Source: IGGMOn game journey of Elden Ring, you may encounter various enemies. Some players like to fight in close range, while others prefer to stand at a distance and attack enemies by casting spells.
If you are more interested in magic, then you must want to know about these staff weapons. Today we will learn about the location and effects of some staff weapons.
1. Staff Of Loss
- Scaling is Str E, Dex E, and Int C.
- Attribute requirements are Str 6, Dex 12, and Int 14.
- Passive effect can boost Invisibility sorcery.
This staff weapon is located in Sellia Town of Sorcery. We can get it from corpse on the top floor of the building. We can reach vicinity of the building by traversing the large branches of golden sapling.
Why is Staff of Loss considered one of the best staff weapons? It can enhance spells, namely Night Shard and Night Comet. The latter is a spell that reduces the casting time and can be charged up to increase its potential damage.
Not only is Night Comet spell reusable, it also has a trait of invisibility, making it almost impossible for enemies to avoid damage.
2. Lusat’s Glintstone Staff
- Scaling is Str D and Int B.
- Attribute requirements are Str 10 and Int 52.
- Passive effect is N/A.
Also located in Sellia Town of Sorcery, but the method of obtaining it is different. We have to light the three braziers on the roof to remove barrier, and then defeat two bosses, Nox Priest and Nox Swordstress, and then we can open chest in the room. In addition to getting this weapon, we can also get some unexpected Elden Ring Items.
Lusat’s Glintstone Staff has a very subtle passive effect that increases cost of FP by 50%, which sounds a bit ridiculous. With Int S and 413 sorcery scaling, it can go up to level 10, and if you use Cerulean Hidden Tear on Flask of Wondrous Physick, it can temporarily not reduce FP cost, making it even more powerful.
3. Azur’s Glintstone Staff
- Scaling is Str D and Int B.
- Attribute requirements are Str 10 and Int 52.
- Passive effect is similar to Lusat’s Glintstone Staff.
Azur’s Glintstone Staff also increases cost of FP, but only by 20%. While it doesn’t scale as well as Lusat’s Glintstone Staff, it does have a faster cast time. So it’s perfect for magical abilities and projectiles that you use a lot.
4. Staff Of The Guilty
- Scaling is Str D and Fai C.
- Attribute requirements are Str 8 and Fai 12.
- Passive effect can boost Thorn sorcery and cause blood loss buildup.
Located in a mountain called Fort Laiedd, it is a random drop from magician enemies with thorn-type spells. Blood loss buildup is considered one of effective status afflictions, so this staff weapon ranks very high in Elden Ring. If you plan to use bleed build of Impenetrable Thorns, this weapon is definitely your first choice.
5. Carian Regal Scepter
- Scaling is Str E, Dex E, and Int B.
- Attribute requirements are Str 8, Dex 10, and Int 60.
- Passive effect can boost Full Moon sorcery.
We need to go to Roundtable Hold, then defeat Rennala, and then exchange Remembrance of Full Moon Queen for this weapon. There are only three Full Moon spells in the entire game. They are Rennala’s Full Moon, Ranni’s Dark Moon, and Rellana’s Twin Moons. Its scaling is Int S and 373 sorcery scaling at level 10, which is suitable for a variety of spells. This weapon is not very useful, but it is very balanced.
6. Carian Glintblade Staff
- Scaling is Str E, Int C, and Dex E.
- Attribute requirements are Str 6, Int 22, and Dex 12.
- Passive effect can boost Glintblade sorceries.
Located on Highway Lookout Tower, this tower is very close to Liurnia Highway North Site of Grace. We have to get pass spectral mobs, then climb ladder and open treasure chest with weapons.
Magic Glintblade, Carian Phalanx, Glintblade Phalanx, etc. These spells are all Glintblade spells. Phalanx-type spells also have a special attribute, which is defense. It will track enemy and launch sword projectiles at the enemy, causing some damage to this enemy. This attribute will be more prominent in PVP. Therefore, Carian Glintblade Staff is also a good choice because it can bring a lot of gains.
7. Meteorite Staff
- Scaling is Str D and Int S.
- Attribute requirements are Str 6 and Int 18.
- Passive effect can boost Gravity sorcery.
Located in Aeonia Swamp, it can be found in an abandoned building near Aeonia Swamp Shore Site of Grace. Many people want to get Meteorite Staff because it increases Gravity sorcery. In addition, Collapsing Stars and Meteorite of Astel are also good.
8. Prince Of Death’s Staff
- Scaling is Str E, Int D, and Fai D.
- Attribute requirements are Str 6, Int 18, and Fai 18.
- Passive effect can boost Death sorceries.
We walked along big tree branch of Nameless Eternal City. We looked back and saw a tower on the left. This staff weapon was inside. Five people thought this was the most promising of all staff weapons, mainly because of the high scaling, Int A and Fai A, and the 430 sorcery scaling at level 25. But requirements are also very high, and you need to focus on two attributes: intelligence and faith.
9. Gelmir Glintstone Staff
- Scaling is Str E, Int D, and Fai D.
- Attribute requirements are Str 6, Int 14, and Fai 14.
- Passive effect can boost Lava sorcery.
Lava-type abilities are rare in the game, Magma Shot, Roiling Magma, Gelmir’s Fury, and Rykard’s Rancor. That’s about it. Gelmir Glintstone Staff can provide you with loot in certain areas. If you like fire-based spells, I recommend you try it. Overall, this is better than Prince of Death’s Staff.
10. Rotten Crystal Staff
- Scaling is Str D and Int B.
- Attribute requirements are Str 8 and Int 48.
- Passive effect can boost Crystallian sorcery and cause scarlet rot buildup.
There are three three crystal mages near Elphael Inner Wall Site of Grace, which may randomly drop this special item after being defeated. Compared to Azur, Night, Full Moon, and Glintstone options, Crystallian-type sorceries are rarely used. However, if you like using Crystal Torrent or Shattering Crystal, it is a good choice.
