Diablo 4: You Need To Know The Rank Of All Classes Before Starting Season 1 - Character Analysis
Posted: Jul 22, 2023 Views: 1931
After the release of Diablo 4 Season 1, which class do you think is the best in the game?
When the Diablo 4 Season 1 patch was released, there were a lot of changes in the global stats and individual skills of the five classes, and many players were taken aback when they saw the patch notes. A lot of meta damage options were nerfed, and there were plenty of nerfs that weren't mentioned. Although many new Diablo 4 Items have been added to the game.
That means it's time for a new class ranking before Season of the Malignant actually begins. And as old fans of Diablo know very well, a good class is the cornerstone of your road to success. Below I will introduce you to the ranking of all classes in Diablo 4 Season 1.
What Is The Best Class In Diablo 4 Season 1?
Every player should create a new character in Diablo 4 Season 1, and from my thorough analysis, I think the best class in the game is Druid. With nerfs to Vulnerability and Critical Strike, and other general changes, Druid's damage has increased rather than decreased, much to the delight of many Druid fans who were already keen. Of course, if you don't want to start with a new character, you can also look for some Diablo 4 Boosting Service.
Below you can find the full class rankings, ranked from best to worst:
Diablo 4 Season 1 all classes ranking:
- Druid
- Rogue
- Necromancer
- Barbarian
- Sorcerer
Some Of My Analysis
In the above rankings, you will find that Druid and Rogue are quite close in ranking, and you can argue for the ranking of these two classes. In the patch, however, the nerfs to Vulnerability, Critical Strike, and Siphon Strike definitely hurt Rogue. Whereas the Druid class is nearly unkillable and has a ton of variety.
If you want the best class in Diablo 4 Season 1, go for Druid, which I also picked when starting my new character. Of course, if your Rogue is very good and you are very confident, you can choose firmly.
Next came Necromancer and Barbarian. Both methods work, but Necromancer has an advantage. Like Rogue, the Necromancer took a hit in Season 1, causing its survivability to drop significantly, while Barbarian was able to hold his own. But Necromancer is still better in comparison, it's just that the damage has been nerfed, not as incredible as it was before Season 1.
The last class on our list is Sorcerer. This class was already the worst before Season of the Malignant, and for some reason, Blizzard continued that trend. Even abilities like teleportation have been weakened by a notch. You can always run Sorcerer for fun, but don't expect to use it like Rogue or Druid.

Summarize
Overall, just like in Diablo 4, each class has its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. Although the abilities of each class have been adjusted after the patch is released, I believe you will be able to find the most suitable class for you. Today is the second day of the release of Season 1, have you tried to enter the game? Which is your favorite class?
Hope the above introduction is helpful to you, thank you for your careful reading.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Boss, Difficulty And Drop Rates: Next Season Brings Big Changes
The delay of Diablo 4 Season 8 to April 29 is somewhat frustrating. But the good news is that the developers will bring major changes in Season 8. Previously, the developers claimed that an “old friend” would return in Season 8. Players have been speculating and guessing about this. Now the answer has been revealed. It is Belial, the boss in Diablo 3.
Changes
There has been such a saying in Diablo 4 player community. The fun of Diablo 4 is to level up and obtain equipment before clearing the game constantly. Once the endgame is reached, the character basically becomes invincible, and even the boss is difficult to challenge.
Therefore, in the endgame of Diablo 4, even if the player obtains a lot of Diablo 4 Gold, unique weapons or legendary equipment, it is difficult to have the excitement of the game’s pioneering period. In other words, the game becomes boring due to the excessive performance of the character in the late game.
To change this situation, the developers announced that they will introduce the following changes in the next season:
- Players will reach level 60 more slowly, and Torment will become more difficult
- Three new bosses will be added to the game in Season 8, including Belial from Diablo 3
- Re-adjust the drop rate of legendary equipment
Difficulty
The developers intend to increase the difficulty of the game in Season 8 greatly. In Season 7, half of the players reached the highest difficulty of the game, Torment 4, which was far beyond their expectations. The development team estimated that the number of players was only 10%. Therefore, in order to reach this number, the difficulty in Season 8 will be greatly increased, making Torment 4 like “real hell”.
I hope that the developers will not only make changes in the numerical value, because the simple numerical change will not satisfy the players. Because the monsters that were originally easy to kill suddenly have extremely high health and attack power in the next difficulty, which will make players feel that their upgrades are not rewarded, giving players a sense of frustration. It would be better to introduce some mechanical changes.
Boss
I’ve always felt that Diablo 4 doesn’t have enough bosses, especially compared to Path of Exile 2. Fortunately, Season 8 will add three new end-game bosses: Urivar, Harbinger of Hatred, and Belial, the Lord of Lies.
Belial, the Lord of Lies, will serve as the game’s pinnacle boss. He must have left a deep impression on players of Diablo III’s multi-stage second act battle, and in the final stage, this hideous demon’s huge body took up most of your screen. Diablo IV’s lead season designer Deric Nuñez told players: “He is climbing his way to the top of the lair boss ladder. He is the new exalted pinnacle challenge within the ladder. He is the highest challenge, the highest reward.”
The theme of Season 8 should be bosses. After defeating a boss, players will unlock the boss’s skills and use them. It is said that there will be 24 boss skills for players to collect, experiment with, and combine. Honestly, playing a boss is way more fun than playing a witch. I’m already excited about Season 8.
In addition to the new boss powers, the team also announced that the boss summoning conditions will be simplified in Season 8. Summoning bosses no longer requires a variety of summons. These messy summons really pollute the player’s inventory. Boss Ladder system will be removed and replaced by Lair Key system. Each boss requires its own Lair Key, and the main purpose of these keys is to unlock the loot after defeating the boss. Without a Lair Key, even if you defeat the boss, you can’t even get any Diablo 4 Gold in the treasure chest.
In addition, Apparition Incursions will be introduced in Season 8. In simple terms, this is a boss rush mode. You need to defeat 10 random bosses in sequence. This is definitely a difficult challenge, and wish you good luck.

Drop Rates
During Diablo 4 campfire chat, the developers were apparently a bit surprised by the record-breaking pace at which players reached max level in Season 7, so in Season 8, the team’s goal is to slow down the pace of players’ play throughs and then reduce the drop rate of legendary items to make the power increase more enjoyable for players. It’s hard to see that exciting orange glow from a pile of Diablo 4 Gold anymore.
According to design director Colin Finer, the purpose of these changes is to make players “more rewarding and satisfying as you go through these levels.“
It seems that the developers are working hard to make Diablo 4 more playable, whether it is introducing new bosses or increasing the difficulty, and it is for this purpose. But for players, the changes in Season 8 are not all pleasing. Some players are dissatisfied with the adjustment of loot drop rate.
Players reported that the drop rate of Ancestral legendary items in this game is already very low, and this probability will be reduced in Season 8, which makes Ancestral legendary items even rarer. And the affixes of Ancestral legendary items are always unsatisfactory. Players seem to never get the corresponding level of equipment as they grow up. They are tired of this change that makes things worse.
The above are the changes that Diablo 4 will bring in Season 8. Which changes do you think are good and which changes will ruin the game? Are you looking forward to Season 8?

Diablo 4 Season 8 Release Delay: Is This Update A Chance To Bring A Complete Game Rework?
How have you been doing in Season of Witchcraft recently? Have you entered the endgame and conquered Echo of Lilith? To be honest, in Season 7 we saw Witch Powers inspired by Diablo 3, which did bring a brand new gaming experience, but like Vampiric Powers in Season of Blood, their existence only has a shallow synergy with the character build, and there is nothing more worth exploring in terms of the storyline or the source of these powers. So rather than saying that the developers have launched a new season mechanism, it is better to say that they are just using the classic elements in D3 and Season of Blood as a gimmick to attract players.
So, for the past few months of Season of Witchcraft, it can only be said that the player's response is mediocre. Because the developers have neither broken away from the inherent concept of Diablo series of games, nor provided more in-depth content worthy of players’ challenges. Therefore, compared to repeating these boring contents in Season 7, more players have turned their attention to the upcoming Season 8.
Season 8 Launch Delayed By Two Weeks
In fact, if you have been following the developments of Diablo 4, you will know that the developers have announced that the next season will be released on April 15, 2025, but a recent post by Rod Fergusson overturned this view. They said that in order to bring more exciting content to Season 8, the team had to postpone the release of the next season by two weeks, April 29.
This delay is more like solving new development problems. Maybe they have hired some capable testers and changed the way to fix “bugs”, but maybe they just want to give themselves a two-week vacation and get rid of their busy work.
But let’s be optimistic. The last delay was in S4, which was an event of completely remaking the game. I hope it will be the same this time.
Speculations About The Return Of Old Friends In Season 8 - Cube Or Zoltun Kulle?
It is worth noting that Rod Fergusson also revealed news that they plan to bring back an “old friend” in the new season. Diablo fans are currently speculating what Fergusson means by this old friend, as he seems to be referring to a familiar character from Diablo series that will return in Season 8. However, some have speculated that this character may not be one of the classic classes we are familiar with in the past, perhaps a memorable villain, or perhaps the boss ladder is really going to be expanded!
If we had to guess, they are likely to bring back Cube and Zoltun Kulle, who are the most obvious friends players have had in the past Diablo season journeys.
Cube is a device based on Kanai’s Cube from Diablo III. It is a multi-functional tool that can be used to craft and modify items, gain special powers, and convert crafting materials.
Currently, there is no direct counterpart to this Cube in Diablo 4, which means that there are no items in the game that can be transformed or modified as a Cube with a specific recipe. In previous updates, most Cube-like functions were handled by in-game vendors or by players directly remaking item modifiers by consuming a certain amount of Diablo 4 gold and materials, rather than dedicated Cube items. Therefore, the return of this mechanic would be an excellent quality of life change.
Zoltun Kulle was a sorcerer in Diablo 3 who was originally dedicated to fighting Prime Evils and preventing them from returning to Sanctuary. However, after discovering the secret of immortality, Zoltun Kulle became a tyrant and ultimately betrayed his organization.
Some say Kulle is the most popular character in D3 because of his manipulative and cunning voice, but others consider him a villain who acts for his own benefit. However, overall, Zoltun Kulle plays a more critical role in the character’s growth, survival, and ultimate victory than any other NPC. Therefore, its reappearance has been one of the most requested things by players during each season update since the release of Diablo 4.
However, it always takes extra time to do that kind of additional content in the game, not to mention that they have experience with reworking systems like Gem Sockets and Reputation Board, so if it is the return of these features, I think we will definitely see it in Season 8 PTR soon. But don’t expect too much, after all, what developers are best at is whetting players’ appetites. It might be something as mundane as a legend or a quest, but it’s unlikely to be a belated surprise.
It’s Time To Get Rid Of Seasonal Content!
Amidst the many discussions speculating on what new content will be introduced in the new season, there is another voice that hopes that the developers should postpone Season 8 forever and get rid of the cyclical seasonal content.
The current situation is that a new bug will appear three days after the start of the new season, and then the season can be abandoned and it’s time to focus on the next season update! The developers can only keep copying all the content in the past Diablo series, including goblins, so Diablo 4’s diversity in this regard is embarrassing. D4 has undoubtedly the most boring legend and fable in the entire Diablo series.
For these reasons, we think that Diablo 4 developers should focus more on quality content and regularly add new interesting equipment and legend plots, instead of always working on the terrible season reset. If we can choose to start a new character and have fun with our precious equipment, then this is the time for these seasonal content to play a role.
However, to be honest, this is just our speculation at the moment, and the arrival of Season 8 seems unstoppable, so we can only hope that this delay for new content is worth the wait.
If you still have expectations for the next season of Diablo 4 and look forward to a better gaming experience, then preparing in advance is the eternal topic of every journey, whether it is a new character build or a large amount of in-game resources. Of course, if you are currently out of inventory, don’t worry, you can follow D4 giveaway channel in IGGM Discord, where frequent draws give you the opportunity to get some rare items for free. So, why not participate in it in time, anyway, you have nothing to lose!

Diablo 4 Season 7 Endgame: What Can Players Farm?
It’s still a long, long time before Diablo 4 Season 8 arrives. There may be some official events during this period, and you can get a lot of unique items, but the drop rate of special items in this game is a bit too high to be exciting.
Season 7 has been running for a long time, and most players may have reached the highest World Tier. However, Diablo 4’s mid-end game content is not as rich as Path of Exile 2. What can players do?
Monsters
When you create a character, the monsters in the game become an important part of the player’s entertainment. When the player defeats a monster for the first time, you will get gold, XP, and even equipment. When you reach World Tier 4, you need to defeat fierce monsters and get more gold, XP, and better equipment.
It sounds like nothing has changed, but it is true. The level of the monster will rise as the player’s level rises. There is not much difference between the monsters that players hunt from low to high levels.
The changes brought by World Tier 4 are as follows:
- Monsters will be between level 75 and 100.
- Some Ancestral items and Unique items will only drop at this difficulty.
- Legendaries, Uniques, and Mythic Uniques have a higher chance of dropping.
- Experience gained from defeating monsters increased by 250%.
- Monsters drop 20% more Diablo 4 Gold.
- Character resistance to all elements reduced by 50%.
When you successfully reach Tier 4 difficulty, farming monsters is still your best option for leveling up.
Echo Of Lilith
When you reach level 90 and the world reaches Tier 4, you will unlock a quest: Capstone Dungeon: Echo of Hatred. This quest will lead you to the chapel in Nevesk. Here you can summon the most difficult boss in the entire game, Echo of Lilith.
It is recommended that you challenge Echo of Lilith after reaching level 100 and completing most of the bosses challenges. Many of her attacks are deadly. If you are not prepared, a single hit from her may kill your character.
Boss Ladder
The best way to get gear for your character is by fighting bosses. Many core gear for your build is found in boss drops. In Diablo 4, bosses in Boss Ladder require you to collect special items to summon them. These bosses have unique loot lists, and some can only be summoned in World Tier 3 or even World Tier 4.
- Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint: Can only be summoned in World Tier 3 and above, requires Living Steel.
- Echo of Varshan: Can only be summoned in World Tier 3 and above, requires Malignant Heart.
- The Beast in the Ice: Can only be summoned in World Tier 4, requires Distilled Fear.
- Lord Zir: Can only be summoned in World Tier 4, requires Exquisite Blood.
- Echo of Duriel: Can only be summoned in World Tier 4, requires Mucus-Slick Egg and Shard of Agony.
- Andariel: Can only be summoned at World Tier 4, requires Pincushioned Doll and Sandscorched Shackles.
Tormented Echoes
Want to challenge yourself further? Then there are more powerful versions of these summonable bosses. They can appear as Tormented Echoes at level 200. Summoning these bosses requires the above summoning items and Stygian Stone. You can find Stygian Stone in The Pit.
Since these bosses cost more to summon, they will also drop more rewards. All items you get from Tormented Echoes Boss will be item level 925. The first time you defeat Tormented Echoes Boss, it will drop a Resplendent Spark.
Helltides
When you reach Tier 4, Helltides will become more challenging. You will need to face a constant stream of enemies from Hell. Here is some information about Helltides:
- The more monsters you kill, the more dangerous the Helltides will be. You will eventually be besieged by a swarm of demons and a Hellborn.
- Killing Hellborn will drop Baneful Hearts. You can use them to summon Blood Maiden.
- Profane Mindcage Elixir can increase the level of monsters in Helltides. It can be increased to a maximum of 130.
Gauntlet
Gauntlet is a non-linear dungeon, where the distribution of monsters and the dungeon layout will not change during the week. You have eight minutes to complete the dungeon, and the system will give you a score based on your performance.
The highest scorer will receive a Cache of Trials or Cache of Worthy at the end of the week. Players with lower scores can also receive a Cache of the Gauntlet as a reward.
The Pit
The Pit is one of the ultimate challenges in the endgame. You can think of The Pit as a randomized dungeon, which means that the monsters and dungeon layout are different on each floor. It consists of 150 levels, and the difficulty and rewards will vary.
To unlock new levels, players must defeat the boss within 15 minutes. The longer the remaining time after killing the boss, the more levels will be unlocked. If you die in The Pit, the timer will increase by 30 seconds.
Infernal Hordes
This is a special survival challenge. You need to deal with waves of monsters. Finally, the boss is defeated. Each wave has a one-minute battle time. You can collect Burning Aether during the battle. Burning Aether can be used to unlock Spoils of Hell chests, which contain equipment, summoning materials, and gold.
The above is about what you can do in Diablo 4 endgame. There is a lot of content to play actually. But compared with the endgame content of Path of Exile 2, the endgame content of Diablo 4 seems too loose, and I hope this will change in Season 8.

Diablo 4 Season 7 Boss Overview: How Many Bosses Are There?
Well, the bad news came suddenly. The launch time of Season 8 was delayed by two weeks. Players may have to wait until the end of April to play. Fortunately, the patch 0.2.0 of Path of Exile 2 will be launched on March 20, and players will have rich content to play again.
How should players spend the days when neither Path of Exile 2 nor Diablo 4 are updated? Why not go and farm the bosses again?
BOSS Classification
The boss battle in Diablo 4 can provide rich rewards. It is also the most reliable way for players to obtain unique items. There are 3 types of bosses in the game:
- Pinnacle Bosses
- Ladder Bosses or Summoned Bosses
- World Bosses
These bosses have different difficulty levels and different rewards. Among them, the only Pinnacle Boss is Echo of Lilith, but she basically does not provide any rewards, just to show your strength.
Pinnacle Bosses: Echo Of Lilith
When your character successfully reaches World Tier 4, you will unlock the fight against Echo of Lilith. The boss fight is located in Echo of Hatred Capstone Dungeon in Nevesk, Fractured Peaks.
Defeating her will earn you a title and a mount. No other unique weapons, materials, or even Diablo 4 Gold are available. This boss fight is very difficult, so you should bring your best gear.

Ladder Bosses Or Summoned Bosses
In Diablo IV, there are a class of bosses that have different difficulty levels, from Torment I to Torment IV. To fight these bosses, you need to prepare their summoning materials. These summoning materials can be obtained from Whisper Caches, Elites, Treasure Goblins, World Bosses, and Hellborne.
Fighting these bosses will drop unique items, and the higher the difficulty, the more items they drop. Each boss has unique drops, and you can check the boss’s loot list in advance to decide which bosses you want to challenge.
Andariel, Maiden Of Anguish
- Summoning Location: Hanged Man’s Hall in eastern Kehjistan.
- Required Items: Pincushioned Dolls and Sandscorched Shackles.
These two items can be collected by defeating The Beast in the Ice and Lord Zir. Andariel and Duriel are the bosses with the highest probability of dropping Mythic Uniques. If you plan to farm Mythic Uniques, these two bosses are your best targets.
The Beast In The Ice
- Summoning Location: In Glacial Fissure. Along the border of Desolate Highlands in Fractured Peaks.
- Required Items: 12 Distilled Fear
You can usually find them as drops from nightmare dungeons or world bosses.
Duriel, King Of Maggots
- Summoning Location: in Kehjistan east of Gea Kul.
- Required Items: 2 Mucus-Slick Eggs and 2 Shard of Agony
These two items can be collected by defeating Grigoire and Varshan.
Echo Of Varshan
- Summoning Location: You can summon it in Malignant Burrow in the northeast corner of The Writhing Mire in Hawezar.
- Required Items: 4 Malignant Hearts
In addition to random drops, you can get additional Malignant Hearts by killing Grotesque Debtors or offering Grim Favors to Tree of Whispers.
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint
- Summoning Location: in Hall of the Penitent along the eastern edge of Dindai Flats
- Required Items: 12 Living Steel
Can be obtained from Tree of Whispers chests, World Bosses, Elite enemies, Tortured Gift in Helltide, etc.
Lord Zir
- Summoning Location: Fractured Peaks, you can find the summoning location on The Darkened Way on the northern border of Gale Valley.
- Required Items: 12 Exquisite Blood
Exquisite Blood can be obtained by defeating Elite enemies, opening Cache Rewards, or defeating World Bosses.
World Bosses
World Bosses appear every 3.5 hours. When you enter World Boss area, the event will automatically start. You will join a group of players to defeat World Boss.
The battle lasts for 15 minutes. If the player fails to defeat World Boss within 15 minutes, it will flee with Grand Cache!
Grand Cache is the most important reward for World Boss battle. In addition to gold, it also includes Legendary and Unique Items!
World Boss has different stages. Every time the boss enters the next stage, the battlefield has a chance to drop many health potions.
Every week, each Boss will drop a Grand Cache, but only one Grand Cache will be provided. Grand Cache contains a Legendary Item and a Unique Item. The number of rewards obtained by killing World Boss at different difficulties is different.
- Ashava, The Pestilent: Its attacks inflict poison, and other skills cause physical damage.
- Avarice, The Gold Cursed: As its name suggests, defeating it can earn you some Diablo 4 gold. Its attacks are very fierce, mainly causing physical damage, so watch its animations carefully.
- Wandering Death, Death Given Life: Wandering Death mainly causes shadow damage. There will be a short animation before the attack. Pay attention and you can avoid the damage.
The above is a brief introduction to all the bosses in Diablo 4. Find some bosses you have never challenged. Use your different characters to challenge them again, which will bring you some fun. More importantly, after defeating these bosses, picking up the dropped items on the ground is always very stimulating and addictive.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Prediction: What Will Happen In The New Season?
During this period, there has been a lot of news about Diablo 4, but unfortunately. It’s not all good news for players. The developers made it clear that they are not busy developing Diablo 5 now, and they will focus on the continued operation of Diablo 4. Well, at least players who own Diablo 4 don’t need to prepare another money.
Secondly, the next DLC of Diablo 4 will be officially launched in 2026. Hopefully, this year of preparation time will allow them to produce something really exciting.
The eighth season of Diablo 4 will be delayed by two weeks, and players will have to wait until the end of April to wait for Season 8. Well, this may be a good decision for the developers. Because at this time, players have played Path of Exile 2 patch 0.2.0 for a month, and it’s time to draw their attention back to Diablo 4.
Date
The original end date of Diablo 4 Season 7, which was updated in January 2025, was April 15, and now they have postponed this date. Season 7 will end on April 29. In theory, Season 8 will be launched on the day Season 7 ends, but the official date of Season 8 has not been officially confirmed.
The current predicted time is April 29, 2025, at 10 am Pacific Time. The developers assure players that interesting content will continue to be added to the game during this period and the game will not be boring.
What Will Change In Season 8?
In order to appease players, the developers hinted that they will make some adjustments to the game content in Season 8。
Major Class Balance Update
The developers have tried to change the imbalance between each class since the first season. They promised that they will work on improving underperforming classes and adjusting overpowered classes in the next season. However, this is hard to convince players. Because after 7 seasons, Sorcerer’s performance is still unsatisfactory, and Druid is still very strong in all aspects. I think the developers may not be good at finding the balance point between different classes.
New Season Mechanic
Each season of Diablo 4 introduces a unique character build item (like Malignant Hearts, Blood Harvests, Spiritborn abilities, etc.), and Season 8 is no exception. The developers haven’t revealed details about this, but it may involve new rune words.
Improved Loot System
Diablo 4’s item drop system has always been a bit unsatisfying for players. The variety of drops is mostly junk that players don’t use, which is not exciting for players. The developers have acknowledged these problems, and they may adjust the item drop rate and affixes in Season 8.
Players should be able to focus more on unique items in Season 8 instead of being stuck in endless farming Diablo 4 Gold at the beginning of the game.
New Endgame Content
The developers hinted that Season 8 may bring a new dungeon or challenge mode. Parts such as Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, or PVP Fields of Hatred will be expanded and filled.
Battle Pass
Battle Pass for Season 8 will not change much. It will still have 90 unlockable rewards. It will be divided into two levels: free and premium. The premium Battle Pass includes all the rewards, which usually requires 1,000 Platinum to unlock.
Battle Pass mainly includes the following rewards:
- Platinum (for premium track)
- 27 cosmetic items
- 4 armor transmogs
- 3 weapon transmogs
- 11 emotes
- Season 8 exclusive mount
The free Battle Pass will still include some materials or Diablo 4 Gold rewards, but the best rewards are all in the premium Battle Pass. Players will progress much faster in Season 8 to complete Battle Pass. Compared to Season 7, players need about a quarter less XP to complete the entire Battle Pass in Season 8.
Theme Of Season 8
Each season has a theme, such as the theme of Season 7, which is currently ongoing, is Season of Witchcraft.
There are many opinions on what the seasonal theme of Season 8 will be. The developer said that an “old friend” will return in Season 8, which may be a clue to the theme of Season 8.
King Leoric, Zoltun Kulle, Decard Cain or even Tyrael?
Some players speculate that the character returning in Season 8 is Tyrael. It is reported that the appearance set of Season 8 battle pass is Archangel’s Might. Even several special items in Season 8 are related to Tyrael. If this news is true, then Season 8 will definitely make players crazy.
There is another guess about the theme of Season 8. Some players disassembled the data of the 2.2 build and found some interesting content: Xiansai. The theme of Season 8 may also be Xiansai.
Xiansai is Chinese themed island north of Scosglen. Perhaps the content of Season 8 will be full of the style of the oriental world, which is also a surprise.
In any case, any content about Season 8 makes players excited. Season 7 was a great season, and Witch Powers was fun, but it was boring to just farm gold and fight the same bosses. Let’s wait for Season 8 and expect more exciting news.

Diablo 4 Seasonal Content Causes Controversy: Is There Still A Need For Seasonal Updates?
If you are an old player of Diablo series, you may also have this annoyance, that is, frequent season updates are too troublesome. This is not only because the update content of each season is very limited, and players cannot get a deeper game experience, but more importantly, they need to start a new character and build after each season, which greatly disrupts the player’s game plan.
Therefore, after 7 seasons of updates, the voices in Diablo 4 community for removing seasonal content are getting louder and louder! They are eager for developers to abolish some repetitive seasonal content and just keep the content updated as in the past.
Although the response to Season 7 is still good, and the new Witch Powers are well-liked by players, this cannot cover up the fact that seasonal content is still on the decline. We can even expect that almost after waiting for players to be enthusiastic about this new season mechanism, they will give up continuing this game, and Season of Witchcraft will not be much different from previous seasons.
This may be because there are no more new classes in Diablo 4 for players to try, and players don’t want to start a new character again and again, or it may be because many players are really tired of the endgame content that does not challenge anything.
Therefore, more and more players have reported that Diablo 4 should have less of these boring and repetitive grinding content, which will only make players more and more disappointed with the game. We are eager for the game to have more improvements in completing tasks, not only in terms of the difficulty of tasks but also in the rewards we can get after completing tasks, including more loot and Diablo 4 Gold drop rate. This will give players more breathing space in the boring grinding life.
The Call For Canceling Seasonal Content Is Getting Louder
Considering these factors, many Diablo fans have asked developers to cancel seasonal content and move more time to Eternal Realm. What developers need to do is to add more content to Eternal Realm so that players can enjoy the game at any time, rather than moving some of the past seasonal features to Eternal Realm. After all, no one wants to invest a lot of time in a temporary feature that is about to disappear.
Many players think that canceling the season update and focusing only on the basic content update and expansion content is a wise choice. Because frequent season updates are completely unfavorable to extending the life of a game.
Especially every season update requires players to start from scratch, rebuild a new character build, and restart the campaign, which is really unnecessary. More importantly, it means that all the hard work you put into your character in the previous season will be wasted. Therefore, more players would rather continue to experience new content with existing characters rather than starting from scratch. If someone is really willing to start over, then recreating a small account to experience the game may be a better choice.
However, some pessimistic players believe that in order to maximize profits and make money from stores and Battle Pass, the developer will not choose to make changes in order to listen to players’ opinions. But who knows?

Reset Of Seasonal Content Can Still Stimulate Players’ Interest
Of course, many players are happy and welcome the reset of the season. They said that it is precisely because of the seasonal content that they have become more interested in the game. Only by setting up new content can players maintain the freshness of the game. However, the balance and improvement of class and build should also be paid attention to, which will make players more willing to spend time to experience the game. A single update cannot improve their sense of participation in the game at all.
Therefore, the way to prevent Diablo 4 players from being tired and disgusted with frequent updates and seasonal content is to add Eternal Realm to the original game to add new content, increase the drop rate of Diablo 4 Gold, increase the reward mechanism, and continuously enrich the game to attract more players.
Final Opinion
In short, although many players resist the frequent updates of Diablo 4, and the voices for the abandonment of seasonal content are also rising, there are also some players who hold the opposite view, believing that seasonal resets are essential, which increases the participation of game players and motivates them to continue to love the game.
As for how to coordinate the opinions of various players, I think a better way is probably that the developers of Diablo 4 can add Eternal Realm content, while the seasonal updates remain unchanged, so that the two parts of players with different opinions can return to the game in a unified and reasonable manner. I hope that in the future Season 8, the developers can better balance the two parts of content. Let us look forward to it!
