Getting Mystery Box may not be difficult, but it will cost you 950 Essence to open it, or only 10 Essence if it happens to be during Fire Sale. Mystery Box disappears after it is opened once, and the player will get a random weapon. Getting Ray Gun may require a bit of luck, otherwise you have to prepare a lot of Essence.
You can increase your chances by using Wonderbar GobbleGum. Wonderbar GobbleGum will make the next box you open a Wonder Weapon. You still don’t necessarily get Ray Gun, but the chance is much higher.

2. Looting Bank Vault/Armory
Armory is in Terminus, and Bank Vault on Terminus is in Liberty Falls. In both maps, after you defeat the elite enemies, they will drop loot keys. You need to pick up the key and then rush to Bank Vault and Armory, where you can find Safety Deposit Boxes. Safety Deposit Boxes require the loot key. All players can enter Armory, but you need to know the password to enter Bank Vault.

Liberty Falls
- Vending Machine: Eat Melee Macchiato at the vending machine in Motor Lodge Motel.
- Liberty Lanes Bowling Alley: After finding 5 pairs of bowling shoes, complete the bowling mini game.
- Mr. Peeks Mystery Box: Use Mangler Cannon to shoot the car with Mr. Peeks in the back seat. You will then receive a random weapon.
Terminus
- Void Cannon Easter Egg: Use Deadwire Pack-a-Punched weapon to shoot the radio tower and Void Cannon will gain power. Then use Void Cannon to destroy a meteor.
- Fish Spots: Use dynamite on Fish Spots to drop a random weapon, free Perks, and Perkaholic ability.
Citadelle Des Morts
- Rat King Easter Egg: After grabbing the cheese in Town Square, continue to look for 10 different rats around the map. When you see the rats surrounding the plate in Oubliette Room, place the cheese on the plate to get a reward.
When you complete these ribbons, you will definitely get a lot of weapons, whether you get Ray Gun or not. It’s a shame not to try out new weapons, and Bot Lobbies are a great way to relax and experiment with your weapons.
4. SAM Trials
This is the last way to get Ray Gun. Players need to activate SAM Trial on SAM Trial Machine. After activating it, the player will be teleported to any location on any map at any time. The location of SAM Trial Machine is random, but the player can find the location of the machine on the mini-map, and the machine will also emit a purple beacon. Players need to use 750 to 1000 Essence to activate this trial.
After activating the trial, the player will see a random challenge on the screen. Completing these challenges will increase the rarity of the reward. The content of the reward is random, but only if you complete the challenge and get a higher level reward you will have a higher chance of getting Ray Gun.
In general, there is no stable way to get Ray Gun, but the above method can at least increase your chances of getting Ray Gun.
