  • ESO: How Do Companions Work In Combat?

    Posted: Sep 15, 2021

In the Blackwood chapter of ESO, the new companion system is very popular, it can give you a permanent follower to assist your adventure. For some new players, IGGM will make a detailed introduction so that they can immerse themselves in the game more quickly.

    How to recruit Companions?

Only two companions are currently available, but we can expect to get more in the future.

    Mirri Elendis

You can find this dark elf nightblade near Doomvault Vulpinaz in the north of Blackwood. Go to that place, look around for a note, and you will begin the quest of Shattered and Scattered. This will allow you to help Mirri rescue her kidnapped crew. Upon successful completion of the quest, Mirri will follow you on adventures.

    Bastian Hallix

You can find this imperial dragonknight in Deepscorn Hollow. It is located southeast of Leyawiin, not far from the shore. Upon arrival, you will find Bastian tied up in a cave. All you have to do is talk to him and start the Competition and Contracts quest. He will ask you to help investigate other parts of Deepscorn Hollow, once you clear the trouble in the depths, he will become your loyal companion.

How do you spec them out in combat?

Although they are not the main source of DPS, they are more capable than tanks or healers. Because your companions will trigger skills in a certain order, you need to plan the specific positions of the skills. If you want to use the healing skill frequently, then you need to put it in the front slot.

    * You can direct Companions in combat by pressing the L3 + R3 buttons and Left or Right Bumper or pressing Y on PC.

    * If you perform a heavy attack on a target, your Companion will automatically change their focus.

    * Companions will trigger their Ultimate Ability automatically, but you can also force its use by pressing L3 + R3 or clicking the Icon on PC.

    * Companions can be revived with a Soul Gem, but they will also revive at the end of combat.

    How to level up companions?

They will eventually reach the maximum at level 20, improve their HP and combat power, and learn new skills and abilities. There are several different styles of companion skills, including:

    * Weapon Skills: Require specific weapons to use.

    * Armor Skills: Require specific armor to use.

    * Guild Skills: Level up by completing certain daily quests for your current Companion.

    * Racial Skills: Applied based on the race of your Companion.

    * Class Skills: Level up automatically based on the level of your Companion.

  • ESO: Which Are The Best Parts In Blackwood?

    Posted: Jul 08, 2021

ESO: Blackwood was released in June and contains more than 30 hours of new content, as well as a new Trial - Rockgrove, powerful gear upgrade options, and an exciting companion system. You can explore the visually stunning towns of Leyawiin and Gideon, Niben Forest in the north, Blackwood Bogs and Black Marsh in the east, and Gloomire in the south.

The two most exciting parts of the expansion are the story and Rockgrove 12-person trial Blackwood's plot begins almost immediately, that is, you rush to find members of the Council before you’re killed by what appears to be the Dark Brotherhood. This can help you integrate into the game immediately. The main battle and side quests are suitably paced and attractive, but a little short. You will easily pass through it without realizing it, which may disappoint some players in the full-price expansion.

As for Rockgrove, despite its simplicity, the square environment design, is anything but straightforward. The bosses are competitive and challenging, even on normal difficulty. Fans of raids will get a lot of fun from Rockgrove. From new bosses with powerful abilities and combinations to the great new gear that can be unlocked, these are all waiting for you to explore.

In addition, the companion system is also an aspect of interest to players. Although it has fulfilled some promises, it also needs more development. Companion is very suitable for solo players, new players, low-level players, or to fill out a team for challenges. Companions are very balanced and will not rise to the level of intelligence or strength that other players may have, but they can still prove support in battle.

Although ESO still has some shortcomings, that is, the repetitiveness of the content will make players feel tired, and some of the content is not fleshed out enough, but all of this is developing in a good direction. So players can look forward to the future ESO content, they should be more and more perfect and will be attractive enough. For more ESO-related news, you can also find them on IGGM.

IGGM will always be committed to providing cheap ESO Gold. Old ESO players should not be unfamiliar with IGGM, but if you are a new player and are looking for a reliable website that sells ESO Gold, you must check IGGM.

  • ESO Blackwood: Best Companion Skills For Bastian Hallix

    Posted: Jun 07, 2021

In ESO, the companion system is exciting. NPCs are willing to travel with you, and you can get help from companions to complete some quests.

One of the companions is Bastian Hallix, who is tied up in Deepscorn Hollow. Talking to him, you can initiate his quest - Competition and Contracts, the first step is to recruit him as a companion. In addition, companions with various skills can help you in battle.

    Unleashed Rage

It may be the strongest of all Bastian skills. From the Ardent Warrior skill type, Bastian will release his accumulated rage in a devastating explosion against the enemies. He will initially inflict 8415 flame damage and stun the enemies for 4 seconds.

He will also release four lines of fire in a cross formation, causing 2102 flame damage himself. Although this is the only skill with no cooldown, it is also the only skill that requires Ultimate to execute.

    Scorching Strike

It causes initial damage and at the same time causes damage for a while. Just instead of a bows-and-arrow, it’s with melee. Bastian will attack enemies with fire when asked to use this skill. The initial attack will cause 5610 flame damage, but as the fire continues, it will also cause 8412 flame damage for 8 seconds.

    Basalt Barrier

From Radiating Heart skills, Bastian will summon earth for defense and will be given a shield. This shield will absorb 2250 points of damage for 6 seconds. And during the entire damage shield period, all healing is increased by 15%. The cooldown time is longer at 12%.

    Piercing Arrow

It will cause significant damage to the target. Choosing this skill will make Bastian aim and shoot arrows with amazing accuracy. When hit, the enemy will receive 8683 points of physical damage.

    Crag Smash

Bastian will throw a piece of molten rock at the enemy to cause additional damage. The molten rock will cause 5610 points of physical damage. Crag Smash has a cooldown of fewer than 8 seconds and a minor time of 0.4 seconds.

So to a certain extent, Bastian can support you and make your adventures smoother. Now that the Blackwood PC is online, players seem to be eager to start their new journey. Having sufficient ESO Gold in your pocket is always the right choice.

  • ESO New Trailer Shows Companion System

    Posted: May 07, 2021

ESO: Blackwood Chapter will go live on June 8. It will introduce a new companion system where you will be able to explore Tamriel accompanied by an NPC follower. Before the release, ZeniMax Online Studios has released a new companion trailer showing the partners in action.

When Blackwood Chapter arrives next month, you will get two unique companions - Mirri Elendis and Bastian Hallix. They all have their own set of skills and different behavior preferences. June 8th will bring more new content than the companion system, new areas, questlines and the next-generation updated Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions will all arrive. Of course, the companion system is an exciting new addition. In time, they are not the best in dealing damage, but they can bring you a different game experience.
