Last Epoch Season 2 (5 Best Minion Builds): Are These Helpers Still Useful?

In many role-playing games, usable minions have always been the favorite of many players, because they can not only help the characters used by the players to resist some super damage from the enemy, but also inflict additional damage to the enemy to make the whole battle easier, and Last Epoch is no exception.
The minions provided to players in Last Epoch have very high damage output and health, and when they are matched independently of the character attributes, there will be a more unexpected effect. More interestingly, players can match minions with multiple talent specializations to get a nearly perfect combat helper.
Although the current game has entered Season 2 Tombs of the Erased, and the attributes of many gears have also changed, what will not change is that some class builds that focus on ranged attacks will be very willing to match minions with armor attributes or attack attributes. So this guide will introduce you to several minion builds that are still powerful in the current season so that you can make a quick choice.
1. Fire Wraith Army From Necromancer
Ever since the beta of Last Epoch, Fire Wraith Army has been performing amazingly well. It is still considered one of the best minions by players because it can safely run 1,000 corruption echoes.
The two Idols required in this build give you a chance to summon a Fire Wraith when you summon a Wraith, as well as Dread Shade, life drain, Volatile Zombies, and Transplant.
Since this build doesn’t have that much defense, you may want to choose Exsanguinous Body Armor, Boneclamor Barbute Helmet, and Death Rattle Amulet to keep yourself safe. In addition, Last Steps of the Living Leg piece, Phantom Grip Ring, and Ambitions of an Erased Acolyte Relic will have more beneficial buffs for this build.
You can also use Aberrant’s Call Scepter to increase your Melee Damage, Spell Damage, and Damage Over Time in battle. Most importantly, it will increase the level of Summon Wraith by 1-3, so it must be one of the most important items in the current build.
2. Thorn Totems From Shaman
Shaman’s ability to summon minions has made it one of the most popular classes in Last Epoch, and Thorn Totems is the most special one among the many summonable minions because it can have multiple forms: healing allies, damaging enemies, and customizing.
This Spriggan form may be the most frequently used form by players in Shaman mastery. Healing allies during battle and dealing tons of damage to enemies will further improve your ranged attack characters’ subsequent enemy damage skills, allowing you to smoothly earn all that Last Epoch Gold.
In the process of making this build, you may need to use Ferebor’s Chisel Dagger and Ferebor’s Ring to increase the critical chance of Totems minions, and Legacy of the Quiet Forest, Eterra’s Path, Stormcarved Testament, and Death Rattle.
3. Wraithlord From Necromancer
Wraithlord minion is another version of Wraith Army in the game, but in this version you will not use a large army but a large minion. It can help you resist the damage of some higher-level enemies as much as possible, so that the back-row minions with damage attributes can be more safely output.
The core gear in this build is Wraithlord’s Harbour Helmet, which can spawn a Wraithlord and bring you all the benefits of the skill tree that the normal Wraithlord has. The damage capacity of these skills will be adjusted accordingly based on the minion’s Minion Necrotic damage.
Additionally, other unique items like Exsanguinous, Death Rattle, and Last Steps of the Living are essential in this build, as they all provide some very high damage capabilities to this highly survivable minion.
For your skills in Wraithlord build, you also need to choose around Wraithlord, such as Dread Shade and Infernal Shade, which it uses in combat, and Transplant, which increases your movement speed.
4. Manifest Armor & Forged Weapon From Forge Guard
Manifest Armor minion build is very similar to Wraithlord build, both of which provide you with a powerful minion with super defensive capabilities in combat. This set of builds will be very suitable for players who want their characters to be extremely tanky against all sources of damage, and pairing it with Forged Weapon minion may make this build even more perfect.
In this collaboration, Manifest Armor minion is in the front to deal most of the damage from enemies, and Forged Weapon minion is in the back row to deal more ranged or elemental damage to enemies. To get the most out of this minion build, you might want to throw in items like Death Rattle, Phantom Grip, and Code of an Erased Sentinel.
Or you could go with some gear that has affixes that buff the melee and physical damage you have in your build, so that Manifest Armor minions have a chance to get in the first wave of attacks while resisting all damage.
5. Ballista Falconer From Rogue
The Ballista Falconer minion makes Rogue class, which was not very effective in Last Epoch Season 2 Tombs of the Erased, a member of the large minion club and has a special build method. With this specialized Ballista Falconer minion, some passive skills and gear used by the player will have some benefits to it, thereby enhancing the specific effectiveness of the build.
Recommended build options here are Boneclamor Barbute, 2 Phantom Grip rings, and Orian’s Descent, which will make these two minions more defensive and mobile; Death Rattle, Uethrin’s Stand of Authority, Kestrel of the Fox, Zeurial’s Hunt of Acid, and Melvern’s Writ will double the damage of these two minions.
The above are the 5 most worthwhile minion builds in Last Epoch Season 2 Tombs of the Erased and their specific effectiveness. I hope you can lead these little helpers who can bring you different benefits to complete the many challenges in the current season and earn more loot. I wish you a happy game!
