The core items in this build have not changed, including the primary weapon for Shockburst Rounds. Note that here, you should not equip the implicit version of the crossbow with extra bolts. This is because the reload speed of this base is very low and you have to shoot quickly to avoid being crushed by monsters.

So if you are going to upgrade your weapons, it is recommended that you get extra bolts as explicit modifiers, along with high attack speed, physical damage, and short reload time. You can even use Weapon Swap for this.

To be more cost-effective, you can use bolts with a lot of flat physical damage for Shockburst Rounds, and bolts with fast attack speed, short reload time, extra bolts, and decent physical damage for Explosive Shot. You can even get some fire damage in there.

In this build, we used 2 weapon sets. The dual wielding set as an offensive set, and the mace and shield set as a defensive set. We put all totems in the dual wielding set, which will snapshot our passive offensive skills. Offense

In terms of offense, as you know, in Path of Exile 2, to get the most out of totems, we need to increase the gem level and increase global damage. We can increase the gem level by:

- Gloves and Amulets will give you +2 and +3
- +1 from Ascendency
You can corrupt gems with Vaal Orb to get higher skill levels, but it is risky and you may end up with nothing. All in all, you can get to a level 40 Totem.

Then, we will convert all damage to fire damage from the passive skill Avatar of Fire. So in weapons, we need to look for the prefix “Increased Elemental Damage with Attack”, which is a global increase. In the passive skill tree, we focus on finding nodes that increase Totem Damage, Attack Speed, Area of Effect, and Attack Area Damage, as well as jewel slots with Totem Damage, Fire Damage, or related content.

In this build, Fire Penetration doesn’t do much besides mapping. Because when we face the boss, the boss resistance can already be lower than 0 just by using Curse and Fire Exposure. So when you encounter the boss, just place Solar Orb, cast Flammability under the boss, and channel Incinerate on the boss to help the totem cause more damage. For Curse, if you have to fight a boss that changes position frequently, you can use other auxiliary in addition to Cursed Ground Support.

Defense

Next, let’s look at the defense mechanism of this build. Since we start from the bottom and have a lot of Evasion or Armour nodes, we equip a hybrid armor that can increase both at the same time, and assign a keystone called Iron Reflexes to convert all Evasion to Armour, providing us with some survival armor.

In addition, at the bottom left of the passive skill tree, there are a few points that can increase the maximum elemental resistance. So if you still have some points, increasing these resistances is a good choice. When combined with gems that increase maximum resistance, you can even increase resistance to 90%, especially for Fire Elementals, which is easier than other elements.

For defensive skills, we use Scavenged Plating, because it has a good synergy with Resonating Shield, which can increase our armor by more than 80%. That’s almost double. The helmets, body armor, gloves, and boots we need are all mixed Str and Dex, which can provide us with Evasion or Armor. The only thing to look for is gloves with +2 for all melee skill levels and amulets with +3 for all melee skill levels.

For weapons, in the offensive set, you look for 2 two-handed maces with a required level of 64 or lower, which have +7 melee skill and increase elemental damage on attack. Path Of Exile 2 Mysterious Shade Quest Guide: How To Complete This Quest Fast?

Mysterious Shade is the third quest we have to do in Path of Exile 2 Act 1. This interesting quest takes you to a graveyard to collect some keys. How To Start?

First, let’s see where to start this quest. You can get this quest after completing Secrets in the Dark quest or discovering Grim Tangle in Grelwood.

Note that you must complete Secrets in the Dark quest, otherwise the tree roots will block your path and you will not be able to proceed.

Secrets In The Dark Quest

To start Secrets in the Dark quest, talk to Una in Clearfell Encampment. You will then need to explore Clearfell until you reach the entrance to Grelwood. The exact location varies per instance, so you’ll need to explore and find it on your own. There’s no predefined method.

Entering Red Vale

Once you’re in Grelwood, you’ll need to find a tree with three glowing runes at its roots, then summon Una and she’ll send you to Red Vale. Again, you’ll need to explore Grelwood to find the entrance. You can also kill Forgotten Witch and Brambleghast for some extra POE 2 Currency and loot.

Finding Obelisks Of Rust

In Red Vale, you’ll need to find these structures called Obelisks of Rust, interact with them, and clear the monsters that spawn after the interaction. After clearing them, be sure to loot the green items that drop. Repeat the above steps for the second Obelisk as well. However, at the third Obelisk, you’ll need to defeat the Rust King instead of a normal monster. So be prepared ahead of time.

Defeating Rust King

Since Rust King is vulnerable to lightning damage, it’s best to prioritize using lightning attacks if you have any. Once everything is done, grab the green item that the boss drops and open the portal to Clearfell Encampment, interact with Renly. He’ll give you some spikes and use Waypoint to return to Grelwood. Then pierce each rune with the spikes given by Renly, interact with Una, and return to Clearfell. You will then have completed Secrets in the Dark quest!

Mysterious Shade Quest

Once you have completed the above quest, you can officially begin your Mysterious Shade quest. Head to Grim Tangle, which you can find through Waypoints, or while exploring Grelwood. As mentioned before, the map is always random, so the map described here will not be the same as yours.

Draven

Una will help you clear the roots, and now your goal becomes to continue through Grim Tangle. This means you need to explore Grim Tangle until you find the exit to Cemetery of the Eternals.

Find that exit, then talk to Lachlann the Lost, who will let you find two keys in two different Mausoleums.

Explore the cemetery until you find the first one. In this instance, our first key is found in Mausoleum of the Praetor. Here you need to find the boss room, the center of Mausoleum, where you will fight Draven.

Draven’s main mechanic is that he attracts those little green ghosts, and when he attracts three of them, he gains power. To stop them, you just have to step on them. It is worth noting that in addition to his basic attack, he will also send out a barrage of projectiles, so dodge them in time.

Asinia

This time, you’ll fight Asinia, the Praetor’s Consort. The same ghost mechanics work here, too, with Asinia also attracting green ghosts and gaining power, and again, you can stop them by simply stepping on them.

In the first phase of the fight, she mainly does melee attacks and summons circles on the ground. Then in the second phase, she summons Draven to help her, who fires a barrage of projectiles when he appears, so dodge in time.
