Source: IGGMWelcome back to my Elden Ring build guide. In this guide, I’ll show you my Zweihander build and easily stun enemies by infusing my weapon with Ash of War: Cragblade.
Zweihander is a Colossal Sword that mainly relies on Strength and Dexterity scaling. The weapon itself requires 19 Strength and 11 Dexterity to function properly. It weighs 15.5, making it the lightest weapon in Colossal Sword class. We can infuse it with Ash of War: Cragblade and upgraded with Smithing Stones.
What I like about this weapon is its ability to hit enemies from a distance while also dealing a ton of poise damage. Especially when combined with Ash of War: Cragblade, it can cause more poise damage and easily stun enemies.
If you’re looking for a strength build with great poise damage, then this is a guide you can’t miss. This guide will cover everything you need to know about this Zweihander Cragblade Stagger build. Without further ado, let’s get started.
Zweihander
First, you can purchase Zweihander for 3,500 Elden Ring Runes from Isolated Merchants located on the far west side of this Weeping Peninsula. But don’t worry, you can also use the code “CSCCA” to get 5% off.
Ash Of War: Cragblade
I like to infuse this weapon with Ash of War: Cragblade and choose Heavy as the primary Weapon Affinity. After using this skill, you will cover your weapon with rocks, increasing physical damage by 15% and stance damage by 10% for 60 seconds. So it can increase your weapon poise damage and stun enemies easily. You can get this Ash of War by killing Scarab near Caelid Sword Monuments.
Buff & Protection
For buff and protection, Golden Vow and Black Flame’s Protection are your best bet. Golden Vow increases your damage output by 15% and increases all damage negated by 10% for 80 seconds. And Black Flame’s Protection will increase your physical damage negation by 35%.
Seal
For Seal, the most basic Finger Seal is enough. Because different levels of seal have almost the same impact on your damage effects. Finger Seal is the starting equipment for Confessor and Prophet classes. Of course, you also have the option of purchasing it from Roundtable Hold.
Talismans
Also, you can increase your attack power by using some Talismans. Paired with Bull-Goat’s Talisman, it can increase your pose damage by 33%. Next, use Dagger Talisman, which increases your critical damage by 17%.
Combining with Dragoncrest Greatshield can reduce physical damage taken by 20%. Last but not least, with Green Turtle Talisman, you can increase your stamina regeneration rate by 8 per second.
Crystal Tears
You can also use a combination of two Crystal Tears to boost your status temporarily. The first is Opaline Hardtear, which temporarily increases the offset of all damage you take by 15% for 3 minutes. The other is Greenburst Crystal Tear, which increases your physical recovery speed by 15 points per second for 3 minutes.
Armor
For armor, Crucible Axe Set is your best choice. It provides excellent protection for your character and boosts your pose damage.
Stats
At this point, the gear basically meets the basic requirements for a Zweihander Cragblade Stagger build and Black Flame’s Protection. For the stat, I put most of my attributes on Strength to increase my attack power. All specific stats are:
- Vigor 40
- Mind 20
- Endurance 36
- Strength 72
- Dexterity 11
- Intelligence 10
- Faith 20
- Arcane 10
Showcase
The way this build works is that first you consume Crystal Tears, casting Golden Vow and Black Flame’s Protection to enhance your character. Afterwards, you can imbue your weapon with Ash of War: Cragblade and hit enemies to stagger them. Finally defeated each one.
