Source: IGGMPlayers, take note! The much-anticipated Black Myth Wukong is now live, and you can experience Chinese legend of Journey to the West as a Destined One. You will face various challenges in the process and finally get to the truth.
Among them is Drunken Pig Quest. Drunken Pig, also known as Yellow-Robed Squire, is a character in Yellow Wind Ridge. Although you don’t need to communicate with it, it has a quest here that can help you better solve the puzzles in the later games.
This guide will give you a description of how to complete Drunken Pig Quest. It is important to note that all Keeper’s Shrines and areas mentioned in this article are at the second level of the game, Yellow Wind Ridge.
Talking To Drunken Pig Near Rockrest Flat
When you enter Yellow Wind Ridge, you will see Drunken Pig in an empty area behind Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine in Fright Cliff. You can’t get to that area in a straight line, though. You need to go through the checkpoint and then jump or roll over a fence to come face to face with Drunken Pig.
Get Sobering Stone Near Windrest Bridge
As you get closer to Drunken Pig, you’ll find that it needs a Black Myth Wukong Item called Sobering Stone, which comes from Windrest. So you need to defeat Tiger Vanguard in Crouching Tiger Temple first, then take the road behind the arena, which will take you to Windrest Bridge Keeper’s Shrine.
From the checkpoint there, you cross a nearby bridge and head to the back left corner of the village. You’ll find a jar in this area, which you can break to get Sobering Stone. Or you can follow the instructions on the map to find it step by step.
Give Sobering Stone To Drunken Pig Near Rockrest Flat
Once you get Sobering Stone, you can immediately return to Drunken Pig near Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine and give it what it needs. It will slowly stand up, then prepare to leave, and tell you some information about Temple of Crouching Tiger.
Give Jade Lotus To Druken Pig Near Temple Entrance
Following the instructions from Druken Pig near Rockrest Flat, you need to go to Temple Entrance Keeper’s Shrine of Crouching Tiger Temple. Once there, climb the stairs and enter the alcove on the right, which is the arena where you and Tiger Vanguard will be.
Druken Pig is sitting in that alcove, and you can give it Jade Lotus to make it move. Most players should have a few Jade Lotuses, but if not, you can just search the pool in Yellow Wind Ridge for the materials to make it.
If you find that you don’t have enough before the battle, you can immediately find these Black Myth Wukong Items in the pool by using the game’s fast-travel mechanic.
Fight Yellow-Robed Squire Near Rockrest Flat
Now you can return to the empty area where you first encountered Druken Pig, and you will find that it wants to fight you here. The battle process is waiting for you to explore, so I won’t describe it here. After defeating Yellow-Robed Squire here, this NPC will pass through a gap in a nearby gate.
If you find this battle too difficult after trying it a few times, you might want to try Black Myth Wukong Boosting, which allows you to spend the least effort in this battle but get high rewards.
Passing Through The door Of Yellow-Robed Squire Arena
After the Yellow-Robed Squire passes through the gap and leaves, you can also pass through and see that the other side of the door is Kingdom of Sahali. There will be two bosses in this area - Tiger Vanguard and Fuban. After you kill these two powerful enemies, you can return to Yellow-Robed Squire Arena you just walked through and claim Wind Tamer Vessel and Sky-Piercing Horn Material as your reward.
The above is the walkthrough of Drunken Pig Quest in Black Myth Wukong. I hope you can have fun playing this very popular new game!
