Source: IGGMIf you often play Monopoly Go or are familiar with this game, you will find that it often holds various colorful events in the game. Some of them are internal events of Monopoly Go, and some are joint events with other games or movies and animations.
Undoubtedly, compared with the former, the latter can attract more new players and wide attention through joint events. Starting from September 26, Monopoly Go held a joint event with Marvel that lasted until December 5, and provided many items with Marvel elements as event rewards.
Among all the rewards, besides the various Monopoly Go Cards that can be collected for Marvel Go sticker album launched there is another very attractive reward, that is Doctor Strange Shield.

What Is Doctor Strange Shield?
Doctor Strange Shield is more like a new skin of the shield in Monopoly Go than a shield. As one of the important props in the game, the shield can be used to protect the player’s board landmarks from attacks by other players in Shutdown events. Since it is often used, the game also provides various skins for it, which can be regarded as a kind of decoration on the player’s board.
In the event where a new shield can be obtained, the game will design the appearance of the new shield according to the theme and elements of the event. In this linkage with Marvel, Monopoly Go chose Doctor Strange as the design inspiration for the shield among many Marvel characters.
In fact, this is not surprising. As a popular character in Marvel series, Doctor Strange is a talented and powerful magician. He protects the earth from the threat of evil mysterious forces by manipulating reality, traveling through dimensions and casting powerful spells.
It can be seen that he is a positive character full of justice, and the “protection” characteristics he shows are in line with the characteristics of the shield protecting the player’s landmark in Monopoly Go. So if you are a fan of Doctor Strange, or want to decorate your shield and game board with Doctor Strange elements, then you really shouldn’t miss this new shield.
