It’s no secret that Malenia is considered the toughest boss in Elden Ring. Players have attempted to fight her over 329 million times, making her the most attempted boss in the entire game. Today I’m going to show you my 10 Elden Ring builds that beat Malenia.

10. Sword Of Night And Flame Build

Number 10 is a Sword of Night and Flame Build. This is a Straight Sword, which mainly relies on data scaling such as Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith.

This weapon has a weapon skill called Night-and-Flame Stance. With this skill, you can perform two types of attacks. Press L2+R1 buttons, you can perform “The Night,” which deals with magic damage and increases Intelligence. This skill is similar to Comet Azur, but has a shorter duration.

By pressing L2+R2 buttons, you can cast Frenzied Burst, which deals fire damage and scales Faith. Combine with Shard of Alexander, Magic Scorpion Charm, Fire Scorpion Charm, Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear to boost your magic and fire attack. Makes this build a good choice for an Intelligence and Faith hybrid build to beat Malenia.

9. Lightning Uchigatana Build

Number 9 is Lightning Uchigatana Build. Uchigatana is a type of Katanas with main scaling depending on Strength and Dexterity. This is the starting weapon of Samurai Class. It’s a blood lost build that can be infused with Ash of War and buffed with magic and consumables.

This makes this weapon a very reliable Katanas, and probably the most versatile weapon in the game. Combined with Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists, which lets you dodge and counterattack. This makes this Dexterity build a good choice for beating Malenia as well.

8. Blasphemous Blade Build

Number 8 is Blasphemous Blade Build. Blasphemous Blade is a Greatsword, it related whose primary scaling to Strength, Dexterity, and Faith. It also has Taker's Flames ability, which heals you for 10% of your maximum health when it hits an enemy.

This ability deals with pure fire damage and only scales with Faith. As long as you hold this weapon, you heal for 4% of your maximum health each time an enemy dies. If you thought Elden Ring was too difficult and you’re looking for an easy way to defeat Malenia, this weapon is the answer.

7. Grave Scythe Build

Number 7 is Grave Scythe Build. Grave Scythe is a Reaper that primarily relies on Strength and Dexterity scaling. This weapon can bleed enemies, and the style itself is just like a Grim Reaper.

Equipping this weapon can also increase your vitality, which can resist instant death by 35 points. Combine Ash of War: Spinning Strikes, and choose Fire as the primary weapon Affinity. There is no doubt that this build can take down Malenia with ease.

6. Nagakiba Build

Number 6 is Nagakiba Build. Nagakiba is a Katanas mainly measured by Strength and Dexterity. This is the longest Katanas in Elden Ring, can inflict blood loss buildup on enemies, and can also infuse Ash of War. This makes this Katanas very versatile and especially suitable for Dexterity builds. Combined with Ash of War: Spinning Slash, it can deal steady damage to enemies. As such, it also becomes one of the go-to builds for beating Malenia.

5. Zweihander Build

Number 5 is Zweihander Build. Zweihander is a Greatsword, mainly measured by Strength and Dexterity. What I love about this weapon is that it has a great range with Ash of War, and can deal massive damage to enemies.

You can perform up to 6 consecutive attacks, which cause bleeding faster. Combine this with a Swarm of Flies Incantation and you can unleash Swarm of Bloodflies, which increases blood loss. Therefore, it becomes a good choice to beat Malenia’s Blood build.

2. Eleonora’s Poleblade Build

Number 2 is Eleonora’s Poleblade Build. Eleonora’s Poleblade is a Twinblade, mainly proportional to Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane. This weapon has a weapon skill called Bloodblade Dance. This allows you to unleash a series of tornado-like attacks as you leap into the air.

What I like about this weapon is that you can easily chain attacks to increase blood loss faster. To increase your blood stack, you need to increase your Arcane stats. So if you’re looking for Blood build to destroy Malenia as quickly as possible, this build has you covered.

1. Moonveil Build

Number 1 is Moonveil Build. Moonveil is a Katanas mainly related to Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane. With Transient Moonlight weapon skill, you can perform instant Slash attacks and fire waves of light at breakneck speed.

It can do a lot of poise damage, and the weapon itself can inject lost blood into enemies. If you combine Ash of War: Glintblade Phalanx with your second weapon, it can make it an excellent choice for defeating Malenia.
