Until January 17, the players can not meet the long-anticipated Public Test Server for the upcoming Wastelanders of Fallout 76 as scheduled, because Bethesda announced in a forum post that the PTS will delay for an unforeseen amount of time after noticing another hiccup for the new addition to the game.

As one who has played Fallout 76 for a long time, this is not the first time I have found a bug in the game, such as numerous NPCs who want to kill players, robots with whom vault dwellers can interact, and more, Bethesda plans to add more human NPCs to Fallout 76, which was originally planned for a late 2019 release but was delayed until 2020.

Currently, its PTS has encountered similar problems, even Bethesda has promised to fix the issue actively, but players still do not know how long to wait for it.

That being said, all who are eager to explore the Watoga Underground and all the Wastelanders must wait a little longer.

Anyway, Wastelanders must come later, which will bring major changes to Fallout 76, including a more full world filled with the aforementioned human NPCs, a return of choice and consequences in dialogue options, and new areas to explore. If you are expected to those, you are also allowed to apply for the beat once the PTS becomes available again, until then, Bethesda would invite more players to give feedback as testing.

By now, what we know is only promise of Fallout 76, and only time will tell if the update will be enough to finally get the game in the good graces of the masses. Bethesda has been criticized many times for worse and worse experience, and recently it plans to close Vault 94 raids indefinitely, introducing a monthly pay-to-win form like Fallout 1st.

Hopefully, the postponement of Bethesda could decrease the exploits, bugs and issues of Wastelanders, which will make waiting more meaningful.
