Source: IGGMAs I’m sure all you Diablo fans know, we will be receiving some brand new endgame content on December 5th called Abattoir of Zir.
In this guide, I’ll cover the basics of Abattoir of Zir event, as well as the best ways you can prepare for it, including the rewards you’ll receive from it. Without further ado, let’s get started.
Mother’s Blessing Event Buff
The first thing we focus on is whether your character has reached level 100. Don’t worry if you haven’t reached that level yet. We got a great opportunity to level up quickly.
From November 20th to 27th, they will have an event week called Mother’s Blessing. During this period, it will provide you with a 35% gold buff, helping you accumulate Diablo 4 Gold quickly. But most importantly, experience gains have also been increased by 35%, and already have a 40% buff. This means this will give you a 75% experience gain. So reaching level 100 is very easy to achieve.
How Does It Work?
Abattoir of Zir works similarly to Diablo 3’s Greater Rifts. You will have 10 minutes, during which you must kill as many monsters and demons as possible. You will then summon a boss at the end of the dungeon, and Abattoir of Zir when defeated in the boss.
You’ll then be able to earn Glyph XP and loot, as well as Sigil recipe for your next summons by Abattoir of Zir. Your cultists can craft these sigils.
You will notice a tab in Sigil Crafting called Bloodforged Sigil. You just open it and use the correct Sigil Powder to craft the item you want.
You will then craft your Bloodforged Sigil, which will summon a portal at Dry Steppes’ Ked Bardu when you use it. This will then grant you access to Abattoir.
Meanwhile, this new event will bring a brand new glyph, known as Tears of Blood Glyph. This differs from the glyphs we currently have. The glyph we are currently using only reaches level 21, however, we can upgrade this glyph to level 200.
And as a bonus for every 5 core stats purchased in range, it increased your damage buff by 2%. Also, it provides a 50% bonus to all red nodes within your range. Every 10 levels, this reward will increase by 10%.
How To Prepare?
We are now going to move to the second part of this guide. Here’s just how you can prepare for the release of Abattoir of Zir on December 5th. So first you should be level 100 or have a level 100 character. Most importantly, don’t forget to take advantage of the week’s events.
The second is to make sure you have the right specs and use a building that’s more suited to dealing with Abattoir of Zir. This way, when it comes to actual theory making and putting the build together, performance is at its best. You can also use the time now to start farming materials to summon these bosses.
Also, Helltides Chest has been updated. Players now have a higher chance of receiving additional Living Steel drops in World Tier 3 and 4. Also, Helltides Chest will reward 1 Living Steel at World Tier 4.
The developers have also fixed an issue related to Living Steel Chest not spawning correctly and have temporarily removed Chest Guardian monsters, with plans to reintroduce them once the issue is resolved. This means you’ll be able to earn more Living Steels during this period.
Tips
There are two final tips I want to review. These are very minor issues, but players can still forget about them. So that’s just a good little reminder to make sure you prioritize those as well.
We’ll start with your Elixirs and Incense. Obviously, these require resources to make. So make sure you pick enough Herbs and additionally Whispers, they can give you some resource bonuses.
The benefit of using these Elixirs and Incenses is that they provide buffs to your resistance and your offensive stats. Also, a recent patch update revealed that Incense buffs still apply even after death. Therefore, people are more motivated to accumulate these resources.
The last one that almost everyone should have covered or accomplished is leveling up your Renown in each region. You do this by exploring quest dungeons and each level you reach in the area.
You’ll receive small rewards, including skill points, potion capacity increases, and even Paragon Points to help with your endgame builds. And Abattoir of Zir itself will also contribute to your Renown, with almost every statue you find giving you a permanent buff. This will help your character’s power level increase further.
If you haven’t done so already, I highly recommend you start looking for these. Well, that concludes this Abattoir of Zir preparation guide. I hope you find any part of this Abattoir of Zir guide useful.
