Source: IGGMIn a recent update of the Animal Crossing: New Horizon, Nintendo tinkered with the spawn rates of certain creepy crawlies including Emperor and Peacock butterflies, Atlas moths, scorpions and tarantulas to make more bells.
It is reported that Nintendo has unified the spawn rates of different bugs and insects so that rather than popping up more often in certain months of the year, now they would have the same spawn rate every month.
Agrias butterfly used to be less common in April than in its other available months, Wharf roach had a higher rate in March, Peacock butterflies have been cut by 80%-90%, regular stinkbugs are up 100%, man-faced ones down 50%, tiger beetles up by 33%, scarab beetles down 40%.
As in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons, your island is entirely determined by yourself, except for the tradable vegetables such as turnips, it is better to figure out the spawn rates of all insects and their rate to make more profits, or bells.
