Source: IGGMWith the continuous update of season, except for the newly added Class Spiritborn, the five major Classes in Diablo 4 series of games have also received some updates in Class mechanics and content. If you want to know more about Class you are playing, you must know about these updates.
The corresponding situation of the five Classes and the new mechanics they have obtained are: Druids have Spirit Boons, Necromancers have a Book of Dead, Rogues can Specialize, Barbarians have an Arsenal of weapons. And Sorcerers have Enchantments.
If you are a Sorcerer player, you will find that Enchantments mechanism can bring you a lot of benefits in battle. This can not only help you increase the probability of winning Boss and get more Diablo 4 Gold, but also further broaden your combat style and enrich the game experience.
Based on this, we will introduce how to use this mechanism for the majority of Sorcerer players.
Sorcerers Enchantments Overview
A new mechanic for Sorcerers Class, Enchantments are a powerful addition to Sorcerers Class without requiring much in the way of items or conditions to activate them.
They allow Sorcerers to activate additional passive buffs by equipping spells to two unique slots, and every skill available to Sorcerers gets its own unique Enchantment effect.
This process is simple, but the benefits are huge. It also allows Sorcerers to customize their Builds with more skills, gear, and paragon points, further leveling up their combat abilities.
Enchantments also let you customize your Build with a Runewords-like system that triggers unique effects, based on your slotted skills, when assigned.
How To Unlock Sorcerers Enchantments In Game?
Players can only unlock Enchantments in-game when they reach level 15. Not only that, you also need to have the right of access to them, which can only be obtained after completing Legacy of Magi quest. Players can complete this quest in the southwest area of Fractured Peaks.
If you want to unlock Enchantments mechanic as soon as possible, it is imperative that you complete this quest, otherwise it will be useless even if your game character is well above level 15.
After completing quest and successfully unlocking Enchantments, the unique passive skill effect of each ability will appear below its normal effect description. Players can hover over ability to view passive skill effect it provides after Enchantment. Even currently locked skills can be viewed.
In addition, the player’s second and final Enchantment slot can be unlocked at level 30. Once unlocked, you can activate two Enchantment effects, forming a highly customized and interactive system that can completely subvert your previous Build and exert unlimited power in future battles.
How To Open Enchantments Menu?
In order to better view and use Enchantments mechanic, players need to fully understand the relevant menu of Enchantments. If you want to check your Enchantments, first open Character and Inventory screen, then switch to “skills” menu.
In this menu, you can see all items you’ve acquired with skill points, as well as Enchantment effects associated with each skill. In addition, each Sorcerer ability comes with a passive Enchantment that only activates when placed into one of two unlockable slots.
However, if you want to check these slots, you need to click skill Assignment option first, because Sorcerer Enchantments do not have their own menu like the new mechanics of other Classes.
Once clicked, the screen will display all skills that the player currently has equipped, which can be dragged to a new position on the action bar at any time. In addition, at this time, two orbs will appear at the bottom of the screen, just above skill Bar.
Some people simply call them Enchantments “menu”, but they are actually just an addition to skill Assignment screen. Once you unlock Enchantment slot, these two orbs are where you place skills to activate their unique passive buffs.
Sorcerers Enchantments Passives And Synergies
Sorcerer’s Enchantments are present on every single Spell in Sorcerer’s Wheelhouse, but can only be used if a skill point is assigned to the corresponding Parent ability.
In addition, skill points granted by equipment do not count towards this part, and skill does not have to be a skill that Sorcerer uses in regular Rotation. As long as you use skill points for a skill, you can insert the relevant Enchantments.
Enchantments mechanism can help players enhance various Sorcerer Builds, and the specific benefits depend on how you insert Enchantments to Stack with other benefits your character has.
For example, if you want to occasionally Chill enemies while using Lightning Builds, or gain benefits by Hitting Chilled Foes, you can assign Frost Bolt to Enchantment slot to add Chill to other attack modes.
This is just one example of how to use Enchantment. Players can explore more combat possibilities in the game to find the most suitable play style.
That’s all you need to know about using Sorcerer Enchantments in Season of Hatred Rising. If you want to share more ideas about playing Sorcerer Class, you can enter IGGM Discord to communicate with other players.
In addition, the second giveaway event for Diablo 4 Season 6 is being held here. The event will draw 20 players on October 28, each of whom will receive 100x Duriel Materials, 100x Andariel Materials, 500x Living Steel and 500x Exquisite Blood. Hurry up and get involved!
