FFXIV Patch 6.05 introduces a new instanced dungeon - The Excitatron 6000, it is full of rich content, you can collect some rare equipment, crafting items, and even minions. You can get various rewards, FFXIV Gil is one of them.

How to access the Excitatron 6000?

First, you need to find the corresponding timeworn map, which is a Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map. These are found by harvesting level 90 mature trees, lush vegetation patches, mineral deposits, rock outcrops, and fishing holes. This means you have to make your miner, botanist, or fisherman job to reach level 90. Of course, there is another faster way, you can use Gil to buy them from the Market Board.

Once you have the map, you need to use the Decipher command to decipher it. If you don't have this command, you need to complete the level 36 quest - Treasures and Tribulations, which can be unlocked by speaking with H’loonh in Eastern La Nocsea - Wineport (X: 21.1, Y: 21.1).

Before we start, another suggestion is to go to the dungeon with a group! This is beneficial to you, because as the content gets older, things may become tricky. In addition, every time you open a chest according to the Timeworn map, there is only a 50% chance that the corresponding Treasure Dungeon will appear.

When everything is ready, after deciphering the map, go to the specified location and use your Dig command on the spot. Digging will let a chest appear, stay vigilant at all times because a wave of monsters will come.

How to complete the Excitatron 6000?

Completing the Excitatron 6000 is depend on luck. There is a treasure chest in the middle of each room, and each instance of the dungeon has 5 rooms.

Opening the treasure will cause enemies to appear, you need to defeat them to open the real chest and get rewards. Each room also has a chance to spawn more enemies.

After opening the chest, you will get a key, which you can use to open one of the two doors in the room. This is another gamble, because one door will take you into the next room, and another door will cause the entire group to leave the dungeon.
