Posted: Jul 30, 2024

If you are interested in College Football 25, you will know that victory in the field depends entirely on the quality of your players. If you want talented players to join your team, you need to become a main recorder.

Next in this article, we will introduce some basic recruitment tips for you to learn.

College Football 25: How To Recruit The Best Players? - Essential Tips

Getting Started

The best time to attract a player is before the recruitment begins. When you create your coach, we can choose a talent tree to develop. This talent tree is very influential. If you recruit some players for your school, you will be provided with some rewards, such as College Football 25 Coins. Successful recruiting earns you more XP, which can help you unlock features like improved scouting and bonuses to influence.

The region where your school is located also has an impact. Powerhouse colleges like Alabama are more likely to recruit four- and five-star recruits. This is a fact. For schools like Oregon State, we have to spend more time recruiting players, but many players will not be interested.

Targeting Prospects

The first thing we need to do is to determine which players to recruit. You can have up to 35 new recruits in your pipeline. We recommend filling all 35 spots.

When selecting new recruits, my advice is to start with five-star recruits and then gradually reduce them. The advantage of doing this is that we can invest limited resources in the best players.

We can also look at pipeline strength. This number will affect whether you can recruit players. The higher the number, the easier it is to recruit players.

Starting from the first week, we will start with the simple. First is school preference. If someone shows an interest in your program, we can all go for it, and that player will be easier to join our team.

Then as we start filling out your prospects list, you should consider some areas you need. You can build your list, filter out some players, and then fill it out again as needed. When we have an initial list, we can start recruiting a week in advance.

Weekly Recruiting

The first thing we do is look at which players have scholarships. The more a player has, the harder it will be to join your team, especially if you are in a small school. Conversely, if you find a player who doesn’t have a scholarship, even if he is not interested in your school, you can include him in your team.

Offering scholarships to players can help players join your team. If you want, you can offer scholarships to all 35 prospects, but if you are a smaller school, it may make more sense to be selective.

We personally have a limited amount of time with each prospect, and the time you have varies by the prestige of the school and can be increased with some coaching upgrades. Every school has different strengths and weaknesses.

If you see a recruit that cares about Academic Prestige, but your school is a party school, it’s a sign that you’ll have a hard time recruiting them. But if your school is close to their hometown, then it’s a good advantage for you.

Over time, prospective players will narrow down their choices. Your goal is to stay above cutoff line. Once recruits have narrowed down to their top five teams, Hard and Soft Sell recruiting actions begin.

The top five teams can schedule a Visit. At this time, we need to highlight the strengths of our school. A simple game won’t leave much impression on prospective players, but if we lose the game, it will definitely leave a terrible impression.

Continue this process every week and keep updating your Recruiting Board to recruit new players. See where your recruits have advantages and decide whether to scouting actions. We can reallocate resources this way.

Warm reminder, if you are a low-prestige school, higher rated teams can close the gap on prospects. If you are not sure where to spend your time, you can spend some time scouting players. Revealing the attributes of players can help us prioritize who to target.

I believe that if you keep working hard like this, you will have an all-star class of recruits in no time. The above are some strategies for recruiting players. I hope they can help you. For more information and giveaway channel, you can join our IGGM discord.
