Source: IGGMDiablo 4 Season of the Infernal Hordes introduces Mother’s Blessing in-game buff, which significantly increases the amount of experience and gold players earn when participating in seasonal adventures, enhancing the player experience of this season’s content.
Mother’s Blessing
The buff begins at 12pm PT on August 20 and will last for a week until 10am PT on August 27. During this time, players will enjoy a 35% increase in experience and a 50% increase in gold. This buff can be stacked with other in-game buffs to give players unprecedented benefits.
Urn of Aggression is a seasonal event-only reward that players can obtain by earning Smoldering Ashes. It grants players an additional 5% experience after defeating monsters, and the item can be upgraded to level 4 to further increase experience and Diablo 4 Gold gain.
Elixirs, on the other hand, are consumable items unlockable at the alchemist. There are 11 different potions, and each Elixir, besides having a unique primary effect, also has the common property of increasing the amount of experience gained by the player. However, the player can only have one elixir active and the potion effect will last for 30 minutes regardless of whether the character dies or not.
Although Mother’s Blessing only appears for a week, after the event ends, Season 5 will last until October 8, during which you still have plenty of time to complete the remaining seasonal content. During the season, if you are missing some items you want, I recommend you to pay attention to the lucky draw that will be held on August 26th in IGGM discord. 100 Torment Duriel materials, 100 Torment Andariel Materials, 1000 Stygian stones and 2000 Exquisite Blood have been prepared for 10 winners. As long as you participate in the event, you will have a chance to become a lucky winner, don’t miss it!
Patch 1.5.1
On August 20, Diablo 4 received a major update called Patch 1.5.1. Besides the usual balance adjustments and bug fixes, there are also many changes that increase the loot obtained. The new Infernal Hordes mode has been introduced, which is one of the preferred ways to increase levels and obtain legendary and unique items in the game.
The update has been optimized for Elite options in Infernal Offerings, increasing players’ chances of obtaining Burning Aether. Unlike the previous Elite option that only provided +1 Burning Aether, each Elite option will now provide an additional +2 Burning Aether, and the loot chest can also be used multiple times.
Burning Rain offering has also been significantly improved in this update. It can currently reward 3-9 Burning Aether, which is three times the previous reward, making it the best choice when combined with offerings that can spawn Hellborne. After the patch was released, the ability of Hellborne in Diablo 4 has also been strengthened because Burning Rain offering did not spawn Hellborne as frequently as expected.
The update also includes a special chest containing legendary items for players. These items are guaranteed to have greater affixes, resolving an issue where players previously could not obtain items with more affixes. This gift will undoubtedly enhance players’ Diablo 4 experience.
Patch 1.5.1 also covers a number of UI and menu improvements. The changes are slight but have a tremendous impact. The trade chat function is now organized by world tier for more efficient communication. Party leaders now have the power to promote other party members to the role of leader, which simplifies the party management process. Players will receive an in-game notification when a new patch is released, and can now change their clan name.
Rogue’s Alchemist Control tempering option has been re-enabled after fixing several issues. The patch notes also include multiple bug fixes, such as correcting the tormented variant of Beast in Ice and ensuring that the correct number of Pincushioned Dolls is dropped. Other issues, such as inaccurate character statistics display in towns, have also been resolved.
Season 5 Leaves The Game Well-Prepared For Vessel Of Hatred
Following the success of the previous season's loot system, Diablo 4 Season of Infernal Hordes once again proved its ability to tweak and innovate. With the launch of Season 5, it brought a number of updates, including a highly repetitive game mode, which immediately received widespread acclaim from players. Currently, Diablo 4 is in the best period of its operation, and these have laid a solid foundation for the upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion and its massive content update, which will be launched in October this year.
More than 50 new Uniques and Legendary items will remain after the end of the season. In addition, this season sets the stage for the events of Vessel of Hatred expansion through a series of new quests. When the expansion is released, Mephisto’s schemes will lead players to Nahantu, although for now he only inspires the wrath of some monsters in Sanctuary.
While previous seasons introduced new characters and engaged Wanderers on their personal quests, this season attempts to lead players through Infernal Hordes mode in a less obtrusive, more transparent way, which is beneficial for the two-month expansion content.
As Diablo 4 Season 5 gradually reaches its climax, players can look forward to a season end full of new challenges and rewards. This season sets the stage for the upcoming Vessel of Hatred expansion through a series of new quests, heralding more adventures to come. Players will return with a full load and ready for the next expansion and future adventures.
