Source: IGGMAfter a successful February 2024 release, Last Epoch has decided to rework its upcoming seasonal content plans, and the latest event, Imperial Uprising, revealed in a recent official blog post, as well as the accompanying quality of life patch, shows the developer’s determination to seek more changes.
However, there is also some bad news for Last Epoch fans, namely that the highly anticipated Patch 1.2 has been delayed to the first quarter of 2025. But on the other hand, we also have more time to prepare for this update, and this Imperial Uprising Event is an excellent opportunity!
This Last Epoch Cycle Refresh Updates, Imperial Uprising Event brings players a lot of new content and opportunities to seek character advancement, giving everyone a fresh start. In this guide, we will talk about the duration of this event, the new changes and features, and the quality of life changes brought by the update. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Event Duration
According to the official blog post, Last Epoch Imperial Uprising Event runs from September 19th to October 20th.
After the one-month event is over, the cycle will continue, but modifiers will revert to their original state. Updates will remain, and players’ characters will remain in the cycle until the next cycle event or patch 1.2.
New Additions
Imperial Uprising will introduce many exciting features, including new enemy types, Loot Lizards, Shrines updates, and a new Stash Tab Priority System. In addition, players will enjoy several improvements to Last Epoch Bazaar as part of the new quality of life changes. Let’s take a look at them in detail.
New Buffs
During Imperial Uprising Event, players can get huge buffs in Cycle, Legacy, Online, and Offline modes. You don’t have to do anything to get these boosts, you just have to log in and start killing.
- 50% More Favor Gain: Get more Favor by killing enemies.
- 50% More Reputation Gain: Since Reputation is closely tied to Favor, the total gain from Reputation is increased by 125% during the event.
- 50% More Gold Drop Rate: Increases the amount of gold dropped by enemies, helping players gain wealth faster.
- 50% More Random Unique Drop Rate: Encourages players to collect rare and unique items by increasing the drop rate.
New Enemies
In addition, more enemies will appear during Imperial Uprising, including Loyalist Undead packs and Skeletons, which will have various rare leaders and special powers, as well as a group of followers. Players will face a larger number of enemies in Monolith of Fate, including areas where Undead do not normally spawn.
But more worthy of players’ attention are Loot Lizards, which are actually Treasure Goblins that can appear randomly. They will flee from the player and rush to the enemy pack, dropping Last Epoch Gold behind them. You must try to chase them before they escape, reducing their health until they drop the loot. Note that you must defeat them in a timely manner, as they will completely disappear from the map if you wait longer than 20 seconds.
There are five different types of Loot Lizards, each with their own unique loot pool, making hunting them a rewarding and engaging activity.
New Shrines
Eterra introduces 28 new Shrines that provide buffs and cast powerful skills to aid players, including 15 Player Skill Shrines, 2 Loot Lizard Shrines, 10 Power Shrines, and 1 Dungeon Shrine. Player Skill Shrine will allow players to automatically cast a given player skill at regular intervals, granting powerful temporary buffs from their skill tree when applicable. This is great for helping you get some big loot explosions while chasing Loot Lizards.
I must warn you, though, that Shrine power will disappear when you enter an Echo or Dungeon Boss Floor, so don’t rely on it too much!
Stash Tab Priority System
This update also introduces a new feature, Stash Tab Priority System, which enables players to more efficiently organize their inventory management by setting the priority configuration of Stash Tab. Once the tabs are configured, quickly moving items into Stash will place the items into the tab that matches the item’s attributes, regardless of which tab you currently have open. This will greatly avoid the situation of chaotic item storage that was previously encountered.
Players can prioritize items based on various criteria, such as players can prioritize by item type. If only one item type is selected, players can also select specific sub-types, such as Citadel Boots.
This feature can also prioritize items based on rarity, such as sorting by restrictions such as Unique and Legendary Potential items or items with Weaver’s Will. Of course, players can also set Class, Tier, Item Faction restrictions to better organize their Stash.
Bazaar Updates
For quality of life improvements, several updates to Bazaar will enhance the player experience, especially in terms of item trading and inventory management.
In addition to better navigation and search functions, new options have been added to the item affixes and sub-types available to players. Players can now list items directly from their Stash for easier trading. And when items are listed in Bazaar, Favor will now update immediately.
This is just part of the update. The developers will also introduce another quality of life improvements aimed at simplifying trading and item management.
Anyway, these are all the key changes brought by this Last Epoch Imperial Uprising Event update. I hope you can make full use of this one-month limited-time Cycle Refresh and prepare for the arrival of Patch 1.2!
