Monopoly GO: How To Play Sticker Boom Event? - Time & Explanation

Posted: Aug 14, 2024
Source: IGGMOne of the hidden charms of Monopoly GO is collecting seasonal Stickers. While players can collect cards in free packs, it is undoubtedly a very time-consuming process. Therefore, it is wise to trade these cards or utilize the boost through events like Sticker Boom to collect a full set of cards.
Although Sticker Boom event occurs frequently, it lasts for a relatively short time. Therefore, it is necessary to seize the opportunity of such events. This passage is about the sharing of relevant schedule and explanation of Sticker Boom to help know it better.
Next Sticker Boom Event Date
According to reliable sources, the next Sticker Boom event in Monopoly Go will be held on August 14, 2024, at 8 AM CDT / 9 AM EDT / 6 AM PDT / 2 PM BST. The duration of the event is only 10 minutes, and you’ll have 24 hours to chime in.
The Explanation Of Sticker Boom
During the activity of Monopoly Go Sticker Boom, players can harvest 50% more Stickers than the amount of normally received when opening packs.
For example. If you open a pack during the non-activity period, you will get two Stickers, but if it is during Sticker Boom period, you will be awarded three Stickers.
At this time, there comes a problem, which is, if the original reward number is an odd number, according to the 50% more method, the final number of Stickers is not an integer. At this time, it is generally rounded up. For example, for three Stickers, you will get five Stickers instead of four and a half Stickers. Something like half a sticker does not exist in the game.
Here lies a detailed table for the same:
- Packs: Green; Normal Drops: 2; Drops During Sticker Boom: 3
- Packs: Yellow; Normal Drops: 3; Drops During Sticker Boom: 5
- Packs: Pink; Normal Drops: 3; Drops During Sticker Boom: 5
- Packs: Blue; Normal Drops: 4; Drops During Sticker Boom: 6
- Packs: Magenta; Normal Drops: 6; Drops During Sticker Boom: 9
Although you will get a 50% boost, considering the short running time of only ten minutes. Therefore, you’re less likely to get any significant benefit from this event unless you play your cards in a right way. But in practice, it is difficult to harvest good enough packs during this rushed time.
The 10-minute reward is fixed and has nothing to do with the login time. But in order to maximize the power of Sticker Boom, you have to start the game when you expect to receive packs. Just like the way you did in new events or leaderboards, running through them for early packs instead of playing after you’ve already reached big milestones.
Here lies things you can control to maximize, just like the way of Sticker Boom:
- Tournament rewards and early milestones
- Rewards through major events
- Quick Wins
- Free Gift in Shop
- Vault
- Endless Offers
If you want to get packs through Monopoly Go Card, you can schedule your play time freely without the limitation of time.
Another point need to be noticed is that your Stars from now on will no longer unlock Vault once the season ends, and will be converted to dice rolls instead, Therefore, collecting duplicate cards for the sake of Vault next season could not be counted as a wise choice anymore.
In a nutshell, this is the sharing of Sticker Boom, with its time and explanation being included. Wish you a pleasant game journey!

Snow Racers Which Can Offer Generous Rewards Is Back In The Game! - January 8-12, 2025
Board game fans, do you miss the feeling of getting a lot of rewards in last year’s very exciting racing events? Now, the first team racing event of 2025, called Snow Racers, has entered the game at 10 am EST on January 8, and is expected to end at 3 pm EST on January 12.
Unlike the partner events previously launched in the game, you can explore this Tycoon Racers event with your three teammates, and you are also allowed to participate in all the races alone. So from this guide, you can understand the specific gameplay, precautions, and some reward lists of the current Snow Racers, which will make it easier and smoother to get rewards from it.
How To Play Snow Racers?
Because the gameplay of Racers Event differs from many limited-time events and tournaments, you need to prepare for it before you can start the fun exploration, so the specific gameplay is divided into two parts: preparation and competition. Here is their introduction.
Preparation
When this Tycoon Racers event starts to be active, you need to build your own team or find a team to join on the first day. You can find reliable helpers in your friend list, or you can find players who are familiar with the rules of the game and have been active for a long time in some player communities to join your free Racers Event Slots.
You must not be idle before the formation is completed. You need to collect Snow Racers Flags that are very important to the current event in other activities in the game, such as the currently active single-player banner activities Snowy Resort and Halfpipe Havoc Tournament. The milestones they provide will reward you with a certain number of flags.
Not only the currently active activities, you can also get some flag rewards through Shop Gift refreshed every eight hours and Quick Wins updated every day, as well as some cash, free dice and multiple sticker packs of various colors.
In addition, when your tokens land on tiles with flag icons on the board, they can provide you with some free Snow Racers Flags. The exact number of flags you get depends on the multiplier you use when rolling the dice - the higher the multiplier, the more flags you get. But your dice cost will also increase accordingly, so you can participate in some things like Dice Giveaways On IGGM Discord to increase your inventory to keep up with all the activities.
Each time you roll the dice in Snow Racers, you need 20 flags as a condition. Just like regular board games, you can use multipliers here: the higher the multiplier, the more flags you spend and the more rewards you may get from it. Although high multipliers will make you less risky here, it is still recommended to use high multipliers within a reasonable range to ensure that your exploration of Snow Racers event can proceed steadily.
Once you have collected enough Snow Racers Flags, you can start exploring this event with your teammates at 11 am ET on January 9. But before that, please double-check that all three of your Racers Event Slots are full and your teammates are very active. You can modify or quit the team you have formed or joined before starting the game, so don’t be held hostage by a team you are not satisfied with.
Start Competition
After you rotate your racing token around the board a specified number of times, your team will receive some lap bonuses, which will gradually increase as the game progresses. However, as an event that requires you to cooperate, the rewards provided to your team in this Snow Racers event are both cumulative and shared. This means that you will share all the rewards you have earned at the end of the event, including the final leaderboard rewards.
Alternatively, you can participate in this Snow Racers event as one team, which will significantly reduce the time and effort spent searching for teammates and the risk of slowing down your exploration progress due to teammates being inactive or unfamiliar with the game rules. You can become the master of your own exploration process and get all the rewards from it!
All you need to do is check I want to play solo option in the partner invite screen in the Snow Racers event interface, and click the orange Race Solo button again in the pop-up window, and you will be placed in a team and match and race with other single-exploration racers instead of competing with those teams for rewards.
Whether you participate in this Snow Racers event as a team or as a single-exploration, you can get a different gaming experience in it. The only difference may be the difference in the reward list, which we will explain to you in detail below. However, it should be noted that some rewards for single-exploration have not been fully announced yet, so you can wait in the game.
Snow Racers Event Leaderboard Rewards
As mentioned earlier, the lap rewards you get in Snow Racers event are cumulative, and the rewards provided to you by these points are also cumulative. These leaderboard rewards can only be claimed when the event ends on January 12. Here is the specific reward list.
Four-Player Team Mode
First Place
- Snowmobile Board Token
- Winter Racing Emoji
- Wild Sticker
- 2,700 Free Dice Rolls
Second Place
- 1,000 Free Dice Rolls
- Purple Sticker Pack
Third Place
- 500 Free Dice Rolls
- Blue Sticker Pack
Fourth Place
- 175 Free Dice Rolls
Single Player Exploration Mode (subsequent rewards have not been announced)
First Place
- Snowmobile Board Token
- Winter Racing Emoji
- Blue Sticker Pack
- Pink Sticker Pack
About Lucky Rockets
When you explore as a team in this Snow Racers event, you can also use a new feature called Lucky Rockets to make your rewards even greater. When you or your teammates complete a specified number of laps, Lucky Rockets will be given to you as a reward, and you can use it in the next round of throwing.
After you use Lucky Rockets, you will see that your dice on Snow Racers theme board will only appear as 4, 5 and 6. This is very suitable when you are only 4-6 spaces away from your target tile, and if you are using some high multipliers to throw, the number of points you get is very high, as long as you have enough Snow Racers Flags.
The above are the specific gameplay methods and some reward lists of Snow Racers in this game. I hope you can enjoy the best gaming experience in this returning game and get high-value stickers from the sticker packs that are rewarded to you to complete the current season sticker album. I wish you a happy game!

How To Get Points From Snowy Resort Event?
As a single-player banner event, this Snowy Resort event requires you to move tokens to any corner tile to get points, and each corner tile can give you 4 points. Although the points reward provided to you on the tile is fixed, you can maximize the reward with a higher dice multiplier.
But it is worth reminding you that the higher the multiplier, the more dice you need to spend, and the risk of running out of them is also very large. So in order to avoid this situation, in addition to the way to get dice for free in the game, you can also increase your inventory through activities such as Dice Giveaways On IGGM Discord to ensure that the exploration process of the event can continue.
Best Strategy
While the dice you roll in this pickup event are random, it is possible to maximize the number of points you can earn if you use some strategy. The first thing to look out for is Go to Jail tile, as it not only gives you point but also gives you a chance to get back the dice you just spent on a mini-game.
In addition, the railroad tile is also worth your attention. Since the events in the game don’t appear alone, there will always be a tournament active at the same time. So you can land on the railroad tile to get the points you need for the milestones of the tournament, and it can also provide you with very generous rewards.
On the board, you can also pay attention to the shield tile. Because the shield it provides can protect your landmark from the shutdown performed by other players while the tournament is active, which will also reduce the amount of cash you spend on repairing the landmark. On top of that, it will also return some dice to you if you already have a shield.
The above is the list of rewards and some gameplay strategies that this Snowy Resort event will provide you. I hope you can have the best gaming experience in this interesting event, and with the help of this event, complete all sticker albums of the current season as soon as possible and claim the ultimate rewards. I wish you a happy game!

Don’t Miss Out On This Snowman Tournament Which Offers You Generous Rewards! - Jan 7-8, 2025
With the end of Jingle Joy season approaching, any event that can give you a lot of stickers is worth your attention, especially the current Snowman Tournament, which can bring you super generous rewards. It has entered the game at 3 pm Eastern Time on January 7 and is scheduled to end at 1 pm Eastern Time on January 8.
Given that this event only has 22 hours to explore, the time is tight, and the task is heavy. But before exploring, it is also very important to understand the specific milestone reward list and gameplay strategy of this Snowman Tournament from this guide, because it will make your process of earning rewards easier!
About This Snowman Tournament
Like all tournaments in the game, the points required for this event are also obtained from two mini-games (Shutdown or Bank Heist) that you trigger by rolling the dice to move tokens to the railroad tile.
Your performance in these two mini-games determines the number of points you can earn. You get 4 points for completing a Shutdown, and 2 points for failing it. But there are three scenarios for Bank Heist: 4 points for a small one, 6 points for a large one, and 8 points for bankrupting the other player.
If you’re lucky enough and Mega Heist is active while you’re participating in this tournament, you’ll have the opportunity to complete Mega Heist Gold Bars, which will give you 12 points! In addition, the dice multiplier you use when moving tokens will also directly affect the number of points you end up getting - the higher the multiplier, the more points.
But it’s important to note that the higher the dice multiplier, the more dice you spend. To avoid the risk of running out of dice, you can participate in some fun events like Dice Giveaways On IGGM Discord in your free time to enrich your dice inventory.
Snowman Tournament Milestone Rewards
Since this event only lasts for 22 hours, the milestones you need to complete are reduced to 40, which requires you to earn about 42,020 points. Unlike other single-player banner events, in the tournament, as long as your total points are in the top 50 of the full game leaderboard, you will receive additional rewards. The higher the ranking, the more free dice you will get and the higher the value of the sticker pack. The following are the leaderboard rewards provided to you in this Snowman Tournament.

- 11th to 15th Place: 50 Free Dice
- 16th to 25th Place: Cash Reward
- 26th to 50th Place: Cash Reward
Game Strategy
Among all the activities held in this board game, the most common and practical strategy is to expand your Dice inventory as much as possible and use the dice multiplier reasonably. Because the activities that require this important prop in the game are not single, once there is a scene where it is used up, the exploration process of most activities will become slow or even stagnant.
On the current board, in addition to the railroad tiles that need your attention, the shield tiles are also very important. During the active period of the tournament, other players can also destroy your landmarks in the same way, but if you have a shield, your losses will be minimized, and the cash you spend on repairing the landmarks will also be reduced.
The above is the reward list, gameplay method and strategy provided to you in this Snowman Tournament. I hope you can get the rewards you want most in this short-lived event and complete all the sticker albums in this season as soon as possible. I wish you a happy game!

How To Get Rewards Related To Glacier Glide Event?
In this cold winter, it is definitely exciting and fun to do some ice and snow sports, such as skiing or sledding! But if you don’t have the time and conditions to try them out yourself, it’s also good to experience them in the game by participating in new events simply!
This week, the game has launched a series of daily tournaments in order to continue to provide you with uninterrupted board fun this week. Many of them are themed pictures of ice and snow sports, such as Glacier Glide, which we will introduce to you this time.
Of course, besides the eye-catching skiing theme pictures, Glacier Glide will still bring you a lot of rewards through milestones, provided that you have enough dice to move forward on the board.
Based on this, we will introduce you how to play to get all Glacier Glide rewards.
Overview Of Glacier Glide Event
As one of the latest tournaments this week, Glacier Glide has officially started at 1 pm EST on January 6 and will last until 3 pm EST on January 7. Compared to the larger tournaments that run for 2-3 days, Glacier Glide doesn’t last very long, so you’ll need to hurry.
It’s worth noting that Glacier Glide event will end with the recent Peg-E Sticker Drop event together, so this is your last chance to get Peg-E tokens. You should make good use of this Peg-E Sticker Drop. After all, Jingle Joy sticker season is coming to an end.
How To Get Glacier Glide Event Rewards?
Like playing most other tournaments, Glacier Glide requires you to use as many dice as possible to advance on the board, but at the same time you can only get event points if you land on 4 railroad tiles. These four tiles will provide some mini-games to play, and you can only get more points if you work hard to get excellent results.
Shutdown Point Rewards:
- Unsuccessful-2
- Successful-4
Bank Heist Point Rewards:
- Small Heist-4
- Large Heists-6
- Bankrupt-8
It is worth mentioning that if you have accumulated enough dice by playing other events before, and you plan to take all the rewards as soon as possible in Glacier Glide event, it is recommended to increase your dice multiplier. This way you can get more points at a time and complete all Glacier Glide milestones faster. If you find that you don’t have enough dice during the game, remember to enter Dice Giveaways On IGGM Discord in time to seek free extra dice.
What Rewards Does Glacier Glide Event Offer?

How To Prepare For The New Golden Blitz? - January 6-7
Daily tournaments are held almost every day so that you can have a chance to get sticker packs through milestone rewards, which will open more new stickers. But what if your sticker packs always bring duplicate stickers? This is when Golden Blitz event becomes particularly important!
As a flash event, Golden Blitz is not held very often and lasts for a short time, usually no more than 24 hours. But only during Golden Blitz can you exchange Gold Stickers with other players to help both of you expand your sticker albums.
Recently, as the collection of Jingle Joy sticker albums is coming to an end, the frequency of Golden Blitz in the game has also increased. Following last week’s Wintry Nest and Merry & Bright stickers, this week you will exchange with others for Holiday Miracle and All Good Things stickers from set 12/14.
Based on this, we will introduce you to how to participate in this week’s Golden Blitz to exchange Gold Stickers successfully.
What Is Golden Blitz?
Golden Blitz is actually a special trading event in the game that usually lasts about 15-24 hours. During this time, the game allows you to trade two specific golden stickers with other players. Although the stickers that can be exchanged will normally change with each Golden Blitz event, sometimes the same stickers will be reused at different Golden Blitz events when the current sticker season is late.
Also note that although you can receive any number of selected golden stickers from friends or strangers as you want during this event, you can only actively initiate five golden sticker trades per Golden Blitz.
When you enter the game and see the event icon on the right side of the game board, it means that there is a Golden Blitz going on, and the number of trades is directly on the top of the five standard stickers you can send per day.
January 6-7 Golden Blitz
This Golden Blitz event will officially start at 8:00 a.m. EST on January 6, 2025, and will last for 24 hours, ending at the same time on January 7. During this time, you can exchange Holiday Miracle and All Good Things Gold Stickers with other players.
I believe you have also noticed that the frequency of Golden Blitz has increased recently, because Jingle Joy season is about to end, and this season is not only shorter, only half the length of the normal season, but the number of Gold Stickers you need to collect is still the same. So you must seize every Golden Blitz opportunity to ensure that you can fill your Jingle Joy album before the end of the season.
In addition, the dates and exchangeable stickers of the recent Golden Blitz are attached to provide you with a reference for preparing for more subsequent Golden Blitz events:
- January 6th-7th 2025: Holiday Miracle (set 12) and All Good Things (set 14)
- January 2nd-3rd 2025: Wintry Nest (set 9) and Merry & Bright (set 11)
- December 24th-25th 2024: Socks (set 8) and Eye on 2025! (set 13)
How To Trade Gold Stickers?
Gold Stickers can only be exchanged during Golden Blitz event, and the tradable Gold Stickers must also be specified by the current Golden Blitz event. Any time period outside the event and unrelated stickers cannot be traded for Gold Cards.
As for the specific trading steps, first you need to log in to the game to find your sticker album, and select the tradable stickers you have in the album - just like selecting ordinary stickers, and then set up the exchange or send it to a friend! Of course, to comply with the rules, you can only send a maximum of five Gold Stickers per day during Golden Blitz.
How To Get Gold Stickers?
Although the exchange of Gold Stickers is very limited, there are more ways to get them. First, during Monopoly Origins season, even if there are no gold packs in this season, you can still find Gold Stickers in other normal packs.
But you need to be aware that the drop rate of Gold Stickers in normal packs is very low, and this drop rate varies depending on the star value of the card and pack. If you want to increase the probability of getting Gold Stickers, you must ensure that you can continue to get packs. Only when you get more packs you will have a greater chance of finding Gold Stickers through them.
And if you want the highest-level 5-star Gold Stickers, then you’d better work hard to get 5-star purple card packs. Compared with green, yellow, pink and blue packs, purple packs appear very rarely. At least among the 40-50 milestone rewards of tournament events, usually only 3-4 will provide purple sticker packs. So if you have the opportunity to get one through Quick Wins, you must try to seize this opportunity.
If you find it hard to earn Gold Stickers through your own efforts in the game, you can also try to find people who can give you Gold Stickers for free during Golden Blitz events. Some communities may have players willing to donate excess Gold Stickers to you directly, or accept you to exchange standard stickers for Gold Stickers - gold for gold is not required.
Regardless, in most cases, Golden Blitz events are always based on the premise that you have Gold Stickers. Since there are various tournaments currently being held in the game, you should really take advantage of the sticker pack rewards provided by these tournaments. And if you find that you are short of dice when playing tournaments, it would be a good idea to enter Dice Giveaways On IGGM Discord!
