Source: IGGMCurrently, FFXIV's Patch 6.35 has been launched, which includes relic items, a new dungeon and the Loporrit tribal quests. In that way, you can have an enjoyable experience until the developer makes the next major update.
Currently, FFXIV is in its after Endwalker's patches. Since the developer is constantly adding new content to the game, you are lucky to have the opportunity to enjoy a smaller, more frequent update that the developer brings to you. In addition to these, FFXIV's follow-up patches will gradually reach a climax, and the main patch will be the direction of continued efforts.
Currently, Square Enix has released Patch 6.35, and brought you some new content. I'm sure you're looking forward to the update as much as I am.

What's In Patch 6.35 Of FFXIV?
1. Deep Dungeon: Eureka Orthos
In FFXIV's Patch 6.35, the next Deep Dungeon called Eureka Orthos has been released. What are Deep Dungeons? You can enter the dungeon alone or in a group with others, and it's all about exploration and further adventures. Deep Dungeons will randomly generate a floor for you, and you need to pass through this floor, and finally defeat a boss. Only then do you complete each main floor. If you want your adventure to be easier, you can use FFXIV Gil to obtain more powerful equipment and weapons, which will improve your strength and allow you to easily deal with the bosses encountered in the adventure.
As the second Deep Dungeon to be released, you'll embark on an adventure in Eureka Orthos, heading to an Allagan Laboratory beneath the Crystal Tower.
2. Hildibrand Adventures
In Patch 6.35, Hildibrand Quests will appear in the menu again. The Hildibrand Questline is fantastic and very easy for you to complete.
To do this, you'll need to complete an original questline, which stems from A Realm Reborn. However, it may take you some time to be able to complete the entire questline. So, if you're interested in the quest, you'll need to complete the original game's quest first.
3. Relic Questlines
As exquisite equipment, Relics are available for you to grind for. Typically, relic items are used for transmogrification purposes or as charms. They can also provide you with a strong alternative to other weapons if you want to grind for them.
Since the relics of Endwalker have some connection to Manderville, it can only be started after you have completed the questline.
4. Loporitt Tribal Quests
In Patch 6.35, Loporitts accept their tribal quests. These tribal quests allow you to invest more into a tribe. If you want to know more about them, you can do so through this questline. After the Omicrons in Patch 6.25, the Loporitts are the next tribe to receive their tribal quests.

FFXIV Castrum Meridianum Dungeon: How To Safely Complete This Dungeon With Three Bosses? - Full Guide
As you progress through your character level in Final Fantasy 14, you’ll encounter a special dungeon at level 50 called Castrum Meridianum, which is also the penultimate dungeon to explore in Patch 2.0’s A Realm Reborn MSQ. Only by completing this dungeon can you advance to the final dungeon run.
While the quest to explore this dungeon isn’t too difficult, you may need some combat strategies to help you complete this Castrum Meridianum dungeon run more quickly, because it contains three boss encounters. Plus, this dungeon has long cutscenes before each encounter, so if you’re limited on time, having the strategies for unlocking and defeating the bosses covered in this guide may allow you to complete all the quests without rushing.
Unlock Castrum Meridianum
As mentioned above, you can unlock this dungeon by completing the penultimate Rock the Castrum main quest in A Realm Reborn MSQ. After you complete the quest, you can enter it using Duty Finder. Alternatively, you can move to the entrance of Northern Thanalan, which also leads to Castrum Meridianum dungeon you need to explore next.
Once inside, you can complete the exploration of this huge dungeon one by one, according to the quest log on the screen. You will encounter three bosses in turn: Black Eft, Magitek Vanguard F-1, and Livia Sas Junius. The other little monsters are pretty simple, and as long as your item level is high enough, you can rely on them in this dungeon to farm FFXIV Gil as well as other loot that can be used to enhance your build.
Three Bosses
Of course, before challenging these three bosses, you need to first understand their attack moves and mechanisms so that you can effectively deal with and avoid them. Next, we will introduce the specific information of these three bosses one by one. Please prepare your powerful characters and start fighting!
Black Eft
The first boss you need to fight is Black Eft, and some 8th Cohort soldiers. They mainly use auto attacks to cause small amounts of damage to you or cast continuous fire damage on you. You only need to improve your own defense ability, and Black Eft has the following attack moves that you need to pay attention to.
- High-powered Magitek Ray: The boss will cause untelegraphed area damage to the front of itself. During this skill, you will see that it is gathering power in the cannon in front of it. This is a sign. You need to move to its sides or back to avoid this attack.
- Incendiary Support: This skill will cause four unavoidable damage to your entire team, so during this period, the healer in the team needs to exert force to restore the health of all players quickly.
- Request Assistance: Like many bosses, Black Eft will also spawn more enemies during the battle to help it cause more damage to you, including more 8th Cohort soldiers and Magitek Colossi. At this time, any skills that can cause group damage come in handy, and you can gather them together to knock them all down.
- Magitek Cannon: The boss will deal damage in a circular area around random players, just avoid it.
It is important to note that Black Eft will repeat these attacks. So be careful at all times to avoid taking a lot of damage. After you defeat Black Eft, you can go to east through Disposal Chute and continue your exploration.
Magitek Vanguard F-1
The second boss to appear in Castrum Meridianum dungeon is Magitek Vanguard F-1. It has no other helpers, so you only need to focus on the following attacks it uses.
- Thermobaric Strike: The boss will first mark a corner of the arena with an AOE. The closer you are to the mark, the more damage you will take. So before it shoots the mark, try to predict the general direction and leap to the other end.
- Hypercharge: It will create a circular and ring-shaped area of damage to itself. You will see a small ring of safety between the two areas, so you need to keep moving to avoid those areas of damage.
- Cermet Drill: The boss will deal high damage to Tanks in the group. Even if the tank has strong health, try to reduce the cooldown of defensive skills to reduce the damage caused by this move.
- Overcharge: It will damage a wide cone in front of itself, and will cause Paralysis to you if you are in it, and can periodically disable you. You can only move out of the damage range to avoid further damage.
- Targeted Support: You will see a circular damage range running towards you, so you only need to move out of the telegraph to avoid damage.
You will see that Magitek Vanguard F-1 here deals mostly area damage, so please spend some FFXIV Gil before challenging it to make your build more flexible so that you can quickly avoid most damage.
Livia Sas Junius
The final boss you’ll face in Castrum Meridianum is Livia Sas Junius, and it has more attacks than the first two, so be prepared. Here are all the attacks it can throw at you.
- Artificial Plasma: First, it will deal unavoidable damage to all members of your party. Healers should use area heals to recover quickly.
- Roundhouse: Livia will deal damage to a large area around her, and Discharge will work in tandem.
- Discharge: Multiple circular areas of damage will appear around the arena. So when these attacks are in effect, you need to move quickly to a safe area to avoid all the damage areas.
- Aglaea Climb: Livia will also deal high damage to the tanks in your team with this move. The tank’s own defensive skill cooldown reduction may not be very effective at this time, so healers may need to help.
- Infinite Reach: The boss will dash through the center of the arena several times in a row, damaging your party in a straight line. At the same time, there will be a continuous barrage of Discharge AOEs. You may need to watch the order in which they appear to avoid them.
- Angry Salamander: After the last move, Livia will stand in the center of the arena and shoot several straight lines outward to deal area damage. You can only continue to move to a safe area to avoid the damage.
- Thermobaric Strike: Livia will create two Proximity AOEs on opposite sides of the arena. Again, the closer you are to them, the more damage you will take. You also need to pay attention to the appearance of Stunning Sweep at this time.
- Stunning Sweep: The boss will cause damage to the surrounding area, and you will also suffer Paralysis effect if you are in this area. At the same time, several Discharge AOEs will explode. To avoid all three attacks, you first need to stand near one of the two Proximity AOEs until Stunning Sweep and Discharge stop. Then quickly move to the other two unmarked corners.
Note that when Livia uses Thermobaric Strike for the second time, you will also see that this will be combined with Angry Salamander and create four Discharge AOEs. You may need to move to the center of the arena quickly and strengthen your defenses so that you can withstand the damage caused by Thermobaric Strike. After you defeat it, you can enter the final The Ultimate Weapon quest.
These are the three bosses you will encounter when exploring Castrum Meridianum in FFXIV, as well as their attack moves and countermeasures. I hope this guide can make your exploration of this dungeon smoother and easier, and get more high-value loot from it to face the final challenge. I wish you a happy game!

FFXIV Nidhogg: How To Fight The Final Boss In Final Steps Of Faith Trial?
In Final Fantasy 14, each level you reach will lead you to a trial, where you’ll learn more about the game’s story and find more loot for later exploration. When you reach level 60, you’ll face a trial called Final Steps of Faith, which marks the climax of the Post-Heavensward Main Scenario Quests and the end of Dragonsong War. In this trial, you’ll need to win the favor of Hraesvelgr in Sohr Khai, and then fight a final boss, Nidhogg. It uses the body of an Azure Dragoon as its carrier, and you’ll meet it in Steps of Faith.
Since your encounter with Nidhogg is a rare 4-phase battle, this guide will show you what combat mechanics and moves Nidhogg will use in each phases so that you can react in time and successfully defeat it.
How To Meet Nidhogg?
As mentioned earlier, Nidhogg will appear in Final Steps of Faith, a trial that you unlock by completing An End to the Song quest in the post-Heavensward MSQ. In addition, your item level must be 205 or above to participate in this trial.
How To Defeat Nidhogg?
When you reach Steps of Faith in Final Steps of Faith trial, you will encounter Nidhogg. However, it should be noted that there is an effective range between you and its arena, so try not to step into it before you are fully prepared.
In addition, before challenging Nidhogg, interact with the nearest checkpoint near the arena. On the one hand, you can spend some FFXIV Gil here to improve the defense and damage capabilities of the build; on the other hand, once you die in the battle, you will not be reborn at a checkpoint far away.
After you have made all the preparations, let’s take a look at what mechanisms Nidhogg will use in each of the four phases of the battle and how you should deal with them.
Phase 1
First of all, in the first phase, Nidhogg will mainly attack you with AOE, and there are different types. For example, Deafening Bellow will cause inevitable range damage to all players in the entire arena. At this time, you can only rely on range healing to restore your health to a healthy level.
When lines appear below you or your allies in the battle, they will quickly open into circular eyes and cause circular range damage to you, so Nidhogg has launched Horrid Roar at you. At this time, you can predict the range of damage by those lines and avoid it on time.
Besides this deforming line, Nidhogg will also cast Hot Wing, which will use two large lines fired from both sides of the boss to cause linear range damage. What you should do is stay in the safe area in the center to avoid these damages, and find ways to cast more damaging skills.
As for The Scarlet Whisper cast by Nidhogg, it will cause untelegraphed damage to a cone-shaped area in front of the boss, which is fatal to most Jobs, so during this trick, the tank as the vanguard should keep other team members away from Nidhogg.
After you reduce its health to a certain value, Nidhogg cannot aim and fly away, and cause Horrid Roar AOE damage to multiple players in the air. Generally, it will hit the center of the arena to prepare a straight line range and deal continuous damage. Here, you can only dodge Horrid Roar again and again, and then move to the other side to avoid Cauterize.
After a while, Nidhogg will land with Touchdown and cause damage in the area, and then the entire battle will return to normal. Until its health is 70% remaining, Nidhogg cannot aim again and summon three enemies, which means that your battle has entered the second phase.
Phase 2
This is an additional phase where you will fight Shadow Brobinyak, Shadow Dragon, and Shadow Falak summoned by Nidhogg. The strategy here is to deal with Shadow Dragon first, as it cannot be controlled by tanks.
So the two tanks in the team can deal with one of the other two monsters, so that the three of them can be separated from targeted attacks. Shadow Dragon will launch a sweep attack to cause Damage Down, so you should try to ensure flexibility in your build when fighting it.
Both Shadow Brobinyak and Shadow Falak have breath attacks that can cause unpredictable area damage in front, so try not to stand in front of them to avoid being attacked.
Once all three monsters are defeated, Nidhogg will use Final Chorus to deal inevitable damage to all players and enter the third phase of the battle.
Phase 3
Here, Nidhogg will transform into Estinien Varlineau and use a new set of attacks. First up is Ala Morn, which deals with heavy damage to the main tank player. If you’re playing this type of character, you can use defensive cooldowns to reduce the damage of this attack on you.
And of course, there’s Geirskogul, Nidhogg’s (Estinien) favorite area-of-effect attack, which deals damage in a straight line. This attack is very predictable and easy to avoid, just move out of the range indicator.
During this phase, the boss will have AOE Markers, and will use High Jump to target several players, creating a puddle because deals with continuous damage. Because of this move, you and your allies should spread out as much as possible to avoid stacking damage.
In addition to the long-range area-of-effect damage from the previous phase, Nidhogg will also use Super Jump to deal close-range area-of-effect damage in the third phase - the closer you are to this area, the more damage you will take. So the best solution is to run to the other side of the arena as soon as possible to avoid damage.
During Super Jump, Nidhogg will also use the straight-line AOE damage caused by Geirskogul to target multiple players. So in addition to moving to avoid close-range area damage, you also need to stay away from these linear area damage.
Generally, Nidhogg will repeat these attacks until its health is only 30%. At this time, it will jump away and slam the arena with Bloodrage, which will also cause inevitable damage to the entire team. Then it will enter the fourth and final phase.
Phase 4
At the start of this phase, Nidhogg will cast Horrid Roar and Cauterize simultaneously. You’ll need to avoid the circular damage area and get out of Cauterize’s area of effect, then prepare for the final battle.
Here, Nidhogg will repeat all the attacks from Phase 1, and add a few new ones. For example, Akh Morn will target a player with a stacking marker and deal damage to the area over time. During this move, healers and other Jobs in the team should gather around the affected player to keep him safe.
There’s also Flame Blast, which is another skill that deals with linear damage. Nidhogg will create several flaming balls that will explode in a cross-shaped line after a few seconds. So obviously, you should stand diagonally opposite each ball to avoid these.
After Nidhogg casts Hot Wing, it will immediately follow up with a Hot Tail, dealing damage to a linear area in the center of the arena, which you’ll find is the safe area for Hot Wing. So you may need to move to either side between these two attacks to avoid the subsequent damage.
That’s all you need to know about challenging Nidhogg in FFXIV. Hopefully, with the help of this guide, you can easily complete this final boss encounter in one go, and learn more about the story behind the main quest. Have fun!

FFXIV Cenote Ja Ja Gural: What Challenges Will You Encounter In It? - Location & Strategy
When you explore Final Fantasy 14, it is very fun to open Treasure Maps with your friends and find hidden loot and quests in them. But if your team is lucky enough, you may find a very magical portal in Treasure Maps that can teleport you to a dungeon full of strange monsters, traps, and a lot of wealth.
For example, when you are swimming in Level 100 Maps, you may land through the portal in the amazing Cenote Ja Ja Gural, which is also the first Treasure Dungeons in Dawntrail. It will bring you some special rewards, which can make your subsequent exploration process smoother and easier.
But it is necessary to remind you in advance that the challenge of this level 100 dungeon is very difficult, so it is also necessary to understand the entry method and completion guide of Cenote Ja Ja Gural in this guide before exploring. Without further ado, let’s start our exploration journey!
Location Of Cenote Ja Ja Gural
As mentioned above, Cenote Ja Ja Gural is a special dungeon, so it has its own way of entering. You cannot enter it through Duty Finder or regular duties. You can only enter by defeating the monsters guarding the treasure chests in Treasure Maps.
In addition, this is a Level 100 Treasure Dungeon, so it will only appear in Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps designed for players with a character level of 100. Please note that these maps require you to explore in a group, because it is difficult for a single person to kill the monsters near the treasure chests.
Maps that can be explored by one person, such as Loboskin Treasure Maps, cannot generate portals, so you cannot explore this dungeon. If your game friends or members of Free Company cannot explore with you, you can join or create a Party Finder group to complete the exploration of this dungeon with those equally active players. After running, you can decide where the rewards go, whether it is Free For All or the owner of the map takes it all.
Although the developer recommended that your team should consist of 8 level 100 players to complete all the explorations when creating this Cenote Ja Ja Gural. However, after many players’ actual testing, you only need to use a regular Light party, which requires at least one Healer and one Tank, but the premise is that each player’s item level is 710 or above.
After defeating the monster and the portal appears, your team needs to roll the dice to decide whether to continue to search for the remaining loot. After that, the owner of the map can touch the portal and teleport all players to this hidden dungeon.
Steps To Complete Cenote Ja Ja Gural
Step 1: Select
In fact, Cenote Ja Ja Gural is a door-type Treasure Dungeon. After you and your allies enter the room and defeat the monster, the owner of the map can open a treasure chest and get some FFXIV Gil and loot from it. After splitting the rewards, you and your teammates will face the problem of choosing between two doors.
One door is the wrong option, and once opened, you will be kicked out of the dungeon immediately; the other door will teleport you to the next room. Similarly, you will face such a choice after each room you clear, and there will be about 4 doors waiting for your choice.
Although you can only rely on your intuition to choose the door you want to open, this dungeon advantage will prompt you to the location of the correct door by illuminating the path to the correct door. You can observe it carefully. It is worth reminding you that you must not use it as the main method, because the possibility of their appearance is very small.
The deeper you explore, the more rewards you can get from the treasure chest. When you reach the last room together, you will find that there is no door for you to choose, but the boss guards the last treasure chest.
Step 2: Fight
Just said, you need to defeat the monster guarding the treasure chest in each room of Cenote Ja Ja Gural to get the rewards offered to you. In some cases, however, more enemies may appear after you clear them, which can bring you additional rewards, including extra FFXIV Gil and consumables.
Step 3: Gamble
Sometimes, when you open a treasure chest as the map owner, you may be offered a gambling game: you can choose a card with a number on it, and then you need to guess whether the number on the next card is higher or lower than the number you chose. If you guess correctly, your total reward for the room will be increased (in most cases, it will be doubled); but if you guess wrong, you will lose all the treasure.
The numbers available here are from 1 to 9, so the highest and lowest numbers will be your best choices. Try not to choose 5, as this will only give you a 50% chance of guessing correctly. This gambling game can happen in every room, including the last room with the boss.
If the number on the next card is the same as the number you chose, the system will choose a random number for you again, and you can continue to guess the number higher or lower. Although this gambling game will double your rewards in Cenote Ja Ja Gural, you still need to be careful to make sure that your choices are correct, otherwise you will lose everything.
Cenote Ja Ja Gural Rewards
As just mentioned, you and your teammates will get a lot of Gil in each room, and the more people there are, the more Gil you will get. Even in the last room where you fight the boss, each player will get up to 100,000 Gil.
However, I believe that you explore this interesting dungeon not only for the above currency but also for the various very rare drops, which are very valuable whether they are placed in your build or traded on Market Boards in the game. Here is the specific list of rewards:
- Figmental Weapon Coffer
- Mamonite (Crafting Material)
- Corduroy Felt (Crafting Material)
- Twilight Gemstone (Mount exchange item)
- Ja Ja Gural Tree (Furniture)
- Pile of Gold (Furniture)
- Honeysuckle (Minion)
- The Lawnblazer (Minion)
- Ribboned Parasol (Fashion Accessory)
- Modern Aesthetics - Doing the Wave (Hairstyle)
- Slim Frame Glasses (Facewear)
- Cat Eye Glasses (Facewear)
- Pathmaker Orchestrion Roll
- Cast Stones in Shadow Orchestrion Roll
The above are the exploration steps and rewards for Cenote Ja Ja Gural in FFXIV. I hope that with the help of this guide, you can smoothly and easily explore this dungeon with rich rewards and feel a different gaming experience in it. I wish you a happy game!

FFXIV Wuk Lamat: She Has Too Many Lines
It’s still a while before FF14 patch 7.2, and this period is a bit sluggish for FF14, and the number of players online is not as high as before. There are many reasons for this, partly because the recent game content has not aroused the interest of players, and partly because the servers of Final Fantasy 14 have not been stable.
Throughout 2024, the servers of Final Fantasy 14 have been under DDS attacks. Worse, on January 5, there was a major server failure that prevented many players from logging in.
Recently, some players have pointed the finger at Wuk Lamat, an NPC in Final Fantasy 14, who has too many lines, so many that they are annoying.
Wuk Lamat
Wuk Lamat first appeared in Endwalker and also played an important role in Dawntrail. Uh, very important.
Wuk Lamat is the daughter of Hunmu Rruk, the chief of the small village of Xbr’aal, and was raised by Dawnservant since childhood. Then Wuk Lamat asks for Warrior of Light’s assistance, and she needs to hold the succession ceremony in Tural.
In the game, she can appear in the dungeon as a teammate to help players earn FFXIV Gil together. She can act as a tank and also cause decent damage, making her a good helper. Players can also talk to her in the dungeon.
Wuk Lamat’s personality is carefree, brave and fearless, always happy, and loves to wander. At the same time, she is ashamed to show her weakness in front of others, and is uneasy about the upcoming battle for the throne.
Wuk Lamat’s Lines
Wuk Lamat gradually began to be annoyed by players because she had too many lines, and throughout Patch 7.1, Warriors of Light could feel that Wuk Lamat was almost everywhere.
Wuk Lamat had too much appearance time, which made other characters look a little pale. Throughout Patch 7.1, players seemed to be revolving around this girl, even if she was not there sometimes.
Some players counted the number of Wuk Lamat’s lines and found that she had 2,600 lines. Erenville, the second character with the most lines, only has 1,000 lines. What’s worse is that Erenville is almost inseparable from Wuk Lamat, because he mentions Wuk Lamat 41 times in total.
Krile, a NPC with the third most lines, mentions Wuk Lamat 48 times. So even if Wuk Lamat is not around the player sometimes, the player still can’t get rid of her shadow.
The synonyms of Wuk Lamat, “Lamaty’i” and “Third Promise”, are mentioned more than 460 times in the entire script, which means that in the entire cutscene, the player will hear Wuk Lamat once every 2.7 minutes on average.
In terms of pure words, Wuk Lamat alone contributed more than 35,000 words to the entire script, accounting for about 1/4 of all the lines in the entire Dawntrail. A short novel is about 50,000 words. Wuk Lamat alone can support a novel, which is also a lot of work for the voice actor.
Don’t Like Wuk Lamat
Wuk Lamat is actually a good character. At least when she appeared at the beginning, she was still loved by many players. However, when players found that almost the entire Dawntrail was full of Wuk Lamat, they began to get tired of her.
The existence of Wuk Lamat caused Dawntrail to not shape other characters enough. Erenville and Krile, the natives of New World, also appeared in some side quests, but compared to Wuk Lamat, their role was more like a tool.
Of course, when players earn materials and Gil in the dungeon, Dawntrail’s MSQ always requires you to talk to Wuk Lamat, and some of what you do in the dungeon seems to revolve around Wuk Lamat.
Outside the game, players are also dissatisfied with the choice of voice actors. Because Wuk Lamat’s accent is a South American accent, but Wuk Lamat’s voice actor is not a South American, so the voice actor tried to imitate such an accent, but it seemed a bit lame. Players complained why not choose a real South American to do the dubbing.
Some extreme players even hope to delete the character Wuk Lamat, or give them a button to skip Dawntrail. All of this reflects the dilemma that Final Fantasy 14 is facing in its current plot.
Now that patch 7.1 has been released for several months, Dawntrail is far from being truly exciting, and players have already felt tired of the story. This is a bad sign for Final Fantasy 14. Because the story is exactly why FF14 can attract players. Perhaps the developers need to make some adjustments to the current content, cut some of Wuk Lamat’s lines, and create some quests about other NPCs to enrich the character image. Or hold some activities and give away some Final Fantasy 14 items to attract players back.

FFXIV: How To Unlock First Chaotic Raid To Get Great Rewards? - Cloud Of Darkness (Chaotic) Raid
One of the core appeals of Final Fantasy XIV is its endgame content, not only because the game has an interesting story and narrative, but also because it provides a diverse and highly engaging endgame experience.
Throughout the development of Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix has continuously improved and expanded the endgame content, striving to make the content rich and engaging enough with each version. Take Heavensward, for example. It not only brought new plots and areas to the game, but also laid the foundation for future content development.
In particular, the introduction of Diadem in Heavensward marked the first major addition to FFXIV outside of standard raids and post-launch stories. Although Diadem’s debut failed to fully ignite players’ enthusiasm, many people felt that it was somewhat boring and repetitive, its introduction was undoubtedly an attempt to lay the foundation for Eureka and Bozjan Southern Front.
This trend has continued in FFXIV’s expansions and updates, and Square Enix has continued to introduce more and more challenging content as the game progresses. Now the game has launched its first Chaotic Raid. This guide will take you through the details of what it is all about.
Chaotic Alliance Raid Overview
Chaotic Alliance Raid is a recent addition to FFXIV that a standard Alliance Raid inspires and introduces new environments and mechanics. The raid supports up to 24 players, and can be adjusted to a minimum of 8 players. Gathering players and playing synchronously can cause considerable chaos.
Chaotic Alliance Raids are significantly more difficult than usual raids, and players must not only rely on their own skills but also work closely with their teammates to ensure that everyone can play their best. For some players, this high level of teamwork can be stressful, especially when they encounter teammates who are not performing well in the game.
Despite the challenges, some players have successfully overcome these difficulties. Based on initial feedback, Chaotic Alliance Raid is close to an Extreme. This level of difficulty makes it a good choice for mid-core players, who can obtain a full set of 730 gear without having to complete the highest difficulty raid.
Players will be rewarded with Demimateria when they complete the Chaotic Alliance Raid. The amount of rewards issued will be adjusted based on the number of players (including yourself) who have successfully cleared the content.
This reward mechanism not only increases the player’s sense of achievement but also provides players with the opportunity to exchange practical items, such as equipment, rare mounts, and unique hairstyles. In the future, as the content continues to iterate and expand, we can expect Chaotic Alliance Raid to provide more challenges and reward options.
How To Unlock Cloud Of Darkness (Chaotic) Raid?
In the end-game content of “Final Fantasy XIV”, players need to interact with the game’s director and producer, Yoshi-P himself. Yoshi-P has been integrated into the game world as Wandering Minstrel and has become a familiar part of the players. Players can find him at Tuliyollal Docks, standing next to the stairs leading to the city, at coordinates (X: 11.1 Y: 14.7). Talking to him is a key step to enter Chaotic Alliance Raid content.
Rewards
To participate in Cloud of Darkness Chaotic raid, players must complete the main storyline of Dawntrail 7.0 and obtain certain equipment through crafting with Tomestones obtained weekly or using FFXIV Gil. Reaching at least ilevel 710 is the minimum requirement to enter the raid. However, most raid teams usually expect players to sync up to ilevel 735.
Upon successfully completing Cloud of Darkness Chaotic raid, you will claim the following rewards:
- Shroud of Darkness Mount (99 Clouddark Demimateria I)
- Dias of Darkness Mount (75 Clouddark Demimateria II)
- Modern Aesthetics - A Half Times Two Hairstyle (49 Clouddark Demimateria II)
- Armor Pieces (ilevel 730) (2-3 Clouddark Demimateria I)
Cloud Of Darkness (Chaotic) Raid Has Been Beaten
Final Fantasy XIV players have once again proven their resolve and ability to take on a challenge. Even when they had to team up with 23 other players, they didn’t back down. Many players completed the raid within hours of its release.
Feedback on social media so far indicates that the raid is very challenging. Still, for players with enough time to spare, this high-difficulty raid provides enough entertainment and challenge for the holiday season and is worth a try.
At present, although this raid has sparked heated discussions among many players, we still need to wait for more player feedback to see if other teams can successfully overcome this difficulty.
According to the announcement in September, if this type of content is popular with players, more similar 24-player raids will be added to the game in the future. Since its launch, the game has won the love of players around the world for its rich and diverse character customization options. Among the many customizable elements, A Half Times Two is highly sought after for its unique and decorative design, although obtaining it can be challenging.
FFXIV also attaches great importance to the importance of players’ personalized expression, which continues in the upcoming new expansion Dawntrail. In the game, how you shape your character image not only reflects your personal style preferences but also is a way to show your self-identity, and the most intuitive expression of which is to show you through portraits.
Portraits provide players with a new way to show the personalized characteristics of their characters besides equipment and weapons. Each time you enter an instance, the portrait will automatically pop up, providing players with a unique form of display. Pelupelu Framer’s Kit is the latest kit introduced in Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.1. Players can use it to decorate their portraits and adventure plates.
Next, this guide will show you how to get A Half Times Two Hairstyle and Pelupelu Framer’s Kit.
How To Get A Half Times Two Hairstyle?
Characters’ hairstyles can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as Gold Saucer, Island Sanctuary, Ishgard’s Firmament, or by participating in various combat content, including Variant Dungeons, Field Operations, Alliance Raids, etc. However, the particularly popular A Half Times Two hairstyle needs to be unlocked through a newer combat content, which may be challenging for some Warriors of Light.
Players need to participate in and complete Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) Alliance Raid multiple times. This content is the first of its kind in FFXIV, and it brings unique challenges to players. 24 players will fight against Cloud of Darkness together.
And players participating in the confrontation must also meet three conditions. First, the combat level is 100 and the item level is 710 or higher. Second, “Dawntrail” Main Scenario Quest needs to be completed. Finally, you will need to speak with Wandering Minstrel in Tuliyollal (X: 11.1, Y: 14.7) to unlock the duty of Raid Finder.
After completing Cloud of Darkness Chaotic, players will obtain Clouddark Demimateria I or Clouddark Demimateria II totems. Players will need to collect 49 x Clouddark Demimateria II totems and travel to Nexus Arcade (X: 8.7, Y: 13.5) to interact with vendor Uah’shepya to redeem A Half Times Two hairstyle.
While this hairstyle is very attractive, obtaining the required number of totems requires players to complete this challenging battle multiple times, which is a long battle for many adventurers. However, this guide will introduce you to several ways to help you accumulate these valuable totems more efficiently.
In the instance of Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic), if there are new players in the party, the reward for completing the mission will increase proportionally to the number of these new players. Additionally, during certain times of the day, the game will trigger limited-time bonus events that increase the item drop rate.
If you don’t want to participate in this battle content repeatedly, but have enough FFXIV Gil to spend, you can also choose to obtain ‘A Half Times Two’ hairstyle directly through Market Board. If the market supply exceeds the demand, you may even get this highly sought-after look at a relatively low price.
For a Viera or Hrothgar, there may be restrictions on certain hairstyles but A Half Times Two hairstyle is particularly suitable for male and female characters of these two races.
