What Is Galactic Getaway Event?

This Galactic Getaway event continues the tradition of Monopoly Go’s tournament events in terms of mechanics. Unlike partner events, tournament events only require you to advance on the board by Monopoly Go Dice, and complete various tasks or mini-games to earn points to complete milestones and get rewards.

Galactic Getaway event started at 8am ET on November 20 and will run until 10am ET on November 22. During this time, you can score points by hitting any four corner tiles on the board.

How Do You Score Points In Galactic Getaway Event?

As we’ve already covered, to score points in Galactic Getaway, you need to hit any four corner tiles while advancing on the board. These tiles include different tasks:

• Go space: When you land on this tile instead of just passing through it, you can also get some extra cash.
• Jail: It doesn’t do much other than making you stay on Monopoly Go board for a short time.
• Free Parking: Landing here may result in a bonus board boost event, giving you a free dice roll or some extra cash.
• Go to Jail: If you land here, you need to leave to continue by using dice or cash.

When you land on these corner tiles in Monopoly Go, we recommend using the dice roll multiplier to increase the points you get in Galactic Getaway. To get points faster, it’s helpful to increase the dice roll multiplier when you think you have a chance to land on any of the four tiles mentioned above!

What Rewards Are Included In Galactic Getaway Event?

Most of the rewards are ray gun tokens for Treasures of the Galaxy, which can help you participate in this Monopoly Go November excavation event. In addition, you can still get Monopoly Go dice, cash and sticker packs as regular tournament event rewards.
