Source: IGGMI’m going to show you how to use Twinblade Talisman properly. Many people don’t know how to use this Talisman or how this Talisman works. Here I want to show you how to get the most out of it, and why you might want to use it in your builds.
What Is A Twinblade Talisman?
So let’s take a look at the description of this Talisman first. It’s a Talisman depicting Twinblade, which helps Confessor enhance the final blow of a barrage of attacks. It doesn’t really detail what that means. So it’s pretty obvious why some people might be confused.
This is actually the final blow of R1 or L1 attack chain, no matter which weapon you are using, it is just further elaborated here. If you dual wield Type 2 weapons of the same weapon and press L1, you’ll have a flurry of attacks. Usually there are three to five attacks, and then that chain stops. Afterwards, it repeats the same sequence of events again.
This Talisman increases the damage of the last hit of your L1 or R1 combos by 45%. It has actually increased this in patch 1.09, but it was 20% before. So it’s a gigantic leap.
But that’s a bit misleading, because it only applies to the last hit of your chain, and all your other attacks in that chain don’t add damage. If you don’t complete the chain, you’re not going to get that boost, which is really important.

The biggest negative of this Talisman is that when you fight normal enemies, they may die before you get the final blow. In this way, your Talisman will not be able to play its maximum role.
So it’s often when you’re fighting a boss or a difficult foe that you get the most buff from it. So if you want to use this Talisman, the best place to use it is in a boss fight, when facing enemies that are hard to kill or when there are a lot of enemies close together.
How To Trigger Twinblade Talisman?
It works for R1 attacks when you are one-handed or two-handed. It works for L1 attacks when you are wielding. But it doesn’t work with R2 attacks or charged R2 attack chains, and multi-hit Ashes of War like Double Slash.
Weapons That Work Best With Twinblade Talisman
Let’s talk about what weapon you’re likely to use when you wield it. If you’re talking about specific weapon sets, Great Spears, Colossal Weapons, and Colossal Swords combos all only have three strikes.
This means they may reach the final blow sooner than some weapon sets. And the final blow is often devastating, so these weapons pair really well with Twinblade Talisman.
Final Thoughts
Because you’ll usually kill regular enemies before it triggers. If you want to use it with a weapon that can complete combos quickly or relatively quickly to get the most out of it. This means you have to be very aggressive with this Talisman to get the most out of it. So you have to attack no matter what happens.
Because you’re sure to get hit on most of the combos you deal. So you’ll need to score high to take the hit. And you must have high protection and high health. This way you won’t die while using this Talisman.
Then you need to follow up with an R1, or do a jump attack with an L1. This can be a beneficial approach, especially during boss fights. In this case, it might be easier to do the run jump attack first than stand in L1 or R1.
And that concludes our Twinblade Talisman guide. I hope you guys find this useful. It’s not a Talisman that people will use all the time, but it works for some builds. So you might as well use Elden Ring Runes to get this Talisman to try it out. Maybe you can find an unexpected surprise.
