Source: IGGMIf you've played any ARPGs, you know there's always a spin build. There's something about spinning and killing things, that just scratches that part of our brain. So I'm gonna show you how to make a spinning Barbarian in Diablo 4. And I think this fight against Butcher really highlights the pros and cons of this build.
Before You Read
Mind you I'm playing on World Tier 3, and I'm inside a Hightmare Dungeon. So this guy is very hard, but as you can see the build is not lacking in damage, it's very high damage, especially when you have your old. It's also quite tanky as well.
However it does have some drawbacks. Mainly that is very dependent on the coldown of your shouts, and that is also very dependent on your energy levels.
So sometimes you are going to find yourself running away from the enemies, because you need your coldown to come up, but it's still an amazing build.
How To Make This Build Work?
I've been having a lot of fun with it, and I've also had no problem with Endgame content, like it's very very strong. So let me show you how to make this build work.
Step 1 - We started getting the very long game strike, however we'll leave it a level 1 with an amount max this out.
Step 2 - We get Whirlwind of course the main part of the build with Whirlwind, and we max that out.
Step 3 - We get the pressure point passive also max that out, we go to the next Node and we get Rallying Cry. Max that out and go for tactical rolling gray, very important as well we get Iron Skin, Tactical Iron Skin. And we do not max it out, but if you can get some Diablo 4 Items that decrease the level that would be amazing.
Step 4 - We go for Warcraft, we get power work right, but we leave it at level 1. And we get all of these passive points, they all improve our shouts and they're very important.
Step 5 - We get one point in aggressive resistance, so we can max out prolific Fury. In the next Node, we do not get any abilities only passives. So we get one point in HamstRing, both pit fighter and no mercy. And we get one point in thick Skin to max out counter offensive.
Step 6 - We get our Ultimate, Call of the Ancients, and we get heavy-handed maxed out, and finally we get Unbridled Rage or Legendary Passive. That's all you need to get this build to work in terms of the skill points.
Some Legendary Passive Skills
So now we get to the gear, because there are a couple Legendary Passives that you're gonna want to get for this build to work properly.
- Iron Skin runs unstoppable and 20 damage reduction, that is great for being tanky. This one paired with the one we have on our Amulet, damaging an Elite enemy grants you a barrier, these two are what makes you basically a tank.
- Then on both Rings we have passives that improve our Fury regeneration, so this one you gain 6 Fury per second while Berserking. And then the second Ring we can your shout skills regenerate for Fury per second while active, these two are a must.
Otherwise we're not gonna be able to Whirlwind at all basically, and finally the second most important one, we have wild Ring screen constructions is increased for each second it is channeled. So this one is super important, this one increases your damage like crazy, and other than that you can have any other Legendary passes that you want, these are the main ones that you should always have. And that's how you get this build to work.
