3. Time-limited area

The Golden Apple Archipelago will be available as an event area for a limited time, the island in the east of Mondstadt was first seen in patch 1.6 and returning with a new look in patch 2.8.

4. New Storyline

A Strange and Friendless Road is a new storyline in Version 2.8 and the first act of Kaedehara Kazuha's Story Quest, the Acer Palmatum Chapter.

5. New Hangout Event

Trap 'Em by Storm is Shikanoin Heizou's Hangout Event, and players need 2 Story Keys to unlock it and must have completed Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals, Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II - Transient Dreams and Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I - Rise Up, Golden Soul, and reached Adventure Rank 40.

6. New weapons

The Cursed Blade is a new weapon introduced in Version 2.8, and players need to obtain it by completing the Acer Palmatum Story Quest.
