The team behind the latest Season 1 update has published two blog posts on Call of Duty website, announcing all the changes. The first blog post covers the core features of Black Ops 6, mentioning adjustments to weapon animations, aim idle sway delay, maps and modes.
The update also makes general adjustments to the stability of the entire gaming experience, which also includes some changes to some Zombies. The December 10th BO6 update, however, really revolves around weapon balance and headshot damage.
Everyone loves buffs, and if you're a fan of Call of Duty, then you should be very happy about the recent patch that will enhance your favorite gun.
CoD Black Ops 6’s latest patch, Warzone buffs, improves a lot of weapons, especially in terms of accuracy. It's more than just making sure every bullet hits the target, which is explained in detail below.
Whether shooting from the hip or aiming through a scope, each of the buffed guns will perform better in the hands of players, allowing them to continually improve their skills. There is less recoil, less idle sway, and less movement when players are moving. This allows for a tweaked weapon balance that will undoubtedly increase the difficulty for players who rely on CoD: Black Ops 6 Bot Lobbies to quickly complete challenges.
Do these changes make the game less realistic? Maybe. But realism is clearly not a priority here. The developers are making a power fantasy game, and these changes make the game more in line with their goals.
Players will find much improved stability when turning, moving, changing postures, and shooting, especially when ADS.
Aiming Idle Switch Delay
Aiming Idle Sway Delay is a mechanism that scales the idle sway of the weapon when first entering ADS so that the initial aim point matches the crosshair positioning. The selection of these values has been improved and is consistent across all weapon categories. Sniper Rifles, which previously only scaled the initial idle sway by 50%, now fully scale.
The developers also mentioned that they will be keeping a close eye on the sniper situation. Powerful guns are fun, but getting blasted by an invisible sniper can occasionally be frustrating. If these changes make snipers too oppressive, the developers may walk them back.
New Changes To Maps And Modes
While the focus of BO6 Warzone patch remains on guns, that's obviously not the only change on the menu. There are also some minor tweaks to different game types, and some small adjustments to maps.
First up is the simple stuff, tweaking the spawn logic for the map 'Hacienda'. Also, fixed is a visual bug on Nuketown Holiday that caused a little too much green on players.
Then there are the tweaks to missions. The score limits have been increased for Domination, Kill Order, Kill Confirmed, and Team Deathmatch games. The increased score limits also apply to Confirmed and Deathmatch in the 10v10 Moshpit.
The score increases are fun when combined with weapon buffs, and you can take down enemies more easily, but you also need to kill more to win the match.
Prop Hunt has also had some minor tweaks, with all items except the oversized ones now having a movement speed buff. The round timer has also been shortened from 4 minutes to 3 minutes.
All of these changes are live now, and If you are affected by the lack of certain props in the game, you can follow IGGM Discord giveaway channel, where we will regularly post information about free props.
