College Football 25: How To Choose Players For Your Team? - Top 10 Players Rankings

Posted: Jul 20, 2024

The days when we can remember jersey number belongs to are gone. With launch of EA Sports College Football 25, the actual players on roster have long been played by players.

In this game, most players are added to the game, so there are thousands of players waiting for us to discover and rank. Like most sports games, ratings are a very necessary thing, because most players need to rely on ratings to choose the players who are suitable for their team.

College Football 25: How To Choose Players For Your Team? - Top 10 Players Rankings

Let’s find out which players are in the top ten! You can use College Football 25 Coins to bring your favorite players or the members you think are the most suitable for your team, creating some chemical reactions and bringing you some unexpected results.

10. Tate Ratledge, OL, Georgia (95 Overall)

The Player In College Football 25 Is Called Tate Ratledge

Rating Evaluation: Just right

He is not highest-ranked in Bulldog, but I think he is undoubtedly one member who deserves respect. Maybe there are not many fans of ordinary college football, and some people don’t know him very well. But it is because of his existence that this team can survive.

He is 6 feet 6 inches tall. As a junior, his physical fitness is comparable to that of an elite offensive lineman. Although the position that everyone is most concerned about this year is QB, I think he will bring great potential to the team as a best protector.

9. Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State (95 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Slightly high

Many people think that he is the most influential transfer member even in the past offseason. After two spectacular seasons at Ole Misstwo, he now plays for Buckeyes.

Judkins has scored 34 touchdowns in the past two seasons, which is already a decline in his score, otherwise his score would be even more amazing. He is one of the most explosive offensive players. Although he is very good, some people still question his ranking.

8. Mason Graham, DT, Michigan (95 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Just right

Although Wolverines’ star offensive power has been in limelight last year, I don’t think Mason Graham’s tremendous from Michigan is still remembered. Many people think that Graham’s time is now, and even if some people leave the team, it will not affect him.

Although he did not occupy an absolute dominant position in the stat sheet last season, only finishing with just three sacks, this does not affect his dominance in the game at all, because he is the highest-ranked interior defensive lineman.

7. Malaki Starks, FS, Georgia (95 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Just right

There are two Georgia players inside the top 10, one is Tate Ratledge mentioned above, and the other is Malaki Starks we are going to discuss now.

Malaki Starks was once a 5-star recruit and one of the most promising players in 2020. His fame is proportional to his strength, and there is no such thing as over-hyping. In 2022, he completed 52 tackles and three interceptions.

Although he is not the highest-ranked safety in College Football 25, he is also worthy of being ranked in the top ten. Although some people may ignore safety position, his role is much greater than we think.

6. Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado (95 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Too low

Recently, it has been difficult for me to find a player who can compare with Travis Hunter in terms of value on the court. He started playing for Jacksonville State as a freshman. At the suggestion of Deion Sanders, he made a change and transferred to Colorado.

After arriving in Colorado, Hunter took to the water like a duck to water. He quickly became known to the public as a cornerback and a wide receiver. Although he missed some time in 2023 because of injury, his skill set was unique.

Some people question this ranking and say that he is ranked much more than this. He has every reason to be the best player in CFB 25. Although the current ranking is not bad, it is not enough to be satisfied with this. He deserves better ranking.

5. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State (95 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Just right

It is rare for freshmen to make an impact in Alabama. After all, there are so many talents here, especially when the head coach is Nick Saban, but Caleb Downs is completely different. He has become one of the best players on the field since he started in Crimson Tide.

After Saban retired, Downs made a decision and came to Ohio State. The Buckeyes defense is already strong, and after Downs came, Buckeyes defense became more impenetrable.

Downs completed 107 tackles, intercepted two passes and even returned a punt for a touchdown in Alabama. This is incredible. As long as he gets the ball, there are endless possibilities. Many people think that his talent ends here, but he surprises people every time.

4. James Pearce Jr, DE, Tennessee (95 Overall)

The Player In College Football 25 Is Called James Pearce

Rating Evaluation: Slightly high

The highest-rated defensive lineman in the game is a quarterback-seeking lightning bolt, who weighs 243 pounds.

Pearce, who plays for Tennessee, has a frame and athletic tools that only an elite defender can have, and his ability has been fully demonstrated on the court last year. He completed 10 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss in his sophomore season.

If he can stay healthy, he can surpass these totals this season. Some fans think this ranking is too high and does not match. But his strength is unquestionable and can definitely be ranked in the top ten.

3. Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State (96 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Just right

If you need a player to disrupt immediate offense, I think running back in college football is the best choice. EA Sports thinks so of Ollie Gordon II, and there is no doubt about it.

Last season, he ran for 1,732 yards and scored 22 touchdowns as a junior, which undoubtedly solidified his position as one of the elite players in the sport.

2. Will Campbell, OT, LSU (96 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: One spot too low

Coming to Baton Rouge, LSU was very happy with Will Campbell. An elite recruit in the class of 2022, he started as a left tackle and was unstoppable once he entered court.

In the entire year, he was not sacked by the opponent once.

Under his leadership, LSU’s offense had a spectacular year. However, he is only a junior now, which shows that he still has unlimited possibilities and great potential. Weighing 320 pounds, Campbell is also incredibly agile. Although currently ranked second, he is already the uncrowned king in many people’s hearts.

1. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan (96 Overall)

Rating Evaluation: Slightly high

Many people think he is a rising star. As a shutdown cornerback, he may be often overlooked. Most quarterbacks will choose to avoid him. But he still had an excellent performance last season, intercepting four passes.

He is the best player of the best team in the country and an elite player of elite size. It can be said that he is the top defensive player, but is he the best player overall? Some people remain skeptical.
