In Diablo 4, creating a build that can both deal high damage and have high survivability is not a straightforward task. A balanced build can keep you and your characters safe in the early and mid game, and most importantly, it can make you more relaxed in endgame activities.

Of all Classes, Druid is the most suitable. However, because of some changes in the current season, you can use some Uniques in your Druid build to ensure its survivability, and Vasily’s Prayer is one of them. In addition, it will ensure that the damage you deal with Druid’s Werebear will be guaranteed. Regardless of the changes in the seasonal mechanics, the methods of obtaining these Uniques are mostly unchanged. This guide will introduce you to two simple ways to obtain Vasily’s Prayer and its current unique effects.

Basic Way

First of all, the most basic way to obtain Vasily’s Prayer is to open some treasure chests in World Tier 3 or World Tier 4 and find it in the chest. Although this method gives you a low chance of finding Vasily’s Prayer, you can increase the drop rate by participating in more endgame activities.

Here you need to make sure your Druid has reached World Tier 3 or World Tier 4 first, otherwise you can’t enter and find treasure chests. So what endgame activities will help you? The first is the most commonly chosen battle with World Bosses, followed by participating in Gathering Legions.

Completing Nightmare Dungeons can also increase your drop rate a little, but you need to make sure your build is strong enough before running. Otherwise, you need to use Diablo 4 Gold to upgrade your build to an endgame build first.

Special Way

If you don’t want to rely on luck alone, you can directly challenge some Uber Bosses in World Tier 3 or World Tier 4. There will be many Uniques in the loot presented after you fight them. As a Unique, Vasily’s Prayer is no exception.

In Diablo 4, you can farm Vasily’s Prayer by fighting against Echo of Varshan or Lord Zir. It should be noted that both Uber Bosses require you to use some summoning materials and summon them at specific locations before you can start the battle between you. So let's see what you need to prepare.

Echo Of Varshan

Currently, you can challenge three variants of Echo of Varshan: Echo of Varshan (World Tier 3), Echo of Varshan (World Tier 4), and Tormented Echo of Varshan. They require different amounts of summoning materials and provide different loot.

You can summon each variant in Malignant Burrow in Hawezar. If you want to challenge all three at once, you need to have at least 23 Malignant Hearts and one Stygian Stone for Tormented variant. You can collect more by participating in endgame activities or opening Whisper caches.

Echo of Varshan (World Tier 3) requires 2 Malignant Hearts, while Echo of Varshan (World Tier 4) requires 5 Malignant Hearts. They both have a chance to provide you with some Uniques and Diablo 4 Gold. Tormented Echo of Varshan requires 15 Malignant Hearts and a Stygian Stone for completing The Pit in a limited time.

But the special Tormented Echo of Varshan has a 7.5% chance to give you Mythic Uniques besides the normal items. So you can challenge Tormented variant directly when your build is very powerful.

Lord Zir

Can you guess how many Lord Zir you will encounter? 2, normal version and Tormented version. Both variants require you to summon them at Ancient’s Seat in Fractured Peaks. Before that, please prepare 36 Exquisite Blood obtained from endgame activities.

The endgame activities mentioned here are similar to the previous endgame activities that enhance the drop rate: Gathering Legions, World Bosses, Helltides and Nightmare Dungeons. The advice here is to participate in these endgame activities as much as possible, because they will be very useful, both for your build and for your character upgrades.

Summoning a normal Lord Zir only requires 9 Exquisite Blood, while Tormented Lord Zir requires 27 Exquisite Blood and a very difficult to obtain Stygian Stone. But fear not, you can console yourself with the high-quality loot at the end of the fight with Tormented Lord Zir.

The key strategy and tip in all the fights and challenges is to make sure your build is strong enough, or you can ask your friends to explore with you. This way you can greatly avoid the threat of being defeated by Uber Bosses or failing to run endgame activities.

Vasily’s Prayer Unique Effect

When you equip Vasily’s Prayer on your Druid build, your Earth skills will become Werebear skills, and your maximum health will increase to 638-873. This will greatly increase your survivability and allow you to fight some powerful enemies for a long time.

In addition to this, your Willpower will also increase by 3.1%-7.3%, which is very important for Druids because Willpower allows you to heal yourself to some extent and at the same time inflict a lot of damage on your enemies.

Because Vasily’s Prayer focuses on the defensive ability of Druid, not only will your Defensive Posture increase by 3-4, but your armor will also increase by 1500-1750 points. This will also allow Druids to better protect themselves in some encounters with group enemies.
