Source: IGGMThis is by far the coolest looking, coolest moving and still boss melting build I have played. And this build is called the Ice Raptor.
The Gear
Let’s start with the gear and the gear setup.
Our first weapon of choice is the Keen Raptor Talons +25 and, thanks to patch 1.09, Claws have been buffed. Then, to help us with our buff, we have a Finger Seal +25 and any staff (such as Demi-Human Queen’s Staff +25) that can be used at 15 Intelligence. Gear wise to really get our boosts going.
We have the White Mask boosting attack when Bleed is in effect, the Raptor’s Black Feathers increasing our jump attacks. Then, we have two pieces of the Royal Remains set (Royal Remains Greaves & Royal Remains Gauntlets) for some auto danger healing at 18 Health and below. Or, if you want to poise defense against light enemy attacks, you can pop in the Bull-Goat’s Gauntlets and Greaves.
In the Talisman slots, we have three Talismans that I don’t tend to change out much and then in the fourth slot, we have some options for the given situation.
First, we have the Lord of Blood’s Exultation working with the White Mask to increase the attack power when Bleed kicks in. Then, we have Millicent’s Prosthesis, which is giving us +5 Dexterity and boosting our attack with successive hits. The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia also boosting our attack with successive hits and then, depending on how you’re playing, you can switch up the fourth Talisman as follows:
The Green Turtle Talisman to boost stamina recovery speed, the Godskin Swaddling Cloth soft to restore Health on successive hits, or the Claw Talisman to add further boost to jump attacks. In the Flask of Wondrous Physic, we have the Thorny Cracked Tear, which is boosting attack with successive hits alongside our two Talismans and the Greenburst Crystal Tear, boosting our stamina recovery.
As for spells, we have Frozen Armament, Fire’s Deadly Sin and Golden Vow.
Stat Spread
Next, let’s have a look at the stats then. Since stats define the strengths and weaknesses of your character, so you should prepare enough Elden Ring Runes to improve your character. Then, you will get unexpected results.
I started with the Wretch glass and I’ve capped the rune level to 150. We have Vigor at 55. We have Mind at 15 and this allows us to use our buffs in one FP bar. Endurance is at 24. We don’t touch Strength. Dexterity is at 75. We use Millicent’s Prosthesis to make this 80. Intelligence is at 15. Faith is at 25 and we also don’t touch Arcane.

Combat Variations
Let’s talk about combat.
The main trick to this build is of course procking Frost and Bleed. When an enemy is frostbitten, their defense is reduced by 20% and with bead procking and attack power being boosted by Bleed and successive hits, we can really break enemies’ Health bars and melt them down.
Now, as you know, Fire actually resets the Frost status. But it seems that the enemy’s reduced defense doesn’t reset. This is great. So, by casting Fire’s Deadly Sin, we can actually inflict Frostbite, remove the timed element of the effect and immediately start building it up again.
Thanks to the fire aura removing the Frost. This means we can keep applying Frostbite as quickly as possible. It will take more hits to inflict status effects after the first time you’ve done it. But honestly, enemies are dying so quickly. I’m not even noticing. This is so harsh.
So, before any fight, we buff with our three spells and then we two hand the Keen Raptor’s Talons, which, as you know, spits them into both hands. So, this is not power stancing, but it feels like it. Only we’re using the right triggers instead of the left.
We successively hit fast with R1 spams, and the charged up heavy R2 is a unique attack with a follow-up. It’s really cool, and it feels like a watered-down Bloodhound’s Finesse. Jump attacks are being powered up and they feel so satisfying with Claws. So, get the Claw Talisman in to further boost if you want to use them a lot.
Now the Ash of War: Raptor of The Mists is just so cool and not just cool, but really awesome to counter enemy attacks and inflict great damage. Hit the Ash of War as you would like using a shield against an enemy attack and you will warp into the air. Then, just decide on whether you want to attack from your airborne position with a light or heavy attack.
If the enemy is fast and following up, go with the light attack so you can recover quickly. If you want to inflict optimum damage, go with the heavy attack. Fire’s Deadly Sin will chip away at your Health, so if you are worried you can swap in the Godskin Swaddling Cloth to heal you for successive hits.
I have also noticed that enemy’s Health bars go down super quick, but stamina is sometimes stopping me from getting the final hit to finish them in a nice flow. So, you may want to try the Viridian Amber Medallion +2 in your first playthrough. Then, in New Game Plus where bosses have more Health, try the Green Turtle Talisman to recover your stamina.
