Source: IGGMThe first new class since the release of Diablo 4 DLC, Spiritborn, has become a favorite among players because of its diverse synergies and play styles. Almost all Spiritborn builds perform well at high Torment levels. During the leveling process, it is recommended that players try to create their own Spiritborn builds to better understand this class.
When you reach the endgame and can collect the equipment required to make these builds work, then try to switch to one of these top Spiritborn builds. This guide ranks these top Spiritborn builds from least to most efficient for players to choose based on their personal preferences.
5. Jaguar Thorns
Jaguar Thorns build relies heavily on generating Thorns damage, increasing the character’s survivability, continuously applying Vulnerable, and constantly generating Unstoppable effects. This build requires Razorplate to work best and can be used in both leveling builds and endgame builds.
While this build may not perform as well as other Spiritborn builds at high Torment levels, it can still handle high Torment content, just at a slower rate. Despite being at the bottom of the list of best Spiritborn builds, this build is still superior to many other top class builds.
4. Payback
Payback build combines Gorilla and Jaguar Spirit Hall abilities, and when fully equipped with gear pieces from Diablo 4 Gold, this build will have a high APM and deal consistent, high damage.
Payback build utilizes Rod of Kepeleke to trigger Thrash’s 3rd attack and empower Rake, while using Gorilla abilities to create crowd control. The eponymous Potency Skill is the heart of this build, allowing the player to retaliate for a large amount of damage during a cooldown that decreases the more enemies are hit.
Before attempting this build, make sure you have Jaguar/Jaguar Spirit Hall, Loyalty’s Mantle Unique Helm, and Rod of Kepeleke. With this build, you can charge into enemies fearlessly, keeping yourself safe by rotating and destroying everything in your path during the skill cooldown.
3. Touch Of Death
Touch of Death is one of the most popular Spiritborn builds in Diablo 4. This build relies heavily on Touch of Death skill to deal a large amount of continuous Poison damage and a burst of infection effects to nearby enemies. Since this build focuses more on using Centipede abilities, it is relatively fragile. However, it completely makes up for this with Scourge’s strong healing ability, AoE damage, and skill rotation.
Touch of Death relies heavily on Craze of the Dead God and Ring of the Midday Hunt to cast Touch of Death and significantly reduce the trigger time of Poison damage. This build is difficult to upgrade, but in the endgame, it can easily compete with these high-tier content in Torment 4.

2. Eagle Evade
Spiritborn Eagle Evade build was the best version in Diablo 4 before the release of Vessel of Hatred and Season 6. But since then, this build has been favored by players for its powerful Evade and efficient output. However, it has become less powerful since a bug was fixed that allowed players to use the skill endlessly and slow down other players. But Spiritborn Eagle Evade build is still a very powerful build in Diablo 4.
By equipping Sepazontec unique Quarterstaff, your Thunderspike basic skill will always be used on the third cast, which is not only powerful, but also has an important additional function: it happens to completely reset your Evade cooldown. This means that whenever you use Thunderspike, you can immediately use the evade skill again without waiting for its cooldown to end.
Thanks to Accelerated Thunderspike node, whenever you Evade, you will automatically release Thunderspike on nearby enemies. Additionally, with Eagle Spirit Hall, you can fire Feathers at enemies while you evade, dealing tremendous damage and making them Vulnerable. Eagle Evade build is truly one of the most devastating builds in Diablo 4 after equipping the required Uniques and Aspects.
1. Quill Volley
After a recent nerf, Quill Volley build has replaced Eagle Evade build as the best Spiritborn build in Diablo 4. While it takes a lot of effort to fully utilize Quill Volley, it is definitely worth the effort, and once completed, you will be able to easily advance into Torment 4 content. As a core skill, Quill Volley can be enhanced into one of the highest sustained DPS skills in the game with the right Aspects and Uniques.
To achieve this build, you will need a few Uniques, including Rod of Kepeleke, Harmony of Ebewaka, Jacinth Shell, and Ring of the Midnight Sun. These items restore your HP and Vigor, while also counteracting the negative effects of Jacinth Shell, allowing you to quickly restore cooldowns. To get these items quickly, you can follow Diablo 4 giveaway event in IGGM discord. Just leave your favorite emoji to enter the draw.
Hold down Quill Volley button and continue to cast skills at the enemy, while pressing other buttons to increase damage and survivability. Move around with Hunter, and you’ll have the most defensive, most damaging, and overall best Diablo 4 player build currently available.
In Diablo 4’s Spiritborn class, these top builds show the class’s excellence in high Torment content. Each build has its own unique advantages and strategies. Although these builds require players to invest a lot of time and effort in collecting equipment and optimizing skills, the powerful performance and gaming experience they provide is undoubtedly worth it.
