO has held a special Battlegrounds Deathmatch Weekend from October 17 to October 22. The event adopts a 4v4v4 battle mode and provides participants with additional Alliance Points as rewards. In addition, a new golden Battleground set piece is also added to the leaderboard rewards.

More Exciting Events In Elder Scrolls Online

In fact, this is just the tip of the iceberg of ESO’s future plans. Besides the much-anticipated Update 44, the annual Witches Festival Event has also returned to ESO to celebrate Halloween. The event will run from October 24, 2024 to November 6, during which players will participate in specially designed quests and win unique rewards.

In November, a series of exciting events will kick off, including a Domination Weekend and the autumn-themed Legacy of the Bretons event. In December, another annual event, New Life Festival, will usher in a new gaming experience and favourable time for players.

With these colorful activities and features coming online one after another, plus more secret content that has not yet been announced, Elder Scrolls Online will undoubtedly become one of the hottest games in the hearts of all adventurers.

It is worth noting that from now until June 2025, the official promise is to continue to launch various surprise activities to give back to the support and love of the majority of players. Therefore, whether you are a long-lost old player or a newcomer to this fantasy world, now is the best time to return to the world of Tamriel or explore its unknown corners.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: What New Events And Contents To Expect In September? - Home Tours, Undaunted, Free DLC & More

    Posted: Sep 10, 2024

September seems to be an eventful month for Elder Scrolls Online, not only because console players can finally enjoy the latest feature of Update 43, Home Tours, but more importantly, there are several exciting contents to be introduced during September.

From free DLC, Arms Pack, several new activities, to the return of Undaunted and noteworthy 4-Group Dungeons, here we will detail everything you will be interested in this month! Without further ado, let’s get straight to it!

    Home Tours Contest

To celebrate Home Tours feature added in Update 43, all players will be able to submit your house to Home Tours Contest from September 4th to win prizes. For all the decorators who enjoy decorating their own houses, this is definitely an excellent opportunity for you to get ESO Gold and rare decorations!

    Is Seabloom Villa Worth Trying?

In order to get to the top of the competition, many players want to try to get a new house, and Seabloom Villa is one of their wish lists. But don’t worry, let’s talk about all the pros, cons, cool features, size, furniture, and build a space of this house to help you decide if this house is worth your investment.

Seabloom Villa is a medium-sized house that can hold 200 or 400 pieces of furniture (depending on whether you have ESO Plus) and is located atop a seaside cliff on the coast of Auridon. However, the surrounding neighbors are not very good, not only because there is a World Boss outside, but more importantly there are no Wayshrines nearby, but it does have some very beautiful views, and a hidden secret!

This house and the furniture inside are all Alinor style, but the interior of the house itself is quite dark, with only a few low-light windows and a few lights. The yard around the house has 50 different plants and rocks, which you can choose to remove. The building perimeter is far from the cliff, so there is room for you to build outside the island as well.

The coolest part of this house, though, is the little Soul Gem Stand that you can’t move, but it is interactive! As you use it, flowers and vines will grow or disappear from the front wall of the house, giving it a very magical feel, which is another factor to consider when decorating.

So, is this home worth your investment? To be honest, the house is actually very small, there is nothing special inside, and it is a bit dark considering the bright and colorful surroundings outside. However, if you like decorating yards, then it is simply a wise move. And first-time decorators will find it less daunting because of its size, and the ratio between empty space and furniture capacity is perfect!

    Update 44 Live Preview

With the release of Update 43, we can also expect a preview of Update 44 and the upcoming PvP changes, all of which you can find out during Bethesda live broadcast on September 10!

    Undaunted Celebration Event

This month also ushered in Undaunted Celebration, a fun event centered on 4-man dungeons that can drop wonderful cosmetic items.

Aside from all the shiny styles you can get, the biggest bonus of this event is that after defeating the last boss, you’ll get an event coffer, which grants you a second curated set piece for each dungeon you complete. So get ready to complete some dungeon set collections!

    Curated Shoulder

Update 43 also brings Curated Shoulder Set Pieces, but having enough Undaunted Keys is essential if you want to unlock it. And in September, you’ll have even more ways to get Undaunted Keys. During this month, you’ll receive Daily Seals besides Keys for completing tasks!

    Thurvokun Arms Pack

To further incentivize dungeon crawling, ESO is also offering players Thurvokun Arms Pack as a reward. If you unlock the achievement “Returned Undaunted” by completing 10 Undaunted Pledges from Undaunted NPC here, you can claim this nifty Weapon Style Set for free from Crown Store!

    Daily Rewards

The daily rewards this month are pretty good too!

    Furniture & Festive Headdresses

Players will be able to get a ton of different furniture, including a flock of Animated Blue Butterfly Flocks and a bunch of Alinor Pieces, some Luminous Ink, and some Seals of Endeavor. There should also be a festive headdress to get you into West Weald spirit in mid-September, giving you more opportunities to dress up your character.

    Dragon Bones DLC

Dragon Bones DLC will also be given away for free in the daily rewards, giving you a couple of more difficult dungeons to enjoy during Undaunted event. This is great news for those who don’t have ESO Plus, because on the 3rd day of logging in this month you can get Fang Lair Dungeon, and on the 4th day you can fight for Scalecaller Peak Dungeon.

    Dungeon Explorer Costume

You can also get the 2 Vanquisher achievements associated with both Dungeons by completing them, and unlock Dungeon Explorer Costume for free! These achievements can be unlocked in Normal mode, but if you do complete the dungeon in Veteran mode, they will still unlock!

    Gold Road Celebration

While there is no confirmed date yet, sometime towards the end of this month, a celebration centered on the latest expansion, Gold Road, will begin, giving players the chance to head to West Weald to enjoy beautiful fall foliage, double drops, and rewards. Note, however, that you’ll need to own Gold Road Chapter to participate, but historically, expansions have been discounted during the celebration! So don’t miss out!

    Final Thoughts

Anyway, let’s have some fun with dungeons this month! The two free DLC dungeons that come with Undaunted Celebration not only offer a higher challenge but also increase the chances of earning extra rewards. So if you haven’t tried them yet, you’ll want to try them this time.

In addition, the extra rewards in this month’s Arms Pack are also very popular, so be sure to unlock and claim all the free cosmetics and dungeon rewards before they’re gone! I wish you an exciting adventure in September exploring the dungeons of Tamriel!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: What Are The Top Houses You Can Choose In Update 43? - Variety & Details

    Posted: Sep 03, 2024

In Update 43 of Elder Scrolls Online, a new feature called Home Tours was added, which allows you to share your own home or visit other players’ homes and use your creativity to build a home of your own. Most importantly, it allows you to share your creativity and passion easily with everyone in one centralized place.

But there are tons of houses to choose from in ESO. Do you have a choice? If you don’t, that’s okay. In this guide, we’re listing down the top 3 houses you should own in Update 43 so you can explore more of Tamriel in ESO.

The Necessity Of Owning A House

Many players are not used to building or choosing a house in an MMO game, because other similar games basically don’t have such a feature. But you need to pay attention to the fact that in ESO, you can use this house as a creative outlet to use your unconventional and unrestrained creativity. Or you can use it as a storage expansion so that you can store more useful Elder Scrolls Online Items.

In addition, the most important thing is that once you have a house, you can use the fast travel mechanism in the game to travel anywhere in the game except Cyrodiil or Imperial City. This means that you can quickly move between crafting stations, merchants and daily quest hubs, which will greatly reduce the time you need to explore Tamriel.

    Best Houses

According to the type of house, 3 best houses are selected for you, namely Inn Room, Apartment and Small Home. Let’s introduce them one by one.

    Sugar Bowl Suite

    • Location: Rimmen of Northern Elsweyr
    • Price: Free or 3,000 ESO Gold
    • Traditional Furnishings: 30
    • Collectible Furnishings: 2
    • Special Collectibles: 2

While there are two very nice inn rooms for journeys and lodgings in Necrom and Rosewine Retreat in West Weald, Sugar Bowl Suite in Rimmen is still widely considered the best inn room.

First up is Rimmen, the chapter hub for Elsweyr, and a very nicely laid out city with some useful features. Next up is this house, which is the only inn room in the game with an outward-facing front door, so you can fast travel to the Wayshrine after walking a few steps to the front door, which is very useful. Also, since Rimmen was the last chapter hub city added to ESO, it is not split into multiple parts, so you don’t have to wait for loading when you use the fast travel mechanic. This is the biggest difference from other houses in the city.

Once you enter Rimmen, you can easily access all the major city constructions in this chapter hub and complete your daily writes without the constraints of the loading screen, and even seamlessly enter the adventure stage. This is very useful for some players who have a time control when playing games. In addition, the crafting area in Rimmen is one of the best areas in the game, with very easy-to-see loops and long sight lines, and navigation is also very smooth. Stable Master, battle master, and Impresario in this area are all located outside the main gate of the city, and the overall transportation is very convenient.

If you don’t have enough ESO Gold to own this beautiful house, don’t worry, you can still get it by completing Room to Spare quest. But don’t get excited yet, you must understand that the disadvantage of the Sugar Bowl Suite is that there are not enough furnishing slots to accommodate all the convenience furnishings you want. If you don’t mind this, then you can enjoy the fun that Sugar Bowl Suite brings you.

    Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret

    • Location: Mournhold of Deshaan
    • Price: 13,000 ESO Gold
    • Traditional Furnishings: 100
    • Collectible Furnishings: 2
    • Special Furnishings: 2

Apartments can hold about the same number of collectibles and furnishing slots as inns, so you can expect to not have a lot of convenience furnishings in an apartment. If that’s a problem, consider the other houses. There are only three apartments in Elder Scrolls Online, but they’re all in great locations.

The most prominent of these is Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret in Mournhold, both because it’s located in one of the original capitals and because it’s closer to Mournhold crafting area. So the value of Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret has remained in the top five of all houses, but as daily quests continue to improve, ESO Gold you spend on it will come back to you in various ways.

As the capital of Ebonheart Pact, Mournhold is also one of the busiest trading centers in the game. The crafting area and Writ turning in Mournhold are not as good as those in the new cities, but they are sufficient for you to handle some daily business.

Regardless of your daily life, it is highly recommended to pick up Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret, because you only need to decorate it with a slightly generous furniture limit, which will be very interesting, and not overwhelming like some of the larger houses in ESO.

    Snugpod

    • Location: Elden Root of Grahtwood
    • Achievement: Reliquary Retriever
    • Price: 45,000 ESO Gold
    • Traditional Furnishings: 200
    • Collectible Furnishings: 10
    • Special Collectibles: 4

Snugpod is not only the best small house but also the best overall house in the total game. In addition, it is also the closest house to Stable Master and Undaunted Enclave. Like Sugar Bowl Suite, it has an exterior door, and is very close to Elden Root Wayshrine, Outlaw Refuge, and Master Writ turning.

Because of these convenient transportation and excellent location, Snugpod has become a must-have house in the minds of many players, but because of the increasing value of Undaunted, Mages Guild, and Fighters Guild daily tasks, the value of this house will continue to rise, so get it as soon as possible.

Most importantly, small houses differ from apartments and inn rooms. There are enough furnishing slots to accommodate all housing storage boxes and service NPCs. So in theory, Snugpod is the best house you can transform into a well-equipped guild hall, and it is also the most cost-effective.

These are the three best houses you can choose in Elder Scrolls Online Update 43. You can choose to accord to your own needs, and I wish you good fun in the game!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: Preview Some Of The New Contents Coming In Update 43 - Home Tours, Infinite Archive & More

    Posted: Aug 17, 2024

Elder Scrolls Online Update 43 base game patch will be released on August 19th for PC/Mac and September 4th for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Before we start playing, let’s take a look at some of the highlights of this update!

In Update 43, we have the opportunity to see the new Home Tours system in action, new content in the endless PVE Arena: Infinite Archive, including some other additional updates. In this guide, let’s talk about what these improvements and updates will bring to us.

    Home Tours

The developers said that they have been deeply involved in the new Housing Feature that has been teased for a long time, which is Home Tours. They admitted that Housing Community is one of their biggest concerns. The developers hope to create something new to help players continue to grow and share their creative homes with others. This is also where Home Tours comes into play.

Home Tours will be available in Activity Finder System, allowing players to easily visit other people’s homes. Players will be able to create listings for their homes and likewise visit other homes listed in Finder System.

You can even assign up to three tags to your home to describe the vibe of the place. For example, when you create a listing, you could assign Sinister tag to a creepy horror house, or Cozy tag to a cozier, more relaxing house you put together. You can even assign Playful and Games tags to a home that has a fun maze or jumping puzzle.

Homes listed by your friends and guild-mates through Home Tours Finder will also have recognizable symbols next to their listings. You can freely choose the house you want to visit based on these tags.

Ultimately, the new Home Tours System will give everyone a platform to show the greater ESO community that they put a lot of effort into all of their homes, not just their primary home.

    Infinite Archive Updates

Next, let’s talk about what’s new in Infinite Archive. Infinite Archive (IA for short) is an endless PVE Arena with Apocryphal theme that comes with the base game.

The faster you advance in Infinite Archive, the more challenging it becomes. But you can also earn several temporary and permanent buffs, called Verses and Visions, which can help you gradually strengthen your character build.

In this PVE Arena, you have the opportunity to fight various monsters from all over Tamriel, including some familiar bosses, but with new mechanics. As you take down monsters in Infinite Archive, you will also collect Archival Fortunes, an IA-specific currency that you can cash in for exquisite rewards.

ESO developers have always mentioned that Infinite Archive is a mechanic that can be expanded to create new experiences, and this IA update is exactly what it needs.

In Update 43, they added two new Arena types to Infinite Archive, which are based on Fire and Ice. This means that Fire Arena has fire pits that will spray lava at the player, and Ice Arena has frozen water that will freeze the player to death if they stay in it for too long. These environmental hazards will definitely challenge players.

Additionally, a new Daily Quest giver will be added, and she will require you to kill Marauders or different Fabled Monsters in order to get the corresponding rewards, including the most basic ESO Gold and some rare equipment.

They also added 10 new bosses from all over Tamriel as well as 8 new Verses, 10 new Visions, new Fabled Monsters, and 2 new Marauders.

One of Marauders is similar to Werewolf Behemoth in March of Sacrifices Dungeon, as it has a mechanic that limits your vision by summoning fog. The other Marauder is Charging Minotaur. You can also pick up a new consumable that allows you to transform into a random avatar, such as Werewolf Behemoth, once per turn, as well as some new class sets. We won’t have to wait long to try all this new content!

    Other Improvements

Beyond this, we also got some information about the additional improvements that will be experienced in the next patch.

    Mount Preview

The developers have added mount preview improvements that allow you to preview all the animations of the mount, such as crouching, walking, running, and more.

    Luminous Ink Enhancements

Luminous Ink will also be enhanced in Collections and Crown Store menus. Because in Update 43, this elusive and important Scribing material will have a new source, and we will have the opportunity to obtain Luminous Ink from Chests and Heavy Sacks.

    New Styles

In the next patch, the developers will also add 6 new Styles, which players can obtain by spending Archival Fortunes.

As we all know, Skill Styling System debuted in Gold Road Chapter, which allows players to change the appearance of skills after obtaining certain Achievements. The developers announced a preview of one of the new Skill Styles in the latest live broadcast, which changes the color of Eye Of The Storm Destruction Staff from fiery red to glowing purple. This does not change the actual effect of the skill, but it will definitely make your character cool!

    Guild Stores

Another new feature is about Guild Stores. The arrival of this feature saves you from having to re-sort your guilds every time you enter Guild Bank menu to enter the only Guild Bank you really use. When you open this menu, you’ll see the last Guild Store you used, as this will be remembered for a few seconds after you click on this point.

    Curated Item Set Drops

The last update is that there will be more Curated Item Set drops in the game. Curated in this context is a term used to describe the fact that gear that you haven’t collected yet is more likely to drop for you. It’s an oversimplification, but it’s basically what it is, and it applies to most item sources.

It will now apply to PvP Bags, Trial Reward Coffers, and Monster Shoulder Coffers. This is big news! I’m really glad they finally went ahead and implemented this so that we don’t have to waste our Undaunted Keys just to get a Monster Set Shoulder with the correct weight we need.

    Final Thoughts

That’s it for the major additions in ESO Update 43. What are your initial thoughts given everything you’ve seen?

Probably for a lot of players who play Housing on PC, the new Housing feature is a bit disappointing. Because there is already a very popular add-on that does essentially the same thing, this add-on is called EHT or Essential Housing Tools. One of its many features is that it allows you to view other players’ homes. However, the introduction of the new Home Tours System means that you can expect some new gameplay with it at its core.

Unfortunately, some people have expressed concerns about this new Housing feature. They worry that other players will be able to copy their housing creations more easily, and things like this are a pretty pressing issue in the veteran Housing Community.

Regardless, you can’t deny the fact that this will make it easier for you to share your housing creations with others. Not only will this inspire other players, but it will also promote fun gameplay as players can explore a variety of creative homes. What do you think of this update? See you next time!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Get The Most Out Of The Plus Free Trial? - What & How To Unlock?

    Posted: Jun 17, 2024

By now, you’re all aware of the exciting news. The developers recently launched ESO Plus Free Trial event, which will last until Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM EDT.

ESO Plus includes some significant features, but if you don’t normally subscribe because of price or game time, you might be wondering which quick or important feature unlocks you should focus on during the current Free Trial.

This guide has everything you need to know about instant unlocks, including what they are and where to get them so you can get them during ESO Plus Trial! We’ll also show you the best uses for ESO Plus Trial, what things you should prioritize during your trial, and what will and won’t work after Free Trial is over.

Before we get into the details, remember to activate it from Crown Store under ESO Plus tab while Free Trial is available.

    Keeping And Refining Your Materials

If your character has a Craft Bag, make sure to log in and move their stuff into Craft Bag. This way, anything in the bag will stay in the bag even after Free Trial ends, so use it while it’s available!

You can also use this Trial to refine your raw materials, preferably on a character with the best Refining passive skill and Meticulous Disassembly CP passive slotted.

    Unlocking Instant Dungeon Collectibles

First, let’s look at Dungeon collectibles, all of which are unlocked by entering 1 of the 2 dungeons included in each Dungeon DLC. You don’t even need to complete the dungeon, just enter it!

    • Visit Ruins of Mazzatun or Cradle of Shadows and you’ll get Heroic Personality.
    • Enter Falkreath Hold or Bloodroot Forge to get Bull Horns Emote.
    • Enter Fang Lair or Scalecaller Peak to get Renegade Dragon Priest Mask.
    • Unlock Werewolf Hunter Hat by entering Moon Hunter Keep or March of Sacrifices.
    • Enter Frostvault or Depths of Malatar and you’ll get Ayleid Royal Crown.
    • Step into Lair of Maarselok or Moongrave Fane to unlock Dread-Aurelian Mask.
    • Visit Unhallowed Grave or Icereach to get Wickerman Mishap Emote.
    • Enter Castle Thorn or Stone Garden to get Energetic Dwarven Shock-Spider.
    • Enter Cauldron or Black Drake Villa to use Fire-Forged Maul Weapon Style.
    • After entering Red Petal Bastion or Dread Cellar, Scorion Pyreling Non-Combat Pet will be added to your collection.
    • After entering Coral Aerie or Shipwright’s Regret, you will get these Abyssal Embrace Face Markings.
    • After entering Earthen Root Enclave or Graven Deep, Mulberry Hermit Crab will be added to your collection.

However, Scribes of Fate and Scions of Ithelia Dungeons do not offer any Exploration Achievements.

    Unlocking DLC Zone Collectible

DLC zones also have their own treasures, some of which are as easy as visiting a major city:

    Wrothgar

You can get Echalette Pet by entering Orsinium in Wrothgar.

    Thieves Guild

In Thieves Guild DLC, you can unlock Jackal Pet by entering Abah’s Landing. If you take the time to complete the first zone story quest, you’ll also get Thieves Guild Leathers.

    Dark Brotherhood

Dark Brotherhood unlocks Assassin Personality by entering Gold Coast zone, and completing the second zone story quest will add Shrouded Armor Costume to your collection.

    Clockwork City

Dovah-Fly pet is unlocked by entering Brass Fortress in Clockwork City. There are also 3 side quests available from Outlaws Refuges that will give you supply recipes.

You can also rebuild Precursor Target Dummy, but this is a bit time consuming and not worth the effort. This Target Dummy won’t give you accurate numbers when parsed, but it’s a nice cosmetic addition.

    Murkmire

This colorful Haj Mota pet is unlocked by entering Lilmoth in Murkmire for the first time.

    Southern Elsweyr

Entering Southern Elsweyr for the first time unlocks Topal Corsair Hat, and you can also complete zone side quests to unlock additional pages if you like that style. If you complete the zone story quest, you can unlock Mask of Alkosh Hat and Za’ji’s Dragonguard Uniform.

    Markarth

Entering Reach Zone for the first time unlocks Arkthzand Anfractuosity Shroud. There is also a side quest in Karthwasten called After the Storm that grants you Reach Rebel Face Markings.

The last zone story quest has matching Body Markings. And you can unlock Witchwise Headdress Collectible Hat by completing the 4th zone story quest.

    Deadlands

In Deadlands, you will unlock Oblivion Explorer’s Headwrap when you enter Fargrave for the first time.

    Firesong

When you first enter Galen, you’ll unlock Firesong Obsidian Mask. You’ll also unlock matching Face and Body Markings and Phoenix Moth pet after completing the zone story quest.

Other Uses For ESO Plus Trial

In addition, other simple and worthwhile things you can do during ESO Plus Trial include:

If you take the time to complete Daily Crafting Writs, stock up on Craft Bags! You can get basic style Stones, Potency Runes and Ta Runes, Alchemy, Ingredients, and any other long-term materials you might need from Crafting Vendors for 15 ESO Gold each.

Unlock Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Psijic Skill Lines for each of your characters. Collect Skyshards, Lorebooks, and unlock exploration, questing dyes, and achievements in areas you wouldn’t normally be able to access.

Dye your clothing! This is something that you do for every character, so the same clothing may dye differently on different characters. If you have a companion expansion, you can also dye their clothing.

On top of that, take advantage of the 2x furnishing limits in your home to complete treasure maps in areas you wouldn’t normally be able to access. If you have Antiquities rank, dig for clues that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Finally, let’s talk about the more time-consuming uses of ESO Plus Trial. You can collect 4-man DLC dungeon set pieces. Remember to bind them when you get any you haven’t collected yet to minimize duplication.

You can also fully explore and complete zone maps, completing DLC Trials to earn gear drops and achievements. Completing 2 public dungeon group events in each expansion zone grants 1 skill point.

You can also stockpile DLC Daily Coffers on multiple characters. Newer zones have a 20-hour cooldown on Motifs Page drops in the daily reward container, so you can collect a bunch of boxes and stop opening them after you get Motifs Page. Doing this will allow you to continue to earn those Motifs even after Trial ends.

What Features Will Continue To Work After Trial Ends?

So, what features will continue to work and what will no longer work after Trial ends or you stop paying for ESO Plus?

Firstly, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Psijic Skill Lines will continue to exist, allowing you to continue to loot Thieves Troves and Psijic Portals, and Blade of Woe will continue to function.

You can still assign and unassign skill points in Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Psijic Skill, Scrying, and Excavation skill trees, but you cannot develop them further, and they are only available on the character you unlocked them for.

If you no longer own Greymoor, Antiquities System will stop working after Trial ends.

Fortunately, houses acquired in DLC zones will continue to work. The only difference is that when leaving a house, you will not enter DLC zone, but teleport back to the location you were in when you went to the house.

Note that since Jewelry Crafting skill line requires Summerset, after ESO Plus expires, you can no longer access Jewelry Crafting Station if you do not own this DLC. So definitely consider completing those valuable research traits when you have access!

If you don’t plan on keeping your ESO Plus, remember to set your priorities. I recommend getting the instant unlocks first, then focusing on what you think is most important. Just a reminder, all collectibles are account-wide unlocks!

Anyway, hopefully you get all the exceptional free stuff, and this guide will help you find and unlock them! Good luck!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: How To Customize Your Own House To The Maximum In Gold Road Chapter?

    Posted: Jun 03, 2024

The much-anticipated Elder Scrolls Online Gold Road finally released today on PC and Mac! In the new Chapter, you’ll have more opportunities to get a new free manor and decorate it. But many first-time Tamriel Homeowners are still wondering: what can a house do, exactly?

There are many benefits to owning a house, but the most obvious use is to decorate it! If you already love customizing items in RPGs, then you’ll have a ton of fun with Housing system. In this guide, we’ll go over where to get furniture, as well as some decorating tips.

    Benefits Of Owning A House

Before we get started, let’s take a look at the beneficial uses of owning a house.

    Fast Travel

Houses can act as fast travel locations. Any house you own can act as a Wayshrine, which you can travel to for free from anywhere using the world map. You can even choose to spawn inside or outside a house if you just want to get into town quickly.

Every house you own, and the furniture you place in it, is shared among all characters on your account, meaning you can own as many houses as you want. Once you own a house, it’s added to your collection, so you can even go to it with a list of houses you’ve collected!

    Improve Social Interaction

There are also a lot of social elements for housing. For those who enjoy the social aspect of the game or are creative, the options are endless, such as building Mazes, Escape Rooms or Puzzles. There are even guilds dedicated to housing, which encourage you through competitions and creativity, and give you the opportunity to earn extra ESO Gold during the decoration process.

In order to invite others to your house, make sure you check your permissions and enable certain guilds or friends as guests. Houses are locked by default.

Once permissions are unlocked, you can send a direct link to your house via mail or text chat.

You can also set a house as your Primary Residence. This way, people with the appropriate permissions can visit the house using your name on the social menu, regardless of your online status. However, please note that you can only have 1 Primary Residence.

If you want to decorate one of your houses with a friend, or even hire someone to decorate a house for you, you can enable the decorator rights for certain people.

You need to place the furniture, but they can move every piece of furniture. Be careful not to grant full decorator rights to anyone you don’t fully trust. No one can take your furniture, but they can destroy what you’ve built or make it hard to find.

If this does happen, or you just can’t find a piece of furniture, you can use Retrieve menu to mark its location and find it, or just put it back in your inventory.

    Storage Coffers & Chests Available

One of the best reasons to have an in-game house is to have a place to place and use Storage Coffers and Storage Chests. There are 4 large chests and 4 small coffers available. Each large chest can hold 60 items, and the small coffer can hold 30 items, which is equivalent to adding 360 inventory slots to your account.

These Storage Chests are added to your collection as you unlock them, so all of your characters can use them, and you can place them in multiple houses at the same time.

You’ll unlock one coffer from Level Up Advisor after reaching level 18, and the rest can be redeemed with Master Crafting Writ Vouchers, Tel Var in Imperial City, or with Crowns. However, I would recommend using the in-game method.

You can name containers to help categorize items. I use 3 chests to store survey maps and label them for quick storage and categorization. These chests, and the items you put in them, are only accessible to you.

    Crafting Tables

You can also place each Crafting Table in your home. Of course, using Master Crafting Writ Vouchers, or mining through Antiquities, is also a good way to get them.

You can go a step further and try Attunable Crafting Tables. This can be used at Overland Set crafting locations to add nearby set bonuses to a crafting table and bring them home.

This is especially useful if you want to access sets from DLC areas that you can’t normally access. Assuming you have temporary access to High Isle through ESO Plus trial, you can use these Attunable Tables to replicate Order’s Wrath crafting stations, and you can still craft the set bonus after the trial ends.

    Houseguests

Houseguests are collectible furniture that can be placed in all of your homes. Some of these can be obtained from Crown Store, but others can be obtained in-game.

Since they are account-wide collectibles, they can be placed in multiple houses at once, and all of your visitors can talk to them. You can place them on a path if you want to make your home feel more lived in. You can even decorate the house with your mounts and pets.

Merchants, bankers and deconstruction assistants can also be added to your house for everyone to use. All of these have been Crown items so far, but they are definitely worth getting if you have Crown.

    How To Get More Furniture?

Now that we’ve gone over the useful uses of a house, let’s get back to decorating. Furniture and decorations can come from many places, but as always, there is a Crown option under Purchase tab in Housing Editor.

    Crown Option

If you do use Crown option, it’s important to understand that these items are tied to your account. If you use a Crown to acquire an already decorated house, those furniture items will also be tied.

This tab contains over 5000 pieces of furniture in the game. Even if you don’t plan on acquiring anything with a Crown, it can be a useful tool to help you determine exactly what furniture style and items you’re looking for.

    ESO Plus Benefits

Also note that as part of ESO Plus your furniture limits are doubled, but if you fully renovate your house and lose your membership, the items you placed will stay where you left them.

However, if you pick up and move an item after your membership ends, you won’t be able to place it again without increasing your furniture limits. As an ESO Plus member, you can expect to get a free piece of furniture in Crown Store every month to add to your collection.

    Antiquity Furnishings

If you have access to Greymoor, Antiquity system is worth upgrading to get mythic items, and you can also mine a lot of wonderful furniture from leads.

It’s important to note that furniture obtained through Scrying is bound when picked up, so you can’t sell them to other players. But there’s a lot of cool and sometimes large furniture here.

    Crafting Furniture

You can craft new furniture by acquiring Furniture Plans, and making items yourself using your existing crafting skills and crafting tables.

Furniture Plans can be found on chests, desks, backpacks, wardrobes, cabinets, trunks, nightstands, and urns. Different areas can drop different plans.

You can also get plans and furniture from daily quests in each area, fishing, or running Infinite Archive.

Of course, don’t forget to check Guild Traders. Other players may be selling plans and furniture you didn’t even know existed.

While the cooldown for finding Furniture Plans has never been confirmed, the community believes that there is a cooldown window of up to 30 minutes after picking up a purple plan, during which you can’t pick up another one.

    How To Decorate Your House?

Once you enter a house and enter build mode, you can place furniture from your inventory, house storage chests, collection and bank.

    Lock Position

You can lock their position so that they automatically snap to surfaces, or move and place them freely.

    Link Items

With free placement, you can even stack items together to build custom furniture. When you stack furniture on top of each other, it may seem cumbersome to move each item, but you can link their positions together to move them as one. You can choose an item as a parent, such as a table, and then link everything on the table together.

    Block Off Unfinished Areas

You can also block off areas of your house that are not yet finished using wall or rock furnishings. Since small furnishing limits in extensive areas, it is also beneficial to block off areas you don’t want to decorate, so that you can invest the vast majority of your ESO Gold budget in areas you care about.

    Use Furniture In Different Ways

Conversely, you can use stairs and floors to access areas of your house that you wouldn’t normally go to. You can even place items in the scenery around your house if you want to improve your vision.

You can also flip furniture to use it in different ways, such as the underside of these Coldharbour rocks with a void effect, or the underside of Morrowind table map.

    Final Thoughts

Houses are one of the most customizable parts of ESO Gold Road. There is no right or wrong way to decorate, and the options are endless. I hope this guide has given you some new house ideas, long-term goals worth working towards, or just helped you see the benefits of using them. Good luck!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: The New Gold Road Furnishing Plans Will Be Found In These Two Best Locations!

    Posted: May 20, 2024

Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road Chapter is coming to PC and consoles, and with it comes lucrative gold farming opportunities from farming new Furnishing Plans!

Furnishing Plans farming in ESO has the potential to provide players with rare and expensive Furnishing Plans that can then be sold for large amounts of ESO Gold, and this is especially true whenever a new region is introduced to the game. Typically, in a new ESO region, we will have the opportunity to obtain some new ESO Furnishings and Furnishing Plans. This means that players will be willing to spend a lot of gold on the latest stuff, especially this endgame ESO housing mains!

In this guide, I share some basics of ESO Furnishing Plans farming to get all players up to speed quickly and allow everyone to farm Plans more efficiently, no matter where they choose to farm. Besides this, I also share two of the best locations to farm Furnishing Plans in Gold Road Chapter! Without further ado, let’s get started!

    Furnishing Plans Farming Tips

There are three varieties of Furnishing Plans that can be farmed in Overland, Green, Blue, and Purple. Green is usually the most common plan sold for the least gold, while Purple is the rarest.

Especially for any of the new Purple Furnishing Plans from the new DLC and Chapter areas, these used to sell for millions of dollars on PCNA. Because of their rarity, they are rarely released with a limited supply, and there is an enormous demand for them any time you are hunting for containers.

Whether you are hunting legally or as a criminal scum doing illegal looting, you have a chance to receive Furnishing Plans that correspond to the base outfit styles that you are unique to.

So if I were to farm plans in DLC areas Bearer’s Rest and Fargrave, by looting the containers there, I might receive a nice Fargrave Furnishing Plan because that is the area I am in. Alternatively, we can get Furnishing Plans that are available in the base game like Argonian or something.

Once you have looted all the containers in an instance, it will become a ladder and you cannot loot them again. So unless good Furnishing Plans are available, what farmers like to do is reset an instance so that the container can be re-equipped and farming can continue.

Every player has a different preferred strategy for resetting an instance. But some common ones include previewing or looking at the house in Crown Store and then walking straight out the door, back to your last location, then walking out the nearest door in the instance and back.

However, you have to be aware of the fact that resetting the container is not always necessary in instances, such as Bearer’s Rest. Also, in other cases, it will give you loading screens when you walk in or out, and the items in the container will be refilled at that time.

If you want to increase your chances of dropping Furnishing Plans, then you absolutely need to make sure you wear Homemaker Champion Point at any time you are farming plans. This will give you a 10% chance of finding a second Furnishing Plan when you loot any of them in Overland.

Finally, if you have Azandar al-Cybiades Companion from Necrom Chapter. It is not a bad idea to summon him and have him accompany you to farm plans.

If you have unlocked Azandar’s Inquisitiveness perk, you will have the opportunity to discover Research Portfolios that can contain crafting recipes, such as Furnishing Plans, Treasure Maps, and Survey Reports. This way, whenever you search for containers, you will be doing a lot while farming plans.

    Farming Locations

So where should you go to farm the new Furnishing Plans that come with Gold Road Chapter? Here are some possible locations.

    Rustwall Estate

Rustwall Estate is just a short walk southeast of Skingrad. In Estate you will find Legion Barracks, which has about 20 containers to search, and in Estate you will find Legionary, which has about 20 containers that can be searched without getting stolen.

What works well here is to go through the door and then walk around the perimeter of the room in a clockwise direction while looting all the searchable containers.

I prefer to do a preview and go into Crown Store after I have looted all the containers. Then leave as soon as I get there, resetting the instance and refilling all the containers. Unfortunately, the containers won’t refill if you walk straight out of this place and come back.

    Outcast Inn

If you don’t get the loading screens, there are also a couple of searchable containers in Outcast Inn, located northwest of Skingrad, right next to the door that will give you loading screens, which is very convenient.

There are a few ways to get into Outcast Inn. But the room with a bunch of containers you’re looking for is on the first floor, right next to the stairs leading to Cellar of the Outcast. Here, I was able to quickly loot a bunch of Wardrobes in a small enclosed area, put them in my backpack, then dash out the door and walk back out to do it all over again.

This reset method was definitely faster for me since I didn’t have to open Crown Store or wait for my teleport animation to finish, but there are fewer containers here than in the first location.

    Outro

In conclusion, both of these locations are great for starting to farm Furnishing Plans on Gold Road.

Farming Plans is undeniably pretty RNG-reliant. So, unlike farming for materials or doing daily Crafting Writs, they reward you with a more reliable and steady source of valuable goods that can be exchanged for gold. But you may not always get something valuable when you search for Furnishing Plans in containers.

So remember, the benefit of this gold farming strategy is that your mind can go off for a while you farm. So it’s something you can do while doing other things, like watching a video or waiting for your dungeon queue to pop up.

Of course, if you get really lucky and get a Purple Furnishing Plan, it can sell for a pretty penny, especially if you get it early in Gold Road.

That’s it for this guide. If you saw it before Gold Road went live, you’re totally ready to get started. Good luck, good Furnishing Plan farming, and may you be blessed by RNG gods!

  • Elder Scrolls Online: Key Mythic Items Every PvE Healer Should Possess

    Posted: May 08, 2024

Today, I'm going to take a deep dive into some of the must-have gear for healers and reveal some Mythic items that promise to change your gameplay in Elder Scrolls Online. From increasing team utility to increase survivability, increasing mobility, and even providing valuable experience boosts. Let's get started!

    Pearls Of Ehlnofey

First up, we have the Pearls of Ehlnofey from the Greymoor DLC. When your dominant resource drops below 50% while trying to cast a healing ability, you instantly gain 3 Ultimate abilities.

This Mythic item is crucial for any endgame PvE healer as you can generate ultimate very quickly and therefore provide more offensive or defensive ultimates during the fight. It is a significant change when combined with Pillager's Profit, Master Architect, or Saxhleel Champion, as it helps to maximize the effectiveness of those sets.

    Ring Of The Wild Hunt

We can then pick up the Ring of the Wild Hunt from the Greymoor DLC, which is another fantastic find. This ring boosts your movement speed by 15% in combat and a whopping 45% out of combat. Additionally, you can also invest in some ESO Gold to help you if necessary.

This is a perfect tool for those of you to scry for leads that will lead you to excavation sites where you can find items or fragments of them and it comes in handy for your daily activities such as raids, surveys, questing, and resource gathering.

    Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet

Next, we have the Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet from the Necrom DLC. The Velothi Ur-Mage's Amulet enhances your effectiveness against monsters by 15%, grants you minor force to boost your critical damage by 10%, and adds 1650 offensive penetration.

However, it severely reduces your light and heavy attack damage by 99%. This set is a very powerful choice for AoE fights, and as supports, we often find ourselves farming yet another set lead or resource and we need a damage setup for farming. Having the amulet allows you to make such a setup and farm with ease.

    Spaulder Of Ruin

Coming next is the Spaulder of Ruin from the Deadlands DLC. Spear features a unique mechanic that toggles a 12 meter Aura of Pride when you crouch. This aura increases weapon and spell damage by 260 for up to 6 group members, though it also reduces your recoveries by 70 for each affected target.

It's a potent support choice for healers who can manage their resources well and offer a higher weapon and spell damage boost than some of the 5 pieces. For example, the Pearlescent Ward. Note that you do not have to stay crouched for the Aura of Pride to remain active.

    Mora's Whispers

The next one is the Mora's Whispers from the High Isle DLC. Gain up to 1528 critical chance and a 10% increased Inspiration, Alliance Rank, Alliance Skill, and 15% monster kill experience based on how many books of Shalidor's Library have been collected.

The Shalidor's Library books are the books that you collect for your major Guild skill-line. Since healers often find themselves needing both healing damage and even Tank Champion Point slottable, having extra Champion Point comes in handy. With this ring, you will grind Champion Point much quicker and spend valuable time you saved in raiding.

    Oakensoul Ring

Another Mythic item from the High Isle DLC that I want to cover is the Oakensoul Ring. It restricts you from swapping weapon sets, meaning it forces you into a single bar build and compensates by providing a plethora of major and minor buffs, such as Minor Heroism, Minor Force, Major Resolve, Minor Protection, and more.

It is a powerful combination of buffs in scenarios where you do not have raid buffs available, making it a perfect option for a simple and effective setup for solo or dungeon farming.

    Conclusion

This wraps up the essential Mythic items for healers in Elder Scrolls Online. These items offer unique benefits that can greatly influence your role and effectiveness as a healer. Unlocking these items involves diving into the rich content provided by the Antiquities system, and obtaining them could be a fun activity in its own right.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: Are These Golden Vendor Items Deserve To Be Acquired?

    Posted: Apr 27, 2024

Today, I’ll guide you through the fantastic items available from the Golden Vendor in the Elder Scrolls Online. We’ll explore whether there are any valuable event ticket items in this guide. Leveraging these vendors can serve as a lucrative gold method, potentially helping you make millions.

    Location

When it comes to locating her, you’ll find her situated in Cyrodiil. If you’re in the Blue Team, you can spot her near The Stables within the confines of Northern High Rock Gate. If you are in the Yellow Team, she’ll be positioned towards the bank in Western Elsweyr Gate. And for those in the Red Team, she’ll be stationed in Southern Morrowind Gate.

    Golden Vendor Items

Let's take a look at the offerings from the Golden Vendor and pick some of them for gold. As usual, she's selling some monster pieces and jewelry.

    Jewelry

When it comes to the jewelry, the Queen's Elegance set isn't particularly impressive but if you're building a heavy attack-focused character and lack of combs, this set might provide some utility. It grants a power boost upon using a fully charged heavy attack, allowing for repeated use. Still, there are better options available for heavy attack builds, so I'd suggest skipping this one.

Moving on to the Heirloom Necklace, it's not eye-catching, but it's not completely lackluster either. Positioned somewhere in the middle, it offers some stamina sustain for healers in PvE. It's a viable choice if you're looking to enhance group stamina recovery. I recommend acquiring one and invest ESO Gold in it. This purchase allows for experimentation and fine-tuning on the healer character.

The next item you have for jewelry is the Unleashed Amulet, part of the Unleashed Terror set. This used to be really good, but it's been nerfed quite a bit now. It's not terrible for a DoT version, and worth getting this if you want to fill up your Sticker Book. But it’s not really worth using unless you go for a super DoT build.

    Monster Pieces

Let's talk about the Lady Thorn set. The Lady Thorn comes from a DLC dungeon, making it a potential acquisition if you're seeking DLC sets. However, its performance is rather middling. You can grab it solely to fill out the Sticker Book, saving the hassle of revisiting the dungeon.

Let's then discuss the Slimeclaw. Slimeclaw stands out as an excellent choice, particularly for PvE content. If you frequently play stamina characters, having one piece of Slimeclaw in your setup is quite common. Therefore, I highly recommend acquiring this item. While it's possible to farm it, keep in mind that as a shoulder piece, you'll need to use keys, which introduce an element of chance into the process.

Nonetheless, given its effectiveness, I suggest purchasing at least one of these. In PvP scenarios, its performance isn't exceptional, as there are superior monster sets available. However, for PvE enthusiasts, Slimeclaw is definitely worth adding to your collection.

    Infinite Archive

Now, let’s go to the Infinite Archive and see if there are any good leads there. The Infinite Archive can sell leads for certain Mythic Items or antiquities, and some of those antiquities can be quite annoying to farm, especially the ones tied to daily quests. Both leads are really hard to get, so it’s always worth checking it out.

The trader in Infinite Archive is located in the Far East, and he’s called Filur. Filur sells two leads typically, and then some decoration bits. This week, he has a blue furniture and a gold lead for the Dwarven Hinges. My recommendation would be to save your resources for this week.

  • Elder Scrolls Online: These Tank Sets Coming In Gold Road Deserve Your Attention!

    Posted: Apr 23, 2024

Welcome, fellow players! This time, I'll be reviewing some of the tank-related changes that appear in the upcoming Gold Road chapter in the patch notes of Elder Scrolls Online. Let me start by telling you that the Necromancer's Restoring Tether ability is receiving a 14% healing boost, aiming to align it more closely with similar healing abilities according to ESO spreadsheets.

    Blood Magic

The Sorcerer's Blood Magic also receives a significant buff. Previously, this passive restored 10% of max HP whenever you dealt damage with a dark magic ability. From a tank's perspective, this meant you'd only proc Crystal Weapon, and then your next 2 light attacks would heal you for 10% of max HP. Now, it triggers whenever you cast a non-free dark magic ability.

While it's a slight nerf for Crystal Weapon as it only procs once per cast instead of twice, you'll now also heal for 10% whenever you cast Firebrand, Shout, Dark Deal, and Daedric Refuge, which adds up, especially since Dark Deal and Vibrant Shroud already provide healing.

    Ayleid Refuge

Let's begin with a discussion on sets, starting with the Ayleid Refuge. This heavy set, obtainable from Overland in West Wield, offers an intriguing perk: an 11% damage reduction for 3 seconds after blocking an attack. It's worth noting that tanks typically shy away from defensive item sets, largely because of the lack of compelling options in this category.

However, the Ayleid Refuge shows some promise, albeit modest. While additional damage mitigation against blockable attacks may seem redundant, the set's potential lies in its ability to mitigate damage from other sources, such as DoT effects, following a successful block. Therefore, while it may not revolutionize tanking strategies, it could still prove beneficial in certain encounters.

    Lucent Echoes

The next set I'll introduce is Lucent Echoes, originating from the new trial Lucent Citadel. Above 50% HP, it boosts allies' critical damage and healing by 11%. Below 50% HP, it grants a hefty 20% damage mitigation buff to the wearer. It's also essential to prepare for some ESO Gold in advance before the new chapter.

This set may replace the Elemental Catalyst in trial compositions. While its crit damage bonus is slightly lower than Elemental Catalyst's potential 15%, it's manageable since some groups only require crit damage from 2 elements.

With Lucent Echoes, we're at 101% of the crit damage cap of 125%. Arcanists reach 12% from Fated Fortune passive, while Wardens achieve similar values with 3 Animal Companions abilities. Templars and Nightblades gain 10% crit damage from class passives, reaching the cap with 7 medium pieces.

    Xoryn's Masterpiece

Everything discussed regarding the replacement of the Elemental Catalyst remains valid. Xoryn's Masterpiece, the light healer set from the new trial, is unlikely to be utilized on tanks, but I included it for consideration as fitting support sets in team compositions is a collaborative effort.

While it may occasionally land on a tank, its primary function is to grant 1,667 max stamina and magicka to all allies within 28 meters, equivalent to 158 weapon and spell damage. This makes it a weaker version of the Perfected Vestment of Olorime.

    Rourken Steamguards

Next, let's discuss the Rourken Steamguards. While they might initially seem useless, the concept behind them was fascinating, despite their poor execution. These Mythic gloves introduce a Parrying mechanic to blocking, rewarding players for raising their block right before an attack hits.

Ideally, this mechanic would be an innate part of ESO combat rather than limited to a Mythic item. However, the issue lies because this Mythic only grants increased damage mitigation for a brief period. At that point, it seems more efficient to dodge the attack entirely.

A successful Parrying mechanic with Mythic should offer additional benefits, such as resource restoration, buffs, or enemy debuffs, rather than just providing a temporary damage reduction. The 10-second cooldown further diminishes its effectiveness, as players would need to refrain from blocking for a significant period.
