Source: IGGMRecently, an Elden Ring player fell to the Beast Clergyman in Crumbling Farum Azula while fighting it, and the player looked hilarious. What's even more interesting is that the player had already completed the first phase of Beast Clergyman at the time. However, it didn't take long before he died in an unexpected way. In Elden Ring, the fight with the Beast Clergyman is actually one of the most difficult boss encounters in the game.
As one of the late game areas, Crumbling Farum Azula is unlocked after using the Forge of the Giants to burn the Erdtree and commit a great crime. You must know this area, and this area has a very bad reputation due to its own platforms and dragons everywhere to fight. You're probably already familiar with the main bosses in this area. However, you may not have discovered all of its secrets, such as the hidden boss battle against Dragonlord Placidusax. In fact, the area of Crumbling Farum Azula itself is out of time and space. So, you'll meet the Beast Clergyman here, and you'll meet the Beast Clergyman in Caelid, both at the same time.
User DaddyPingu2874 previously posted a video on Reddit. In the video, Elden Ring players show you their unexpected and hilarious deaths during their battle with the Beast Clergyman. The offensive weapon used by this player is the Bloodhound Fang. This weapon is a curved sword, and it has a very special weapon art. When using it, the player can flip backwards and swing the sword at the same time, and then sprint forward to make a second attack on the boss. This kind of attack can not only cause a lot of poise damage to the boss, but also can easily defeat the boss after hitting the boss many times. In order to avoid the attack of the boss, the player chooses to dance around the arena. Wait until they have dealt enough poise damage to the boss before delivering the final critical hit to the boss. After they hit the Beast Clergyman, the cutscene to its second phase will start playing. Surprisingly, DaddyPingu2874 immediately fell to the ground dead.
When the critical hit animation started playing, it teleported the player to the front of the enemy and started to attack. Due to the short distance between the Beast Clergyman and the edge of the platform, this caused the player to float away from the arena and remain in mid-air until the critical hit animation was fully completed. It is because of this that they fell to their deaths at the very beginning of the second phase.
However, the player didn't feel sad about it. Instead, they are very optimistic to share their different experiences with you on Reddit, and the title is "You will definitely love these moments." For you who like to play Elden Ring, in the game with unexpected ways to die are nothing new. The fact that your characters can die in various ways in Lands Between is something you'll cherish. On Reddit, we see videos like this all the time, that is, players' characters dying in various ridiculous ways in Elden Ring. These videos, for you, are also a shareable moment of enjoyment.
Elden Ring is a game that offers you not only gameplay, but also a lot of fun. If you can enjoy the wonky Elden Ring animation while you're playing, and laugh out loud when you're defeated, then you will not feel so painful in the process of playing the game, and you will feel that this is a very valuable thing.
