Today I bring you my Tree of Whispers guide. Tree of Whispers is available to players after completing the campaign. It’s a great way to get Legendary Gear, Nightmare Dungeon Sigils, Crafting Mats and Gems. Here’s how it works.
How Does Tree Of Whispers Work?
Every 1.5 hours, Tree of Whispers will enable a set of 6 or more quests in each major area of the game. This means you will have 1 set of quests in Fractured Peaks, Dry Steppes, Hawezar, Kehjistan and Scosglen.
These tasks will reward you with corresponding Favor points upon completion. Depending on the type of quest, these quests award between 1 and 5 Favor points.
It’s also very important to note that if you don’t complete the mission within the remaining time, your progress will be lost and you won’t get any rewards. So I suggest you use Diablo 4 Gold to prepare more consumables before the mission starts to avoid wasting time.

Tree of Whispers doesn’t care how close you are to completing the mission. If the mission timer is up, the mission is over. Once you get 10 Favor points, you can’t get more Favor points. And you need to choose 1 of 3 Reward Cache in Tree of Whispers.
Afterwards, you can proceed to collect Favor points. Rewards are gear slot specific caches. These treasures are either rare or legendary and contain 1 or more pieces of Legendary Gear, Nightmare Dungeon Sigils, Crafting Mats and Gems.
Mission Types & Rewards
Here I have compiled some favorable task types and their rewards so that you can quickly get more Favor points.
The first is that completing a specific World Event will award 1 Favor point. Clearing a specific Cellar awards 1 Favor point. There is also Cull The Wicked quest that requires killing 50 of a specific monster type of award 1 Favor point. Violation quests require you to activate a quest item and defeat a boss rewarding you with 1 Favor point.
Harvest quest requires you to collect 100 quest resources from defeated monsters to activate a Shrine and defeat 3 bosses, eventually rewarding 3 Favor points. Ritual quest needs to activate 4 Ritual locations and rewards 3 Favor points. Last but not least, clearing certain dungeons rewards 5 Favor points.
You can also earn more Favor points by completing Legion Events and World Boss Events. Both events are on a separate timer, and then there are other Favor quests.
Often, these tasks can be combined to make progress on multiple tasks at the same time. For example, we can combine Harvest quests with Cull The Wicked quests and World Boss Events to reduce the number of monsters you need to kill. Or you can take advantage of Diablo 4 Boosting Service to help you kill bosses faster.
Tips & Tricks
I also have a trick that allows you to accumulate Favor points beyond the 10-point cap. You need to earn 9 Favor points before completing a dungeon mission that rewards 5 Favor points.
This means that after completing a dungeon quest and turning in 10 Favor points as a reward, you will get 4 bonus points in the next set of 10 points. Favor points quests can also spawn in Helltide area, so you can combine Favor quests and Helltide area quests to earn even more Favor points.
Regardless, the faster you earn Favor points, the more likely you are to get Legendary Gear in Tree of Whispers. So hurry up and try it out. Hope this guide helps you.
