For example, when you unlock World Tier 3 and complete the quest chain to unlock Infernal Hordes, you will usually find compasses from Tier 1 to Tier 3 in Nightmare Dungeons, Helltide Chests, Helltide enemies, and Tree of Whispers cache.
In the previous PTR, some advance players have tested that the probability of dropping Infernal Hordes Compass in Tree of Whispers cache is 75%, and the drop rate of the remaining locations may require you to explore yourself after the official launch.
In addition, you need to fight monsters of different levels in these locations. For example, in WT3, you need to fight monsters of level 50-70; in WT4, you need to fight monsters of level 70-100; when you reach Tie 100 in WT4, you need to fight monsters of level 100. As you progress into the later stages of the game, you’ll be able to obtain some rare Tier 4-8 Infernal Compasses that will help you in the later, more difficult content. Likewise, higher-level Nightmare Dungeons and Pit drops higher-tier Compasses.
Infernal Hordes Compass is actually very similar to Nightmare Dungeon Keys before it. The deeper you go into World Tier system, the harder it is to get Compasses. So you’ll want to make sure your character’s attributes match the current World Tier before you start looking for it, so that your exploration will be easier.
Depending on the level of Infernal Compass, you’ll find various affixes on them. Generally, the higher the level of the location you’re in, the fewer resurrections you’ll have and the more waves you’ll get.

How To Make And Upgrade Infernal Compasses?

He will tell you that you need to obtain two very competitive resources, Forgotten Souls and Sigil Powder, before you can make the compasses you want. When you get an Infernal Compass, you can unlock the corresponding Infernal Hordes. But after Tier 3 Infernal Compass, if you want to get a higher Tie compass, you need to use Abyssal Scrolls to help you upgrade.
Abyssal Scrolls are usually found in Helltide Mystery Chests or in the material packs in Spils of Hells you will get after Infernal Hordes run ends. You can use it to upgrade your Infernal Compass to unlock higher Tie Infernal Hordes. What you need to note here is that starting from Tier 4, each level up will add an additional Abyssal Scroll.
Here is good news for you. The drop rate of Abyssal Scrolls has been increased when Season 5 is officially released. So you can find it in Treasure Goblins and some loot chests in the game world.
